Our tours have been developed for food and history lovers. In our vast touring experience we have found that younger children might be indifferent, fidgety and may not fully appreciate our tours. More importantly, their disinterest could interfere with the exciting experience which Yummy Walks has carefully crafted for you. Whether to bring your child or not is ultimately up to your discretion, but please note that all children, regardless of age, need a paid ticket. We do offer a discounted rate for children ages 12 and under. Please also note that strollers are not permitted on the tour, due to the many narrow sidewalks that we walk on, the uneven cobble stone streets that we cross, and the very small shops that we visit. If you have further questions pertaining to tickets for children, please contact us.

Please let us know if anyone in your group has a dietary restriction when purchasing your tickets. As long as we know well in advance, we can often accommodate your needs. If we do not find out about your dietary restrictions until the day of the tour, it is usually impossible for us to accommodate your needs. Additionally, there are some foods on the tour that are very difficult to replace depending on the shop or restaurant. At these stops, you may not be able to participate in the food portion of the stop, depending on your specific dietary restriction. We will always do our best to accommodate each person’s needs. We will meet in front of the Registry of Motor Vehicles, near the Haymarket T Stop (The T is America's oldest subway). During the warmer months, you will see brightly colored tables and benches near our meeting location. During the winter, this will be an empty brick area on John Fitzgerald Surface Road, between Hanover Street and Sudbury Street. Your guide will be holding an orange Secret Food Tours umbrella. No, Our tour does not cater to vegetarian dietary preferences. The North End tour is not recommended for anyone with gluten or dairy allergies.

Children are more than welcome to our tour and it's free for any child 2 years or under! We have had many families attend from all over the world and everyone enjoyed the tour.

This is not a problem. Just inform our guide before the tour starts. During the tasting you can select another beverage you like!

We give enough food to all our customers. Trust us: you will not need to go to the restaurant after the food tour!

Our tours are often sold out very quickly. If the date you requested is not available, please do not hesitate to email us and we can see if there is anything we can do. We cannot promise but we will try our best to sort something for you.

We will walk about 1 mile over the course of 3 hours, and suggest that you wear comfortable shoes. Heels are not suggested on the cobblestone streets.

We take 12 people maximum. If you are more than 12 people, please do not hesitate to email us and we will try to see if we can accommodate.

You do not have to print your voucher. A confirmation on your phone will be fine!

All of our vouchers expire one year from the date of purchase.

Our guide will take care of everything. Should you wish to try something special, please inform our guide and he will do his best to make you happy.

We work with small shops in the Boston area. The food and beer we buy is top-quality, fresh and local!

The booking fee that you have to pay is up to our ticket provider and we can't change it. All our clients need to pay for it upon booking. The booking fee charged contributes to the cost of the ticketing system to provide an excellent service to our customers.

How comprehensive is this tour?

In the spirit of spending time at each of the three eateries on this tour, your time exploring the history and other landmarks of the area will be abbreviated. You’ll still get to experience the most important elements of this lively neighborhood though.

Is lunch or dinner included in the price of the tour?

Lunch or dinner are not included in this tour, but you will enjoy delicious petiscos from three different eateries, so you should not expect to leave hungry!

What if I have food allergies, intolerances, or other dietary requirements?

Vegetarian options will be available at all of the stops, but please contact us in advance so we can do our best to accommodate any other needs. We will work with our tour partners to provide you with an alternative when possible. This tour is not suitable for vegans.

How many glasses of wine will I get? 

You'll enjoy four different beverages on this tour, one of which will be a glass of traditional green wine!

What if I don’t drink alcohol but I’d still like to join a food tour?
