The Air intake with heavy duty black powder coated heat shield and dry flow air filter can help your engine to draw in more cold air resulting in better throttle response and higher explosive horsepower output. The heat shield protects the filter from dirt and debris and to keep hot under hood air away from the element for a cooler intake air charge, thus increase 8-10% of Horsepower and 6-8% of torque. This cool air intake kit includes the high flow performance dry air filter and the aluminum intake pipe. This intake kit is easy to install and easy to fit with simple tools.

Volant air intake systems utilize a high-velocity venturi filter adapter which provides a smooth transition through the MAF sensor into the intake tube for a much needed airflow improvement over the factory rubber tubing and resonator box. Volant's Cool Air box is larger than the factory unit and incorporates a larger opening to collect a higher volume of colder ambient air.

This model includes a MaxFlow 5 Oiled Filter for improved performance with the comfort of oiled filtration technology for those looking for horsepower.

2004 ford excursion

Overall very well made however will not fit a 2004 excursion without extensive cutting and modifying the old airbox bracket, it is one huge piece with the evap air canister, once you get over that, I had to shorten the rubber connection, the length of the entire tube assembly was too long, it does make a noticeable difference in the performance of the truck, would have definitely gave it a 5 star if it would have fit.

Good quality

It installed very well except I had to cut the bottom boot down cuz it was too long to get together between the pipe and the box.

Very nice closed box intake system but...

I installed this air intake system on my 04 V-10 Excursion. Even though it is listed to fit a 99-04 excursion it did not fit my 04 without some extensive modifications. The problem is that the OEM air filter mounting bracket is also part of the evaporative canister bracket on the 04. I had to separate the two brackets by cutting them apart with a skill saw, dremel tool, and a hack saw. Once I separated them I had to make three cuts to the evaporative canister bracket before I had enough clearance to mount the Volant air box to the frame rail next to the evaporative canister and bracket. Once the modification was done (about 2.5 hrs) I was able to continue with the installation, and I was very pleased with results. This filter assembly is replacing an old open K&N filter system that was on the vehicle when I purchased it. I'm very happy to have the air filter enclosed in the box vs out in the dust. Except for the modification to the evaporative canister bracket the installation of the system went well. Very pleased. The only complaint I have is that it wasn't clear when I purchased the intake system that it was not going to fit without some modifications. Definitely won't fit the 04 excursion right out of the box, you will have to do some chopping and modifying.

Purchase was easy. Not too long wait time. A few weeks only. My mechanic installed the intake and it sounds great and performs even better. I can feel the extra horses!

We liked that she could pick up on our interests and take us places we might not have thought of to go. Arkady in Veliky Novgorod was a very good guide and answered all of our questions with ease. Novgorod was perhaps a long way to go for a day trip, but we did enjoy it. Vasily was a great driver to have and kept us safe with good humour and skill. We enjoyed ourselves so much, my daughter says she is already planning to return. We would both have no hesistation to recommend ExpresstoRussia to anyone we know.

Just wanted to let you know that My grandson Bruno and I couldn´t have been more pleased with our week in Moscow (6/15 - 6/21). We were absolutely enchanted with the whole experience, including getting lost a couple of times in the Metro during our free time. Although both our guides (both Eleanas) were excellent, I would particularly commend the first one (she took us to the Tatiakov, the KGB tour, and to that beautiful cemetery where so many great Russian artists, authors, composers, musicians, militarists, and politicians are buried). Her knowledge is encyclopedic; and her understanding of today´s Russia as a product of its past was, for us, truly enlightening. I will be taking another tour in Russia, with my wife, within the next two or three years. I will be in touch with you when the time comes. Meanwhile, I will refer you to other potential visitors to Russia as I meet them.

Do they speak English in Moscow?

As Russia’s capital city, tourists are well accommodated in Moscow. There should be English-speaking staff in restaurants, bars, hotels, shops and attractions in tourist hotspots, and there are also English-speaking tourist police. Transport services have English translations on their maps and English announcements via intercom; alternatively, order taxis from the Yandex Taxi app (Russian Uber), though it’s unlikely that your taxi driver will speak English. If you get stuck and cannot communicate, it’s fine to use Google Translate.

Is it safe to travel to Moscow?

It is no less safe to travel to Moscow than to any European city if you exercise common sense and look after your belongings. As with every city some regions can be more unsavoury than others, but no tourist attractions are located there. The traffic in Moscow is notorious, so exercise caution when crossing roads.
