Upon arrival in Cairo, you are met at the airport by your Audley representative and driven to your hotel by your private driver. You then have the rest of the evening to settle into your hotel.

Enjoy a full-day, privately guided tour of the pyramids at Giza, Saqqara, and Dahshur this morning. Visit the Bent Pyramid at Dahshur, one of the earliest examples of pyramid architecture, before working your way back to Cairo, visiting the stepped pyramid of Saqqara and the behemoths at Giza.

After breakfast, you are taken for a privately guided tour of the wonderfully disorganized Egyptian Museum, which houses a wealth of Pharaonic treasures. In the afternoon, you get the chance to try a range of Egyptian and Cairene cuisine on a food tour through the downtown. You visit around six stops and sample various food and beverages, from Egyptian classics such as ta'amiya, ful, and kosheri, to the subjective molokhia, and juices such as sugar cane and tamarind.

After breakfast, you are driven to Cairo International Airport for a short flight to Luxor. A local Audley representative greets you at the airport and transfers you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to spend at leisure. You could enjoy the hotel’s facilities or alternatively spend some time exploring Luxor. Luxor Museum is worth a visit and is easy to explore independently. There, you will find a small but choice collection of statues and funerary goods from local temples and the Theban Necropolis.

Today, you have an early start for a full-day, privately guided tour of Luxor's West Bank. There are a range of unforgettable sights, including the Valley of the Kings, where you can enter a tomb to see the vividly preserved hieroglyphics. You continue on to visit Hatshepsut's Temple, Colossi of Memnon and the temple of Ramses III at Medinet Habu afterwards.

After a relaxing morning, you are picked up for the short drive to the imposing Temples of Karnak and Luxor, on the East Bank. Your private guide explains how the Temple of Luxor at sunset is a particularly memorable, unmistakably Egyptian sight. Karnak Temple is also impressive and boasts 134 giant sandstone columns designed in the form of papyrus stalks. The rest of the day is yours to spend at leisure.

In the morning you are picked up by your private driver and set off for your first stop: Edfu Temple. This journey takes around two and a half hours. Your private guide explains to you the significance of Edfu before you continue on to Kom Ombo, the crocodile temple, which lies two hours south. You then continue to Aswan, your final stop, where you spend the last few nights of your trip.

Today you have a day at leisure to enjoy the laid-back charms of Aswan. You might want to visit the extraordinary Temple of Philae, browse the Nubian Museum or go shopping in the souqs. Alternatively, enjoy the facilities at your hotel and relax and unwind for your final full day in Egypt.

This morning you are collected by your private driver and transferred to Aswan Airport for your internal flight to Cairo. There, you are met by a local Audley representative who escorts you to your onward flight as you bid a sad farewell to Egypt.

Luxor West Bank In the morning you will be picked up from Luxor Airport or your hotel in Luxor by an air-conditioned vehicle for a guided trip. First, you will be transported to the Necropolis of Thebes, the Valley of the Kings on the West Bank of Luxor. This ancient necropolis is a must-see for Luxor travelers. It consists of tombs embedded in the mountain Thebes. Here you visit 3 tombs of various dynasties. Your Egyptologist tour guide will be on hand to recommend and advise you as to which tombs to visit. After visiting the tombs, you will be transported to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Then, you visit the Temple of Ramses III (Medinat Habu). Afterward, you will be taken to see the Colossi of Memnon. After touring these sites, you will be transferred to your hotel by an air-conditioned vehicle.

Luxor East Bank Before sunrise, you'll have the possibility of taking an optional hot air balloon ride over the West Bank (additional cost). In the morning you will be picked up from your hotel for a guided tour. First you will be transported to Karnak Temples on the East Bank of Luxor, where you can find the Temple of Amon, the Granite Scarbeus of Amenophis III and the Sacred Lake. Karnak is a very inspiring site to visit. After Karnak, you will be brought to Luxor Museum, which displays a unique collection of ancient items found in Luxor. Some items were found in Tutankhamun's tomb. You will also see several mummies. Afterwards, you'll visit Luxor Temple, which is dedicated to the Theben Triad of Amun-Ra, Mut and Khonsu. Day 1: Cairo /Aswan Sightseeing Tours

Normal Season We require 25% deposit of full price One Month Prior tour start to secure and guarantee tour space. On High Seasons Christmas, New Year, Easter Vacation and for packages includes airfare we require 50% deposit 2 Months before tour starts.

Tour Deposit could be made by Bank Transfer to our company bank account, Western Union or Credit Card. Balance payment should be received on your arrival to hotel in Egypt.

From Aswan 3 Days 2 Nights Nile Cruise

We had a very pleasant time on our cruise. We think it's a fantastic way to travel around between the citiess. Easy and fun! The boat food was buffet style and a nice selection of dishes; the desserts could be much better however. The staff was extremely friendly as well on the boat. Our guide was fantastic and so wonderful about ideas and arrangements. We aren't 'cruise' people so 2 nights was perfect for us. This cruise has a massage therapist who was also very nice.

4 Day - 3 Night Deluxe Nile Cruise Trip Aswan & Luxor

Insgesamt war die viertägige Reise sehr schön, so dass wir diese gerne weiterempfehlen können. Ein paar negative Dinge möchten wir allerdings dennoch anmerken. Es macht bestimmt Sinn die ankommenden Gäste besser zu informieren wer welche Funktion hat. Wem man da Geld gibt ohne Quittung. Das man 45€ pauschal Trinkgeld vorab bezahlen muss um dann trotzdem für jeden Kofferträger, Fahrer, Fotografen extra was hinzulegen halte ich für eine Unverschämtheit zumal man Trinkgeld auch in Ägypten abhängig von der Qualität der Dienstleistung bezahlt. Ein weiteres Ärgernis aus unsrer Sicht war die Tatsache dass meine Kinder statt der gebuchten Kabine im Vorderschiff die neben der unsrigen lag, eine Kabine direkt hinter dem Dieselmotor bekam, offensichtlich weil sich ein früher angereister Gast beschwerte und dafür die Kabine meiner Kinder bekam. Die Kabine war laut und die Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht, ein Balkon war auch nicht dabei. Ich würde übrigens auch empfehlen eine genauer Beschreibung des Tagesablaufes an die Gäste weiterzugeben.

We had been assured when making our booking that we would be accommodated on a much smaller vessel (18 passengers they said), and definately not the typically large multi-storey rivership as per typical brochures (they assured us). Notwithstanding this misleading booking information, we had a good time on the vessel. Food was of wide variety and good quality, accommodation spacious enough, and crew were very friendly and helpful. The idea of being accompanied on this cruise by a dedicated guide was not value for money, and added little to our tourist experiences beyond him being more able to obtaining tickets at the various sites visited. The cruise itself, and the river sightseeing, from Aswan to Luxor was relaxing and enjoyable. The times allocated for visiting the various temples and etc along the way, was somewhat short. A bit rushed for us. Be that as it may, the on-shore transport arrangements worked quite effectively. The hidden extra costs ought to be made more transparent for customers. Paying for water, tea and coffee may seem a bit petty to some western travellers. just something to consider.

The most popular attractions in Luxor are the majestic Karnak temple complex and the Valley of the Kings. Like Luxor, Aswan has countless ruins from the time of the ancient Egyptians. However, it has a more relaxed and tranquil vibe, with serene boat rides on the River Nile, palm-studded shorelines, authentic souks (bazaars), and picturesque sites. You can visit an exotic, traditional Nubian village (with African architectural and cultural elements, which stand out in sharp contrast with the surrounding Egyptian style and culture). Take a tour of the Daraw Camel Market, which is dedicated entirely to the trading of camels. Marvel at the engineering behind Aswan High Dam, which put an end to the cycle of flood and drought in the Nile River region.

The most famous site in Aswan is Abu Simbel, which is about a 3-hour drive from downtown. There are flights, too, which operate from Aswan to Abu Simbel, so travelers don't have to wake up early and spend 6 hours on the road, back and forth.

However, the most luxurious way to reach Abu Simbel is on a Nile cruise. Alternatively, visitors can hire a felucca (the traditional local-style boat) and enjoy the peaceful journey. The water transportation system in Aswan is highly developed compared to other destinations in Egypt.
