Global rock superstars Green Day – Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tré Cool – have officially shared details on their massive 2024 global stadium tour with support from with the illustrious rock luminaries The Smashing Pumpkins , Rancid, and The Linda Lindas in North America and Nothing But Thieves, The Hives, Donots, The Interrupters and Maid of Ace in the UK/EU .   The Saviors Tour, fueled by Monster Energy , kicks off with the European run on 30 May in Monte De Gozo, Spain and travels through France, Germany and Italy, before reaching the UK, including a huge London show at the legendary Wembley Stadium on 29 June. The North American run, produced by Live Nation, begins shortly after on July 29 at Nationals Park in Washington, DC and makes 27 stops across North America in cities such as Toronto, ON; New York, NY; Chicago, IL; Atlanta, GA; Nashville, TN; Los Angeles, CA; Phoenix, AZ; San Francisco, CA and many more before wrapping up in San Diego, CA at Petco Park on September 28.

Green Day shared, “We’ve never been more excited to unleash new music than with Saviors , a record that’s meant to be rocked live, together.  So let’s thrash.  We’ve got some amazing friends who are coming along for the ride!”

The tour will be a larger-than-life, career-spanning celebration of one of the biggest musical acts of all time and some of the most important albums in history. This year marks the 30th anniversary of Green Day’s 1994 certified Diamond album, Dookie , and the 20th anniversary of 2004’s juggernaut, American Idiot . Each a cultural phenomenon in its own right, these albums have remained at the forefront of punk culture since their release. With blazing guitars and electrifying vocals, Green Day are ready to bring their mind-blowing collection of hits to stadiums across the country, along with plenty of additions from their newly announced album, Saviors .

Green Day began dropping hints about their soon-to-be 14th studio album, Saviors , at a surprise show at Las Vegas’ Fremont Country Club, surrounded by a crowd of 800 die-hard fans. During their Las Vegas takeover, which also included commanding headline performances at When We Were Young festival, the band debuted two killer new tracks: the first single “ The American Dream Is Killing Me ” and the brand new “ Look Ma, No Brains! ,” out today. Fans got another chance to hear the new music during Green Day’s headlining Amazon Music Live concert series performance on October 26, which included the two releases along with crowd favorites from their extensive discography. ABOUT GREEN DAY

Formed in 1986 in Berkeley, CA, Green Day is one of the world’s best-selling bands of all time, with more than 75 million records sold worldwide and 10 billion cumulative audio/visual streams. The North American run will include shows at New York’s Citi Field, Boston’s Fenway Park, Chicago’s Wrigley Field, Pittsburgh’s PNC Park, Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium and a final scheduled concert at Petco Park in San Diego on Sept. 28. The North American on-sale begins on Nov. 10 at 10 a.m. local time and the UK/EU general onsale begins on Nov. 10 at 9:30 a.m. GMT.

The band dropped the video for the pop- punk rager “Look Ma, No Brains!” on Thursday, a track they debuted live at a surprise Las Vegas club show last month along with the strident “The American Dream Is Killing Me.” Saviors is due out on Jan. 19 on Reprise/Warner Records.

Green Day Detail 2024 Tour With the Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid, the Hives, and More

Green Day recently told fans that they’d be going on a North American tour next year with support from the Smashing Pumpkins , Rancid , and the Linda Lindas . The band has now shared the details of the Saviors Tour, which is scheduled to kick off in Europe in May. For the European leg of the tour, Green Day will have support from Nothing but Thieves, the Hives, Donots, the Interrupters, and Maid of Ace. The group begins the North American leg in July. Green Day’s tour comes in support of the band’s new album, Saviors . The band will also use the trek celebrate the 30th anniversary of Dookie and 20th anniversary of American Idiot .

Green Day announce 2024 world tour dates

The pop-punk veterans will be joined by smashing pumpkins and rancid for the north american leg of the saviors tour..

Green Day have confirmed details of The Saviors Tour, which will take them across the world in 2024. As the band previously revealed , they will be joined by Smashing Pumpkins for the North American stage of the tour, with Rancid and The Linda Lindas also joining them.

The Saviors Tour is scheduled to kick off in Europe in June. Support at those shows will come from Nothing but Thieves, the Hives, Donots, the Interrupters, and Maid of Ace. The North American leg then starts in Washington, DC on July 29 before wrapping at San Diego's Petco Park on September 29.

Green Day Announces 2024 Stadium Tour Ft. The Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid, More

Green Day has announced an extensive global stadium trek, dubbed The Saviors Tour , set to take the lauded punk rock power trio around Europe, the U.K., and North America throughout 2024. The tour, which will celebrate the 20th anniversary of 2004’s American Idiot and the 30th anniversary of 1994’s Dookie in addition to the band’s forthcoming 2024 LP, Saviors , is set to feature support from The Smashing Pumpkins ,  Rancid , and  The Linda Lindas in North American and Nothing But Thieves , The Hives , Donots , The Interrupters , and Maid of Ace in Europe and the U.K.

The Saviors Tour , fueled by Monster Energy , will kick off on May 30th, 2024 in Monte do Gozo, Spain and take Green Day—comprised of  Billie Joe Armstrong (lead vocals, guitar),  Mike Dirnt (bass), and Tré Cool (drums)—through France, Germany and Italy, ahead of a run of U.K. shows culminating in a performance at London’s famed  Wembley Stadium on June 29th.

The tour’s 27-stop North American leg, produced by Live Nation , will get underway a month later on July 29th at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C. before traversing the continent throughout August and September for shows in Toronto, ON; New York, NY; Chicago, IL; Atlanta, GA; Nashville, TN; Los Angeles, CA; Phoenix, AZ; and San Francisco, CA. The Green Day Saviors Tour will finally wrap up with a show at Petco Park in San Diego, CA on September 28th.

Green Day recently began the rollout process of its forthcoming 14th studio album, Saviors , due out in January 2024. The band debuted two songs from the album, “The American Dream Is Killing Me” and “Look Ma, No Brains!”, in Las Vegas during the When We Were Young festival. Green Day, Smashing Pumpkins, & Rancid Announce 2024 Joint Tour Dates

A couple of weeks ago, the night before they headlined the When We Were Young festival, Green Day played a warmup gig at a Las Vegas club. Just before they debuted their new single “ The American Dream Is Killing Me ,” Billie Joe Armstrong announced plans for a big 2020 stadium tour. It’ll be Green Day headlining alongside their fellow ’90s alt-rock giants the Smashing Pumpkins, their old East Bay comrades Rancid, and teenage Californian punks the Linda Lindas. Today, they’ve made it official: The Saviors tour will hit stadiums all across North America next summer.

Green Day’s new LP Saviors is coming in January, and the tour is named after the album. They’ve also just shared a Ryan Baxley-directed video for the new single “Look Ma, No Brains!,” which they debuted live at When We Were Young. But the promotional materials for the tour make it clear that the shows will commemorate a couple of Green Day classics — the 30th anniversary of Dookie and the 20th anniversary of American Idiot . These guys presumably know that people don’t go to Green Day shows to hear new songs, especially with a couple of other great ’90s bands on the bill.

Before the American version of the Saviors tour kicks off, Green Day will also hit the UK and Europe with a different slate of openers, with Nothing But Thieves, the Hives, Donots, the Interrupters, and Maid Of Ace all playing different dates. In a press release, the band says, “We’ve never been more excited to unleash new music than with Saviors , a record that’s meant to be rocked live, together. Green Day announce 2024 UK and European stadium tour dates

The gigs – part of a huge world tour – will celebrate new album 'saviors', 30 years of 'dookie' and 20 years of 'american idiot'..

Green Day have announced details of a huge 2024 stadium tour behind new album  Saviors , which will include a run of UK and European gigs.

The band had previously detailed a US stadium run with support from The Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid and California newcomers The Linda Lindas.

Ahead of this tour, which will celebrate the new album as well as 30 years of Dookie and 20 years of American Idiot , they will head to the UK and Europe for gigs supported by Nothing But Thieves, The Hives and more.

“We’ve never been more excited to unleash new music than with  Saviors , a record that’s meant to be rocked live, together,” the band said in a statement. 

“So let’s thrash.  We’ve got some amazing friends who are coming along for the ride!”

Green Day World TOUR 2024: Supporting Acts, Complete Dates + How to Get Tickets

Calling all fans of Green Day! The Billie Joe Armstrong-led band is coming back in 2024 and they're going to visit several cities around the world to celebrate their previous projects' anniversary! Check out below if they're going to a city near you.

According to People Magazine , the band, which consists of Armstrong, Tré Cool, and Mike Dirnt, will be going on " The Saviors Tour " next year to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their album "Dookie" and 20th-year of "American Idiot."

The group of musicians won't be alone in their touring journey as they will be accompanied by supporting acts The Smashing Pumpkins, The Linda Lindas, and Rancid, for North America.

On the other hand, Donots, The Hives, Nothing But Thieves, Maid of Ace, and The Interrupters, will be supporting the band in their shows across the United Kingdom and Europe.

Green Day will head to Europe and the UK first on May 2024, before heading to North America in late July of next year.

For those who wanted to see the musicians perform live, tickets for the North American leg will be available for purchase starting on November 10 at 10 a.m. local time.

On the other hand, tickets for Europe and the United Kingdom shows could be purchased on November 10 at 9:30 a.m, GMT/10:30 a.m. CET.

This was not the first time the group announced their series of concerts next year as they revealed at the Fremont Country Club in Las Vegas that they're going to do "a big tour" in 2024.

Green Day is getting ready to hit the road on their 2024 "Saviors" Tour, which hits North America at the end of July, and one of the band's biggest fans will be heading to see the band's Nashville stop.

Green Day's "Saviors" Tour kicks off in North America on July 29th in Washington, DC at Nationals Park and takes the band across the country stopping in cities including New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago, Atlanta, Detroit, Denver, Austin, Los Angeles, Phoenix, San Francisco and more, before wrapping up in San Diego, California at Petco Park. The trek will celebrate 30 years of the band's 1994 album Dookie and 20 years of their 2004 album American Idiot , and will also feature special guests The Smashing Pumpkins , Rancid and The Linda Lindas .

In a statement on social media, Green Day explained of their upcoming tour, "We can't wait for The Saviors Tour!!! We're playing Dookie in full. We're playing American Idiot in full. We're playing some new songs. We're playing some old songs."
