Watch out: the year of Gloria is just beginning.
Starting in late July, four-time Grammy winner Sam Smith will take off on the U.S. leg of their international “Gloria The Tour” in support of their new album “Gloria,” set for release on Jan. 27.
On the run, Smith has huge shows at Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Arena (Aug. 2), and New York City’s Madison Square Garden (Aug. 8) penciled into their tour itinerary.
They can’t wait to return stateside for their first official U.S. tour since 2018, either.
“This is going to be so special; it’s been too long, sailors,” they shared on Instagram . “Can’t wait to see all your gorgeous faces and celebrate the era of GLORIA together.”
And if you can’t wait to hear Smith’s new music as well as classic tracks like “Stay With Me” and “Latch,” tickets can be secured as early as today.
Although inventory isn’t available on Ticketmaster until Friday, Jan. 13, fans who want to ensure they have tickets ahead of time can purchase on sites like Vivid Seats before the on-sale officially begins.
Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.
They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure, and tickets will be delivered before the event.
Pop star Jessie Reyez will serve as Smith’s support act.

Sam Smith new music
As noted earlier, Smith is releasing their latest album, “Gloria,” on Jan. 27, 2023.
Although not much is known about “Gloria,” it’s lead single, “Unholy,” featuring Kim Petras, proved to be a smash in 2022.
The song spent three weeks atop the Billboard Top 100 chart and was deemed the “ultimate party anthem” by Esquire ,
You can check out the spicy music video below.
The record will be Smith’s first since 2020’s “Love Goes,” which featured collaborations with Burna Boy, Demi Lovato and Calvin Harris.
Sam Smith opening act
Joining Smith on all but one of their tour dates is 31-year-old budding pop superstar Jessie Reyez.
For those not familiar with Reyez’s music, she’s set to appear on Smith’s forthcoming album but has also made a splash of her own with mega singles “Promises,” “Figures,” and “Imported.”
Her 2022 record “Yessie” covers heavy topics too — “heartbreak, confidence and knowing your worth” are all significant themes touched upon in the music, according to Complex .

Sam Smith's Gloria 2023 tour setlist in full
Sam Smith is taking their Unholy show on the road.
After a sterling 2022 - which saw Kim Petras collaboration Unholy light up TikTok and became Sam's eighth UK Number 1 single - the start of the year saw Sam issue their fourth LP Gloria.
Debuting at Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart in January, Gloria became Sam's third chart-topping album in the UK , and the ultimate testament to a record that sees Sam collaborate with the likes of Calvin Harris, Koffee and Jessie Reyez on a body of work that truly sees them step into themselves, fully informed by club and queer culture, as well as their most dance-orientated work of pop yet.
Given this, the Gloria Tour, which started yesterday (April 12) in Sheffield, is a hell of a show. Split into three parts, Love, Beauty and Sex (how very Natalia Kills), the setlist takes skipping steps through tracks from all of Sam's albums, slowly ramping up in tempo and pace, before a glorious bacchanal finale.

hey occ, can we cut down on the sam smith articles a bit? everytime you post about them it gets full of hate speech.
and by the way, their decision on including stay with me on their set list is… questionable. the song aged badly for having the line “i still need love cause i’m just a man”. how will sam perform that line? will they tweak it?
Where is Money on My Mind on the Tracklist set that was #1 Single and La La La with Naughty Boy #1 too, those two tracks was really big and in his early career success.
Smith Smyth
He's just vile! And using the term superstar is disrespectful to actual superstars. He is an attention seeking freak.
That is a disgusting, vile comment. I will share it with Sam's team.
He's not the only one who knows it. Did you see the video recently of the Irish woman shouting at him in New York what he is? He's a despicable creature
Oh and by the way have you any idea how pathetic and woke your comment looks? Go and cry you pathetic baby. Grow a pair idiot!
Well said man. He's a pathetic loser. The kind of child who would run and tell the teacher for chewing gum. Freak! Lol.
Yes he needs throwing in the woodchipper with R Kelly that guy from Lost Prophets and Gary Glitter
Anyone who targets children and young people with mental illnesses the way he does deserves the abuse.
aye, i blocked the guy. i’m not even a big fan of sam smith, they’re too over the top for me, but his obsession with them seems super weird to me. i can tell he’s making alts to talk to himself so he can “back up” his invalid points further. i am quite literally transgender so to see so much hate go to anyone who isn’t cis is disgusting. all we want to do is live and have equal rights. have an amazing week :)

Sam Smith shocks concertgoers with wardrobe blunder as singer 'splits trousers' live on stage
Sam Smith took to the stage during the Lollapalooza Argentina festival this week as part of the singer's Gloria tour.
However, concertgoers walked away with more than they bargained for after the Unholy hitmaker's trousers split mid-performance.
During the performance, the 31-year-old seemed to get lost in the music a bit too much and ended up splitting the item of clothing.
Instead of being embarrassed by the incident, Smith laughed off the unfortunate accident and exclaimed: “I’ve split my trousers!” – before giving the front row a wiggle.
Despite the slight wardrobe mishap, the Money On My Mind singer pulled off another successful concert and left fans taking to social media with praise for the vocals.
Smith, who identifies as non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, isn’t shy when it comes to rocking some strange looks - and wardrobe blunders aren't out of the norm for the singer.
Smith walked the Vivienne Westwood runway earlier this month and left onlookers shocked with a peek at their derriere.
The singer has been in the industry since 2012 after featuring on the single Latch, with Disclosure.
Smith's success hasn’t come without its controversy though with several performances in recent years coming under fire for their messaging and symbolism - including a performance at last year's BRITs.
Critics have continued to slam the singer's performances, and claimed throughout the Gloria tour the stage shows have been “vulgar and satanic”.
In the early days of the tour, Smith was seen performing with devil horns, skimpy underwear and nipple tassels.
Smith has combatted and ignored critics previously, however, and broke down in tears at the support concertgoers exhibited during a gig in Canada .
After a performance in Montreal, Canada last year, they penned on social media: “Dear Montréal, when I was in my early teens, a dvd of Rihannas girl gone bad tour came out and the show was at the bell centre.
"I watched it religiously. I was totally obsessed. Deep down it was my life’s mission to get to that room and to sing on that stage.

"My first time doing a show on that stage was at 21 years old with the In the lonely hour tour and it was my favourite show of the entire tour. You’ve just done it again.
"Last night made me feel a type of way I don’t think I’ve ever felt on stage. I’ve never felt so much love or heard an applause like that for myself ever.
"It makes every hard and challenging moment so worth it. The love for music and art in Montréal is astounding.
"I’m deeply deeply grateful to you all. You made that confused 14 year old queer kid watching @badgalriri from a TV in a tiny village in Englands dreams come true last night." (sic)
