Our Sunset Cruise aboard the 'Charles Darwin' takes in full air-conditioned comfort. Guests also have access to the Sun Deck (Third, top deck) where the best views of Darwin’s famous sunset are experienced.  This two & half hour cruise includes a great commentary on the harbour and Darwin’s great history. There is a licensed bar on board with great priced drinks and snacks to enjoy.

‘Tumlaren’  is in survey for up to 45 passengers, available for exclusive use, the vessel offers a spacious, shaded open plan deck, two toilets on deck level and Wi-Fi sound system aboard.

As you eat your dinner on board, we’ll use our local knowledge to take you to the best place to enjoy the delightfully warm breeze, exquisite tropical sunset and harbour full of intrigue. The tide, wind, weather and season will be considered as the Captain turns the boat in a particular direction.

You may experience a walk on the Fannie Bay sandbar or enjoy your meal amongst a pod of frolicking dolphins or dugong. Sometimes we may visit the Sadgroves bird sanctuary and other times we'll just cruise around the glistening harbour, taking in nature's extraordinarily-coloured sky at this time of day - it's like an artwork!

• Sea Darwin Sea Tiwi reserves the right to make subtle changes to advertised cruises or charters
• Dietary requirements must be requested at the time of booking
• Sea Darwin -Sea Tiwi reserves the right to change or cancel your booking in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control
• If change or cancellation prove necessary, we will give you reasonable notice based on the circumstances and will offer you a comparable alternative.
• If an alternative is not available or acceptable you will be entitled to a full refund or a credit.
• If a customer cancels a cruise a full refund (less $20 administration fee and 1.5% credit card fees) will be available unless it is within 48 hours where the ticket will be non-refundable.
• Sea Darwin – Sea Tiwi is not responsible for the costs of any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellation or rescheduling of a cruise.
• Minimum numbers apply for all our cruises and events.
• Full payment is required at the time of booking for cruises and events, and a 25% deposit is required for all Private Charters.
• Seating is allocated on most tours, to ensure that customers cruising together can sit together. If you are travelling with customers on a different booking, please notify at the time of booking.
• Sea Darwin – Sea Tiwi reserves the right to refuse passage to any person who presents for boarding in an intoxicated or substance affected state.
• Customers are required to present for boarding 15 minutes prior to cruise scheduled departure time. Boarding will close 5 minutes prior to scheduled departure time. Customers not at the boarding location at that time will forfeit their ticket.
• While every effort will be made to ensure your comfort and safety, Sea Darwin – Sea Tiwi will not be held responsible for any personal injury or any equipment or clothing lost or damaged.

Boating can be a hazardous activity, particularly noting the vagaries of the wind, waves and tide.

What is your cancellation policy.

Customers will be entitled to a full refund or a reschedule of the ticket if the cruise is cancelled because of bad weather or any other reason. If a customer cancels a cruise a full refund (less $20 admin fee and cc and booking fee charges) will be available unless it is within 48 hours where the ticket will be non-refundable.

Are there other food options available?

The fish'n chips served on our cruise is traditional battered fish and chips. Given the timing and pricing constraints of the tour, we cannot take individual orders for other food types. However we do cater for special dietary requirements and allergies, but please let us know in advance.

What should I bring?

Please wear flat shoes or sandals. We also recommend you bring a camera. We supply sunscreen, insect repellent, drinking water, fish & chips, a complimentary glass of bubbly or bottle of water or soft drink.

Can I purchase other drinks on board?

Yes, our vessel includes a fully licensed bar.

Do you offer child pricing?

Yes, children (3-15 years) are offered a discounted ticket. A soft drink is included in their ticket price. This cruise is not suitable for children under the age of 3 years.

Will I be allocated a seat?

At times when our tour is fully booked, seating will be allocated to ensure that people traveling together sit together.

Is this tour suitable for older people?

Yes, we've had youthful seniors to a sprightly 94 year old senior.
