  • Jennifer E 0 contributions 0 5.0 of 5 bubbles Fantastic day! What a fabulous trip! The company, Lally Tours, did an amazing job of hosting. I was fortunate to have John B as my driver on this Sunday tour. The weather was iffy and I had my fingers crossed the entire time. Turns out that it was perfect! It stopped raining just like John said and the views were stunning. The extra stop off at the caves was a hit! And the fact that the lunch room was secured for our day made it even better. Kudos to John and Lally tours! TripAdvisor Rating

Our Driftwood Tour was amazing. Having a small group made the adventure so much more fun.

Having a smaller vehicle let us explore places that big buses couldn’t reach.

My only dilemma is what trip to book with them next.

Ireland Tours

Card image cap

Touring Ireland is like being welcomed into the family and feeling like you’ve been a part of it the whole time. Sitting in an Irish pub, sipping on a Guinness. You can listen to the locals talk in their incredibly thick accents about something dramatic that happened to such-and-such down the road, who doesn't want to be a part of it? Good old Irish charm. Much like the locals, a tour of Ireland is full of stories and history. This is the land where giants carved the coastlines, fairies dwell deep in the forests, and luck flows through every landscape. Join our master storytellers on small group tours from Dublin , Belfast, or our newly launched depature point of Killarney . Dive deeper into this fascinating island, have some craic along the way, and uncover the tales of time gone by being brought to life. Simply choose the adventure that calls out to you the most. Will you try to count the basalt blocks at the Giant’s Causeway when you depart for a tour or Ireland from Belafast ? Follow in the footsteps of monks at Clonmacnoise Abbey? Or listen to the roar of the Atlantic along the rugged West Coast? Whichever path you choose, you’ll come back home a storyteller yourself, with a head full of souvenir stories and memories that last a lifetime.

Why you'll love an Ireland tour

bus tours of ireland 2024

Weird wonders lie in the landscapes

Giant’s causeway is 40,000 basalt columns. Cliffs of Moher is a 214m drop into the Atlantic Ocean. And the Dingle Peninsula is 75km of unspoilt beaches and jagged mountains. But the numbers don’t do it justice: you need to see it to believe it. And an Irish tour, led by knowledgeable driver-guides , can be just the answer.

bus tours of ireland 2024

Giants, leprechauns, and fairies

It feels as if every landscape you walk along on an Irish tour was crafted by a giant, ransacked by leprechauns, and traversed by a thousand banshees. So make sure to tune in to your guide’s tales. And who knows, maybe you’ll believe in some of them yourself.

bus tours of ireland 2024

Everyone wants to be Irish

Maybe it’s their accent, perhaps it’s their friendly nature, or it may even be their fantastic stories. But whatever it is, everyone loves the Irish. And after you tour Ireland, you’ll come home wishing you could be Irish too.

bus tours of ireland 2024

Atmospheric live entertainment

Vibrant, loud and exuberant. Irish cities are full of character and jam-packed with live entertainment venues. Whether it’s a traditional fiddle or a heavy guitar riff, an Irish gig is an energetic experience you cannot miss when touring the beautiful emerald isles.

The Celtic Voyage - Multi-Day - Small Group Tour of Ireland

The tour was exactly as expected and I was never disappointed. The accommodations were excellent with great Irish breakfasts. As much as the sites we visited were interesting and dramatic, the guide made them all the more so with his deep knowledge of Irish history and lore. It is impossible to overstate the difference Mike, the guide, made with his humor, personality and knowledge of what he was showing us. I would never hesitate to follow this company and Mike wherever they decide to travel. Giver yourself a treat and go with Wild and Happy.

3-Day Blarney Castle, Kilkenny & Irish Whiskey Small-Group Tour from Dublin

We really enjoyed our tour. Our tour guide, Marty, was terrific! He shared the history of each area we visited, the meaning of Irish words, fantastic pub/restaurant and museum recommendations and even had alternate plans for us when the Jameson Whiskey tour was canceled because of record rainfall and flooding (we got a refund too!). Our accommodations were always close to City Centre, clean, comfortable and had a delicious breakfast. It was a great experience!

Irish Highlights (Summer, 7 Days) Tour

Irish Highlights (Summer, 7 Days)

Very good hotels and Jill was an excellent guide. The tour included a good selection of Irish tourist spots and places of interest. More time in Dublin would have been better. The included meals in Dublin and the cooking school were far too early for dinner and too late for lunch so we could not take full advantage of them and enjoy them. In all a good taste of Ireland.

8 Day Castles & Coast Experience - Small Group Tour

The trip was very well organized with lots of options to do things at each destination. Our tour guide Anthony was great. His knowledge of the area was very comprehensive and he told great stories as well. The Irish people were wonderful and the Irish breakfasts were delicious. It was a great way to see the country without having to navigate all of the narrow roads along the Wild Atlantic Way.

10 Day Wild Irish Experience - Small Group Tour

Best tour I’ve been on! Wonderful itinerary, beautiful accommodations, and our driver/guide was fantastic. He had so much information about every place we visited and we loved hearing about him and his life in Ireland as well. I would recommend this tour to anyone.

Focus on Ireland (Classic, 7 Days) Tour

Focus on Ireland (Classic, 7 Days)

I have been on many tours and Greg is one of the best tour guides that I have ever had. He has a love and passion for his job and he made everyone on the tour share his feelings for the places we went in Ireland. I was amazed at how much he knew from memory about Ireland and its history. He made this vacation very special.

The Best Of Ireland Tour

The Best Of Ireland

The tour was great and our tour / bus driver is one of the best. He's extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of Ireland and went out of his way to do extra things that were not on the itinerary. We had plenty of time at all of our stops and loads of free time as well. Thanks Indus for a great time.

5-Day Spectacular South and West small group Tour of Ireland Tour

5-Day Spectacular South and West small group Tour of Ireland

Loved the tour; great group and terrific tour leader in Mike who was very knowledgeable and really good fun. Pity he wasn’t provided with a microphone for the first 3 days though! All the accommodation was good and visits en route were excellent BUT not nearly enough time to do justice to the superb Blasket Is Visitor Centre which needs at least one full hour. It’s the one major miss on what was otherwise a really great experience.

The pace was more than I anticipated. The hotel in Dingel had sub-par accommodations. The tour guide provided cheerful banter and Irish history.

What people love about Ireland Tours in September

This tour was so good! We experienced more of Ireland than the itinerary indicated (because of stops we made along our journey, which I loved!), but never felt rushed. Our guide Diarmuid is such a professional - he provided us with interesting information about the places we stopped and Ireland in general, kept us on schedule with a relaxed demeanor, and is genuinely a very nice person. I've never traveled with a tour group before and this one couldn't have been any better. The Emerald Isle is so beautiful and everyone is so friendly that, even when there was a bit of rain, it was still fun. Many thanks to Mick and Diarmuid (the best!!) for making this a most memorable trip. PS the accommodations were fantastic - especially the breakfasts!
The entire trip was wonderful, very well organized, and satisfying. Peter Flood was an excellent tour guide. He was as knowledgeable as could be, funny, and helpful; and really seems to love what he does.
