Ryan seacrest & vanna white give 'wheel of fortune' set tour, reveal secrets.

LOS ANGELES -- A new era of "Wheel of Fortune" begins Monday, Sept. 9 with new host Ryan Seacrest joining Vanna White on the popular TV game show.

Before the new season premiere, On The Red Carpet's George Pennacchio visited Ryan and Vanna on the "Wheel of Fortune" set and George asked Ryan what it felt like the first time he walked onto the famous stage.

"My jaw drops," Seacrest said. "You're in awe. You've seen it on TV. It's just like anything else. When you see it on TV and you see it in person, it's just a different perspective. The set is huge. The wheel is heavy. The clicks are consistent. It's like rubber bands that make the sound. I didn't know that."

Ryan may have a lot to learn, but thankfully, Vanna White, a longtime veteran of the show is there to help and she's impressed by what she's seen from Ryan so far.

"I'm amazed. I am just amazed because it's a lot harder than it looks," she said. "But he makes it look so easy, so he's doing a great job."

During George's set tour, he learned secrets about the letter board, the wheel itself and more!

Also Vanna revealed which question audience members ask her the most.

Usher’s Recent ‘Past Present Future Tour’ Stop Featured A Full-On NSFW Strip Club Segment For All To Enjoy

Due to doctor ordered delays , Usher’s Past Present Future Tour didn’t start off on the right foot. However, the “ Luckiest Man ” singer has surely made up for hiccup.

Yesterday (September 6), during Usher’s first night in Brooklyn he brought a little piece of his seemingly second favorite hometown staple with him — strip clubs. While at the Barclays Center, Usher transferred the stage into his own mobile exotic peep show. Although this isn’t new by any means for Usher, just see his Las Vegas residency show, but this time he was along in his tantalizing quest.

Three leading ladies in their own right, Taraji P. Henson, Victoria Monét, and Yung Miami joined Usher for the sensual showcase. As the performer showed off her gymnast moves each lady threw money to show their mesmerized support (viewable here ).

At one point, Victoria Monét even ever so slightly participated before allowing to professional to put it down (or up rather). Usher has a lot of tricks in his books but none quite like his featured supporting act.

Prior to the rated R demonstration, Usher took a moment to acknowledge his “ SOS (Sex On Sight) ” collaborator, Victoria’s breakout year. “We love you baby girl,” he said before paying her hit song “ On My Mama ” over the venue’s speakers (viewable here )

Usher’s Past Present Future Tour won’t officially wrap in the US until mid-November, so there’s no telling what else he has planned.

Jamie Foxx is ready to tell all about the medical emergency that left him hospitalized and fighting for his life last year — in a special that will be taped for Netflix .

In April 2023, the Oscar and Grammy winner was sidelined by a sudden, serious medical complication and hospitalized in Atlanta. No official cause has been disclosed, though Foxx has alluded to the severity of his condition in the months since. Most recently, Foxx revealed (via Art of Dialogue ) that it started with a “bad headache,” but then he was “gone for 20 days” and woke up with no memory of what happened.

“We’re gonna get back to the stand-up sort of roots,” Foxx explained, revealing that the show would be titled “What Had Happened Was” and would delve into the details of his health scare, as well as the outpouring of well-wishes (and online rumors) that followed his hospitalization. It was later reported (via Bloomberg ) that Netflix won the rights to Foxx’s special in a competitive situation.

On Monday, Foxx shared more details about the one-man show via Instagram, where he teased a three-night engagement set for October 3-5 in Atlanta.

“Join us for an unforgettable one-man show as Jamie Foxx takes the stage to share his journey through a serious health scare, filled with humor, heart, and inspiration!” the caption to the post reads. “Experience Jamie Foxx like never before in this intimate and engaging performance, as he opens up about his struggles, triumphs, and everything in between. Get ready for a night of laughter, reflection, and genuine connection.”

Foxx’s condition was kept a closely guarded secret in adherence to his family’s calls for privacy. Foxx’s daughter, Corrine, announced her dad’s hospitalization on Instagram in a post published April 12, 2023. “We wanted to share that my father Jamie Foxx experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily due to quick action and great care he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers,” she wrote at the time.

In July, Foxx shared an emotional video message addressing the severity of the situation.

“I went through something I thought I would never, ever go through,” Foxx shared on social media last summer. “I know a lot of people were waiting or wanting to hear updates, but to be honest with you, I just didn’t want you to see me like that. I want you to see me laughing, having a good time, partying, cracking a joke, doing a movie, television show. I didn’t want you to see me with tubes running out of me, and trying to figure if I was gonna make it through.”

He continued: “I went to hell and back. And my road to recovery had some potholes as well. But I’m coming back and I’m able to work. So I want to thank the people who let me work. I just want to say that I love everybody and I love all the love that I got.”

Comedian Atsuko Okatsuka is set to debut her sophomore special on Hulu in the U.S. and Disney+ internationally, Disney announced on Tuesday.

Okatsuka is getting into business with Hulu after debuting her first special, The Intruder , on HBO in 2022. While no title or logline for her new hour has been disclosed, she’ll tape it at El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood on Saturday November 9 as part of a newly added date on her 2024 “Full Grown Tour,” produced by Live Nation. Further information, including its premiere date, is forthcoming.

In total, Okatsuka’s “Full Grown Tour” will feature over 200 shows in 100+ cities, with over 100,000 tickets sold. Known for viral stunts like the #DropChallenge, which she created with her grandmother, she released her first comedy album But I Control Me with Comedy Dynamics in 2020.

As an actress, Okatsuka has been seen on series like Room 104 and History of the World: Part II and in indies like All That We Love and Scare Package . She lent her voice to Sony’s Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and will next be seen in Apple’s comedy Outcome co-written, directed, produced by and starring Jonah Hill.

Okatsuka’s special comes to Hulu as part of its new stand-up comedy brand , Hularious, which launches in November with a new special from Jim Gaffigan. Recently, the streamer has also announced forthcoming specials from Bill Burr, Roy Wood Jr. and Ilana Glazer, with more soon to be unveiled. As part of its new comedy initiative, Hulu is also launching a curated collection of licensed stand-up specials ranging from iconic comedy specials to recent releases from 800 Pound Gorilla and Comedy Dynamics, among others.

The Monochrome Set are an indie rock band originating from Hornsey, London. They bands formation dates back to 1978 and ever since they have enjoyed a long and successful career. Their line-up has varied over the years arriving at their current line-up featuring original members. To date, they have released an impressive eleven studio albums, a number of EPs and demos. Their most recent studio full length was released in 2011, titled Super Plastic City. They accompanied this with a tour of the UK – both of which received a great deal of praise as people were clearly happy to see The Monochrome Set return with such strong material.

The thing about The Monochrome Set’s live performances is that they are more than just a live band. In the beginning, they collaborated with the experimental film maker Tony Pott who created a number of bizarre stage images using various film projections. They continue with their commitment to alternative, atmospheric shows which show how they are not only musicians but artists. Whilst their live shows have toned down recently, their musicianship shines through. They open with the low-key but familiar song ‘The Monochrome Set’ and blast through more upbeat tracks including ‘The Jet Set Junta’ and of course ‘Jacob’s Ladder’. The people who attend Monochrome Set shows tend to be age-old fans but they are also popular among new indie fans. It is perhaps their classic London vibe and distinctive talent on the bass and guitar that make them so special. Live shows are the place that their uniqueness and talent truly come to live. They have been a band for 26 years and I hope they carry on for a few more years yet!

The Monochrome Set have been part of my musical life since late 1970's. So many brilliant singles & albums. Recent gig at York , ( 27/05/2017 ) was everything a fan of the music , could hope for. Bid ( vocals/guitar ) , Andy Warren ( bass ) , are now with a keyboard maestro ! Sounds of Vox / Farfisa organs abound, ( & he makes it look so easy ).If you love 'em...you will love them still, live. So many bands took a lot of inspiration, & why not , ( Smiths / Richard Hawley etc.. ) but they will always be unique.

Not at their best, the show lacked a bit of energy and a solo guitarist. Shame really great band otherwise. Great venue though would love to see more bands that the Ivy House in Nunhead.
