The Italian Dream

I enjoyed the cities we visited and the information and background history was well presented. The hotel were nice and our transportation to those cities was great. My concern, being a solo traveler, was there were a couple of times I travel alone through cities. One in particular was in Florence. I chose not to go on the excursion to Pisa since I had been to the city before. Our guide gave me a map and instructions on how to return to the hotel from our location. I asked if there were others not going to Pisa and I didn't receive a definitive answer. It was the next day that I found out that four other traveler did not go. I followed the map & instructions given me and I did reached the hotel, but I felt very uncomfortable traveling alone through that city. The second time was the last day in Rome, many of the travelers felt uncomfortable on securing transportation or finding their way from the Vatican to the Coliseum and returning to their hotel. That day I traveled with a group but we still felt uncomfortable getting through the city to our destinations especially at the end of the tour when we would return to our hotel. A couple of us were in different hotels and that had us traveling alone through the city. For the future, please give my concerns some thought especially since you promote safe travel for those traveling solo.

Small Group Sicily Food & Wine Tour (Maximum 8 Guests)

I can’t say enough good things about our experience in Sicily thanks to Mossimo and his team. Excellent, informative tour guides…Denise, Carlos, Antonio and Sem. The cooking class may have been the highlight, but all of the activities were fun and the pace of the tour, planned activities/free time mix was perfect. Will definitely recommend!

Italian Discovery

We saw a lot of great places. The only reason not a five has to do with the information not received before the trip about optional side events offered by the tour such as the gondola ride. We scheduled several events on our own ahead of time since they were not included in the package. We would rather have gone with the group but didn't know about the possibility ahead of time. We also would have liked to have the same tour guide throughout the entire tour as well as the same group of people. The group kept changing and pick ups were complicated. Transportation back to the hotel was not a part of some of the tour and in our opinion should be included in the basic package. It is difficult to figure out bus/train systems in a foreign country and we should not have added expenses to be taken back to our hotels.

Great experience. Your guides Manuel and Sabrina were excellent and very knowledgeable about the areas they covered. Only complaint is no wifi on board buses. Would be handy to book additional tours etc on the go.

Tour was fabulous. Our tour leader Luca was amazing - incredibly knowledgeable, organized and helpful. Our tour group of 14 got along well and we really enjoyed each other’s company. Luca organized an optional dinner each evening and all opted to attend every dinner. We saw amazing sites and ate fabulous food. I would love to do another G Adventures tour.

The walking tour was challenging in a good way. ur stay at Hotel Due Torri was an amazing experience and a brilliant introduction to italian culture, food and way of life, as well as relaxing by the pool after each day's walk. Our guide Paulo was the best, so informative and knowledgeable and patient and encouraging.

Sicilian Secrets - Tour of Sicily 8 days 2024

The tour was fantastic. Angelo was an awesome tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and was always striving to please. He made us feel like one big family exploring Sicily together. The only criticism I have of the tour is that Angelo should have finished the tour with us. He finished up a day before the tour ended and we were given a different tour guide. Our tour of Puglia was made all the better by our wonderful tour guide Sonia who took care of our every need and want. Sonia was organized, yet spontaneous and fun and made sure that each and every member of the tour was acknowledged and made to feel important. It was obvious that Sonia had researched each destination, allowing us a good start on arrival. As this was our first organized tour we were interested in seeing whether we could be ‘tour people’ and the answer was a resounding YES. We plan to look for more Tour Radar experiences in the future. The tour itself was amazing! A lot of value for money. The tour guide did seem to be a bit annoyed at us at the end when we wanted to get transport back to the hotel, after walking over half a marathon. This is notable considering a few members had lower body injuries/ health concerns. Other than that, I really loved my trip. I made friends for life, memories I’ll cherish for years
