West Ham Tour

I bought tickets via groupon armed with information we found the gate we needed and arrived the 15mins early as requested. We were in a group of around 25 people (a mixture of adults and children) we had fantastic tour guide (Steve) who was extremely knowledge and approachable. We got a insight into the dining experience of the rich and famous as well as walk-in to players changing rooms and the walk out through the tunnel out to the pitch. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and would highly recommend a visit to any West Ham fans.

My wife and I did the personal stadium tour. Tour guide was great, was very knowledgeable, and obviously passionate about the hammers! Was good to see players changing rooms, and good to get out in stadium itself. It’s an impressive place. Finished with a coffee and doughnut in the club shop/cafe; shop well stocked and cafe served good coffee, and had friendly staff.

Here you get to see behind the scenes of ex-Olympic stadium, now new home of West Ham Utd. The tour starts from the café underneath the club shop and takes in the corporate box, warm-up area, changing room and media rooms before finally going out pitch side to the technical area. Plenty of facts and stats provided along with a few anecdotes from Jimmy the tour guide, d’ya know what I mean!?! Whilst the stadium doesn’t have a vast amount of footballing character, you’ll marvel at the size and construction of it. At the end of the tour you get a free souvenir certificate.

We went here for the baseball classic game in June, and enjoyed our visit here. This was our first time at a sporting venue outside of the US, do we could only compare the visit to that. The layout is definitely ideal for a football/soccer layout; it was definitely a strange layout for a baseball game, but it was definitely made to work. The concessions are all on the main (bottom) level of the stadium. There are definitely no shortage of concession stands, as well....with the number of stands, there never seemed to be a wait. Compared to US sporting venues, there wasn't a variety of food options through the different stands, but you can definitely make yourself full with what was there in a heartbeat! And, there was most certainly no shortage of locations to purchase adult beverages!! The staff here (event staff and vendors) were all very friendly, despite the large crowds....overall, we enjoyed going here for the game.

The stadium is very polished and is beginning to feel like a football stadium and not just a multi purpose venue now, the big issues with no phone signal still remains, but overall the experience is much better than years gone past.

What happens on the day?

On arrival at the London Stadium, you’ll need to head to Entrance B, where you’ll show your booking confirmation to be checked in and pass security. Once in the stadium and ready, your tour will begin. You’ll get to see London Stadium in all its glory, visiting parts normally off-limits to the general public, all while a West Ham legend regales you with tales of their career and personal stories.

Your tour will finish with a 30 minute Q&A, so have your questions at the ready! You’ll have a signed picture of the legend and the rest of the group to take home, as well as a stadium tour certificate.

Great day out. Our guide Simon and his colleagues were very attentive and supportive. Our host, Alvin Martin, was fantastic and a real legend and gave us lots of great stories of his playing days. Even my wife enjoyed the visit although she is not a football fan. This was my first visit to the London Stadium although in the 70's and 80's I was a regular visitor to the Boleyn Ground. It is a fantastic stadium and I must try and see a game there but live 120 miles away.

My kids bought me the Legend tour at the London Stadium for Christmas. I booked it easily online and chose the tour with Phil Parkes, goalkeeper and West Ham Legend. An amazing tour, chatting with the man himself, hearing his stories, viewing the stadium from up high, walking down the tunnel onto the pitch, seeing the changing rooms, restaurants and bars and player entrance and then an autographed photo taken with Phil. A truly wonderful day that I will never forget. Thanks.

Superb tour of the stadium with a legend

You get shown around the stadium by a legend, ours was Alvin Martin. He was awesome, so many fun stories told, and he was happy to answer any questions you have. The tour takes in all the main areas like the VIP box, changing rooms, tunnel, and pitchside. You also get a signed photo included, and the legend will also sign anything you take that you want signed. I learnt so much about the club on this tour, such a fun day!

The legends tour at the London Stadium is perfect for a Hammers fan. It’s well organised with a tour guide and a West Ham legend giving an insight to the club and ground. It ends with a Q&A session in the press room and a photo session with the star. One photo is included in the price.Booking wasn’t too easy couldn’t do it on line but managed by phone. The joining instructions we clear and we were picked up on time by tour staff. Overall a great day.

On the Olympic Stadium Tour, there will be opportunities to watch goals and races, walk through the player’s tunnel, race on the indoor running track, see the manager’s dug out, the changing rooms and have an amazing panoramic view from a seat in the stands. West Ham announce pre-season US tour

W est Ham are to face fellow Premier Leagues sides Wolves and Crystal Palace in pre-season friendlies in the US as the compete for the inaugural Stateside Cup.

The Hammers will face Wolves in Jacksonville on Saturday 27th July before they travel to Tampa to play Crystal Palace on Saturday 3rd August.

The club's chief commercial officer Nathan Thompson said: "We’re really excited to be heading Stateside this summer for our pre-season tour.

“The US market is key for West Ham United, and the club’s presence, fan-base and status continues to grow significantly in the States.

“We can’t wait to play the matches and deliver unique experiences and opportunities for our fans and partners in America.”

It will be West Ham's first trip to the States since 2016.

Crystal Palace, West Ham, Wolves in talks for US pre-season mini tour

West Ham United , Crystal Palace and Wolverhampton Wanderers are in advanced discussions to play in a new pre-season Premier League mini tour in the United States this summer.

Elite Tournaments — an organisation best known for staging youth soccer and lacrosse competitions — are in negotiations with the clubs to host the three-city Premier League event in late July.

Matches will be staged at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Maryland, Everbank Stadium in Jacksonville and a yet-to-be confirmed stadium in Tampa Bay.

Newcastle United and newly-promoted Leicester City had agreed to the proposal but dropped out, with the latter being replaced by Palace.

Last season, a number of England ’s top-flight clubs participated in the inaugural Premier League Summer Series, featuring Chelsea , Brighton , Brentford , Newcastle, Fulham , and Aston Villa . The matches were held across Philadelphia, Atlanta, Orlando, New Jersey, and Maryland.

The Athletic  reported in February that the 2024 Summer Series was cancelled due to several complications around organising the event, including issues around broadcasting. They are, however, looking at holding the series again in 2025.

With Manchester United , Manchester City , Chelsea, Liverpool , Aston Villa and Bournemouth already scheduled to tour America this summer, the new series will take that number to 10 Premier League sides playing pre-season games across the Atlantic.

Top clubs in England are prioritising the U.S. due to expected market congestion in 2025 and 2026 with the FIFA Club World Cup and the men’s World Cup.

Pre-season tours are considered crucial for clubs to engage with growing fan bases in key markets. For instance, Arsenal boasts more supporters’ clubs in the U.S. than there are states, and Manchester United connected with over 4,000 supporters through various club-affiliated events last summer.
