This was the best 7 day holiday, me and my husband ever experienced. Bogdan (owner of transylvania discovery tours) is the best professional, knowledgeable tour guide you can get, with extra fun facts and surprises. From the very beginning you can see and feel his love and passion for Romania. It penetrates straight to your heart, with the very well planned itinerary, to get you to see as many wonderful and best places as possible, which was explained to us everyday the day before, which also can be tailor made at your own pace. Yes, this tour includes quite a lot of travelling (i had to take travelling pills as i suffer from motion sickness ), but it was very relaxing with all the breath taking postcard scenery. We felt we had VIP treatment, felt extremely safe, both being in a foreign country and with his excellent driving. Bogdan checked everything was perfect, in every room we lodged, that we had enough food and drink, local liqueur and wine , privacy and smoking area. The local hosts are super, it was like saying goodbye to your mum every time. Transylvania is a very beautiful area with lovely mountains, forests and towns. Our guide was very knowledgeable and helpful and we enjoyed his company. The historical fortified churches are lovely and their history is quite interesting. Three out of four of our hotels were excellent and all of them were clean. Romanians are friendly and eager to please. A very lovely trip..

Reiseunterlagen waren teilweise auf eine Bus-Gruppenreise abgestimmt, jedoch nicht auf eine Individualreise mit Mietwagen. Die benötigten Voucher wurden erst auf Nachfrage zugesandt. Der Tag in Kronstadt, an dem uns ein Reiseführer zugeteilt war, wurde zum falschen Datum angegeben. Es erfolgte eine 2-malige Reklamation durch uns, da nach der 1. Reklamation wieder das falsche Datum erschien. Die Übernachtung in Hermannstadt betrug 2 Nächte, angegeben war jedoch nur 1 Nacht. Im großen und ganzen erfolgte ein schlampiger Umgang mit den Reiseunterlagen. Der komplette Preis war überhöht, weil nicht das Preisniveau des Gastlandes berücksichtigt wurde

Ich hatte drei Tage mit anderen Gästen und dann zwei weitere, wo ich ganz alleine war. Die Unterkunft war ein geräumiges und freundliches Gästehaus. Andrei und Irene sind die besten Gastgeber und ich hatte das Gefühl, dass sie Freunde geworden sind. Andrei hat sich rührend um mich gekümmert, auch als ich die einzige war, und hat mir auch historische Sehenswürdigkeiten an den Tagen gezeigt, wo es unbequem gewesen wäre, aufs Wasser zu gehen. Er kennt die Gegend wie seine Westentasche, weiß, wo die verschiedenen Vogelarten zu finden sind, und abends haben wir zusammen das besprochen, was wir tagsüber gesehen haben. Für die Fotografen hatte er nützliche Tipps, um die besten Aufnahmen zu bekommen, denn er ist hier auch Fachmann. Das Frühstück ist einfach - nach romanischer Art - und mittags und abends gab es Fisch in allen Variationen, plus gelegentlich einen hausgemachten Schnaps und leckere Brownies. Die ganze Erfahrung war echt und unverfälscht und es war eine Ehre, so einen Einblick in deren Lebensart zu erhalten. Die Anreise (mit Bus aus Bukarest - 4 Stunden für 120 LEI) ging glatt und Andrei hat mich in Tulcea für die halbstündige Anreise nach Mahmudia vom Busbahnhof abgeholt. Ich kann diese Reise für alle, die die überbordende Vogelwelt der Donau-Delta sehen - und fotografieren - wollen, nur empfehlen.

Great experience, guide Andrei was knowledgable, enthusiastic, friendly, and professional. He went out of his way to ensure that our group of 4 had an enjoyable and satisfactory experience. Accomodations were terrific, as were the home-cooked meals that were included. Would recommend!

Sa salutam inca un tour operator de turism in Romania – TOCO TOUR !

Stiti cum ati putea avea bilete de avion la preturi mai mici, pachete turistice (sejur, circuite, ce vreti voi) la cele mai mici preturi si serviciile cele mai bune ? Nu, nu trebuie sa vina statul sa faca si sa dreaga pentru ca oriunde in lume statul este cel mai prost administrator, ci solutia este una simpla : SA CREASCA COMPETITIA, SA VINA CAT MAI MULTI OPERATORI SERIOSI. Acest lucru s-a confirmat de un milion de ori in toate industriile si tarile lumii. Cu cat sunt mai multi operatori seriosi si profesionisti intr-o piata (chiar si in cea de reparat incaltamintea din cartierul Titan), cu atat serviciile sunt mai bune si mai ieftine. Este o lege infailibila pentru ca nu o impune nimeni fortat.

Ei bine, ma bucur sa va anunt ca pe piata romaneasca a intrat inca o noua agentie de turism specializata TOUR OPERATOR (adica cei care “produc” produsele turistice, nu doar le vand) numita TOCO TOUR . Primele intrebari sunt – cine sunt si daca sunt de incredere. Ce coincidenta – si eu am pus fix aceeasi intrebare :).

Toco Tour este o agentie care vine de peste Prut, din Republica Moldova. Nu s-a nascut aseara si hop, in Romania, functioneaza din 1998, iar in 2003 au operat primul lor charter spre Turcia impreuna cu Turkish Airlines (si romanilor de peste Prut le place tot Turcia). Partenerul lor actual din Turcia este Anex Tour – din cate am inteles cea mai mare companie de incoming din Turcia si una dintre cele mai mari companii de turism din lume  care evident are putere de negociere pe litoralul turcesc si nu numai, iar azi Toco Tour impreuna cu Anex Tour opereaza chartere din Chisinau spre Antalya, Bodrum, Izmir si Dalaman. Pe langa cursele spre Turcia, Toco Tour mai opereaza zboruri charter din Chisinau spre Egipt, Dubai si Creta). Din 2015, a devenit lider de piata in Republica Moldova.

Fiind deja foarte puternici in Moldova, extinderea spre Romania a devenit cumva logica. Asa ca incepand de anul acesta, Toco Tour a inceput sa opereze si in Romania – s-a inregistrat la Bucuresti, avand deci si o companie –persoana juridica romana, au un birou frumos intr-o zona faina a Bucurestiului (Floreasca) si au dat drumul la treaba cu chartere de 3 ori pe saptamana spre Antalya, iar din toamna, vor opera si spre Egipt si Dubai. Iar de la anul, planul este sa opereze si din alte orase romanesti ca nu doar Bucurestiul conteaza in tara asta ;). Sincer, eu sper sa inoveze, sa gaseasca si alte destinatii mai putin cunoscute – provenind totusi din spatiul ex-sovietic, poate sa ia si Batumi in considerare ? Dar asa cum am citit despre istoria lor, oamenii cresc incet, incet, dar sigur.

Toco Tour nu vinde direct spre clienti, ci doar parteneri – agentii revanzatoare romanesti si in acest moment isi construieste reteaua de parteneri din toata tara.

Moscow Metro 2019

Will it be easy to find my way in the Moscow Metro? It is a question many visitors ask themselves before hitting the streets of the Russian capital. As metro is the main means of transport in Moscow – fast, reliable and safe – having some skills in using it will help make your visit more successful and smooth. On top of this, it is the most beautiful metro in the world !

. There are over 220 stations and 15 lines in the Moscow Metro. It is open from 6 am to 1 am. Trains come very frequently: during the rush hour you won't wait for more than 90 seconds! Distances between stations are quite long – 1,5 to 2 or even 3 kilometers. Metro runs inside the city borders only. To get to the airport you will need to take an onground train - Aeroexpress.

RATES AND TICKETS

Paper ticket A fee is fixed and does not depend on how far you go. There are tickets for a number of trips: 1, 2 or 60 trips; or for a number of days: 1, 3 days or a month. Your trips are recorded on a paper ticket. Ifyou buy a ticket for several trips you can share it with your traveling partner passing it from one to the other at the turnstile.

On every station there is cashier and machines (you can switch it to English). Cards and cash are accepted. 1 trip - 55 RUB 2 trips - 110 RUB

Tickets for 60 trips and day passes are available only at the cashier's.

60 rides - 1900 RUB

1 day - 230 RUB 3 days - 438 RUB 30 days - 2170 RUB.

The cheapest way to travel is buying Troyka card . It is a plastic card you can top up for any amount at the machine or at the ticket office. With it every trip costs 38 RUB in the metro and 21 RUB in a bus. You can get the card in any ticket office. Be prepared to leave a deposit of 50 RUB. You can get it back returning the card to the cashier.

One turnstile at every station accept PayPass and payments with phones. It has a sticker with the logos and located next to the security's cabin.

GETTING ORIENTED

At the platfrom you will see one of these signs.

It indicates the line you are at now (line 6), shows the direction train run and the final stations. Numbers below there are of those lines you can change from this line.

In trains, stations are announced in Russian and English. In newer trains there are also visual indication of there you are on the line.

To change lines look for these signs. This one shows the way to line 2.

There are also signs on the platfrom. They will help you to havigate yourself. (To the lines 3 and 5 in this case).
