Jungle are back in 2023 with their new album ‘Volcano’. This record builds upon the success of the 2021 album ‘Loving in Stereo, which was met with critical and commercial success, becoming one of the most acclaimed albums of the year. With ‘Volcano’, Jungle has once again proven themselves to be one of the most exciting and innovative artists in electronic music. With the infusion of disco, soul and hip-hop elements, Jungle continues to push the boundaries of their sound, creating an uplifting and free-spirited album which is sure to be one of the highlights of the year, solidifying the duo’s status as one of the most important voices in contemporary music.

Jungle’s journey began in Tom McFarland’s bedroom in London, where he and childhood friend Joshua Lloyd-Watson began experimenting with music production. With a passion for creating soulful, funky beats and an affinity for live instrumentation, the duo quickly developed a unique sound that would set them apart from their contemporaries. Jungle’s music quickly gained traction, and they soon found themselves performing at some of the most prestigious music festivals and venues around the world.

The Mercury Prize-nominated, Gold-certified debut and 2018’s follow-up ‘For Ever’ both entered the UK Top 10. ‘Loving in Stereo’ then amplified Jungle’s success further, reaching number 3 in the UK charts, whilst rocketing to #1 in the US Billboard Dance Album Chart. These three records have since amassed over 1,000,000 equivalent album sales and gained over a billion streams. From the confines of Tom’s bedroom, Jungle is about to embark on its next journey with the release of ‘Volcano’, a testament to the power of passion, creativity, and hard work.

Alongside their recorded music, Jungle has developed into one of the most exciting and innovative live acts in the world through their infectious grooves and immersive sound. They kick off with their highly anticipated headline show at All Points East on the 26 th August, in London’s Victoria Park. The show will see Jungle being supported by a stellar lineup of international acts, in an event that will be one of the highlights of the UK festival season. This is then followed up quickly by an extensive tour across North America and Europe, where Jungle will play some of their biggest venues to date, bringing their electrifying live show to arenas across the world. Jungle’s live shows this year promise to be a celebration of life, love and the power of music to bring people together with their incredible live show.

With ‘Volcano’, Jungle are expanding their sound even further, with more innovative and forward thinking production. From intricate and complex beats to soaring synths and soulful melodies, this record is testament to Jungle’s skill as producers and their ability to create music that is both timeless and modern. Collaboration is a key feature of this album, with legendary artists such as Roots Manuva, Erick the Architect, Channel Tres and Bas all appearing across the record.

Alongside their music, Jungle’s music videos, and visual universe more widely, have been a key part of their identity. Through their use of vibrant choreography and beautiful, engaging cinematography, Jungles’ iconic music videos have gained hundreds of millions of views on YouTube. Jungle’s music videos for Volcano are perhaps their most ambitious yet, featuring their signature choreography, with a slight twist. The videos are set to explore the universe Jungle has created up to this point, however it will become clear that not all is what it seems. Overall, the videos will be a stunning visual feast that will bring the Jungle world to life in a whole new way.

Relax, sit back, and prepare to be transported to a new dimension of sound with Jungle’s highly anticipated album ‘Volcano’. With its infectious energy and catchy melodies, each track will have you dancing along from start to finish. So, plug in your headphones, turn up the volume, and let Jungle’s ‘Volcano’ take you on a journey that you won’t forget.

Jungle LIVE at WAMU Theater on September 15

New album volcano august 11 and worldwide tour dates.

jungle music tour 2023

Volcano, the highly anticipated new album from British songwriting and production duo Jungle, is set for release August 11 via Caiola Records / AWAL. The record follows on the heels of their critically acclaimed 2021 album Loving In Stereo, which NPR Music hailed as “a feel-good record... if an album in 2021 was a soundtrack to self-care this would be it,” while Billboard furthered, “[On Loving In Stereo] you get an album on which a chest-swelling disco sermon can share space with a hip-hop track and a beachy rock song—all different sounds, yet all still decidedly Jungle.” Fans can pre-save Volcano HERE .

In celebration of the forthcoming record, Jungle is debuting the album’s lead single “Candle Flame” featuring rapper Erick the Architect. Listen to/share the track HERE and watch/share an accompanying video HERE .

“As Jungle, we are incredibly proud of our latest release, ‘Candle Flame,’” recall band members/producers J&T. “We wanted to create a song that was both personal and relatable, exploring the highs and lows of love and relationships in a way that was both poetic and authentic. Working with Erick The Architect was an absolute pleasure and his unique perspective and talent added an extra layer of depth and richness to the track. ‘Candle Flame’ represents everything that we stand for as a band—creativity, passion and a commitment to making music that touches the hearts and minds of our fans. We can’t wait for everyone to hear it, and we hope that it brings joy and inspiration to all who listen.”

The free-spirited energy that runs right through Volcano reflects how organically it came together. This time around the duo wanted to include a wider variety of voices within the album, leading to collaborations with Erick The Architect, Bas, Roots Manuva, Channel Tres, JNR Williams and more.

Jungle has also confirmed an extensive run of worldwide tour dates in support of the forthcoming album. The duo’s lauded full-band live shows will grace some of their biggest venues to date as they’re set to play to a total of more than 190,000 people. Their North American run kicks off in Santa Barbara on September 6 and include shows at New York’s Forest Hills Stadium, Los Angeles’ The Forum, DC’s The Anthem, Philadelphia’s Franklin Music Hall, Chicago’s Aragon Ballroom and more. The group is also slated to headline London’s All Points East Festival on August 26. See below for the full tour routing.

Fans who sign up to the band’s mailing list by 12A.M. on Wednesday, March 29 will receive access to a ticket pre-sale, which opens at 10 A.M.  local time on Thursday, March 30. The pre-sale will be live until 10 P.M. local time that day while general on-sale begins at 10 A.M.  local time on Friday, March 31.

Jungle was founded by J&T, who met at the age of 10 in West London’s Shepherd’s Bush. They began making music together at the beginning of 2013, choosing to put the aesthetic emphasis on the music’s surrounding artwork/videos rather than on their own identities.

Jungle’s 2014 self-titled debut album was a Mercury Prize nominee and is now Gold-certified, whereas their 2018 follow-up, For Ever, reached #10 on the UK Albums Chart. Their 2021 album, Loving In Stereo, achieved their highest domestic chart position to date, debuting at #1 on Billboard’s Current Electronic Albums chart while also peaking at #3 on Independent Albums, #4 on Current Rock Albums and #6 on Current Alternative Albums charts. Their three records have since amassed over a million equivalent album sales and a billion streams worldwide. They’ve performed on five continents, headlining venues both stateside and abroad while performing at major music festivals such as Glastonbury, Coachella, Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza. Last year, the duo embarked on a select run of European dates supporting Billie Eilish on her “Happier Than Ever” tour.

Big change to I’m A Celebrity 2024 nude showers

Footage of stars showering nude went viral during last year’s I’m A Celebrity, but there’s been a major shift in the latest season.

Lexie Cartwright

‘National treasure’ unveiled on I’m A Celeb

‘Sheer panic’: Terrifying I’m A Celeb moment

‘Sheer panic’: Terrifying I’m A Celeb moment

Chaos as I’m A Celeb star breaks contract

Chaos as I’m A Celeb star breaks contract

It’s a question that divides I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! viewers: Would you shower naked on the show?

A cold, open-air shower hovers over the gym and dishwasing area at the camp site deep in the South African jungle, free for those brave enough to have a nude tub on national TV.

Campmates on last year’s season of the Channel 10 show had no qualms about stripping off, including Domenica Calarco, Aesha Scott, Ian ‘Dicko’ Dickson and Harry Garside – tasteful shots of their individual butts ultimately making it to air.

And while the footage is all relatively PG, modest bum clips were enough to scare off this season’s celebs, most of whom told news.com.au they refused to go nude at any point during the show – despite how dirty they get.

I'm A Celebrity stars in 2023 embraced going nude.

“No way [will I shower naked],” Gold Coast influencer Skye Wheatley told news.com.au before she went into camp late last month.

“My partner was like, ‘You are a mother!’

“I definitely will only be showering in bikinis. I don’t think people need to see that. I keep my bits to myself.”

Retired ironwoman Candice Warner echoed the sentiment, affirming she would “clean appropriately” from the comfort of a swimsuit.

Wheatley will not be showering nude on I’m A Celeb.

Former Studio 10 host Tristan Macmanus, having played rugby in his youth, was slightly more open-minded to the idea of going starkers, though conceded he’s not even comfortable showering at home when his own children venture into the bathroom.

In fact, the only celeb who said they would embrace a nude shower this season was Denise Drysdale, who entered camp as an intruder on Monday’s episode.

The 75-year-old showbiz veteran told us she was fine with taking her kit off with cameras around.

“When I was building a house, we had a caravan we lived in with an outdoor shower,” she said.

“All the wiggly worms used to come out and into the shower, and the first night was awful, but by the third night, I’d named them all.

“But, if someone can see me nude, I’ll probably yell, ‘I’m a celebrity, get me out of here!’”

The naked shower stakes were much lower when this writer went into the jungle as a stand-in alongside other members of Australian media a few days before the actual celebs showed up.

During the first challenge on day one, we were pummelled with cockroaches, mealworms, dirt and unidentifiable goo, all while sweating in 36C heat for hours.

And so, shortly after arriving in camp for the night – mealworms setting up residence in my hair – I made the very difficult decision to have a nude shower. There’s no need to be weird about it. (It’s me, I’m being weird about it).

While, thankfully, there’s no risk of my butt making it to air, the ramifications of my choices became evident during a work meeting with the network’s production team the next afternoon.

As producers casually discussed having to sift through hours of the test camp footage (the team literally watch every single moment), it dawned on me. They’ve seen .

More Coverage

jungle music tour 2023

I quietly began taking fake notes as though I was carving scrimshaw, avoided eye contact like the plague and fought a strong urge to dive into the nearest pond and start a new life with the hippos.

Jokes aside, it’s fair to understand why something as natural as showering naked is not for everyone who signs onto the show.

I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! airs Sunday-Thursday on Channel 10 at 7.30pm

One of Australia’s most well-known showbiz personalities is going into the South African jungle as an intruder.

Frightening scenes play out in tonight’s I’m A Celeb as a “non-swimmer” contestant slips below the surface in deep water.

A prominent Aussie athlete broke a major clause in his contract with Network Ten, sending production into a spiral on the ground in South Africa.

Artist Information

Jungle's journey began in Tom McFarland's bedroom in London, where he and childhood friend Joshua Lloyd-Watson began experimenting with music production. With a passion for creating soulful, funky beats and an affinity for live instrumentation, the duo quickly developed a unique sound that would set them apart from their contemporaries. Jungle's music quickly gained traction, and they soon found themselves performing at some of the most prestigious music festivals and venues around the world.

From the confines of Tom's bedroom, Jungle is about to embark on its next journey with the release of ‘Volcano’, a testament to the power of passion, creativity, and hard work.

So, plug in your headphones, turn up the volume, and let Jungle's 'Volcano' take you on a journey that you won't forget.
