Alt-country outfit, The Wilder Blue, has a busy 2024 ahead of them as they balance supporting slots with Luke Combs, as well as their own headlining Super Natural Tour.

Kicking off in February 2024, the crew will make stops across Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Idaho, Montana, Florida and more as they play tunes from the recently released third album, Super Natural.

Come April, the band can be found warming up the stage for country hitmaker Luke Combs during his extensive Growin' Up and Gettin' Old Tour.

The Wilder Blue, who at the end of last year tapped Combs for a duet of their Steve Young cover, 'Seven Bridges Road' , will be on hand for shows in Wisconsin, New York, Florida, Texas, California, Arizona, Utah, Ohio and more.

Apart from that, the band will also be on hand at a couple of country music festivals throughout the year, including FloydFest 2024 and the Texas Country Music Cruise.

The Wilder Blue Drop New Single “I’m Your Man,” Just In Time For Tour With Luke Combs

wilder blue tour schedule

Just a few months after the release of their latest album  Super Natural , The Wilder Blue is back at it with new, must-listen music.

Titled “I’m Your Man,” the band’s latest single is a honky tonk heater that’ll be right at home at dancehalls across Texas, in stadiums across the country as they open for Luke Combs, and everywhere in between. With clever, catchy lyricism and a sound reminiscent of the ’90s country we all know and love, “I’m Your Man” is one of The Wilder Blue’s best singles yet, and couldn’t have been released at a better time as they head out on the road to play their biggest shows to date.

In an Instagram post, The Wilder Blue provided some brief context behind the song.

“During a short studio stint in January, we were in the mood to mess around with some 90’s influenced honkytonk sounds and we all felt this song fit the bill.

It’s a fun little tune Zane wrote in his head while driving the bus up and down the road, and Paul’s Tele with the G and B benders provided maximum twang. We self-produced this one and had a lot of fun being ourselves in the studio.”

Give the “I’m Your Man” a listen here:

Led by frontman Zane Williams, who has already had an admirable solo career on the Texas scene before forming the band, The Wilder Blue is comprised of guitarist Paul Eason, Sean Rodriguez on bass, drummer Lyndon Hughes, and multi-instrumentalist Andy Rogers. Together, these guys bring a fresh take on a classic country music sound and sure aren’t afraid to rock and roll a little bit.

Williams, who is responsible for the majority of the band’s songwriting, released eight solo albums between 2006 and 2019, and as a result, already had a strong individual following as a respected and experienced songwriter.

Initially teaming up with Eason in 2019 after the release of his last solo album to bring the idea of The Wilder Blue to life, Williams brings his top tier songwriting to the table and the band he and Eason formed around it provides the perfect sound to back it up.

With three albums under their belt in as many years, The Wilder Blue has already received some impressively momentous endorsements from heavy hitters across the country music industry, especially from superstar Luke Combs who is not only bringing them with him on tour but also featured on The Wilder Blue’s cover of The Eagles’ “Seven Bridges Road” on  Super Natural .

Check that song out along with a couple more of my favorites form their catalog below.

“Seven Bridges Road (Extended Version)” ft. Luke Combs – Super Natural

“Hey Susanna” –  Hill Country

“Feelin’ the Miles” –  The Wilder Blue

Make sure to catch The Wilder Blue live when they come to a city near you this year. Something tells me that they’re on the verge of quite the breakthrough as their music continues to reach the masses, and the sky’s the limit from here.

Have tickets for Luke Combs' concerts in Jacksonville? Here's what you need to know

wilder blue tour schedule

A little less than eight years ago, Luke Combs was fairly unknown, playing clubs like the old Mavericks Live in the Jacksonville Landing. Now he’s headlining two shows at EverBank Stadium , and doing the same at stadiums across the country.

In the intervening years, he’s gotten three Grammy nominations, been named Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year twice, released one of the funniest Number One hits in years with “When It Rains It Pours” and brought down the house at a nationally televised Grammy Awards show by duetting with Tracy Chapman on her hit “Fast Car.”

Combs plays Friday, May 3, and Saturday, May 4, at the stadium, with a different cast of opening acts each night.

Here's what you need to know about the shows.

Where is Luke Combs playing in Jacksonville?

Luke Combs will play two concerts at Jacksonville's EverBank Stadium , the home of the Jaguars .

Can I still get tickets for the Luke Combs concerts?

Yes, through the stadium’s website, everbankstadium.com. Combs will have a general admission “pit” near the front of the stage, where tickets are $176. Seated areas on the floor go for $119.50-$176. Seats in the bowl are $59.50-$219.50.

Does one ticket get me into both Luke Combs concerts?

Afraid not. The events are separately ticketed.

Has Luke Combs ever played a concert in Jacksonville?

Combs’ history of playing live in Jacksonville goes back to July of 2016, when he played at the old Mavericks Live in the Jacksonville Landing. He also played at the Florida Theatre in December of 2017, the Players Championship Military Appreciation Day in May of 2018 and VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in October of 2021.

More big concerts in 2024: 24 big shows coming to Jacksonville in 2024: Strait, Willie, McGraw, NKOTB

What other stadiums is Luke Combs playing on the Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old Tour?

The tour includes stops at the home stadiums of the Milwaukee Brewers, Buffalo Bills, Penn State Nittany Lions, Texas-San Antonio Roadrunners, San Francisco 49ers, Arizona Cardinals, Utah Utes, Los Angeles Rams/Chargers, New York Giants/Jets, Washington Commanders, Cincinnati Bengals and Houston Texans. He’s playing back-to-back nights at all of the shows except Penn State.

Will Luke Combs play “Fast Car” and my other favorites?

That’s hard to say for certain, but it seems likely. Combs played back-to-back nights in April in Milwaukee and played “Fast Car” and “When It Rains It Pours” both nights.

What songs is Luke Combs singing on tour in 2024? And is he signing the same songs both nights?

In Milwaukee, Combs played 25 songs during the first night’s show. He mixed up the order, but 20 of the 25 songs were repeated at the second night’s show.

Where can I park for the Luke Combs concerts?

The stadium’s website has a link to parking options , ranging from $49-$107.50. There are thousands of spots in lots and garages in the nearby downtown area, but many of those will be occupied by workers on Friday.

Getting there: How to get to events at EverBank Stadium

What time do parking lots open for the Luke Combs concerts?

How many people will be at the luke combs concert .

Officials are expecting around 45,000-50,000 fans at each night’s show.

What time does the stadium open for the Luke Combs concert?

Gates open at 5 p.m.

Can I jump into the EverBank Stadium swimming pools if I get overheated during the Luke Combs shows?

No, the “spas” on the north end of the stadium will not be open during the concerts. The entire north end of the stadium, which is behind the stage, will be closed to the public. The seats in Daily’s Place, the amphitheater attached to the southern end of the stadium, will be used as a cooling-off area for fans.

Desperately seeking shade: Where fans can find the coolest spots at TIAA Bank Field

Can I leave the stadium and come back in?

No. There is no re-entry allowed.

What time does the first act come on stage?

Showtime is 5:40 p.m. both nights. Combs is scheduled to take the stage at 9 p.m.

Who is opening for Luke Combs in Jacksonville?

The opening acts for Friday's show are The Wilder Blue , Hailey Whitters , Charles Wesley Godwin and Cody Jinks .

The opening acts for Saturday's show are Colby Acuff , Drew Parker , Mitchell Tenpenny and Jordan Davis .

Will the Luke Combs concerts be rescheduled if it rains?

As the man himself says, “when it rains, it pours.” Acts may be postponed due to lightning, but the shows are rain or shine. The stage will be covered, but the fans won’t be.

What can I bring with me to the Luke Combs concert?

Policies will be the mostly the same as at a Jaguars game. You can bring in one factory-sealed water bottle that is 16.9 ounces or less. All bags brought into the stadium must be clear and no larger than 12-by-6-by-12 inches. Backpacks of any kind (even clear) are prohibited, and no outside food or beverages are permitted.

Can I bring a camera to the Luke Combs concert?

Not if it has a detachable lens, but you can shoot all the photos you want with your cell phone. Go-Pros, HD video cameras and drones are also prohibited.

I have a gift for Luke Combs. Can I bring it to the show?

Sorry, you’ll have to find another way to get it to him. “Wrapped gifts for the artists” are specifically prohibited. Also, you can’t profess your love for him (or deliver any other message) on a sign larger than 16-by-20 inches.

Can I hold up my phone and record the whole Luke Combs concert?

There’s no rule against that, but the people sitting behind you will hate you for it.

Theatres in Moscow

Cultural life of Moscow city is various and rich! Operas, ballets, symphonic concerts... Russian composers have created some of the most beautiful classical music. Russian classical music is very popular in Moscow. It is performed in many beautiful historical venues. Do not forget to include a visit to a concert hall in your itinerary when you are planning your stay in Moscow! And do it in advance.

There are almost no restrictions on dress code in Russian theatres. Visitors may wear jeans and sports shoes, they may have a backpack with them. Only shorts are not allowed.

A typical feature of Russian theatre – visitors are bringing a lot of flowers which they present to their favorite performers after the show.

Here are some practical advices where to go and how to buy tickets.

The Bolshoi Theatre

The Bolshoi Theatre is the oldest, the most famous and popular opera and ballet theatre in Russia. The word “Bolshoi” means “big” in Russian. You can buy a ticket online in advance, 2-3 months before the date of performance on the official website . Prices for famous ballets are high: 6-8 thousand rubles for a seat in stalls. Tickets to operas are cheaper: you can get a good seat for 4-5 thousand rubles. Tickets are cheaper for daytime performances and performances on the New Stage. The New Stage is situated in the light-green building to the left of the Bolshoi's main building. The quality of operas and ballets shown on the New Stage is excellent too. However, you should pay attention that many seats of the Bolshoi’s Old and New Stages have limited visibility . If you want to see the Bolshoi’s Old Stage but all tickets are sold out, you can order a tour of the theatre. You can book such a tour on the official website.

If you want, following Russian tradition, to give flowers to the performers at the end of the show, in the Bolshoi flowers should be presented via special staff who collects these flowers in advance.

In August the Bolshoi is closed.

The Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Music Theatre

This theatre is noteworthy. On one hand, it offers brilliant classical opera and ballet performances. On the other hand, it is an experimental venue for modern artists. You can check the program and buy tickets online here http://stanmus.com/ . If you are opera lover, get a ticket to see superstar Hibla Gerzmava . The theatre has a very beautiful historic building and a stage with a good view from every seat. Tickets are twice cheaper than in the Bolshoi.

The Novaya Opera

“Novaya” means “New” in Russian. This opera house was founded in 1991 by a famous conductor Eugene Kolobov. Its repertoire has several directions: Russian and Western classics, original shows and divertissements, and operas of the 20th and 21st centuries. It is very popular with Muscovites for excellent quality of performances, a comfortable hall, a beautiful Art Nouveau building and a historic park Hermitage, which is situated right next to it. You can buy tickets online here http://www.novayaopera.ru/en .

Galina Vishnevskaya Opera Center

The Opera Center has become one of the best theatrical venues in Moscow. It was founded in 2002 by great diva Galina Vishnevskaya. Nowadays its artistic director is Olga Rostropovich, daughter of Galina Vishnevskaya and her husband Mstislav Rostropovich, great cellist and conductor. Not only best young opera singers perform here, but also world music stars do; chamber and symphonic concerts, theatrical productions and musical festivals take place here. You can see what is on the program here http://opera-centre.ru/theatre . Unfortunately “booking tickets online” is available in Russian only. If you need help, you can contact us at and we can book a ticket for you.

Tchaikovsky Concert Hall and The Great Hall of Moscow Conservatory

These are two major concert halls for symphonic music in Moscow. Both feature excellent acoustics, impressive interior, various repertoire and best performers. You can check the program here http://meloman.ru/calendar/ . You need just to switch to English. Booking tickets online is available only for owners of Russian, Ukrainian and Belorussian phone numbers. If you need help, you can contact us and we can book a ticket for you.

Moscow International Performing Arts Center (MIPAC)

This modern and elegant concert hall houses performances of national and foreign symphony orchestras, chamber ensembles, solo instrumentalists, opera singers, ballet dancers, theatre companies, jazz bands, variety and traditional ensembles. Actually, it has three concert halls placed on three different levels and having separate entrances. The President of MIPAC is People’s Artist of the USSR Vladimir Spivakov, conductor of “Virtuosy Moskvy” orchestra. You can see pictures of the concert halls here http://www.mmdm.ru/en/content/halls . The program is impressive in its variety but is not translated into English. You can contact us at and we can find a performance for you.

Thanks for contacting us. We've received your submission.

One round down, three to go.

After making quick work of LeBron James and the Lakers, Nikola Jokic’s 2023 NBA Champion Denver Nuggets have advanced to the Western Conference Semifinals for a second consecutive season.

They’ll be facing off against Karl Anthony-Towns’ upstart Timberwolves who took down the Suns in the Divisional Series. Minnesota’s impressive sweep over Phoenix marks the first time the franchise has advanced to the second round of the postseason since 2004.

Even if they haven’t gone far in the past two decades, the Timberwolves still have quite a bit of history with the Nuggets.

In last year’s first round, Denver handily defeated Minnesota in five games thanks to impressive high scoring efforts from Jokic and Jamal Murray.

And if you want to be there to ensure the Nuggets repeat or the Timberwolves shock the world, tickets are available for all seven hypothetical games at Denver’s Ball Arena or Minnesota’s Target Center .

At the time of publication, ticket prices at Ball Arena start at $118 before fees on Vivid Seats.

For fans in Minnesota, the lowest price we could find on seats at the Target Center was $140 before fees .

Looking for a few more details before smashing that buy button ?

We’ve got everything you need to know and more about the Nuggets vs. Timberwolves playoff series below.

All prices listed above are subject to fluctuation.

Win Free Tickets to Our 'The Blue Angels' IMAX Screening With Q&A

Director Paul Crowder will join us on May 8 for an exclusive Q&A.

The Big Picture

  • Collider is teaming up with IMAX and Prime Video for an advanced screening of The Blue Angels , followed by an exclusive Q&A.
  • Director Paul Crowder will join us after the documentary for a Q&A.
  • Read below for details on how to enter for a chance to win tickets to the Los Angeles screening on May 8 at 7pm.

For our next advanced screening event, Collider is honored to be partnering with IMAX and Prime Video to take flight on a breathtaking adventure in The Blue Angels in IMAX. Produced by Glen Powell ( Top Gun: Maverick ) and J.J. Abrams ( Star Trek ) with Bad Robot Productions, this is an IMAX experience you can’t miss out on, and we want you to join us before the documentary’s official launch in theaters and on streaming with Prime Video. We’re also excited to announce that director Paul Crowder ( Amazing Journey: The Story of the Who ) will attend for an exclusive Q&A after the documentary.

In 2022, Top Gun: Maverick dominated theaters for months, racing past milestone after milestone. Part of that appeal was no doubt the legacy sequel aspect that brought back Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer , but it was the aerial stunts and the POV from the cockpit that wowed audiences into two, three, four visits to the theater. In The Blue Angels , we strap in for never-before-seen footage of the Navy’s elite Flight Demonstration Squadron , real-life pilots who dedicate their lives to this passion, working in tandem to showcase the teamwork of the United States Navy. In the documentary, filmed specifically for IMAX, we’ll get to see not only their skills but the selection process, their rigorous training, and the demanding show season as they train five new recruits.

‘The Blue Angels’ IMAX Screening Details

If you’re in the Los Angeles area or have the means to get there, come join us on Wednesday, May 8 near LAX. The IMAX screening begins at 7 pm. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to catch The Blue Angels the way it was intended to be seen and felt on the biggest screen. After the credits roll, we’ll be joined by director Paul Crowder.

How to Get ‘The Blue Angels’ Tickets

To enter for a chance to win tickets, hit this link to provide us with your email address , and be sure to let us know if you'd like to bring a guest with you. RSVP as soon as possible to make sure you get a seat. We'll contact the winners in the days leading up to May 8, so keep an eye out.

The Blue Angels will open exclusively in IMAX on May 17 before heading to streaming on Prime Video on May 23.

Esperanza Spalding , the five-time Grammy winner and bass virtuoso, is returning to New York’s Blue Note Jazz Club with a 12-night residency in early 2025.

Spalding will play two shows each night — that’s 24 shows total — from Feb. 18 to 23 and from Feb. 25 to March 2. As per usual with the Blue Note, the first set will begin at 8 p.m. and the second will start at 10:30 p.m. Tickets are available for purchase here .

Popular on Variety

Earlier this month, the Blue Note announced a mini residency from Killer Mike and the Mighty Midnight Revival, who will be taking the stage at the intimate club from July 29-31. Other upcoming shows at the Greenwich Village institution include Andra Day, Marc Rebillet, Robert Glasper, Kelela, Shabaka Hutchings and BJ The Chicago Kid. The latest big-ticket artist to take over the Blue Note was André 3000, who performed for three sold-out nights in support of his 2023 flute-filled album “New Blue Sun.”

Kicking off the summer, the Blue Note Jazz Festival, running June 1 to early July, will feature performances across New York City at venues ranging from Sony Hall, Central Park’s SummerStage, Town Hall and Brooklyn Bowl. The lineup boasts newer voices like Andra Day and Corrine Bailey Rae as well as jazz legends like Wynton Marsalis. Glasper, who recently held his fifth annual “Robtober” residency at the Blue Note last October, will host the inaugural Black Radio Experience at the Blue Note Jazz Festival Napa, running from Aug. 30 to Sept. 1.

Blue Angels will perform at Vero Beach Air Show 2024 at airport this weekend

wilder blue tour schedule

The U.S. Navy Blue Angels are coming back to town.

The elite team with the iconic blue-and-yellow F/A-18 Super Hornet jets will headline the 2024 Vero Beach Air Show this weekend at the  Vero Beach Regional Airport .

The Blue Angels will perform Saturday and Sunday, but not Friday. Their performance times aren't disclosed to avoid traffic jams.

Winter visit: U.S. Navy Blue Angels fly into Vero Beach

They're joined this year by the U.S. Air Force A-10C Thunderbolt II Demo team and an entertaining lineup of civilian acrobatic performers.

The Friday night show includes pyrotechnics and a fireworks display. On Saturday and Sunday, planes fly from noon to 4 p.m. Gates open at 9 a.m. both days for static displays on the ground, including the massive Air Force C-17 Globemaster III, as well as food vendors and children's activities.

The Blue Angels will begin to arrive on the Treasure Coast at 8:45 a.m. Wednesday with No. 7 flying into the Sun Jet Center at the Vero Beach airport. The rest of the team will arrive at 8:45 a.m. Thursday. These preshow arrivals aren't open to the public, but they make for good viewing.

In December, Blue Angels No. 7 Lt. Connor O'Donnell and No. 8 Lt. Cmdr. Brian Vaught flew into the Vero Beach airport for a quick winter visit ahead of an air show. That also wasn't open to the public, but people lined the fence by C.J. Cannon's restaurant to watch one of the jets arrive.

The Blue Angels started coming to the Vero Beach Air Show in 2014. They planned to return in 2016, but canceled after Marine Capt. Jeff Kuss was killed during practice in Tennessee. The Blue Angels returned for the 2018 show.

In 2020, the Vero Beach Air Show was canceled because of the coronavirus pandemic. It returned in 2022, with the Blue Angels as headliners once again.

This year's Vero Beach Air Show is two weeks before "The Blue Angels" movie is released in theaters on May 17.

2024 Vero Beach Air Show

Your 48-hour tour guide of Moscow this winter!

wilder blue tour schedule

9 am – Visit the Red Square

Christmas market on Red Square

Christmas market on Red Square

The first thing that every tourist should do by default is visit the very heart of Moscow – it’s main and most beautiful (which ‘krasnaya’ actually meant in Old Russian) square!

There are several ways to explore it:

  • Take a selfie with Spasskaya Tower
  • Have a warm drink at the Christmas market (which lasts until mid-January)
  • Visit Lenin’s Mausoleum
  • Shop in the gorgeous adjacent GUM department store
  • Visit St. Basil’s Cathedral (and learn that it’s actually several churches under one roof).

11 am – It’s Kremlin time!

Inside the Moscow Kremlin

Inside the Moscow Kremlin

Entering the Kremlin is, actually, a bit of a quest, as it’s a presidential facility with no general access. You need to buy a ticket or, better still, book a guided tour. Inside the Kremlin’s walls, you will find ancient cathedrals, in which Russian tsars used to be crowned and buried, as well as explore the magnificent architecture of the Kremlin that reflects the rich history of the country. And, finally, you could also make a quick visit to the Moscow Kremlin Museums and admire artifacts from various Russian tsarist eras: carriages, thrones, crowns and the most incredible armory and jewelry.

For more information, visit the official website of the Kremlin . It’s open from 10 am to 5 pm (and it’s closed on Thursdays) in winter.

2 pm – Watch the changing of the Guard

The honor guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier

The honor guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier

A very spectacular (and free) thing to do is watch how the honor guard does their ceremonial change at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the Eternal Flame, situated in Alexander Garden, right next to the Kremlin wall. Every hour, from 8 am to 8 pm, the 1st Company of the Kremlin (Presidential) Regiment performs this rather old and beautiful tradition. But, be warned, it's often overcrowded.

3 pm – Enjoy a green oasis just in the center

Florarium in Zaryadye

Florarium in Zaryadye

Just a few steps from the Red Square, you will find the fabulous Zaryadye park. Opened in 2017, it is designed by renowned American architect bureau ‘Diller Scofidio + Renfro’. You can walk among the very cozy botanical decorations and explore Russia’s climate zones, as each of them is represented in dedicated areas, complete with flora from those zones.

The floating bridge in Zaryadye Park

The floating bridge in Zaryadye Park

The park also has an underground museum, an “ice cave” and a 3D cinema, where you can take part in a virtual adventure – a flight over Moscow! However, the piece de resistance is a floating boomerang bridge over the Moskva River, one of the best places to take a selfie.

You can also grab a quick lunch or relax with a cup of coffee or tea in the park.

7 pm – Arrange a ballet night

The Bolshoi Theater

The Bolshoi Theater

Of course, the most fancy way to finish your day in Moscow would be to go to the ballet at the Bolshoi Theater (in a perfect world, to see ‘The Nutcracker’!). However, getting tickets to the Bolshoi is not an easy task and should be done well in advance of your visit.

But, don’t be upset if you don’t manage to get tickets to the Bolshoi. Moscow has dozens of other options to see a ballet (or opera). No less brilliant performances can be seen in the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Music Theater or in The State Kremlin Palace (by the way, this is another way to get a quick glimpse inside the Kremlin!).

10:30 pm – Have a late dinner in a fancy restaurant

Dr Zhivago restaurant

Dr Zhivago restaurant

There are not so many other cities with such a big choice of restaurants in a range of tastes and styles. In 2021, the authoritative Michelin guide announced their pick of the best of Moscow’s restaurants. And here’s our guide to all the places with Russian cuisine for any budget. But, if you happen to be in the area of the Bolshoi or Nemirovich-Danchenko Theater, then ‘Dr. Zhivago’ would definitely be a nice option (and it’s open around the clock).

DAY 2

9 am – grab a moscow coffee.

Winter festivities mood in Moscow

Winter festivities mood in Moscow

Moscow is definitely a coffee city! You can find coffee shops on every corner and they all offer a huge range of drinks. Try a ‘raf’ coffee, a sweet, creamy drink that was created in Russia, or dare to pick one of the very unusual offers, like cheese coffee or a Soviet candy style one (check out our coffee guide here ).

10 am – Take a river cruise

Winter boating along the Moskva River

Winter boating along the Moskva River

Another exciting way to explore Moscow is to observe it from the water. Boats cruise along the Moskva River all year round. Most begin their route from the Hotel Ukraine, one of Stalin's ‘Seven Sister’ skyscrapers, and will bring you back to the same spot after passing the medieval Novodevichy Convent, Moscow State University and Luzhniki Stadium, the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour and giant monument to Peter the Great and many other sightseeings.

It’s always at optimum temperature inside the boat, which also has huge panoramic windows. Select boats also offer a full dining experience, so it is also a nice place to have breakfast or lunch.

If you are not a water person, then discover other, unusual sides of Moscow – pick one of the activities we’ve prepared for you here !

1 pm – Visit ‘Russia’ Expo and taste a bunch of Russian regional cuisines

Russia Expo at VDNKh

Russia Expo at VDNKh

Until April 2024, the Soviet-era VDNKh exhibition park is hosting the huge ‘Russia’ expo, with tons of activities and expositions devoted to Russia, its culture, science and nature. Check out our special guide on what to do there!

An entire ‘House of Russian Cuisine’ has been opened at the expo. You will find 15 food stands with flagship dishes from Kamchatka, Siberia, Karelia and other regions of Russia. Imagine trying a range of cuisines and dishes in one place without even having to travel anywhere, be it Altai pelmeni, Tula kalach or Caucasian pies! A perfect place to grab some lunch.

House of Russian cuisines at VDNKh

House of Russian cuisines at VDNKh

The VDNKh exhibition park is a great place to visit, in general! Its pavilions are the perfect example of Stalinit Empire style architecture and you can almost feel as if you’ve traveled back in time! You will also find several interesting museums in the park – devoted to space exploration, Russian history and even a ‘Special Purpose Garage’, which showcases the various vehicles used by the country’s leaders.

'Sun of Moscow' wheel

'Sun of Moscow' wheel

And, finally, you can ride Europe's tallest panoramic wheel – ‘Sun of Moscow’ – that will give you panoramic views of the city – from a height of 140 meters!

5 pm – Ice skate with view & mulled wine

Ice skating rink on Red Square (GUM department store on the background)

Ice skating rink on Red Square (GUM department store on the background)

Ice skating is one of the most popular and affordable activities in Moscow. There are several great ice skating rinks in picturesque locations that are open all winter long. One of the biggest rinks in Europe is also at the aforementioned VDNKh or you can visit the one in Gorky Park, another very popular Moscow spot, or the small, but fancy rink – right on Red Square!

All the parks offer ice skate rental, so the only things you need are warm clothes, a charged phone to record your memories and a good mood!  Moscow also gets dark at 4:30 pm in winter and hundreds of lights are switched on, turning the city into a giant fairy tale!

A mulled wine with a view

A mulled wine with a view

And, if you are not a sports person, we’ve picked several other unusual activities that you could do in Moscow instead. For example, did you know that there is an entire district of dacha (countryside) houses, just 10 minutes from the center, surrounded by giant new highrises? How about taking a stroll there and feeling the early Soviet atmosphere?

8 pm – Warm up & laugh out loud

After all these outdoor activities, what could be better than a warm cozy bar with a hot drink and nice company? Moscow is a city full of entertainment for all tastes. So, if you know the Russian language or want to practice it, go to a theater or catch a stand-up comedy show. Moscow even has comedy shows in English, where you can hear both Russians speaking fluent English or foreigners (including Brits and Americans) who live in Russia speaking in broken or heavily-accented Russian (Check their show dates on the ‘ Moscow English Comedy ’ Telegram channel)!

11 pm – Finish by partying the night away!

Propaganda club in Moscow

Propaganda club in Moscow

Moscow never sleeps, as you might have heard. Which means there are plenty of bars and nightclubs where you can have a drink (or two or three; be sure to check out how Russians make Black Russian and White Russian cocktails) and chat with incredibly different people. Have fun and don’t miss your flight (or miss it and stay longer in the best city in the world!)!

That's it! See you soon in Moscow
