Kee p th e Ar t s  i n  Bloom

O n vasho n island.

Vashon Island boasts some of the Northwest's finest private gardens and natural oases. For two days in June, the proud and passionate owners of these gardens grant exclusive access to the Vashon Garden Tour,  welcoming the public to stroll through the verdant foliage, fragrant flora, colorful blooms, and masterful designs.

Proceeds from the Vashon Garden Tour help to sustain the nonprofit work of the Vashon Center for the Arts as they grow the arts on Vashon and cultivate the artists of tomorrow.

Everywhere on the VCA campus the arts are growing lush and verdant: our auditorium in Katherine L. White Hall (aka "The Kay") boasts a bounty of live music, dance, theatre, film, and lectures all year round. In the Koch Gallery, each month brings a new bouquet of local and nationally renowned artists; the Blue Heron Education Center is always abuzz with art and dance classes for every age and skill level; VCA's Vashon Artists in Schools (VAIS) program nurtures budding creativity in classrooms all across the region throughout the school year; and the Blue Heron Meadow is (literally) a beautiful protected wetland where classes, performances, and installations happen en plein air !

So, as you go garden to garden, flower to flower, think of it as pollinating creativity and helping the arts bloom all across Vashon, no matter the season!

Whe n Garden s ar e Galleries...

Ou r gallery, i s a garden.

As June turns Vashon gardens into galleries of natural beauty, our gallery is turned into a garden of artistic expression! You're invited to stroll through an exhibition called The Secret Garden in VCA’s Koch Gallery. The gallery will be transformed into a garden blooming with artworks inspired by all things floral and foliar, environmental and ecological, mythical and magical, green and growing! The Secret Garden exhibition is open Wednesday–Sunday: 12–5 pm and is always FREE . Proceeds from artwork purchased during the exhibition support the nonprofit work of Vashon Center for the Arts in its mission to "initiate quality arts experiences for all ages and create opportunities for artists to perform and exhibit their work."

Speaking of Garden-Inspired Art:  Each year, the VCA gallery commissions a local artist to create an original work of art to help us promote the garden tour.   The painting you see on all our marketing content is called, “Nebula Flower” by Alyson Storms .

11 Things To Do On Vashon Island: A Day Trip from Seattle

Vashon Island is one of the Pacific Northwest’s best-kept secrets, an idyllic haven nestled in the heart of Puget Sound, with idyllic landscapes, breathtaking views, and friendly locals. Easily accessible from Tacoma or Seattle , it is the ideal day trip or weekend getaway destination, beloved by native Northwesterners and tourists alike. Despite its small size, there’s no shortage of things to do on Vashon Island.

Table of Contents

Getting to Vashon Island from Seattle

Unlike some Puget Sound islands, such as Bainbridge, Whidbey , and Fidalgo, Vashon is not connected to the mainland by any bridges. But given that one of the Sound’s most significant draws is the sea itself, hopping on a ferry seems a natural choice, anyway.

Vashon Island is accessible by private boat or Washington State Ferries; most visitors take the latter route.

Four ferry lines serve the island from nearby cities Port Orchard, Tacoma, and Seattle. The most popular are the 20- 30-minute ferry rides on the Fauntleroy-Southworth route from West Seattle or, if coming from Tacoma, the Point Defiance-Tahlequah Ferry.

The Point-Defiance-Tahlequah route drops you at the island’s south end, while the Fauntleroy-Southworth route stops at the north end.

View of West Seattle from Vashon Island

If you’re approaching from the west and the Port Orchard vicinity, you can also take the ferry from the Southworth ferry terminal. You can also take a boat to the Fauntleroy (West Seattle) dock from this port.

You can also take a passenger-only (no cars) ferry from downtown Seattle. If you don’t have a car or are attending an event around the island, using the “foot ferry” may be a good option. From here, you can take a local bus or taxi from the dock to downtown Vashon.

You can find all the ferry schedules  here .

By Car

Even though you can’t get to Vashon Island by car only, you will want a vehicle to explore the island – whether that be to jump between farm stands, visit a winery or brewery, or head to the strawberry festival held each July.

As mentioned, the only exception may be if you are attending an event and/or are happy to spend most of your time in Vashon.

All four ferry docks connect directly to the Vashon Highway, the main arterial connecting the island’s north and south shores.

Public transportation on the island is minimal. There is no rideshare service, so, although it is small, having a car is essential if you want to see all of Vashon Island’s attractions in a day or weekend.

If you need to rent a car for your trip, you can browse options on Rentalcars.com which aggregates prices across all the major providers.

11 Things To Do on a Vashon Island Day Trip

Grab a coffee in burton.

Just a few minutes north of Tahlequah is Burton, a small town that supplies all the necessities for residents, including a post office and general stores. It’s also home to Burton Coffee Stand . If you’ve spent any time at all in the Northwest, you know no day trip can properly start without a good cup of jo (or two, or three).

Along with Vashon Island Coffee Roasterie along the highway, or Pollard Per Se Coffee to the west on Bank Road, Burton Coffee Stand is one of the best spots on Vashon to get your fix. The small stand is staffed and patronized by amicable locals and features regional roasts and baked goods from nearby Snapdragon Bakery.

While in Burton, stop by the Burton Store, formally known as Harbor Mercantile, a general store built in 1908 where you can stock up on snacks and other necessities for the day.

Visit Jensen Point Park

At just four acres, Jensen Point Park is on the smaller side. But make no mistake; it is still ripe with opportunities for fun.

One of the best things to do on Vashon Island is rent a kayak here and go for a leisurely row. This spot, secluded with shallow waters, is also ideal for swimming on warm summer days. Along the shore are tables and charcoal grills, making it a great spot to stop for a picnic lunch.

Vashon Island Shoreline

Hike Shinglemill Creek Preserve

It wouldn’t be a Pacific Northwest day trip without a hike, and the  Shinglemill Creek Preserve  is one of Vashon Island’s best spots for an outdoor excursion.

Besides being on the water, hiking is the best way to take in all of the region’s mystical beauty, from lush green forests to imposing mountain ranges and misty seashores.

The Shinglemill Creek Preserve, located on the island’s north end, is a natural area composed of more than 160 acres. Take a 3-mile moderate hike through the evergreen forest along a river to the beach. Keep an eye out for hundreds of salmon splashing about beneath the river’s bridge in late summer.

Note: while the route is accessible to most active people, about a quarter-mile section is steep and can be quite slippery when damp (which is most of the time), so wear shoes with decent tread.

Visit Fern Cove

Just north of Shinglemill Creek Preserve is Fern Cove. Comprised of 750 feet of shoreline, this small but beautiful stretch of land includes two year-round streams, an estuary, and a 100-year-old second-growth forest.

The historic Belle Baldwin House, former home to Washington’s first female physician, is also on the site.

Stroll Through Dockton

Vashon Island connects to Maury Island via an isthmus the locals created in 1913. Being a separate island, it doesn’t technically count as a Vashon Island attraction, but it’s well worth visiting.

After a short drive to Maury, you’ll arrive at Dockton Park, which features a picturesque swimming beach, the perfect spot to dip a toe in the cool blue Pacific before having a picnic lunch. Then, take a stroll through Dockton to take in the town’s history via interpretive signs and exhibits stationed throughout.

Check Out Maury Island Marine Park

To the east of Dockton lies Maury Island Marine Park, one of the largest undeveloped natural areas in Puget Sound. With a mile of shoreline and stunning views of Mount Rainier, the Cascade Mountain Range, and East Passage, it’s home to blue herons, eagles, Pacific Madrone trees, and other regional flora and fauna.

See the Lighthouse at Point Robinson Park

Next up is by far one of the best things to do on the island: visiting Point Robinson Park. Best-known for the picturesque Point Robinson Lighthouse, the ten-acre shoreline park and historic marine conservancy is the perfect setting for a beach walk.

As part of the Whale Trail, Point Robinson Park is also a prime spot to observe resident orcas (year-round) or transient gray whales (in late spring through early summer).

Take one of the walking trails to explore coastal woodlands, or simply stop off at the 1885 Lighthouse if you’re short on time.

Point Robinson Lighthouse on Vashon Island

Stock Up on Fresh Produce at the Vashon Island Farmers Market

One of the main draws to those looking to explore Vashon Island is its sylvan atmosphere. Unlike some of the Sound’s larger isles, Vashon isn’t capable of supporting massive infrastructure and thus is rural by design. In part because of this, it attracts creative types and those who prefer to spend most of their days in nature, including farmers and artisans.

If you’re taking your Vashon Island day trip on a Saturday between April and December, head to the  Vashon Island Farmers Market  in the center of town outside the Vashon Island Center for the Arts. Here, you will find about 50 stalls selling everything from fresh, local produce to artisanal goods.

Take a Farm or Garden Tour

Each summer, Vashon Island Center for the Arts hosts a garden tour comprised of a self-guided tour of the isle’s most majestic gardens. On the tour, you will see a stunning array of flora as well as beautiful landscaping, unique outdoor artwork, and more.

There is also a self-guided farm tour you can take by following a map provided by the Vashon Island Grower’s Association.

For a closer look at specific farms, call ahead to inquire about individual tours. Sea Breeze Farm hosts annual interactive tours, for example, involving a day of (fun) farm work followed by a cooking class and group dinner.

Lavender Hill Farm, a certified organic lavender farm and shop with more than 20 fragrant purple plant varieties, is enchanting. Mukai Farm, a nationally registered historic farm, is another excellent stop featuring gorgeous Japanese gardens.

Explore the Town of Vashon

No Vashon Island day trip would be complete without spending some time in the town of Vashon. Like its island namesake, the town is small and eclectic. Take a stroll through town, grab a bite, and do some shopping before heading back to the mainland.

Among the best shops in town is Giraffe, which features a curated selection of ethically sourced goods from around the world, including housewares, clothes, and artwork. The Ravens Nest, a shop and Northwest Coast Native Art Gallery, is another must-visit, featuring traditional and contemporary Native works.

Looking for something new to read? Stop by Vashon Bookshop, a sweet little shop selling new and used titles. Or want to try some locally-made cider? The Nashi Orchards Tasting Room is also located in the town.

To pick up gifts, locally-made provisions, or u-pick produce, stop into  The Country Store and Farm , a nursery and farm store that has served the community for more than 57 years.

If you’re hungry, stop by one of the town’s independently-owned eateries, including Island Queen, Bramble House, Vashon Island Baking Company, Café Luna, Anu Rana’s Healthy Kitchen, or Snapdragon Bakery.

Sunset on Vashon Island

Check Out the Local Arts Scene

Known as one of Puget Sound’s creative havens, Vashon Island, similar to South Whidbey or Lopez Island in the San Juans, has a robust artist population.

Along with the Raven’s Nest, you can get a feel for the local arts scene by stopping by the Gather Gallery, Heron’s Nest Gallery, Hinge Gallery, or Vashon Island Center for the Arts.

The  Vashon Island Visual Artists  non-profit also has a map of all of the island’s art studios that are open to the public. For upcoming information on events and performing arts, check out the  Vashon Chamber of Commerce .

Have more time?

With so many things to do on Vashon Island, you could easily spend an entire weekend on the isle and still not see everything it has to offer. For instance, there are several wineries such as the Vashon Winery and Maury Island Winery to visit. There is also craft beer and cider to sample.

There are also tons more opportunities for adventure ashore on the mainland and on nearby islands.

If you have time, consider stopping by Saltwater State Park, a 137-acre plot in Des Moines, WA, between Federal Way and SeaTac Airport. The park features a sandy swimming beach in the southwest and rocky tide flats on the west, including an artificial reef popular with scuba divers.

Just west of Vashon Island is the incredible Olympic National Park , one of the region’s most magnificent treasures. This sprawling, magical evergreen forest contains waterfalls, canyons, mountains, beaches, and even an old-growth rainforest.

Hurricane Ridge in Olympic National Park

South of Olympic National Park lies some of the Washington Coast’s favorite seaside towns, including Ocean Shores and Long Beach, ideal destinations for beach vacations. Further south along the way to Portland is the stunning Oregon Coast , including Astoria, Seaside, and Cannon Beach.

And to the east is one of the Northwest’s most iconic and awe-inspiring gems, Mt. Rainier National Park, another must-visit for any trip to the Pacific Northwest. From snow-capped mountains to herds of wild deer and vibrant wildflower meadows, the expansive park is like another world.  For more sea-based adventures, consider taking a whale charter departing from Seattle or another seaside port to spy one of the region’s resident orca pods or migrant whales populations, along with seals, sea lions, otters, and other marine life.

Keen on more island-hopping? Head north from Vashon and stop by Whidbey Island and stop by the creative hippie haven of Langley, historic Coupeville, and stunning Deception Pass State Park.

Or head even further north to the San Juan Islands , another of the area’s most beloved destinations for city breaks, featuring boating and whale-watching excursions, kayaking, seaside hikes, and pastoral landscapes.

Where to Stay on Vashon Island

Beachfront Treehouse – If you want a unique stay in a beautiful setting, then this is a great option for you. This charming treehouse cottage has beautiful west-facing views of the sea, meaning that it’s perfect for catching the sunset.

Burton Waterfront Beachouse – Located in the town of Burton, this quaint cottage makes for an excellent base on Vashon Island. It can sleep up to four people, has a fully-equipped kitchen and has a wonderful deck that is located directly on the water offering up spectacular views of the Puget Sound.

There are countless things to do on Vashon Island that you could easily spend more than a day trip from here. Regardless of whether you have one day or many, there is no denying that this is a special area of Puget Sound.

This world can be serious, sad, scary,   but also amazing, beautiful, kind!!

Every day I’m excited to create pieces that bring out the happy in the lives of others.

Working with color and bits and pieces has always fascinated me. As a young mom mosaic came into my life as a surprise when friends came over for a Christmas craft day. We hot-glued colorful candy onto styrofoam cones, later I realized that was mosaic...I LOVED it! Now those bits and pieces have spilled over into my love for creating jewelry and most recently collage and painting.

My customers really seem to enjoy coming to the studio and just wandering. My collection of found objects and other "necessary" supplies has gotten a bit out of control, there's lots of eye candy for sure,   I would love for you to come and see for yourself!

2. Brian Fisher Studio

garden tour vashon

23520 147th Ave. SW

Welcome to Brian Fisher Studio, where you will find original fine art prints, paintings and sculpture.

This Holiday Art Tour, Brian explores pattern in a series he calls- “Magic Carpet Ride”. Inspired by his armchair travel through the ancient cites of the Middle East, the images were first printed as monotype papers, then cut and collaged in compositions that play with color and shape.

Also on display are his “Leo and Lang” series of linocuts and etchings based on an imagined same sex puppet relationship and his ongoing “Sacred Circle” series, of original digital prints.

Outside his studio you will find cut steel sculpture to take home for your own home and garden.

Brian often says, “The next best thing to making art is talking about art!” He encourages questions about process and the story behind each image.

Working studio and gallery featuring contemporary leather sculptures and fine leather fashion accessories. Leather is my main medium - it tells me a story, and I bring it out.

My new studio is the old Burton Post Office, where I'm creating leather-based sculpture and assemblage, as well as other leather goods based on decades working in the medium.       A passion for history and the cowboy period in the American West initially drew me to the techniques and aesthetics that are the foundation of my work. My commercial designs have been used in fashion, advertising, television and film; other creations are in private collections and museums.     This new body of work is a true departure for me and a real joy...no boundaries and 35 years of technique I can run with. I'm having a blast with these sculptures. And they seem to appeal to the hearts and sense of humor of those who stop by to see them.

Welcome to MiniHarbor Studio by solo artist Cheryl Muonio. I experiment with a variety of mediums, my current love being mixed-media acrylic paintings. I started painting in 2018 and delight in witnessing the evolution a painting takes from start to finish.

I’m self-taught and paint intuitively. I view my work as a conversation infused with love and care, each piece being an open-hearted dialogue – an invitation to bring your own emotions, memories, and experiences to the conversation or reflection. On my textured canvases you’ll find layers of affection, fragments of personal stories, and echoes of our shared love for the natural world – all waiting for you to explore and connect with.

I also delight in working with natural materials like wool and tussah silk to create both wet felted and needled felted fiber works.

Located facing Tramp Harbor, pop in to MiniHarbor Studio to enjoy both the view of the water and the art, share some conversation, and peruse the items I have for sale – including both original works and high-quality giclée prints.

VCA’s 17th Annual Miniature Show is a unique collection of over 100 pieces, all in small form; 2-D art must be no larger than 36” square inches (including frame) and 3-D work is limited to a similar size. Gallery visitors will see works by beloved Vashon artists, PNW artists they may not know, and even artists from out of state. The collection is as varied as the artists showing. All art is hand-crafted original pieces which are perfect for a holiday gift or that special nook in your home. Art is available to take home once you have purchased it (after opening weekend), just in time for your holiday gift giving.

Vashon longtime resident and fine jewelry craftsman Eric Heffelfinger showcases his work in VCA’s Gift Shop. The collection includes earrings, bracelets, chains and pendants. He works with a variety of stones including include diamonds, jade, red coral, turquoise, pearls, lapis, and many others. “I cast my first piece of jewelry when I was 15 years old. Now, some 55 years and over 5,000 pieces of jewelry later, I get the same sense of excitement as the centrifuge spins the molten metal from the crucible into the mold as I got those many years ago, casting my first piece of jewelry. The basic technique I have used is lost wax casting. Fabrication, when needed, is done afterward. The goal of my designs is to be fluid rather than sharp edged. To be water rather than rock.”

Kassana Holden Acrylic Painting & Mixed Media A native Californian, I’ve made the Northwest my home for many years. Drawn to island living after years of urban life with a background in design, I work both in my studio as a painter and as a transformational coach in private practice. Working primarily with mixed media and acrylic, I’m drawn to shape, color and layered, abstract compositions that speak to the transformative nature of how we experience things over time. 360-204-0029 kassana52@gmail.com www.kassanaholden.com https://www.instagram.com/kassanaholden/

Sara Barry Ceramic Art I grew up in an artful family so my education and love for art and design comes directly from them. When ceramics found me, it was a revelation. I was swallowed whole by the idea that I could tell stories through ceramic work and I truly have been immersed since. https://www.instagram.com/genrosefarm/ momilanismom@gmail.com

Maura McMullen Commune Jewelry I make boldly feminine gemstone jewelry as the designer behind Commune Jewelry. My designs utilize the juxtaposition of metal and stone, simple and ornate, feminine and bold by using sterling silver, gold-fill, and precious rose-cut gemstones. Like cut gemstones, our identities are multifaceted, each facet reflecting a unique aspect of ourselves. I craft each piece with the belief that jewelry is more than adornment; it's a reflection of your authentic self. My designs invite you to embrace your complexity, celebrating your unique story. Each creation is a cherished treasure, a symbol of self-expression and empowerment, reflecting your multifaceted nature. hellocommunejewelry@gmail.com https://www.communejewelry.com https://www.instagram.com/communejewelry/

Renée Marceau is an artist, farmer, and seeker of patterns. By exploring and making connections between seemingly unconnected objects through shape, color, texture and pattern, she reveals the hidden threads and symbols that dwell just beneath the physical world. Her assemblages elevate these connections and strive to capture the tension between nature’s vulnerability and it’s strength while reflecting its symbolism in our lives. Like nature, we face the tenuous edge of vulnerability and impermanence. In her view, we are not separate from nature. We are nature.

Estavan Roaché began his journey with clay at age five on a sunny day as he was unknowingly initiated into his future life through the alchemy of tasting the clay earth. After completing his MFA in Ceramics at the UW, he launched his professional career of teaching, making an artistic tile line, completing multiple public art mosaic installations, and creating sculptures and pottery. The process of working with clay and being guided by dreams and imagination are what ignites Estavan’s creative spirit. His sculptural work explores dream characters and often leads to new stories and insights into his personal and the collective mythology. His interest in tracking clay from its earth origin to finished product, fuels his artistry in traditional clay processes from throwing tea bowls to making bricks.

Estavan and Renee built Roots & Dreams Studio on their property to house each of their creative endeavors and to manifest a lifelong dream of both independent and collaborative artistry.

Lynanne Raven - Printmaker

I am a printmaker focusing on the process of drypoint   printing , by which an image is incised into a plate with a sharp pointed needle. The ink is then rubbed into the incisions and the plate is run through a printing press. This technique allows me to create a highly detailed print. As an artist and gardener, I draw inspiration from both my farm on Vashon Island and from the beauty and diversity of the Puget Sound region.

Pam Ingalls

Oil paintings, prints and cards are showing in Dig Deep Gardens’ beautiful greenhouse gallery. I have always been interested in painting things that we usually take for granted - like sunlight on a cup, or a kitchen sink. Lately I’ve also been interested in landscapes and city scapes - especially when there is water involved. I’ve had the opportunity to travel quite a bit this year, so this exhibit features paintings of European cities like Venice and Amsterdam.

There are amazing things to notice everywhere. After traveling to other countries, I see my home in Vashon with new eyes. Painting gives me a great excuse to stop time for a little while, and explore the splendor around me.

I hope my work inspires people to look twice at the beauty around them...and to find their own way to express that.

Bio Raised in Spokane, Washington, Pam Ingalls was first inspired by her parents, artists Richard and Marjorie Ingalls. She studied art at the Accademia Di Belle Arti in Florence, Italy and earned an art degree from the art department that her father began at Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA.

After exploring a few side paths—among them, walking 7000 miles for peace and building a house—Pam returned to her painting passion under the mentorship of Russian Impressionist, Ron Lukas. Her widely collected, award-winning work has been exhibited throughout the United States, Europe, and Africa, and juried into more than 125 national and international shows.

I will have several oil paintings, from small to large, available at this year's Holiday Tour. The paintings encompass a variety of subjects including still life, animals, people, landscape, and narratives.

A native of Washington, I began studying art at an early age in Yakima. Ironically, I was first exposed to the classical approach to painting and atelier style education at the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in Chongqing China (‘88-‘89) where I had private instruction in portraiture. I furthered my studies at the Gage Academy in Seattle, Grand Central Academy in New York, and Florence Academy of Art in Italy.

I continue to apply traditional techniques to modern narratives that explore the intersection of people and nature. In the last several years I have gained national momentum with features in Southwest Art Magazine, American Art Collector and showings at the Haggin Museum (CA), the Tucson Desert Art Museum (AZ), RS Hannna Gallery (TX) and a regular among finalists in the International Art Renewal Center (ARC) Salon.

In addition to these original sculptures you will also find raku fired decorative platters. Raku firing is an ancient Japanese technique developed to produce one of a kind cups for tea ceremonies. It is an unpredictable process during which the piece is pulled from the kiln while still hot, covered in sawdust and then removed to be quenched in cold water making the glaze on each sculpture or platter entirely unique.

RicWoodworking is located on the island’s north end at 11420 99th Ave SW; halfway up the ferry hill.

They make handcrafted wooden bowls, plates and vessels for functional and decorative use. Most of the wood Ric uses comes from island timber and is often given in exchange for a bowl made for the owner.

Ric began woodturning during the pandemic and now sells his pieces through SAW Gallery on Vashon, Vashon and Ballard Farmers Markets, and travels to numerous Art Fairs during the year.

Ric may also be showcasing some select images from his photo career and gallery, prior to woodworking during the studio tour weekends.

Demonstrations may also occur during the tour, rough turning, finish turning, sanding and oiling newly finished wood pieces.

For me woodturning is an art, a craft and an act of recycling. Creating a functional form in a bowl for serving, eating, collecting, storing, is craft. Trying to create beauty in form, function, design, shape, texture and visual aesthetic is art. Utilizing trees that have been downed for numerous reasons and re-purposing that wood into a functional art form is recycling and preserving one of nature’s great gifts. This work for me is the intersection of natures’ beauty being used for function and decoration in everyday life.

Metro Boomin & Future

Future and Metro Boomin are looking to heat up the summer, as the rapper-producer duo will be hitting the road in support of their pair of albums.

Future & Metro Boomin’s ‘We Still Don’t Trust You’ Album: All 25…

Live Nation announced the We Trust You Tour on Tuesday (April 16), and the arena trek is slated to kick off in Kansas City, Mo., at the T-Mobile Center on July 30. Openers and supporting acts have not yet been announced.

Metro Boomin and Future’s 27-date North American tour will be making stops in Detroit, Atlanta, Brooklyn, Boston, Philly, Houston, Toronto, Las Vegas, Seattle and more before wrapping up north of the border on Sept. 9 in Vancouver, B.C., at Rogers Arena.

Trending on Billboard

Future and Metro sprinted out of the gates with their  We Don’t Trust You  album in March, which debuted at No. 1 on the  Billboard 200  with 251,000 total album-equivalent units in the week ending March 28, per Luminate.

Album standout “Like That” featuring Kendrick Lamar’s atomic bomb on the rap game is spending a third week atop the Billboard Hot 100. The fiery track soared to No. 1 on the Hot 100 and is the first rap song to spend its first three weeks at the summit since Drake’s “Nice for What.”

“HIP HOP IS ALIVE AND WELL #WEDONTTRUSTYOU,”  Metro wrote  on social media after learning “Like That” had notched him his first No. 1 hit as a billed artist. (He previously reached the summit as a co-producer and co-writer on Migos’ “Bad & Boujee” and The Weeknd’s “Heartless.”)

The duo could be making yet another splash on the charts as Pluto and Young Metro returned to give fans 25 more tracks packaged as another album, fittingly titled We Still Don’t Trust You .
