In 2019 Cruise Belfast opened the first dedicated cruise terminal on the island of Ireland. The purpose built facility can accommodate all vessels currently operating in the UK and Ireland region.

The cruise terminal is 4 miles from Belfast City Centre. Belfast Port is conveniently located close to the motorway network off junction 1 of the M2 motorway, offering easy access from Belfast city centre and the rest of Ireland.

A new cruise terminal opened in 2019 accommodating larger ships. If shuttles are not provided, you can walk to the main road and take bus 94 to city hall. This new terminal (2019) can accommodate ships with up to 6,000 passengers and crew and it has a smart cruise visitor information centre, a gift shop, plenty of seating and free wifi plus a large coach parking area and space for shuttle buses and taxis.
