Amit helped us as much as possible to make the trip a great experience. Thanks Trip String for arranging the Goa trip. Hotel was very good but only disappointment was about the cab service. Trip String agent had given commitment of 8 hour site seeing but driver was always asking for money if there's some extra time after 7 hours. I would never recommend my friends about the cab service because even though it was package booking, the driver was always asking money. 300/hour after 7 hours, which is unacceptable.

Since cruising is a truly different holiday experience, it is important that we brief you on a few important points: 

• All guests should arrive at the Green Gate Ballard Pier by 2pm on the boarding day. As there is no seating area at the Green Gate, please that you will be required to queue up for embarkation process.
• Pl keep handy your RT-PCR negative certificate (taken within 72 hours of boarding) along with your Cruise Voucher 
• Mandatory is also the original government identification card that you had provided during booking process
• Carry your debit/credit cards as cash payments are not permitted on the cruise
• Outside food, beverages and alcohol is not allowed and must not be carried into the ship 
• We recommend that you also carry your sea-sickness medication/patches 
• Hence please carry your international adaptor (American plug 110V)  Please do not carry kettle, cooking equipment on-board as this is not permitted 
• Don’t forget to bring with you your personal toiletries  

* Note: Vaccine certificate is not required for boarding the cruise

• You will be sailing in international waters and hence your sim card will not be operational. Hence we recommend that you purchase a wifi card that is available onboard.

Kochi to Goa via Airways

There are several flights between Kochi and Goa; however, only a handful of direct flights are available. Among the Indian carriers, only Indigo provides direct services between Kochi to Goa. Usually, it takes around one hour and twenty minutes to complete the trip. The tickets cost around INR 2,500 but the ticket prices are subjected to change.

This route is probably the longest one and usually avoided by tourists. Passing the NH 544, this route passes through the beautiful Chitradurgawhich, which is the home to stunning historically significant Chandravalli Caves. Some other popular landmarks in the route are:

Halt at Kannur and Udupi

A favorite among the tourists, this Kochi to Goa road trip route running over the NH 66 gives you a chance to savor the beauty of the coastal Karnataka region. Some of the popular attractions you can come across this route are:

• Sita Falls

• Someshwara Wildlife Sanctuary

• Gomatheshwara Statue

• Jogi Gundi Falls

• Achakanya Falls

However, this route is under construction for some time, so navigation in this route might become a bit hassle for amateur travelers.   

P.S: This route has toll gates.

There are no direct buses to Goa from Kochi, you have to come down to Bangalore and then take a bus from there. The entire trip would take around 22 hours to complete and the average cost of tickets might be around INR 1,500.

Detailed Guide for Bus Trip:

Board the bus from Kalamassery, Kochi at 9:20 am and get down from the bus at Ananda Rao Circle, Bangalore. Next board the bus from Kalasipalyam, Bangalore at 7:45 pm and by 9:45 am next morning, you will reach Margao Bus Terminal, Goa.

Some helpful tips for people taking a Kochi to Goa road trip:

1. Carry updated documents like car registration details and identification proofs during the road trip.

2. Pack essentials like food, water, medicines, and everything else to avoid emergencies.

Out of anger, the king burnt the philosophers alive and sentenced st.catherine to prison. Catherine did not give up, and she was succeeded in converting not only the jailers but also the king's wife.
