Dear Warwick,
It was a wonderful experience to tour the incredible South Island of New Zealand with you. In you, not only we found a skillful safe driver, a meticulous planner and knowledgeable guide but a warm hearted, extremely accommodative and cheerful person too who contributed in making our trip an amazing one. Though a short interaction, Karen too impressed us with her enthusiasm and energy levels. Whenever we'll see those memorable "Shavani" pics we'll always remember you. Best wishes and regards to you and your family. Cheers . I'll send few pics of yours with us on your Whatsapp no. Warm regards Dr. Sanjay Sanadhya.

Hello Karen,
My daughter and I booked Call Jeeves for a day trip to see Castle Hill. We didn't have any other areas we specifically wanted to see, but with plenty of time, Karen suggested several wonderful spots for us to stop. She only needed a few minutes chatting with us to know exactly the types of things that would interest us. She was spot on with everything and we really enjoyed our time with her. We learned plenty about the area without it sounding like a school lecture.
I highly recommend Call Jeeves if you are looking for something outside the scope of the cruise ship offerings. We wanted to say again how wonderful our trip to Castle Hill with Karen was. I just did a review on TripAdvisor that I thought I would share with you in case you don't see them often. Rest assured, if we are ever in your area again, we will be in touch. Thanks, Mary.

We are back in Australia after our cruise and we just wanted to thank you again for our day trip during our stopover in Akaroa. You showed considerable patience and resolve putting up with all our family dynamics - including old world grandpas! You deserve a medal for that alone.
But the tour was amazing and we got to see so much of the Volcanic Peninsula that we hadn't seen before, so it was really a wonderful and worthwhile trip in that beautiful part of the world. So we really enjoyed ourselves thanks to your warmth and hospitality. We'll be sure to look you up next time we're in town. All the best, Justin, Sarit and the rest of the crazy family.

Warwick & Karen,
I just wanted to send you and Karen a huge "thank you' for all you both did to make our day in Akaroa special and memorable. Your patience and assistance while I struggled to get the group put together along with Karen's help and patience as she made the tour as thorough as possible are greatly appreciated by all 6 of us.
We accomplished more than we thought possible when the plan was initiated ........all a result of your and Karen's help and hard work. While it is unlikely I will return to New Zealand, I would not hesitate to use your touring service again or recommend them to others who may venture to New Zealand in the future.
Thanks again! Len Cioni. PS: We spoke to others from the ship who took the train to Arthurs Pass that day and they were disappointed which only goes to reinforce the wisdom of the suggestions you made to me!

We had a tours with Karen on February 16th and 17th from Akaroa. We were the group from Alabama, USA off of the Seabourn Cruise Line. My husband and I were the two non Trump supporters in the group, in case our name doesn’t ring a bell. Duane and I wanted to offer our condolences and to let you know how sorry we are for the difficult time your country is going through and the loss of so many innocent people. New Zealand was such a wonderful friendly place to visit. Everyone we met was so kind and helpful to us. Your country unlike ours is being very proactive about the problem of mass shootings. Know you are on our hearts and minds. Sincerely, Duane and Sue

Hi Warwick, We are back in Australia now and our wonderful cruise holiday is over. We would just like to thank you for taking us on that fantastic drive to the Southern Alps. What a wonderful time my family had touring for the day and experiencing the jet boat ride. We appreciate the service you provided us Warwick and no doubt you have provided great memories for Bryce that he will have for years to come. Gaye, Bryce and I wish you and your family the best for 2017. Kind Regards and many thanks,

Dear Karen and Warwick, We want to thank you for leading us on a most wonderful and memorable trip to the South Island. We enjoyed learning about New Zealand, discovering meat pies, attempting to speak Kiwi-ish, feeding sheep, jet boating, appreciating the beautiful landscape, and especially spending time with you, Karen. Although our visit with you was brief, we felt as if we were bidding farewell to an old friend at the airport! Overall, we were left with incredible impressions of your beautiful country. Ron & I had such a nice time at so many new experiences in New Zealand. All the best to you both & I hope we someday meet again.
- Ron & Carla, Honolulu. -
Dear Bridget,
You may recall doing a day trip two months ago for me and my party from the Celebrity Solstice. It has taken a long time for us to fully appreciate the wonderful holiday we had. One of the highlights of the holiday certainly was the Call Jeeves Tours trip with you from Akaroa and around the area. Being a bit rushed to re-board the ship, we left after a brief good-bye...............Never the less, in appreciation of your hospitality, Patricia and I would like you to have the enclosed. Best wishes,
- John, R., UK. -
Dear Bridget, Thanks for your wonderful tour yesterday. We will certainly recommend you to any friends that visit Akaroa. Cheers,

Just completed a five day tour with Jeeves and can't say enough good things about Warwick who absolutely made our visit to New Zealand's South Island one of the most enjoyable travel experiences we've had in a long time --- and we're not exactly rookies, having visited 55 countries over the years. Personable and professional, Warwick gave us many invaluabe suggestions to get the most out of our visit, each being spot on. If your travels take you to New Zealand, look no further than Jeeves to arrange and fulfill an interesting itinerary -- you won't be disappointed.
- Mike & Sue, California -
Dear Warwick,
We had a safe trip back to the states although having trouble sleeping. We thank you very much for making our trip memorable and safe. You were absolutely terrific and would love for you to use us a reference for anyone at all traveling to New Zealand. I had pictures developed last night and showed 2 of the kids some of our sites. They all want to visit because it is so beautiful. Karen, I love my necklace, ring and earrings from Talbot. The lady was lovely and it turned out I bought a necklace that she had on herself, always a great compliment. I did tell her you sent me so you should stop by and let her know you do recommend her store regardless of husbands desires. LOL.Our best to you both and much appreciation.

Hi Karen, The trip to Toronto went as well as could be expected. 27 hours and I'm with my family. I wanted to thank you again for your kindness and consideration 'above and beyond'. I hope to one day get back and properly see your beautiful country.
Dear Warwick, Greetings of the Day! A great team in Call Jeeves Tours , From initial enquiry to CMD's departure, we were delighted with the professional and fantastic service we received. We wanted to express our CMD Mr Babu Moopans appreciation for the superior service received during his travel at the Christchurch with family. Driver was very helpful and deserve a great deal of praise for his excellent customer service. Kudos to you and your staff for making his land arrangements a great one.
Thanks & Regards,

Hi Karen, This is Tuna and Ken; We did a wine tour with you in Christchurch and were now back in Dallas. We just wanted to send you a note and thank you again for a great time. Also, we know that you had your birthday on the 13th and hope that you had a wonderful and very special day. Best regards,
- Tuna, Dallas, USA. -
Dear Karen, Just to let you know that Cecile and I truly enjoyed the tour you gave us with a very unique glance into the wonderful world of wine making with the delightful couple from Italy and the great tour of the City. We truly enjoyed it but I had to hit the ground running upon my return. I hope your business is doing well and thank you for your special effort to make lemonade out of lemons. It worked!! Yours in Rotary:

Hi Warwick, so nice to hear from you.We had a wonderful two days with Karen. Karen was like the Eveready Battery Bunny - she just kept on going. Her commentaries were more than informative and she maximized every moment we had to spend with her. Truly one of the best guides we had during our 16 days of touring New Zealand. Karen is truly an asset and her love being a guide and for New Zealand was infectious. Best to you and Karen
- Ellen and Neil, New York, USA. -

The boat and crew for the cruise were outstanding and you're in good and safe hands should you sail with them. One of the patrons had a medical episode and the crew put into play their training and dealt with the matter efficiently and carefully. Akaroa and its harbour are a must see for anyone visiting the South Island. Hailed as the Garden City for its wealth of leafy parks and quaint English gardens, Christchurch remains unquestionably one of the most beautiful centres on the New Zealand circuit. While recovery has been slow following the series of destructive quakes that tore their way through Canterbury in 2011, the town centre has proved steadfast in its offering of cutting-edge gastronomy and boutique shopping, not to mention innovative in its makeshift array of new hipster hangouts—many sprung up from the ruined complexes of the old City Mall. Aside from the grassy meadows and fields of Hagley Park and the historic homes of the Riccarton Bush, there are the looming ridges of the Port Hills to explore; accessed by the iconic Christchurch gondola and offering guests a jaunt across the dramatic Crater Rim Walkway. Many visitors opt to tour the downtown on one of the city’s famous punts, others get the low down on bike rentals from their Christchurch tour guide and join the locals weaving through the pretty lanes of stately Riccarton and Cathedral Square. And of course, don’t miss a jaunt to picturesque Lyttelton over the Banks Peninsula, where the sleepy coffee shops and harbourside eateries offer up a more authentic image of local South Island life.

How to Choose a New Zealand Tour
Choosing a travel tour requires careful consideration to ensure that it aligns with your interests, preferences, and physical capabilities.
Research Tour Operators
Start by researching reputable tour operators that specialize in tours for mature travelers. Look for companies with a track record of positive reviews, responsible travel practices, and experienced local guides.
Tour Itinerary
Review the tour itinerary in detail. Ensure it covers the destinations and experiences you are interested in, whether it’s cultural immersion, scenic beauty, wildlife encounters, or a combination of activities.
Consider the group size. Smaller groups often provide a more personalized experience and allow for meaningful interactions with fellow travelers and guides.
Physical Demands
Assess the physical demands of the tour. Some tours may involve extensive walking or more adventurous activities, so choose one that matches your fitness level and preferences.
Inclusions and Exclusions
Check what is included in the tour package, such as accommodations, meals, activities, and transportation. Compare the value offered by different tour companies.
Flexibility
Look for tours that offer a balance between structured activities and free time, allowing you to explore on your own or take a break when needed.
Travel Style
Identify the travel style that suits you best. It could be a leisurely-paced tour, an adventure-focused one, or a blend of both.
Travel Insurance
Ensure that you have appropriate travel insurance that covers your age and the activities included in the tour.
Reviews and Recommendations
Read reviews and testimonials from other travelers who have taken the tour to get a better understanding of their experiences and satisfaction levels.
How to Prepare for a New Zealand Tour
Obtain necessary documents.
Ensure you have a valid passport with at least six months of validity from your planned departure date. Depending on your nationality, you may also need to apply for a visa before traveling to New Zealand.
Check Health and Vaccination Requirements
Consult your doctor or a travel health clinic to ensure you are up-to-date with vaccinations and to get advice on any specific health precautions for New Zealand.
Pack Appropriately
Pack comfortable and weather-appropriate clothing, including layers for varying temperatures. Don’t forget essentials like a hat, sunscreen, sturdy walking shoes, and any specialized gear required for specific activities.
Learn about the Culture
Familiarize yourself with New Zealand’s customs, traditions, and etiquette to show respect for the local culture.
Plan for Free Time
If your tour includes free time, research activities or places of interest you’d like to explore during those periods.

I very much enjoyed the shout out to New Zealand, it’s been on my list for some time. However, I would have appreciated it even more if you could mention the tours that have no single supplement. I’m sure I’m not the only one who struggles to find group tours that are affordable as a newly single woman.
I live in Australia and have visited NZ several times. It’s a beautiful place and well worth seeing. Another way of traveling is on a cruise and there are several cruise companies that sail from Sydney or you can join one in Auckland. My husband and I traveled with Princess Cruises on a Christmas cruise a few years ago. It’s a perfect way to see both islands as they usually travel around the circumference calling in at most of the cities, where you can disembark and go on excursions to the mountains, lakes and wineries. The Maori culture is very interesting and the people are very welcoming. Of course the scenery is spectacular and the wineries and Te Papa museum in Wellington well worth a visit. Just do it…you won’t be disappointed.
Thank you for promoting our lovely little country 😊 I’m in New Zealand and all of the tours above look fabulous! We’re a pretty friendly bunch and it’s a safe place for travellers. Lovely place for foodies to visit too! The weather can be very much ‘four seasons in one day’ so packing for layering is a good suggestion. Bring the swimsuit regardless of season as there are hot springs in many places and a LOT of coastline! Come on over…
I live in New Zealand too. I agree with Janne, please come and visit. It might be a long way for many, but you won’t be disappointed in any way. I have travelled the world and now I’m older I’m seeing more of my own beautiful country and just amazed at our diverse and gorgeous scenery. There’s something for everyone here, the pace is slower than many places and even our biggest cities are smaller than most large cities in the world. Febuary/March will give you the best summer and July/August will give you a mild winter in most place, except for our winter wonderland Skiing areas.

Working With Inbound Tour Operators
Working with ito's.
Inbound Tour Operators (ITOs) play an important role in bringing tourists to our region. Find out how to work with ITOs.
What Is An ITO?
An inbound tour operator (ITO) is a New Zealand-based business that specialises in itinerary planning, product selection, and coordinating travel arrangements for overseas clients, such as wholesalers or retail travel agents.
Acting as the local product expert, ITOs select and collaborate with export-ready products, including accommodation, tours, transport, and meals, to craft exciting and engaging travel itineraries.
Role Of An ITO
ITOs play a crucial role in promoting these products through various overseas travel distributors.
Key considerations for ITOs include choosing tried-and-tested products with a successful domestic track record, offering good value for money, maintaining consistent quality and excellent customer service, providing unique and appealing experiences, and ensuring regular availability of products for travellers to Christchurch.
