Cited by Guitar World as “arguably the world’s biggest blues guitarist,” Bonamassa is known for taking risks and venturing into uncharted territory throughout his wide-ranging career. His latest studio album ‘Time Clocks’ marked his most raw, rocking studio album yet, with American Songwriter sharing, “Bonamassa pushes into fresh territory while staying within a blues-based framework,” and “there is more than enough proof in this sprawling set that Bonamassa doesn’t intend to rest on his laurels or take his star status in the blues-rock genre for granted.”

Wonderful time last night ! All hard working people That were there to entertain the people that spent hard earned money to be there , they all , the band that is , knew this and showed their appreciation by putting on a splendid display of their god given talent , they proved to everyone there last night that they honed this talent . At the end of the show Mr Bonamassa took time at his bus , took selfies and chatted with a handful of fans , we spoke with other band members and found them all down to earth and very approachable. I first had the privilege 15-17 yrs ago of seeing Joe in Santa Cruz , Calif. last night it had been 7 times at his concerts 6 times here in Scotland , I will be seeing him again and again !

I've seen Joe about five times now and this was well below his usual standard.

He played very few of his older numbers and left most of the audience bewildered and very disappointed. he seemed to be promoting his new album that isn't even coming out until September this year. By then most of us will have forgotten what it sounds like. However, it seems Joe is leaving his Blues music behind and going more rock. This, for me, is a no no!! if this is the road he is going down then I wont be buying his albums in the future and will certainly not spend the money going to see him. The couple sat next to us early as they were so disappointed.

To summarise: very disappointing concert. No one was singing along as on one knew the songs he was playing.

An OK show, but not worth the 2.5hr hassle of getting there and back (or the £100/ticket)! Only played two of the numbers I knew, the rest was new stuff. Why do these people assume we want new stuff? We don't, we want to hear live the songs we've become fond of over the years. Excellent musicians when playing together, but too much 'look what I can do' solos, which actually weren't that great. Love Blues of Desperation album and know it intimately, was hoping to hear more of it live. Sorry, won't be rushing to book tickets next time as I did this.

Bonamassa and his long-time manager Roy Weisman also recently announced Journeyman LLC , a full-service artist management, record label, concert promotion, and marketing company that builds awareness for independent artists worldwide.  Journeyman provides the infrastructure needed to jump-start the careers of exceptional independent artists, who are too often overlooked by the major labels or concert promoters while circumventing the resistance of typical “gatekeepers” who don’t support indie acts. “I wanted to take what I’ve had to learn the hard way to create a company that could make navigating this process a little easier,” Bonamassa explains.

Joe Bonamassa to open for the Rolling Stones

The Rolling Stones are excited to announce that the blues rock superstar Joe Bonamassa will join the STONES TOUR ’24 HACKNEY DIAMONDS as a guest artist in Seattle, WA on Wednesday, May 15 at Lumen Field. Joe Bonamassa is one of the most celebrated performing musicians of today. As a three-time GRAMMY-nominated artist and 15x Blues Music Award Nominee (4-time winner), he achieved his 27th No. 1 album on the Billboard Blues Chart with his most recent studio album, Blues Deluxe Vol. 2 . Only in his mid-40s, Bonamassa has become a living legend with an astounding multi-genre catalog. He has released more than 40 albums, including studio and live recordings, as well as collaborative albums with his adventurous side projects: Black Country Communion and Rock Candy Funk Party.

A prolific writer who is always on the hunt to expand his eclectic musical horizons, Bonamassa has a limitless work ethic whether it’s in a studio, on the road, or working with other artists to spur new music. In recent years, he has produced an immense number of albums including Joanne Shaw Taylor, Marc Broussard, Larry McCray, Jimmy Hall, Robert Jon & The Wreck and others for his independent label KTBA Records, and has also recently launched Journeyman LLC, a full-service artist management, record label, concert promotion, and marketing company that builds awareness for independent artists worldwide.

His non-profit Keeping The Blues Alive provides funds and resources to schools and artists in need and has positively impacted more than 100,000 students to date while raising over 2.2 million in donations

The Rolling Stones are going back on the road with a brand-new tour performing in 16 cities across the U.S. and Canada. Fans can expect to experience Mick, Keith and Ronnie play their most popular hits ranging from “Start Me Up,” “Gimme Shelter,” “Jumpin’ Jack Flash,” “Satisfaction” and more, as well as fan favorite deep cuts and music from their new album  HACKNEY DIAMONDS . Showcasing a new stage and high energy that only the Stones can bring as one of the world’s most iconic artists ever, this tour will guarantee a show to remember.
