How to complete the Worlds Championship Tour challenge in Destiny 2

Image of Nicholas Taifalos

Guardian Games 2024 is coming to a close in Destiny 2 and many guardians are scrambling to complete their remaining challenges, but one in particular is tripping many players up: The Worlds Championship Tour challenge .

Bungie will have you galivanting all over the system trying to complete this task, but players have found a much easier way to accomplish the task and unlock that sweet Guardian Games title. Here’s how to finish the Worlds Championship Tour challenge in Destiny 2 .

How do you complete the Worlds Championship Tour challenge in Destiny 2 ?

A screenshot of the Guardian Games Worlds Championship Tour challenge in Destiny 2

To complete the Worlds Championship Tour challenge in Destiny 2 , you must finish Destination activities such as Blind Well, Altars of Sorrow, Empire Hunts, the Wellspring, Partition, and Terminal Overload.

Here’s a quick rundown of the activities that count and where to go to complete them:

  • Blind Well : Can be started from the Destinations menu in the Dreaming City.
  • Altars of Sorrow : Open activity found at Sorrow’s Harbor on the Moon.
  • Empire Hunts : Can be started on Europa. Higher difficulties grant more progression.
  • Wellspring : Matchmade activity on Savathun’s Throne World. Higher difficulties grant more progression.
  • Partition : Open activity found in Neomuna on Neptune. Rotates daily between each main location, currently found in Zephyr Concourse.
  • Terminal Overload : Can be started from the Destinations menu in Neomuna on Neptune.

You aren’t told specifically how many you need to complete here, but each Destiny 2 activity gives a slightly different percentage towards the total. I enjoy running Terminal Overload, but it has been noted by players you can receive the most progression by completing a full run of Altars of Sorrow on the Moon . The boss alone gives 26 percent, and once you add on completing the other tiers, you’ll be done in three runs or so.

Rewards for completing the Worlds Championship Tour challenge in Destiny 2

Reaching 100 percent completes the challenge, which rewards you with 15,000 Glimmer, three Enhancement Cores, a Gold Medallion for the Guardian Games, and an Event Ticket .

Crucially, this Destiny 2 challenge needs to be completed if you want to unlock the prestigious Guardian Games 2024 “Champ” title , so get over to the Moon and smash out some Altars of Sorrow before the event concludes on March 26 .

The Challengers of the 2024 Giro d’Italia and Tour de France

We look beyond Tadej Pogačar and Jonas Vingegaard and into the riders who are set to bring the heat to this year’s Grand Tours.

tdf and giro dark horses

Primož Roglič

Cian uijtdebroeks, ben o’connor, geraint thomas, alexsandr vlasov, simon yates, jai hindley, sepp kuss, juan ayuso, and adam yates.

As we grow nearer to Grand Tour season, the story is no doubt going to center around cycling’s two biggest names: Tadej Pogačar and Jonas Vingegaard. Can Pog pull off the Giro/Tour double? If he’s going to, he’ll have to vanquish Vingegaard, the only rider who’s been able to go toe-to-toe with Pogačar. On the other side of the coin, can Vingegaard go three-for-three, becoming just the ninth rider to win at least three Tours (and the sixth to win three consecutively)?

Here are the contenders primed to challenge cycling's dominant duo in the Giro d’Italia and Tour de France :

Remco Evenepoel

77th tour of spain 2022 stage 18

There’s no denying that Evenepoel is one of the most talented riders in the WorldTour ranks. And with a pair of Liège-Bastonge-Liège wins and a Vuelta win, he already has a palmarès that most riders dream of. But after a bitterly disappointing Giro abandonment last season and years of answering questions about when he’s going to race the Tour, the time may be here for Evenepoel to exorcize some of the demons and answer the questions that always seem to be following him around.

Yes, he’s won a Grand Tour, but it wasn’t the Grand Tour. Maybe 2024, his Tour debut, is the year to rectify that for and with his Soudal-Quick Step team.

france cycling paris nice stage two

With a new team in Bora-Hansgrohe, Roglič will once again be looking to avenge one of the most bitter losses in cycling history: to recapture the Tour de France win that he was just one heartbreaking stage away from in 2020.

That 2020 loss, combined with Vingegaard’s unexpected ascension, pushed Roglič to the fringes of the Grand Boucle. Now, he’ll head into France as the undisputed team leader. And while Roglič’s had a less-than-stellar season thus far, according to Bora’s performance director Rolf Aldag, all eyes are on the Tour for Roglič and his team.

3rd o gran cami ntilde o the historical route 2024 stage 4

Just twenty years old, Ujitdebroeks is heading into the Giro with expectations that are simultaneously high and reasonable. Early reports are that the Visma-Lease a Bike all-rounder will be chasing both stage wins and the pink jersey.

Uijtdebroeks finished eighth in last summer’s Vuelta a España and none of the seven riders ahead of him are slated to start the Giro. Of course, it’ll help his cause that he’ll have Wout van Aert, perhaps the world’s greatest domestique, working for him throughout Italy.

40th vuelta ciclista a la regioacuten de murcia quotcosta calidaquot 2024

Last year, Ben O’Connor asked his French team, Decathlon-AS2R La Mondiale, if he could shift his focus from the Tour de France to the Giro d’Italia. After two consecutive Tours marred by crashes, sickness, and just plain bad luck, O’Connor is hoping to right his ship with a go at the pink jersey.

To the surprise of many, AG2R acquiesced and, as O’Connor has the most WorldTour points of any Giro entrants as of this writing, early returns say they may have made the right move.

50th volta ao algarve em bicicleta 2024 stage 2

Like Pogačar, Ineos Grenadiers’ Geraint Thomas is targeting the Giro/Tour double. He’ll be the team’s sole GC hunter in Italy, as he aims to avenge the pink jersey he lost to Primož Roglič on the penultimate stage of last year’s Giro.

The picture in France gets a bit murkier, as Ineos will be sending Tom Pidcock and Carlos Rodríguez both to the start line in June, making Thomas’s hunt for a second yellow jersey—he won the Tour 2018—a far less straightforward proposition.

82nd paris nice 2024 stage 7

The 27-year-old Bora-Hansgrohe rider raised plenty of eyebrows at the dawn of this season when he said he would let the road decide whether he would race for or against his new teammate—and presumed team leader—Primož Roglič.

Well, the reality of that statement might come to a head sooner rather than later. Vlasov has been looking strong this spring, with his most eye-catching performance coming in Paris-Nice, where he finished fifth overall, seventh in the points classification, and fourth in the KOM race. Roglič, on the other hand, finished that race tenth, eleventh, and tenth in those very same classifications.

4th alula tour 2024 stage 5

Whereas so many riders are bolstered by hype, Simon Yates’s chances for a surprise Tour victory are supported by the fact that he just always seems to be there, near the front, toe-to-toe with the best and the brightest. The Jayco-AlUla leader, who finished fourth overall in 2023, will be making his seventh Tour appearance, so he knows the race as well as just about any of the other contenders. But more than anything, he’ll likely need a few breaks to roll his way.

110th tour de france 2023 stage 5

The 2022 Giro champion is expected to ride in support of Roglič in the Tour. But we all know how mercurial Roglič can be, which means Hindley may be presented with a sudden and unexpected chance to fight for the yellow jersey.

I’m combining these three, as their longshot potential to make a run at GC would depend on Vingeaard and/or Pogačar blowing up or abandoning, neither of which either does very often. Kuss has shown that he has the strength and the grit to win a Grand Tour, but his shot at the yellow jersey would wholly depend on whether or not Vingegaard is at or near the front.

The same goes for Ayuso and Yates, who will both ride in support of Pogačar this summer. Yates finished third in last year’s Tour, proving that he’s much more than just another domestique. Meanwhile, all signs have been pointing to UAE Team Emirates grooming the 21-year-old Ayuso to be something of a 1A to Pogačar.

Speculum Alchemiae

Museum of alchemy.

We would like to invite you to visit one of our partners’ museums, which will reveal to you the time of late medieval when science and mysticism were closely linked, and researchers were looking for a “higher purpose”, which could help them discover the secrets of nature.

Step into the alchemical laboratories located in one of the oldest historical buildings in Prague.

You will have the opportunity to see places, where alchemists produced elixir of eternal youth, Philosopher’s Stone, and non-precious metals changed into gold.

Escape Rooms

Prague’s legendary horror escape room – the chamber.

Atmosphere exactly like from “ The Exorcist ” horror movie classic. Old Victorian House, squeaking floor, weird sounds. Let’s dive into the world that will remind you of the actual lightness of your being. World, where self-moving objects, banging doors, and voices coming from the walls are just the tip of the iceberg. Can you defeat an enemy you can’t see?

Where to find us

What, if not the magic of the “Alchemist Metropolis” could make me as an author of classic horror literature burn all bridges in my home country, just to wander endlessly through cobblestone streets? Since 2019 I have been working mainly as a storyteller and have since completed over 300 performances, worked with the Münchhausen-Museum Bodenwerder – home of the historical Baron – and teach courses on the art of storytelling. To have the opportunity to bring some of these stories closer to Prague’s guests in the city with the most legends in the entire world, where every street has its own Ghost, is a privilege for me.

For as long as I can remember I have been fascinated by stories of centuries past and legends. That lead me to become a profesional historian and a performer. For almost ten years I have been trying to bring the past closer to people of this day through performances of living history, storytelling, theatre, dancing and writing. The art and history one can encounter in the web of old and tiny streets of Prague has enchanted me and made me its resident. My creativity sees this city as a well of endless inspiration. I love to walk in footsteps of people from long ago, touch the walls and objects they touched and tell the stories of their lifes and sometimes their afterlife. I can’t wait to take you on an evening walk through the wonderful city of Prague and share with you the stories that have deeply touched me.

Cruel murders and dark secrets lurk in the dark corners of Vienna's old town . Come, if you dare, and discover the mysteries and eerie legends of Austria's capital.

Mysteries lurking

We'll meet at the indicated time at Helmut Zilk Square to begin this chilling tour of the mysteries and legends in Vienna . Are you ready?

First, we'll stop in front of the Vienna State Opera , an iconic building where we'll remember the expulsion of the Jews by the Nazis and how its structure was left after the bombings of World War II . This and many other gory facts hide behind this building's walls, so keep your eyes sharp.

Then, we'll walk along Augustinerstrasse to find out who Erzsébet Báthory was, nicknamed the 'Blood Countess' , who murdered over 30 young women because of her obsession with retaining her looks.

During this tour, we'll pass past St. Joseph's Square and St. Michael's Square to reach the parish of the Friars Minor , where you can still see the cannonball holes from the war between the Habsburg Monarchy and the Ottoman Empire.

In our next destination, we'll unravel the hidden meaning behind the name of the House of the Five Murders and stop at the Am Hof square, the former site of public executions in the city .

But that's not all! We'll also discover the mysteries lurking at Hoher Markt , the Heiligenkreuzerhof building, the Schönlatern alley,  and the 'bloody alley' , where a massacre from the times of the Knights Templar took place.

Lastly, we'll arrive at St. Stephen's Cathedral - what is the significance of the gargoyles on its façade ? Spirits and legends loom over this imposing temple.

After an hour-and-a-half route, the tour will end at the entrance to the church.

The Boss is back: Bruce Springsteen launches 2024 tour with a joyous Phoenix concert

W hen Rolling Stone invited readers to vote for the greatest live acts of all time in 2011, it’s doubtful the results came as a huge surprise to anyone.

Not only did Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band win the popular vote, they did it without “a close second anywhere in sight."

And that’s because their concerts were — and are , as they reminded us as Springsteen relaunched his postponed world tour on Tuesday, March 19, at Footprint Center in downtown Phoenix — the stuff of legends.

Start the day smarter. Get all the news you need in your inbox each morning.

Springsteen and The E Street Band stretch the boundaries of what it means to prove it all night while chasing moments of transcendence that can range from deeply moving to profoundly silly.

Bruce Springsteen setlist 2024: Every song he sang at Phoenix tour relaunch

Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band relaunched their tour in Phoenix

The last time Springsteen brought the E Street Band to Phoenix , on a tour in 2016 re-exploring “The River,” they turned in a 3½-hour concert whose truly awe-inspiring six-song encore ended in a spirited revival of the Isley Brothers’ “Shout.”

The fans who flocked to Footprint Center on Tuesday night were on a pilgrimage to see the relaunch of the E Street Band’s first tour since then — a tour cut short in 2023 as Springsteen was treated for peptic ulcer disease, a potentially serious gastrointestinal condition.

Springsteen turned 74 in late September 2023. Four days later, he broke the news that he’d been forced to postpone all remaining concerts booked for 2023 “out of an abundance of caution.”

Naturally, I went into the Springsteen concert on Tuesday night assuming I might feel the need to make allowances for age and health and everything those words imply, especially when used that close together.

But the Springsteen who rocked that arena in Phoenix on Tuesday didn’t need my well-intentioned qualifiers.

He 'just kind of shot through the roof': How Phoenix radio made Bruce Springsteen the Boss

Springsteen brought his A-game to the relaunch of his world tour

The man brought his A-game at the helm of an 18-member E Street Band (or 17 if you’re not counting Springsteen as a member of that band, which seems a bit ridiculous) in a breathless journey through their glory days with an energy that only seemed to flag in the course of their nearly three-hour performance when the song itself demanded it.

He’s certainly scaled back on the physicality of his performance style.

There were no bent-knee slides across the stage. No leaping to rival a young Pete Townshend. But the sense of showmanship remains, from the playful rapport of Springsteen's onstage antics with the members of the E Street Band to the charming self-awareness of his dance moves to that moment toward the end where he tore his shirt open for no apparent reason other than to entertain.

His voice has aged a bit since the first time he followed that iconic shout of “1-2-3-4” with “the highway’s jammed with broken heroes on a last-chance power drive.” But he’s too good a singer to let that compromise the essence of his vocals, settling into a more conversational delivery on “Born to Run” that made it feel like you were hearing those same lyrics for the first time after knowing them for nearly 50 years while also sidestepping the high notes.

Springsteen and the E Street Band are on a search-and-rescue mission

My favorite Springsteen memory is the E Street Band reunion show I saw in 1999 at the Meadowlands in Jersey, where the Boss announced that they were on a “search-and-rescue mission” to regenerate, rejuvenate and otherwise rekindle the spark that is “the majesty, the mystery and the ministry of rock ‘n’ roll.”

Of course they were.

And 25 years later? Springsteen seemed as committed as ever to that search-and-rescue mission, from the time he and his bandmates made their entrance one-by-one to set the tone with “Lonesome Day,” one of three songs they played from “The Rising,” to the raucous rendition of “Twist and Shout” that brought the encore to a joyous climax, having been requested by an 18-year-old fan whose sign said this was his first Springsteen concert.

That kid obviously picked a good night to be introduced to what it means to witness Springsteen in his element, leading the E Street Band in a 29-song overview of his career.

Highlights ranged from 'Born to Run' to 'Dancing in the Dark'

The setlist made its way through countless classics, reaching back to his first album, “Greetings From Asbury Park, N.J.,” for a loose-limbed “Spirit in the Night,” and touching on a number of the most beloved songs on “Born to Run” and “Darkness on the Edge of Town” as well as “No Surrender,” “Dancing in the Dark” and other crowd-pleasing highlights of “Born in the U.S.A.,” a 17-times-platinum mainstream-saturating exercise in world domination that remains his most successful album.

They also dusted off a handful of the soul and R&B songs Springsteen covered on his latest album, 2022’s “Only the Strong Survive,” and three songs from his latest album of original material, “Letter To You,” including the solo acoustic version of “I’ll See You In My Dreams” that brought the encore to a haunted finish.

But what made that concert special went beyond what songs they played.

The E Street Band remain a force of nature, despite the loss of Clarence Clemons — “the Big Man” as his joining of the band is celebrated even now in “Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out” — and Danny Federici, who played organ, glockenspiel and accordion from the time they put the band together in Belmar, New Jersey, until his death in 2008.

Springsteen honored their memory during “Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out," during which their images were flashed across the screens above the stage.

The new, expanded E Street Band was brilliant

The current edition of the E Street Band is a three-guitar army with Springsteen, the Valley's own Nils Lofgren and Steven Van Zandt taking turns in the spotlight, two great keyboard players (Roy Bittan and touring member Charles Giordano), violinist Soozie Tyrell, the stellar rhythm section of drummer Max Weinberg and bassist Garry Tallent, and 44-year-old Jake Clemons still doing an excellent job of honoring his uncle, Clarence Clemons, who died in 2011, with the swagger (and physical stature) one would need to even try to fill those shoes.

There’s a flashiness to Lofgren’s soloing that’s undeniable while Springsteen squeezes out the sparks in solos that rely more on the power of each individual note and how it’s phrased, as evidenced on “Prove It All Night,” in particular, while indulging in some low-end twang Duane Eddy would’ve envied on a fantastic “Letter to You.”

The E Street Band’s ranks are further fleshed out in their current incarnation by four backup singers, a four-man horn squad and percussionist Anthony Almonte.

It was quite the crowded stage.

Springsteen kept the banter to a minimum in Phoenix

Springsteen's legend is based in part on his conversational approach to showmanship, as evidenced by the classic monologues captured on “Live/1975–85.”

But he kept the chit-chat to a minimum for much of Tuesday’s concert.

Taking the stage in a red-and-black flannel shirt with the sleeves rolled extra high, he greeted the fans with a quick “Good evening, Arizona. 1-2-3-4” and barely said another word until he’d made it through “The Promised Land,” the 10th song of the night.

Springsteen eulogized his teenage bandmate George Theiss

His first big monologue was 14 songs deep, after “Mary’s Place,” when he introduced the poignant “Last Man Standing” with the story of George Theiss, a bandmate he met at 15.

“It was 1965,” he began.

“I was 15 years old and I had been playing guitar for about six months when one summer afternoon, I heard a knock on my door and it was George Theiss, a school friend of mine, and he was looking for a guitar player to audition for his band.”

Springsteen passed the audition in a “shotgun shack” and “embarked on the greatest adventure of my life,” he said. “I played in my first real rock ‘n’ roll band and it lasted for three years. As kids. Three years! That’s a lifetime for teenagers.”

Fast forward 50 years and a much older Springsteen is visiting Theiss on his deathbed as his former bandmate is dying of cancer.

“He only had a few days to live,” Springsteen said. “And I realized that his passing would leave me as the last living member of that first band, the Castiles.”

Springsteen spoke of 'death's final and lasting gift to us'

Death brings a certain clarity, Springsteen said. “Death’s final and lasting gift to us, the living, is you get an expanded vision of the life you can live yourself. George’s death made me realize, again, just how important it is to try and live every moment you’re here.”

And with that, the stage was set for “Last Man Standing,” a haunted highlight of his latest album of original material, “Letter to You.”

The tribute to his fallen bandmate carried over into “Backstreets,” one of several emotional highlights that ventured into existential territory.

He didn’t mention the loss of his mother, Adele Ann Springsteen, who died in January at 98. But there’s no doubt that she was on his mind.

Even "Night Shift," the Commodores cover from "Only the Strong Survive," felt like it tied into the existential theme.

After bringing the show to a crowd-pleasing climax in an encore packed with some of Springsteen’s most enduring calling cards, from “Born to Run” to “Rosalita (Come Out Tonight),” “Glory Days,” an anthemic “Dancing in the Dark” and “Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out,” Springsteen sent the other members of the E Street Band away after a joyous “Twist and Shout” to end the night with a solo acoustic rendition of “I’ll See You in My Dreams.”

"I'll see you in my dreams," he sang. "We'll meet and live and laugh again. I'll see you in my dreams, yeah, around the river bend. For death is not the end and I'll see you in my dreams."

Springsteen apologized for postponing his Phoenix concert

But first, he said he was sorry he had to reschedule his world tour.

“First, I want to apologize if there was any discomfort because we had to move the show last time,” he said. “I had a mother (expletive) of a bellyache. I hope we didn’t inconvenience you too much.”

Then after making a plea on behalf of St. Mary’s Food Bank , he brought the concert to an existential close with “I’ll See You in My Dreams,” a suitably haunted reflection on the friends he lost along the way.

It was a fitting close to a concert steeped in existential musings by a legend who invited us to take that long walk on his first release with “Growin’ Up.”

More than 50 years later, Springsteen is still growin’ up, inviting us to come along. It’s a beautiful thing if you’re willing to let your guard down and experience the ride.

Your guide will tell you the legends that surround the famous Cathedral of Notre Dame, will detail a dark matter that caused so much blood to flow in the Middle Ages. In front of the Tour Saint-Jacques in the meanders of alchemy with Nicolas Flamel, a scientist researcher is experimenting the transformation of lead into gold. Then, near the Place Sainte-Opportune, you will discover the narrow and dark rue Courtalon, where once, in the time of Louis XIV, a dark affair took place. Facing Saint-Jacques Tower , discover how reality beats fiction, and in the heart of Rue de la Ferronnerie, learn how “Le Vert Gallant” died. Your unusual guided tour will end at the astrological and astronomical tower of the Queen Black. The legend tells that even today, during the stormy nights, the ghost of the queen's mage returns to haunt the Tower …

IFC’s Late Night With The Devil has scared up the distributor’s largest opening weekend ever with an estimated $2.8+ million on 1.043 screens, coming in at no. 6 at the domestic box office.

The Image Nation Abu Dhabi and Spooky Pictures pic premiered at SXSW and has since played Fantasia Festival in Montreal, Sydney Film Festival, BIFAN in Korea, Sitges, London Film Festival, and Toronto After Dark. Cameron and Colin won for Best Screenplay at Sitges.

“We knew from the first material we introduced into the market that we had something really special and people were kind of gravitating to the concept of the film early on,” Scott Shooman, head of AMC Film Group, told Deadline. The weekend follows a strong run with The Taste Of Things and Stopmotion as the distributor hits its stride after a period of cost cutting at parent AMC Networks and exodus of top executives that started a year ago.

“We are excited that so many people came out to see this horror film,” Shooman said. “ Late Night With The Devil continues to showcase that there is still potential for highly reviewed, intelligent auteur films in movie theaters across all genres.”

Utopia’s Femme grossed $15k and took the top spot at IFC Center in NYC, one of the distributor’s strongest opening to date with The Sweet East, Holy Spider, Vortex, Sick of Myself and Meet Me in the Bathroom (all of which opened at IFC Center to #1 rankings as well). The Berlinale lauded, British Independent Film Award-winning queer revenge thriller Directed by Sam H. Freeman and Ng Choon Ping stars George Mackay and Nathan Stewart-Jarrett. Adds the Grove in LA next week ahead of a larger national expansion on April 5.

Noting Utopia and Fathom Events special presentation of Hal Needham’s remastered cult-BMX-classic  Rad  grossed over $500k for a one-night release on Thursday 3/21, paired with a new Q&A moderated by Rad superfan Ed Helms. It was the films 5th theatrical re-release in the last four years with Rad having grossed over $1.3M theatrically for Utopia.

Cartilage Films’ indie comedy Free Time by Ryan Martin Brown grossed $6k at the Quad Cinema in NYC. Shot in just 10 days in Brooklyn, the film had multiple sold out shows over the weekend, including in-person appearances by Brown alongside star Colin Burgess. Jasper Basch’s rebooted label said the gross represents the best opening weekend gross for a U.S. film at the Quad Cinema this year.

“Ryan and his collaborators have created a movie that’s both funny and insightful, and seeing diverse audiences come out to the theater this weekend and respond favorably to it has been wonderful. The positive feedback for the film reinforces our belief that a great movie of any size can resonate with people when given an opportunity,” said Basch. Expands to Los Angeles next week, adds markets throughout the spring.

Riddle of Fire from Yellow Veil Pictures & Vinegar Syndrome took in an estimated $24lk in 28 theaters. Weston Razooli’s whimsical neo-fairytale follows three rascal children run afoul of an enigmatic coven.

Music Box Films’ and Brainstorm Media opened Ivan Sen’s Limbo at the Film Forum and the Laemmle’s Monica Film Center to a gross of $5.8k. The film, which played Berlin and TIFF, expands next week to other top market including Chicago and Seattle. Follows Travis Hurley (Simon Baker), a detective, whoarrives in the remote outback town of Limbo to investigate the cold case murder of local Indigenous girl Charlotte Hayes 20 years ago.

Respawn gives first ‘apex legends’ security update since major hack.

Apex Legends

Respawn briefly went dark in the wake of a shocking hack that gave Apex Legends pro players cheats during the NA Finals, causing the entire event to be postponed until the security issue could be sorted. And it is not fully sorted yet.

For the first time since the hack, Respawn has not given an update on what’s going on and the steps they’re taking to make sure things get back on track. The statement reads:

“On Sunday, a few professional Apex Legends player accounts were hacked during an ALGS event. Game and player security are our highest priorities, which is why we paused the competition to address the issue immediately. Our teams have deployed the first of a layered series of updates to protect the Apex Legends player community and create a secure experience for everyone. Thank you for your patience.”

There was not further commentary on some of the more specific, rumored details of the hack, including reports that this was an RCE remote hack that actually gained control of these player’s computers, reportedly executed by a trolling hacker who had been harassing pros for months.

Before Respawn issued this message, Easy Anti-Cheat, which Apex Legends uses, came out with its own statement that this was not something on their end:

“We have investigated recent reports of a potential RCE issue within Easy Anti-Cheat. At this time - we are confident that there is no RCE vulnerability within EAC being exploited. We will continue to work closely with our partners for any follow up support needed.”

Best High-Yield Savings Accounts Of 2024

Best 5% interest savings accounts of 2024.

The implication that this is a vulnerability that could in theory affect any player until it’s fully fixed does not seem to have deterred most players from continuing to play. On Steam, there is a drop off, but a relatively small one. The game has gone from peaking around 440K concurrent players most days to now being around 380K or so. Noticeable, but it’s not like everyone has just stopped playing. The danger to the average user may be low, but we still don’t know enough about what this hack is to say that for sure. Plenty of players seem okay pressing on regardless.

This was one of the most absurd, embarrassing things to ever happen in an esports pro match, across any game. Respawn needs to get a handle on this and give as much of an explanation as they can about what happened, what was potentially accessed and what they’re doing to prevent something this insane from happening again in the future.

  • nghianguyen825 0 contributions 5.0 of 5 bubbles Paris with little ones Amazing company with amazing people! Thank you so much for helping us plan a wonderful vacation. Traveling with a 2 and 5 year old can be stressful. Therefore we decided to ask My Private Paris in helping us with our 7 days stay. Communications were detailed, prompt, and professional in every way. Alexandre created the perfect itinerary based on our needs. We had a hiccup with the weather on one of the tours. Even though it was last minute, Alexandre worked hard to come up with a plan B for us. All of our guides and drivers were professional, kind, and patient with us and our children. I can’t thank them enough. So again, a big Merci Beaucoup to Alexandre, Marijke, Christina, Raphaelle, Romain, Dom, Vick, and Pascal! We had the best time, and we hope to see you again soon. Our kids said their favorite part of the whole trip was the walking tour of Paris with Lucien, who tailored our experience and engaged with our two teenagers. Thanks for making this the highlight of the trip, which exceeded the Pyramids, Luxor, and King Tut’s tomb. Read more Written March 16, 2024

It was terrific to be able to put it all in context during our visit. The guide was very friendly and the pick-up/Drop-off was flawless (in a nice Mercedes). It was, unexpectedly, the highlight of our romantic trip to Paris. Read more Written March 16, 2024
  • astaire4 0 contributions 5.0 of 5 bubbles Fantastic Private Tour with Olek How do rate beyond Exceeded our Expectations!! Olek was amazing, passionate and extremely knowledgeable (educated) about the Louvre, from its history, architecture and art. We started outside with an overview of the architectural history and then entered away from the crowds. Hint - January is a brilliant month to visit the Louvre. There are no crowds. The Mona Lisa gallery ALWAYS has crowds, that was not our focus. But what made this experience is the passion and fun Olek brings his tour, he continuously checks in with you (it was just my husband and I) about what you know or may know and fills in the holes with facts and fun. We saw a lot, much more than I expected, but never felt rushed. He gave us time to observe. I have avoided the Louvre for 20 years but so happy I arranged this tour and got Olek. I will definitely book him and this tour again!! Read more Written January 8, 2024

Versailles with Jean was a lovely day with areas not seen previously. Umberto at Fontainebleau super in a tight schedule and very attentive to our individual needs (transport for our son back to Paris as we proceeded to Champagne). Lucie was contracted through My Private Paris and our private champagne tour was excellent. Would be happy to use again on our next trip. Thanks to Manon for organizing all. Bisous! • atrevida 0 contributions 5.0 of 5 bubbles Very happy repeat client We enjoyed our tours with My Private Paris so much in 2017 that we booked with them again when we returned to Paris this year. We were lucky to have Lucien as our guide for a tour of the Rodin Museum and Musee d'Orsay and a second tour of the Louvre for our family group. We have been to both the Orsay and the Louvre before, including with My Private Paris, but each time is a new revelation. We greatly appreciated Lucien's historical perspective on painting and sculpture and definitely walked away from both tours with a much deeper appreciation and understanding of each piece we discussed in detail. My mother and sister-in-law are not really into art museums at all, and it speaks volumes about his skill as a guide that they were enthralled the entire time for both tours! • Asianexpert 0 contributions 5.0 of 5 bubbles Great experience, very personalized tour I had booked this tour with My Private Paris on very short notice for my parents and myself - to give them a unique Paris experience in a private car, suited to their (limited) interests and ability to walk. Florent was such a great guide, full of knowledge and historical context. It was a pleasure getting Paris explained by him and to understand so much more about Paris. I had been in Paris many times before, but never learned so much about the city and its people. The tour itself was extremely well organized and the car superb. Read more Written December 22, 2023

There were many good points, but the main thing was how responsive he was to what we wanted to see/learn about. Humberto asked us what we wanted to see before entering and he worked those areas in while also broadening our horizons a bit by taking us to other areas as well. We’ve been home for over a month and are still talking about what we learned. Cannot recommend highly enough. Read more Written December 19, 2023
