Singapore is known to be the 6th safest country in the world. However, owing to its large influx of tourists, here are some things you need to be cautious about:  

• Be aware of pickpocketing in tourist friendly areas, including the airport!
• When it comes to laws, Singapore can be extremely strict. Therefore, make sure you follow all laws rigorously to avoid hefty fines. And yes, that includes throwing even a piece of paper! However, in case of a legit legal problem, your travel insurance will protect and cover for you.
• Commonly found in Singapore and other Asian countries, don’t fall for scam monks and nuns asking for donations. Real Buddhist monks and nuns are not likely to do that!
