Payday at Harbour Town
Here's the prize money payout for each golfer at the 2024 RBC Heritage
Andrew Redington
There’s something different about the RBC Heritage at Harbour Town Golf Links in Hilton Head, S.C., primarily because there’s something different about the golf course compared to other venues that host PGA Tour events. It’s easily distinguishable as a Pete Dye design, with the railroad ties and the visual deception that comes into play off the tee and with shots into the green. The course is just 7,099 yards in length, with among the smallest greens on tour. You don’t have to be a bomber to win, and frankly this is a venue where ball-strikers typically thrive.
Consider this list of past winners in the last 25 years:
Stewart Cink, 2000, 2004, 2021
Justin Leonard, 2002
Boo Weekley, 2007, 2008
Brian Gay, 2009
Jim Furyk, 2010, 2015
Matt Kuchar, 2014
Webb Simpson, 2020
Jordan Spieth, 2022
Matt Fitzpatrick, 2023

Mind you, it didn't matter how the course was set up or who that might have favored—the way Scottie Scheffler has been playing, everyone else is playing each week for second place.
It happened again on Monday morning, Sunday rains delaying the inevitable. Scheffler had a five-shot lead with four holes to play, letting the cushion allow him to bogey the final hole at Harbour Town and still win by three shots with a final-round 68.
Scheffler did it again against another steller field, with the RBC Heritage being among the tour’s signature tournaments—offering a $20 million overall prize money payout with $3.6 million going to the winner—the field includes the top-ranked players on tour. Eight of the top 10 in the OWGR were competing, and 43 of the top 50 overall are in the field. (It’s not just the purse that’s attractive but the fact there’s no cut in the event, guaranteeing a solid payday so long as you play all 72 holes.)
Below is the prize money payout for each golfer at this week’s tournament. Come back shortly after the conclusion of the event and we’ll update this list with individual names and paydays.

Caribbean cruise for top RBC/RBTT employees
RBC and RBTT have recognised their top 600 employees with a week-long cruise aboard the Celebrity cruise liner. The employees joined Suresh Sookoo, chief executive officer, RBTT Financial Group, and several RBC executives for the annual RBC convention cruise–the highlight of the employee reward and recognition programme, the banks said in a statement. The banks said the convention winners are also eligible for the Leo Award, the highest level of RBC employee recognition.
This year, LEO awards were presented to 83 employees of RBC and RBTT, including Simone Edwards, senior manager, commercial centre, RBTT Trinidad; and Fianna Lalla-Seenath, manager, customer service, RBTT Trinidad. "Congratulations to all our winners, who have truly embraced our client-first philosophy and excelled in the delivery of service excellence to take centre stage alongside the best employees within RBC," Sookoo said in the statement.

Here's the prize money payout for each golfer at the 2024 Corales Puntacana Championship
B illy Horschel jumped out to an early scorching start with four birdies on the first five holes Sunday to quickly take the lead, one he would never relinquish. Horschel then added another four birdies and an eagle to his scorecard to shoot a final-round 63 and win the Corales Puntacana Championship for his eighth PGA Tour title. The 63 also matched a course record at the Corales course at Puntacana Resort in the Dominican Republic.
Horschel, 37, followed 67-69 with 66-63 over the weekend to end at 23-under-total, two shots ahead of Wesley Bryan, who was looking to go wire-to-wire while playing on a sponsor exemption this week. It was his best finish on tour since 2017.
This marks the sixth time in the previous seven playings of the event that the winner has been in his 30s. Horschel also earned $720,000 from the overall $4 million purse. Bryan earned $436,000.
For Horschel, it was his first victory since the Memorial in 2022, where he topped Aaron Wise by four shots that week.
"This game of golf's so fickle, I think you can put a lot into it and get everything you want out of it," Horschel said. "But I knew in my 14 years, 13 years previously on the PGA Tour that I had the ability, I had the talent, I just needed to continue to work hard and do the right things and continue to believe that good stuff was going to come to the forefront at some point in time."
Horschel was asked about winning an opposite field event for the first time in his career. He was not in the signature events as he finished last season ranked No. 90 in FedEx Cup standings. He entered this week ranked 83rd in the World Ranking, having missed the cut at his last start, the Valero Texas Open two weeks ago.
"The PGA Tour has a lot of tournaments and it's tough for every tournament to get their due," he said. "Opposite field events have been crucial for a lot of players coming up the ranks. Look at Tony Finau, Viktor Hovland winning in Puerto Rico, Matt Wallace won this. So listen, it's another opportunity to play, it's another opportunity to become a better player, to get that win on the PGA Tour.
Also of note, twin brothers Parker and Pierceson Coody both finished inside the top 20. Parker opened with a first-round 66 and ended tied for sixth place at 16 under par. Pierceson opened with consecutive rounds of 67 and tied for 18th place at 12 under par, four shots behind his brother.
Here’s the prize money payout for each golfer who made the cut.

The relationship between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples is foundational to Canada and critical to its future. The impact of residential schools is still felt today, affecting the health and well-being of Indigenous people and communities, contributing to inequalities. Reconciliation is critical to healing this rift and enabling the well-being and prosperity of all peoples in Canada.

2023 RBC Heritage final results: Prize money payout, leaderboard and how much each golfer won
The 2023 RBC Heritage final leaderboard is headed by winner Matt Fitzpatrick , who earns the PGA Tour win at Harbour Town Golf Links on Hilton Head Island, S.C.
Both Jordan Spieth and Matt Fitzpatrick finished regulation tied on 17-under 267, forcing a playoff that began on the par-4 18th hole.
In the playoff, the players exchanged pars on the first two playoff holes, with Spieth having near misses on both of his birdie putts. However, on the third playoff hole, back on No. 18, Fitzpatrick hit his second shot with a 9-iron to inside two feet for a surefire birdie. Spieth, needing a birdie to match, could not make the 45-footer.
Patrick Cantlay made birdie on the final hole to break into solo third place, a shot better than Xander Schauffele , who will team up with Cantlay next week in New Orleans to defend the Zurich Classic title.
Fitzpatrick won the $3,600,000 winner's share of the $20,000,000 purse.
RBC Heritage recap notes
Fitzpatrick earned 67 Official World Golf Ranking points with the win in the 72-hole stroke-play championship, which helps his place in the world ranking.
Fitzpatrick also earns 500 FedEx Cup points, with the points at the standard level for this event.

But as the event is right after a major, the shallow field makes for some pretty pedestrian prize money for those that do make the cut.
