Dave's Brewery Tours - Sydney

Dave's Brewery Tours are all about taking you to where good craft beer is made and where good things are happening.

They bring together people wanting to taste and experience the best local beer with those who make it. They want to bring people closer to the toil and strife of what it takes to produce fine craft beer.

To them, it's more than the art and science of brewing or the mechanics of a micro-brewery, it's the stories, the legends, the scars of effort and devotion to doing something different. It's about connecting people who are passionate about what they consume with those who are equally as passionate about what they produce.

They promise that you will have a great day out, meet some interesting people, and taste some amazing locally produced craft beers along the way. What could be better than that?

Quick Details

Clock When: Daily

• Central (St Laurence Church – 812 George St, Sydney)
• Circular Quay (The Obelisk, Macquarie Place Park cnr Bridge & Loftus St, Sydney)

Checkmark Start: Pick up times: Central 7:25am, Circular Quay 7:45am

Check Bubble End: Drop off is at your pick up location with an approximate time: 6:00 pm

BLUE MOUNTAINS FROM SYDNEY

Roos, Blues and Views visits an Australian animal park first (before the kids scare the animals), then into the Blue Mountains for a short, easy walk to a lookout for some dramatic views and informative local commentary from your Dave for the day.

A cafe style lunch awaits in the town of Leura or Katoomba, finished with a sweet treat from a local producer.

After lunch we head to Scenic World with a ride on the world’s steepest railway down to the rainforest floor. The Dave will take guests on a short walk through the rainforest floor, then it’s back up the Cableway with a short time for the gift shop before riding the Skyway across the valley to Katoomba.

From the Katoomba side of the Skyway, guests can choose to walk the 1km Prince Henry Cliff Walk to Echo Point or jump on the bus and drive with the guide. The final stop of the day is to visit the 3 Sisters when the light is at its best and the crowds and the fog have gone.

We’ll then head back to Sydney for drop offs at aboout 6pm.

What To Bring

• Enclosed walking shoes (Thongs, sandals, high heels, clogs are not suitable)
• A jacket (it can be cold even in warmer months)
• A bottle of water
• Money to buy any extras such as souvenirs & snacks
• A sense of humour or at least the ability to appreciate bad jokes
• A couple of killer songs selections in case you get called on to add to the tour playlist

*SOMETIMES THINGS CHANGE – The weather is a very large factor in how this tour operates and unfortunately, as yet, we don’t control it.  Because of this, we may need to amend our itinerary to suit the conditions on the day. Whilst these changes do happen, we do reserve the right to make them and we will do everything we can to operate the tour as described.
