It’s funny because Spain is my favorite country in the world I go there almost every weekend!! I enjoyed the Quiz.

Travel quizzes are such fun! According to this I’m supposed to be headed off to the wilds of Africa! I’ve only been there once and for way too short of a time. I’d love to see more. Maybe I should take the quiz’ advice?

OMG! Loved this quiz! I got Japan and that is one of my favorite destinations so the quiz was spot on! MY daughter loves Japan too as she loves Japanese cuisine and could seriously have sushi train every single day and its so catered for kids with all their cute toys.

Wow, I took the quiz, and it was fantastic. I should travel to Namibia according the result, but I don’t where was this place exactly located in the Map. Great quiz! Seems like I’m heading to Spain, but that’s just fine – I like Spain. Looking forward to some tapas and sangria.

There were a couple of questions that I answered with one of the possibilities although the others would have been just as suitable. However, the result – which is Thailand – is great! I had a great time in Thailand – much better than expected – and I intend to go back as soon as my daughter is ready to come with me (for – not strictly – once in my life no solo travel….)

To begin with, you need to consider what mode of transportation you would like to travel by. You have many options to choose from. It can be by bus, train, car, ship, or plane.

Each of them has its advantages and disadvantages. Suppose you want to be able to enjoy great views while on the road, bet on the bus or train. Passing through various terrains, you will have time to admire the magnificent landscapes and smaller and more major towns, and at the same time, you will have time for incredible relaxation. This form of travel is much cheaper than traveling by car.

If you care about time, traveling by car will be ideal. In this form of transportation, it is a good idea to have a substitute to replace you while driving, if necessary. A distant trip can prove quite tiring, so a break from driving may do you good!

An airplane is the fastest form of transportation; with it, distant destinations turn out to be within reach! You have to reckon with the fact that the cost will undoubtedly be much higher than when using other means of transportation. For this, the views during the trip are sure to be stunning! So where should you travel?

Before  choosing a travel destination , decide whether you are going exclusively alone, with a partner, friends, or family. Each of these trips will be different from the others. It would be best if you were careful when choosing a location to match it to the nature of the trip properly. If you are going for two, it might be a good idea to stay in a lovely place by a lake, where you can go for romantic walks. It is also possible that you are quite a partying couple and it will suit you better to relax in a big city, where there are always some attractions.

Depending on your plans, some of you will be able to spend your time basking on the beach by the sea itself, and the rest of you can take advantage of the opportunities the city offers. • What do you think about traditional handicrafts? I really love the superb quality of handmade items As long as it is practical, I am not fussed whether it is handmade or not I do not understand why people still waste so much time and energy on such things
• Are you interested in local architecture when visiting a city? Architecture is almost the only reason I travel I would admire it but I do not particularly understand it I have no interest in architecture at all

• Would you bring your camera with you when travelling? Of course. What is the point of all the gorgeous views if you cannot capture it Yes, but mainly to create souvenirs for myself and those who travel with me I have no interest in taking any pictures
• Do you normally drink alcohol? I cannot imagine my life without alcohol Sometimes. I tend to enjoy the moment more when I am tipsy I do not drink at all
• A super popular restaurant just opened up in your neighbourhood. What do you do? I cannot wait to try it! If one day I have no clue what to eat for dinner, I will try this place out I could not be bothered
• Do you visit the bookstore often? It's my absolute favourite place. I could stay there forever Sometimes. I would pop in if I passed by I would much rather buy books online

Affording luxury vacations may seem challenging, but with strategic planning and financial discipline, you can make your dream trips a reality.

Here are four tips to help you afford luxury vacations:

1. Create a Dedicated Travel Fund:

Establish a separate savings account specifically for your travel goals. Regularly contribute to this fund, treating it as a non-negotiable part of your budget.

Automate transfers to ensure consistent savings over time. This dedicated fund will accumulate, allowing you to finance luxurious vacations without affecting your day-to-day expenses.

2. Prioritize and Budget Smartly:

Identify your spending priorities and allocate resources accordingly. Evaluate your current lifestyle and identify areas where you can cut back or make adjustments to redirect funds towards travel.

This might include reducing discretionary spending, cooking at home more often, or finding more cost-effective alternatives for certain expenses.

By budgeting wisely, you can allocate more funds to your travel goals.

3. Take Advantage of Rewards Programs and Deals:

Leverage travel rewards programs , credit card points, and loyalty programs to maximize your travel budget.

Another key to checking vacations off of your travel wish list is finding enough time off work. As someone who loves to travel, but has a full time job, I’m very familiar with this struggle.

Here are some tips for optimizing your paid time off work:

1. Combine PTO with Holidays and Weekends: Strategically plan your time off around public holidays or weekends to create extended breaks without using too many vacation days.

For example, if a public holiday falls on a Friday or Monday, take the adjacent day off to enjoy a four-day weekend.

2. Batch Your Time Off: Consider taking longer breaks by grouping your PTO days together. By strategically selecting consecutive days off, you can create extended vacations without using all your allotted vacation time at once.

3. Take Half-Days: Instead of using a full day of PTO, consider taking a half-day. I often use half-days for afternoon flights to get to a destination without burning a full 8 hours.

4. Explore Flexible Work Arrangements: If your workplace allows it, explore flexible work arrangements such as compressed workweeks or remote work.

This can give you the flexibility to create long weekends or schedule time off without compromising your overall productivity.

As we welcome in the New Year, notable travel media outlets such as AFAR, National Geographic and Lonely Planet have been curating lists of the best places to visit in 2023. Natural Habitat Adventures operates trips in 20 of these bucket-list destinations, from Australia to Zambia. Our partners Lindblad Expeditions, DuVine and Classic Journeys venture to other top travel spots, including Egypt and the Loire Valley.

1. Tasmania & Victoria, Australia

In December of 2022, I returned home from one of the greatest adventures in all my travels: Australia South: Tasmania, Kangaroo Island & the Great Ocean Road . Tasmania stood out in particular for spectacular wildlife encounters, especially Cradle Mountain-Lake St. Clair National Park, located in the heart of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area. Wombats, echidnas, pademelons and wallabies grazed beside us along the boardwalks at our lakeside lodge. On night walks, we caught sight of ringtail and brushtail possums under a sea of stars in the southern sky. We also had the rare opportunity to watch a Tasmanian devil feeding and see both Eastern and spotted-tail quolls at a conservation sanctuary.

AFAR’s Krisanne Fordham raves, “If you’re into nature, almost half of Tasmania’s land mass lies in national parks and World Heritage areas, so you’ve got glittering alpine lakes, rivers, incredible snowcapped peaks like Cradle Mountain and Mount Wellington,” which towers over the capital city of Hobart. This lush and secluded island state is a nature lover’s dream.

In Hobart, we stay at an elegant Victorian estate overlooking the harbor. Sample the best of Tasmanian food and wine before walking to the Royal Botanical Gardens, which burst to life with multi-hued lupines, rose-clad arbors and pink waterlily ponds.

“The waterfront city of Hobart has undergone a renaissance in the last decade, attracting both domestic and overseas tourists. The city offers plenty of opportunities to connect with art, food, nature and architecture,” comments Fodor’s Katie Dundas.

We fly across the Bass Strait to Tasmania from the state of Victoria. Journeying down the Great Ocean Road along the south-west coast of Victoria, we stop at scenic overlooks where fur seals lounge and gaze out on imposing limestone sea stacks, including the famed Twelve Apostles. On walks through eucalyptus woodlands and giant tree fern forests, we spot koalas, emus and superb fairywrens, and seek out kangaroos, potoroos and bandicoots at Cape Otway’s Conservation Ecology Center. A highlight is a bushwalk with an Aboriginal guide, where we sample native edible plants and learn about traditional medicines.

2. Torres del Paine National Park, Chile

The granite spires of Torres del Paine, bathed in rosy alpenglow, are majestic to behold. 5. New Zealand

New Zealand is ready to welcome adventure travelers from around the world. “After a stringent lockdown, New Zealand has at last dropped all travel restrictions. Happily, the country is becoming more accessible than ever, thanks to the nonstop flights between New York and Auckland that  Air New Zealand  launched in September,” T+L’s Peter Terzian comments. And starting in June 2023, Australian carrier Qantas will also offer direct flights from New York.

On our New Zealand Nature Explorer expedition, enjoy a private cruise of mythical-looking Milford Sound, one of the main settings for the film adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Fellowship of the Ring. Search for kiwis on guided night walks in Rakiura National Park, whose Maori name means “Land of Glowing Skies.” Stargaze beneath some of the darkest skies on Earth at Lake Wanaka and, if lucky, catch sight of the aurora australis.

6. South Africa

At tastings at two historic estates in the Cape Winelands region, sample vintages and cheeses. On a guided tour of Cape Dutch farm, established in 1692, you’re invited to pick, taste, smell and touch an array of the more than 300 fruits and vegetables that grow here. 7. Slovenia

“Widely recognized as a leader in sustainable tourism, Slovenia has…added a new item to the menu:  the Slovenia Green Gourmet Route .” This food trail of green-certified destinations highlights the country’s Michelin-starred restaurants, traditional farms and wineries. Visiting a 90-year-old apiary, you’ll learn about the sustainable artisan production of honey and taste it in honey liqueur, gingerbread and pastries. “Along with its spectacular wildlife, gorgeous fjords and glaciers, Alaska is also a great place to learn about native Alaskan culture and an example of Indigenous groups managing authentic tourism experiences that also embrace sustainability,” remarks Lonely Planet’s Richard Perry. In Anchorage, the first stop on our Ultimate Alaska Wildlife Safari , we focus on Alaska’s rich Native heritage with a privately guided tour of the Alaska Native Heritage Center or the Anchorage Museum’s First Peoples of Alaska exhibit. “Wedged between a frigid sea and the towering Chugach Mountains, Anchorage plays basecamp to Alaska’s vast wilderness,” says Condé Nast Traveler’s Jen Rose Smith.

9. Queensland, Australia

Cairns, Queensland, is the gateway to two World Heritage Sites: the Great Barrier Reef and Daintree National Park, the oldest rain forest on Earth. 11. British Columbia

After centuries of logging and overgrazing, “a move to return the Highlands to its original woodlands, by reintroducing former flora and fauna in a process called “rewilding,” is gathering steam… The nonprofit organization Trees for Life is opening a center in Dundreggan to educate the public on the concept of rewilding…and most ambitiously, the Affric Highlands project will start restoring 500,000 acres stretching from Loch Ness to the west coast in a 30-year initiative that could make Scotland the planet’s first rewilded nation,” declares National Geographic. 1-4 – Nailing down all the details (flights, accommodations, and tour guides) never fails to freak me out. How am I supposed to remember everything? 

5-8 – I've got it covered... for the most part. But it might be useful to have someone review my travel arrangements and double-check their seamlessness.

9-10 – When it comes to trips, I'm a planning whiz. I book everything months in advance to make sure I see all the can't be missed sights.

What's tempting you to travel?

My curiosity! There's nothing more interesting than digging into a different culture.

The relaxation! I'm way overdue for some rest and recuperation.

The nightlife! Hitting the most popular bars and clubs is the best way to take a city's pulse.

My adventurousness! New experiences inspire my creativity.

What's your dream accommodation?

A luxurious hotel – I'm a creature of comfort, friend!

NEW YORK (AP) — The theft of sensitive information belonging to millions of AT&T’s current and former customers has been recently discovered online, the telecommunications giant said this weekend.

In a Saturday announcement addressing the data breach, AT&T said that a dataset found on the “dark web” contains information including some Social Security numbers and passcodes for about 7.6 million current account holders and 65.4 million former account holders.

Whether the data “originated from AT&T or one of its vendors” is still unknown, the Dallas-based company noted — adding that it had launched an investigation into the incident. AT&T has also begun notifying customers whose personal information was compromised.

Here’s what you need to know.

WHAT INFORMATION WAS COMPROMISED IN THIS BREACH?

Although varying by each customer and account, AT&T says that information involved in this breach included Social Security numbers and passcodes — which, unlike passwords, are numerical PINS that are typically four digits long.

Full names, email addresses, mailing address, phone numbers, dates of birth and AT&T account numbers may have also been compromised. The impacted data is from 2019 or earlier and does not appear to include financial information or call history, the company said.

HOW DO I KNOW IF I WAS AFFECTED?

Consumers impacted by this breach should be receiving an email or letter directly from AT&T about the incident. The email notices began going out on Saturday, an AT&T spokesperson confirmed to The Associated Press.

WHAT ACTION HAS AT&T TAKEN?

Beyond these notifications, AT&T said that it had already reset the passcodes of current users. The company added that it would pay for credit monitoring services where applicable.

AT&T also said that it “launched a robust investigation” with internal and external cybersecurity experts to investigate the situation further.

HAS AT&T SEEN DATA BREACHES LIKE THIS BEFORE?

AT&T has seen several data breaches that range in size and impact over the years .

While the company says the data in this latest breach surfaced on a hacking forum nearly two weeks ago, it closely resembles a similar breach that surfaced in 2021 but which AT&T never acknowledged, cybersecurity researcher Troy Hunt told the AP Saturday.

“If they assess this and they made the wrong call on it, and we’ve had a course of years pass without them being able to notify impacted customers,” then it’s likely the company will soon face class action lawsuits, said Hunt, founder of an Australia-based website that warns people when their personal information has been exposed.

A spokesperson for AT&T declined to comment further when asked about these similarities Sunday.

HOW CAN I PROTECT MYSELF GOING FORWARD?

Avoiding data breaches entirely can be tricky in our ever-digitized world, but consumers can take some steps to help protect themselves going forward.

The basics include creating hard-to-guess passwords and using multifactor authentication when possible. If you receive a notice about a breach, it’s good idea to change your password and monitor account activity for any suspicious transactions. You’ll also want to visit a company’s official website for reliable contact information — as scammers sometimes try to take advantage of news like data breaches to gain your trust through look-alike phishing emails or phone calls.

In addition, the Federal Trade Commission notes that nationwide credit bureaus — such as Equifax, Experian and TransUnion — offer free credit freezes and fraud alerts that consumers can set up to help protect themselves from identity theft and other malicious activity.

What customers should know about AT&T's massive data breach

Millions of current and former AT&T customers learned over the weekend that hackers have likely stolen their personal information and are sharing it on the dark web . 

AT&T on Saturday said it doesn't know if the massive data breach "originated from AT&T or one of its vendors," but that it has "launched a robust investigation" into what caused the incident. The data breach is the latest cyberattack AT&T has experienced since a leak in January of 2023 , that affected 9 million users. By contrast, Saturday's much larger breach impacts 73 million current and former AT&T account holders. AT&T has seen several data breaches  over  the years that range in size and impact. 

The data breach prompted an Ohio man to file a class-action lawsuit against AT&T, accusing the telecommunications giant of negligence and breach of contract. Lawyers representing Alex Petroski of Summit County, Ohio, argued that the cyberattack could have been avoided and that AT&T's security failed to protect customer data. 

Until more details of AT&T's investigation arise, here's what customers should know about the most recent data breach.

What's the latest with AT&T's investigation into the breach?

AT&T hasn't disclosed details about its investigation into the data breach, but it is likely to be time-consuming and costly, according to Kevin Powers, the founding director of the Master of Science in Cybersecurity Policy and Governance Programs at Boston College.

The company will most likely bring in outside computer forensics specialists who will work with its on-site IT staff to determine exactly when and how the hackers got into the customer account information system, Powers said. But identifying the hackers' path of entry will be a big challenge for such a large company.

"You don't know where it came in from," Powers told CBS MoneyWatch, referring to the source of the breach. "It potentially could be from a customer or it could have been done from one of their outside contractors or someone else along their supply chain."

In addition, AT&T will have to scrub any malware out of the software that runs its customer account system, while also keeping the system running for customers who weren't impacted, he said. All these steps will have to be shared with lawyers, the outside consultants, and likely officials from the Federal Trade Commission. 

What's the best way to protect my personal information? 

Start by freezing your credit reports at all three major agencies — Equifax, Experience and TransUnion. Then sign up for 24-7 credit monitoring and enable two-factor authentication on your AT&T account, said WalletHub CEO Odysseas Papadimitriou, a former senior director at Capital One.

If you receive a notice about a breach, it's a good idea to change your password and monitor your account activity for any suspicious transactions. The Federal Trade Commission offers free credit freezes and fraud alerts that consumers can set up to help protect themselves from identity theft and other malicious activity.

While most experts agree that you should wear sunscreen year-round to prevent damage from the sun, harmful ultraviolet rays are strongest during the late spring and early summer.

The Times’s Well section partnered with Wirecutter , a New York Times Company that reviews and recommends products (and publishes annual ratings of sunscreens for the face and body ), to answer common questions about sunscreen, including about how safe and effective it is, how to use it properly, and how to pick the right one for you.

How much SPF is enough?

Sun protection factor (or SPF) is a measure of how well a sunscreen protects against sunburn, which usually results from exposure to ultraviolet B (or UVB) rays, the type that cause most skin cancers. Most experts recommend an SPF of at least 30 for most people and most climates.

“There’s no harm in going higher, though,” especially if your skin burns easily or you have sun-exposure allergies , said Dr. Vinod Nambudiri, a dermatologist at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.

Once you go past SPF 30, the protection becomes more incremental. When properly applied, for instance, an SPF 30 sunscreen shields skin from about 97 percent of the sun’s UVB rays, while an SPF 50 protects against roughly 98 percent. No sunscreen blocks 100 percent of the sun’s rays.

Most experts we spoke with said that what’s more important is finding a broad-spectrum sunscreen — one that protects against both UVB and ultraviolet A (UVA) rays, which mostly cause skin aging and wrinkles — that you enjoy wearing and can afford to reapply and use consistently.

“Most people aren’t getting the SPF benefit on the sunscreen’s label because they aren’t applying a thick enough layer to their skin, and they usually aren’t reapplying often enough — usually every 80 minutes or two hours, depending upon the formula,” said Dr. Belinda Tan, a dermatopathologist in Torrance, Calif.

The average adult needs about one ounce of sunscreen to cover all exposed skin. “We often say a shot glass of sunscreen for the whole body,” said Dr. Jenna Lester, an associate professor of dermatology at the U.C. San Francisco School of Medicine, “but I tell my patients to fill the shot glass up to the brim and use even more if needed so you don’t miss any spots.”

Are there any alternatives to sunscreen?

Avoiding the sun (especially between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., when its rays are strongest) is one excellent way to protect your skin from sun damage. So is wearing protective clothing, like long-sleeved shirts and wide brimmed hats . Alternatives like sunscreen pills or supplements “are being studied right now,” Dr. Nambudiri said, but none are approved by the Food and Drug Administration and there is no evidence that they are safe and effective.

Which type of sunscreen is better: chemical or physical?

Sunscreen can mitigate a lot of potential damage from the sun. However experts have acknowledged that some people may be concerned by past reports that active ingredients in many chemical sunscreens can reach the bloodstream and remain there for days.

“We don’t know what the health implications are yet, or even if there are any,” Dr. Lester said, “but we want to give credence to people’s concerns.”

The best sunscreen for you is the one that you will apply, and reapply, often.

Physical (or mineral) sunscreens reflect UV rays away from your skin, while chemical sunscreens absorb UV rays so that your skin does not.

One pro of mineral sunscreens is that their active ingredients — zinc oxide and titanium dioxide — haven’t been shown to absorb into the blood.

If you’re concerned about potential safety issues with chemical sunscreens but also want to protect your skin from harmful UV rays, “mineral is best,” Dr. Tan said.

Keep in mind that sunscreen is just one of many topical products whose potential health effects are not completely understood. “Of course it’s very alarming when people think there’s a chemical being absorbed by their skin and detectable in blood,” Dr. Tan said, “but we put a lot of things on our skin — lotions, cosmetics, fragrances.” It’s important to take a “step back and put the sunscreen conversation in context,” she said.

Mineral sunscreens have some cons, too. They “are generally more expensive and less cosmetically elegant than chemical ones,” said Dr. Lawrence Eichenfield, chief of pediatric and adolescent dermatology at Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego. They are often harder to rub in, appear chalkier and feel more noticeable on the skin.

If you don’t like the way a particular sunscreen looks or feels, you’ll be less likely to use it consistently, Dr. Lester said. In her own practice, people with darker skin “often avoid mineral sunscreens because they tend to leave a white cast on the skin,” she said.

Testing by Wirecutter has found that chemical sunscreens with active ingredients including avobenzone, octocrylene and oxybenzone tend to feel lighter on the skin, rub in easier and appear less visible.

Does sunscreen harm coral reefs?

It can, Dr. Lester said.

Oxybenzone, octocrylene and octinoxate are among the primary sunscreen ingredients that can contribute to coral reef damage. The only two “reef safe” active ingredients approved by the F.D.A. are “non-nanotized” zinc oxide and titanium dioxide. (Non-nanotized means that the ingredient is 100 nanometers in diameter or more.)

However, no sunscreen is known to be totally safe for aquatic life , so the best way to protect yourself and the environment is to cover as much of your body as possible with ultraviolet protection factor (UPF) clothing (though you’ll still need to use sunscreen on exposed skin).

Do you need sunscreen if you have dark skin?

Yes. “It’s a misconception that darker-skinned people can’t get skin cancer,” Dr. Nambudiri said. Even though darker-skinned people may not burn as quickly as fairer-skinned people, they can still get sun damage that contributes to sunburns, aging, uneven skin tone and hyperpigmentation, Dr. Lester added.

Should I wear sunscreen every day?

Yes . “Whether it’s sunny or cloudy, UV rays are present 365 days a year, and I encourage my patients to use sunscreen year-round,” Dr. Nambudiri said.

While it is not necessary to wear sunscreen on skin that isn’t exposed, it’s important to apply it to the face, ears, neck, hands, forearms and other often-exposed body parts to help prevent sun damage.

Can you be allergic to sunscreen?

Yes, said Dr. Whitney Bowe, a dermatologist in New York City. “Every summer, I have patients who come in with rashes, itchy skin or irritation, and they’re concerned they might be allergic to their sunscreen,” she said.

In these cases, allergies are possible. But these patients may also be having what dermatologists call irritant contact dermatitis, a nonallergic skin reaction to an ingredient in sunscreen that can cause mild redness, itchiness or stinging. This reaction tends to appear almost immediately after applying sunscreen and only on the skin where the sunscreen has been applied, said Dr. Hope Mitchell, a dermatologist in Ohio.

An allergy, on the other hand, “may take several days or even years of consistent use of the same product to develop,” Dr. Mitchell said, and it may spread to other body parts. Signs of an allergy may include swelling, extreme itching or a blistering rash.

Fragrances, preservatives, oils and botanical extracts are the most common sunscreen ingredients that cause either irritant contact dermatitis or an allergy, Dr. Bowe said.

Active ingredients in chemical sunscreens, such as oxybenzone, avobenzone and octocrylene, have caused skin reactions, though research suggests this is rare. And interactions between your sunscreen and “certain medications, topical creams or lotions may cause or exacerbate reactions,” Dr. Mitchell said.

Another possible reaction is photocontact dermatitis, which can occur when sunlight interacts with certain sunscreen ingredients. If you develop a rash on parts of the body that have been exposed to both sunscreen and the sun (such as your face), but not on parts that have been exposed only to sunscreen (such as under your chin), “photocontact dermatitis is possible,” Dr. Bowe said.

She suggested using fragrance- and essential oil-free formulations and sticking to mineral sunscreens, which have active ingredients that are less likely than those in chemical sunscreens to cause reactions. (Wirecutter’s guide to sunscreens includes several mineral-based and “sensitive” formulas that tend to contain fewer known irritants.)

If you think your skin is reacting to an ingredient in your sunscreen, stop using that formula, Dr. Mitchell said, but do not stop wearing sunscreen altogether. And if you’re concerned, consult a dermatologist, who can prescribe medication if needed.

If the problem persists after making these substitutions, Dr. Bowe and Dr. Mitchell both suggested patch allergy testing, which can help determine the specific ingredients that are causing the reactions.

Get an extension to file your tax return

If you need more time to file your taxes, you can  request an extension through October 15. You must file your request by the April tax filing due date to get the extension. Make sure you pay any tax you owe by the April filing date. The extension is only for filing your return.

Automatic extensions

You may qualify for an automatic tax filing extension if you’re:

• In a federally declared disaster area
• In the military stationed abroad or serving in a combat zone
• A citizen or resident alien living outside the U.S.

There are 3 ways to get until October 15 to file your tax return.

Pay online and check the box

Pay what you owe using an online payment option and check the box that you are paying as part of filing for an extension. You don’t have to file a separate extension form and you’ll receive a confirmation number of your extension for your records.

Use Free File (no income limit for extensions)

Use IRS Free File to electronically request an automatic tax-filing extension. 

Request an extension by mail

1. File Form 4868, Application for Automatic Extension of Time To File U.S. Individual Income Tax Return . You can file by mail, online with an IRS e-filing partner or through a tax professional. 2. Estimate how much tax you owe for the year on the extension form: Subtract the taxes you already paid for the filing year.
