Lizzo is wrapping up the first leg of her North American tour in support of Special . She’s now announced a number of 2023 concerts. The North American shows take place in April, May, and June and feature support from Latto. Check out Lizzo’s schedule below.

Lizzo has announced new dates for her The Special tour. Following her North American tour, she plans to give 15 concerts in Europe in 2023, including three in Germany and one in Switzerland.

With only one more date on her Fall 2022 North American Tour, Lizzo has announced that she will be touring North America again in 2023 after her two month run in the U.K. and Europe in February and March. Joining Lizzo on the North American leg of her tour this winter will be none other than 2022 Song of the Year & Best New Artist recipient, Latto .

The newly scheduled tour dates will begin on April 21 in Knoxville, TN and continue across North America for 17 shows until June 2 in Palm Desert, California. Along the way the tour is scheduled to hit big cities such as St. Louis, Memphis, Chicago, Phoenix, and more.

Tickets are on sale tomorrow, Friday, November 18 to the general public on Lizzo’s website .

In addition to tour news, HBO Max will be releasing a new documentary about her life and career, Love, Lizzo , on November 24. Full trailer below.

Lizzo has shared details of UK and European dates for her ‘The Special Tour’ in 2023. Tickets are available here .

The pop star, who today (October 3) kicks off the tour in North America in support of her latest album, ‘ Special ‘, will play 15 dates across Europe and the UK next year. Joy Crooks will support on all UK dates.

It begins at Oslo’s Spektrum on February 17 before wrapping at The O2 in London on March 15. Tickets go on general sale this Friday (October 7) at 12pm local time here .

Those with American Express cards in Norway, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Italy and the UK can purchase tickets in a pre-sale beginning tomorrow (October 4) at 12pm local time.

Meanwhile, last week Lizzo has made history by becoming the first person in two centuries to play the Library of Congress’ 200-year-old crystal flute .

The huge moment took place last Tuesday (September 27) at Lizzo’s Washington DC show where she played the flute which was originally owned by the fourth president of the United States, James Madison.

Sharing a clip of the performance on Twitter after the show, Lizzo wrote: “NOBODY HAS EVER HEARD THIS FAMOUS CRYSTAL FLUTE BEFORE […] NOW YOU HAVE.”

Lizzo Playfully Covers Rammstein’s ‘Du Hast’ at German Tour Stop

The singer gave the crowd a small taste of the German she's been learning lately.

Lizzo showed off her knack for German by covering Rammstein on a tour stop in Hamburg, Germany, last week.

“Du, du hast/ Du hast mich!/ Oma!/ Du, du hast/ Du hast mich!” the star playfully chanted onstage at the European city’s Barclays Arena, in a reference to Rammstein’s 1997 single “Du Hast” from their sophomore album Sehnsucht . “Nein! Oh, Hamburg, I’m having fun, bi–h!” she then declared in her sparkling, rainbow sequined dress.

“Germany = Rammstein,” a TikTok user captioned the fan-captured video, adding, “She had just learned how to say ‘Oma’, that’s why she incorporated it.”

At another concert during the week, Lizzo also re-created Ariana DeBose’s viral opening number from the 2023 BAFTA Awards, complete with the West Side Story breakout star’s shimmy of the shoulders and impassioned delivery of “Angela Bassett did the thing!”

Currently, the European leg of The Special Tour is slated to continue through the middle of March, with stops in Berlin, Milan, Paris, Dublin and London before Lizzo heads back to the U.S. for a second North American leg beginning April 21 at Thompson-Boling Arena in Knoxville, Tenn.

Lizzo Had Us at ‘Du Hast Mich’

She had us at “Du hast mich.” Pop princess Lizzo covered the German metal band Rammstein’s 1997 classic “Du Hast” on a tour stop in Berlin on February 28. Wearing a glittering lime-green Mugler bodysuit, she chanted the song’s eponymous lyrics — “Du, du hast/ Du hast mich!/ Du, du hast/ Du hast mich!” — and had a little dance-break moment, complete with hairography. Lizzo performed the rendition like a pop song. Backup dancers stood in synchronized power poses with their hands on their hips, swaying with the music, while the “About Damn Time” singer did a fierce call-and-response moment with the crowd. Lizzo is no stranger to covers. She took Sam Smith and Kim Petras’s Grammy-winning chart-topper “Unholy” to church during a BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge set on February 17, adding an impressive 30-second flute solo in the middle of the song. And, just last week, she briefly re-created Ariana DeBose’s indescribable BAFTA’s rap between songs. Lizzo sure knows how to do the thing.
