Metallica Announces M72 WORLD TOUR 2023

Metallica’s M72 world tour has been announced today alongside the release of their new single “Lux Æterna.” See their last documented setlist from 11/6/22 here . The upcoming dates will consist of two shows in every city, with a different setlist and support lineup for each night.

Special guests for the 2023-2024 dates varies on the date of the show, but overall consists of support from Architects, Mammoth WVH, Five Finger Death Punch, Volbeat and Ice Nine Kills in Europe. The North American shows will include support ranging from Pantera, Mammoth WVH, Five Finger Death Punch, Ice Nine Kills and Greta Van Fleet.

¡Metallica viene a México! Estas son las fechas de su M72 World Tour

Una de las bandas más queridas regresa a nuestro país con 4 fechas en total..

Metallica se presentará en México promovido por Live Nation y OCESA , la gira mundial M72 hará que la banda toque dos fines de semana en México, y dos noches en el resto de las ciudades.

Este tour contará con un nuevo y espectacular diseño de escenario redondo que reubica el famoso "Snake Pit" de Metallica en el centro del escenario, así como el abono “I Disappear” y el debut de boletos con descuento para los fans menores de 16 años.

Algo que debemos recalcar es que una parte de las ganancias de cada boleto vendido se destinará a la fundación de la agrupación “All Within My Hands” . Fundada en 2017, brinda y enriquece las vidas de los miembros de las comunidades que han apoyado a la banda, han recaudado casi 13 millones de dólares, más de 2.5 millones de dólares para combatir la inseguridad alimentaria y más de 3.2 millones de dólares para los esfuerzos de ayuda en caso de desastres en todo el mundo.

“Quieres una gira, tenemos una gira… ¿qué tal dos años completos de espectáculos?!?!”, es como anuncia Metallica que tendrá una nueva gira, ‘M72 World Tour’, la cual inicia en 2023 por Europa y Norteamérica; terminará en la Ciudad de México.

La banda de metal estadounidense detalló que a partir de abril de 2023, visitarán 22 ciudades diferentes alrededor del mundo tocando dos noches en cada ciudad; con cada espectáculo “No Repeat Weekend” una experiencia completamente única: dos listas de canciones totalmente diferentes con dos bandas diferentes abriendo el espectáculo cada noche. “Compre un boleto de dos días y no verá la misma canción dos veces para un total de más de 30 canciones que abarcan nuestros más de 40 años de tener la suerte de hacer música. La mayoría de los espectáculos (lo siento, no todos, ¡lo intentamos!) serán los viernes y domingos, por lo que nos aseguraremos de tener muchos eventos extracurriculares para que pases el rato con otros fanáticos de Metallica antes de que comiencen los espectáculos”, dijeron los músicos a través de su página oficial.

El grupo estadounidense de thrash metal hará este tour centrado en su nuevo álbum 72 Seasons, el cual se publicará el 14 de abril de 2023 con 12 temas.

Este trabajo llega seis años después de  ‘Hardwired… to Self-Destruct’  y es el duodécimo álbum de estudio de su carrera, producido por Greg Fidelman junto a los miembros de la banda Lars Ulrich y James Hetfield.

La gira M72 World Tour comenzará el 27 y 29 de abril de 2023 en Ámsterdam y pasará por 22 ciudades más, entre ellas París (17 y 19 de mayo de 2023), Hamburgo (26 y 28 de mayo de 2023), Múnich (24 y 26 de mayo de 2024), Madrid (12 y 14 de julio de 2024),Chicago (9 y 11 de agosto de 2024) y cierra en la Ciudad de México en septiembre de 2024 con cuatro conciertos en el Foro Sol:

-20 y 27 de septiembre: con Greta Van Fleet y Mammoth WVH como teloneros.

-22 y 29 de septiembre con Five Finger Death Punch y Ice Nine Kills.

Además, un porcentaje de cada entrada será para la fundación de Metallica All Within My Hands, la cual busca ayudar a la creación de comunidades sostenibles basadas en la educación y la lucha contra el hambre; el precio aún no se ha revelado.

La banda estrenó, al mismo tiempo en que anunció esta nueva gira, el video de la canción, Eternal Light que forma parte de su más reciente producción que será disponible por completo el 14 de abril.

Metallica Announces M72 World Tour 2023-2024

Today marks the announcement of every Metallica show booked through 2023 and 2024: Presented worldwide by Liquid Death and Blackened American Whiskey (in North America only) and promoted by Live Nation, Metallica’s M72 world tour will see the band playing two nights in every city it visits—with each No Repeat Weekend featuring two completely different setlists and support lineups. The M72 tour will feature a bold new in-the-round stage design that relocates the famed Metallica Snake Pit to center stage, as well as the I Disappear full-tour pass and the debut of discounted tickets for fans under 16 years of age. Two-day tickets will be on sale Friday, December 2 nd at ticketmaster.com and will include the option of pre-ordering 72 Seasons vinyl and/or CD. A portion of proceeds from every ticket sold will go to the band’s All Within My Hands foundation . Metallica has announced the title and release date of its forthcoming 12th studio album: 72 Seasons will be available April 14, 2023 via the band’s own Blackened Recordings, and is available for pre-order .

A portion of proceeds from every ticket from the ‘M72’ tour sold will go to the band’s All Within My Hands foundation. Founded in 2017, AWMH’s efforts to assist and enrich the lives of members of the communities who have supported the band have raised nearly $13 million – providing $5.9 million in grants to career and technical education programs in the US, over $2.5 million to combat food insecurity, and more than $3.2 million to disaster relief efforts worldwide.

Citi is the official card of the ‘M72’ Tour. Citi cardmembers will have access to presale tickets in the U.S. beginning Wednesday, November 30th at 2:00 pm local time until Thursday, December 1st at 10:00 pm local time through the Citi Entertainment program.

Metallica Announce Massive “M72 World Tour,” with Different Setlists and Openers

Pantera, Mammoth WVH, Greta Van Fleet, and Five Finger Death Punch will take turns opening for the legendary metal band

Metallica have announced the “M72 World Tour,” a massive global trek that will see the legendary metal band play stadiums across North America and Europe throughout 2023 and 2024. The tour comes in support of the band’s upcoming album, 72 Seasons , which will be released on April 14th, 2023.

The “M72 World Tour” will see Metallica playing two nights in every city on their tour docket, with the promise of completely different setlists and support lineups. The rotating cast of opening acts include Pantera , Mammoth WVH, Greta Van Fleet, Five Finger Death Punch, Volbeat, Architects, and Ice Nine Kills. Additionally, the tour will feature a new in-the-round stage design that relocates the famed Metallica Snake Pit to center stage.
