Our Personal Water Craft (PWC) of choice is the Yamaha EX Waverunner—the top rated in its class. Starting with three Jet Skis in its opening day in 2015, Sea the City’s current fleet of 16 Jet Skis reach speeds of 50 mph. Designed by a master boat builder, our two, custom-built Hot Tub Boats are Coast Guard-certified, 40-foot motor-driven catamarans, which each contain two professionally maintained individual tubs (spas). These distinctively designed boats are operated by USCG licensed Master Captains.

What an amazing time I had with the team at Sea the City!! I had only jet skied once before – so was definitely a bit of a novice at first, but by the time we hit the East River I was soaring! We offer a range of exhilarating jet ski tours for beginners and experienced thrill-seekers alike. Whether you’d like to ride for 1km or 80km, we’ve got a course for you.

Parasailing

Come parasailing with us and see the Gold Coast 300ft high above the Broadwater! We can accommodate solo riders, as well as groups of two or t hree.

Jet Boating

Blasting through the Broadwater at speeds of up to 75km/h, our jet boating rides will have you on the edge of your seat. Hang tight while we execute 360 spins, high-speed slides and more!

Do I Need a Licence to Ride a Jet Ski?

No not with us! We give you a safety briefing and you will be required to complete a written test in English. A practice ride will be given before commencing the safari. We cater for beginners to advanced riders we are confident that with our guides vast knowledge and experience we can get anyone jet skiing!

What Is the Minimum Age to Ride a Jet Ski?

The minimum age to participate in one of our safaris is 7 years old or 125cm.

The minimum age to drive a jet ski is 12 years old with an adult accompanying them on the back.

16 years can drive solo, but an adult or guardian must be present to sign the waiver and release before safari commences.

Are the Prices Per Person or Per Jet Ski?

All of our prices are per jet ski, not per person. So this means you can double up and split the cost AND share the driving! All of our safaris have a halfway point where you can swap drivers. Explore our range of offerings and you’ll find a package that’s just the right fit for your needs!

How Many People Can Ride One Jet Ski?

Our Jet skis are designed to accommodate two riders comfortably. You can often get 3 on a ski, however it is at management discretion and must adhere to safe operation of the ski while not exceeding 200kg.

What Do I Need to Bring for My Jet Skiing Adventure?

Protecting your skin with sunscreen and your eyes with sunglasses can make your ride more enjoyable. And of course, a camera (waterproof, if possible) to capture the moments is always a good idea.

Each participant 18 or over must bring your mobile phone and photo ID to complete the release and waiver on arrival.

What Should I Wear?

Swimmers and board shorts are fine, or any clothes you don’t mind getting a little wet. We do not recommend wearing shoes or a hat on the jet ski. If you are not barefoot you are overdressed!

We highly recommend bringing sunglasses, however we have $5 safety sunnies or $5 sunnies straps available to purchase at the front desk.

Is Jet Skiing Difficult for Beginners?

Jet skiing is super easy! We teach you everything you need to know in our comprehensive safety briefing and on water talks before taking you off on your jet ski adventure! 

With multiple guides out there to cater for all abilities, Jet Ski Safaris is perfect for first timers all the way to seasoned professionals!

What Jet Skis Do You Have?

With an impressive fleet of 56 Seadoo jet skis, we take immense pride in being the largest jet ski rental service in Australia. Our expansive selection includes the popular Seadoo GTI and GTX 130 models. We chose these jet skis due to their outstanding durability and performance in relation to other jet ski models.
