Please don’t be alarmed and try to remain calm — nearly six years since her last solo trek, Beyoncé is back and (hopefully) heading to a city near you before wrapping her tour this fall. The superstar announced her massive Renaissance world tour back in February, marking Beyoncé’s first global solo tour in support of her seventh album of the same name. With the tour winding down, there’s only a few weeks left to score Beyoncé tickets . Get Beyoncé Tickets on Vivid Seats

With the final month of the Renaissance tour approaching, Beyoncé shared a statement on Instagram that “Virgo Season is upon us.” She continued: “This tour has been such a joy and as we approach the last month, my birthday wish is to celebrate with you wearing your most fabulous silver fashions to the shows 8.23 – 9.22! We’ll surround ourselves in a shimmering human disco ball each night. Everybody mirroring each other’s joy. Virgo Season together in the house of chrome. See you there! Your B at RWT.”

Ticket registration and sales for Beyoncé’s tour were previously split into three different groups, and now Beyoncé tickets are on sale for all remaining dates, including on Ticketmaster and Vivid Seats .

Renaissance World Tour 2023 North America Dates

Wondering if Beyoncé is playing a show in your area? Below are the remaining cities the Grammy winner will visit for the 2023 North American leg of the Renaissance tour . Beyoncé previously also added an additional three shows to the tour, including Atlanta (8/14/23), Las Vegas, (8/27/23), and Inglewood, CA (9/4/23).

Not surprisingly, Ticketmaster said it saw a massive demand for the Renaissance tour in a blog on its website. “Fan demand already exceeds the number of tickets available by more than 800% based on the registration numbers in the Group A cities. It is expected that many interested fans may not be able to get tickets because demand drastically exceeds supply.”

While we won’t give too much away about the Renaissance tour set list (though you’ve likely seen much of it on TikTok), you can hear more about the show in Rolling Stone Music Now ‘s podcast episode . It’s a deep-dive into what fans can expect during the concert. In short, you can likely plan to hear everything from deep cuts like opener “Dangerously in Love,” along with Renaissance tracks like “Alien Superstar,” “Cuff It,” and closer “Summer Renaissance.” Plus: “Love on Top,” “Crazy in Love,” “1+1,” and more.

When Are Beyoncé Renaissance World Tour Tickets On Sale?

According to Ticketmaster at the time, “Beyoncé is distributing tickets in three different Verified Fan sales: BeyHive Presale powered by Ticketmaster Verified Fan; Citi Presale powered by Verified Fan and the General Verified Fan Onsale. Additionally, there will be a Verizon Up Presale. Registration windows vary by city, so check the schedule below and be sure to note when the window closes for the show you’re interested in attending.”

In other words, if you tried to register for Verified Fan presale, you needed to see which group your city was a part of ahead of time. Group A registration was open until Feb. 2, with Group B registration previously scheduled until Feb. 9, and Group C until Feb. 16.

European dates started in May, and Beyoncé embarked on the North American leg of the Renaissance tour over the summer, including stops in Toronto (read our Renaissance tour review ), Los Angeles, Houston, and New Orleans. Though Beyoncé headlined a show in Dubai — her first concert in four years at the time — she didn’t play any songs from Renaissance , Rolling Stone ‘s No. 1 album of 2022 (“the musical highlight of the year”) and a frontrunner at the 65th Grammys .

When Beyoncé dropped Renaissance last summer, Rolling Stone ‘s Mankaprr Conteh wrote that “Beyoncé flung open the doors to a nightclub of her own making, a place where anyone can be the hottest person in the galaxy … the album traverses eras of dance music to conjure the superhuman confidence and deeply human connection of a night out. The thematic triumph of the auteur’s seventh album is this union of the extraordinary and the earthly across it, a duality that lives on the dancefloors Renaissance was inspired by — and in all of us.”

How to Get Beyoncé Tickets With BeyHive Verified Fan Registration

BeyHive Verified Fan Presale started Feb. 6 for those who registered in Group A, followed by Groups B and C.

The first round of the BeyHive presale arrived just one day after Beyoncé made Grammys history on Feb. 5. With 32 wins under her belt, Beyoncé broke the record for the most Grammy Awards in music history, winning the Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Album for Renaissance .

“I’d like to thank my beautiful husband, my beautiful three children who are at home watching,” Queen Bey said during her acceptance speech. “I’d like to thank the queer community, for your love, and for inventing this genre. God bless you. Thank you so much to the Grammys.”

While Renaissance didn’t win a trophy for Album of the Year , Beyoncé still took home a slew of other awards, including Best R&B Song for “Cuff It,” Best Dance/Electronic Record for “Break My Soul,” and Best Traditional R&B Performance for “Plastic Off the Sofa.”

“You changed my life,” Lizzo told Beyoncé during her Grammys acceptance speech for her Record of the Year win. “You sang that gospel medley, and the way you made me feel, I was like, ‘I want to make people feel this way with my music.’ So thank you so much. You clearly are the artist of our lives.”

Beyoncé announces 2023 ‘renaissance tour.’ here’s where she’s performing.

Thanks for contacting us. We've received your submission.

The Beyhive is buzzing like never before.

After much speculation, Beyoncé has officially announced her highly anticipated stadium “Renaissance Tour.”

Seven years after her “Formation Tour” and five years after the “On The Run II Tour” with her husband Jay Z, the 28-time Grammy winner (and 88-time nominee!) will embark on her solo headlining “Renaissance Tour” in support of her critically acclaimed chart-topping 2022 album “Renaissance” all summer long.

The international tour will start overseas in Sweden, Belgium, the U.K., France and Germany in May before she returns to North America for 29 huge stadium concerts starting July 8 at Toronto’s Rogers Centre .

Singer Beyoncé strikes a pose onstage.

And although Queen Bey isn’t coming to the Big Apple on the run — as of now — she will get close to the City That Never Sleeps.

On July 29 and July 30 , Mrs. Knowles is set to touch down at East Rutherford’s MetLife Stadium for two huge back-to-back concerts.

She’s familiar with the venue too. The last show of her “Formation Tour” was at the Giants and Jets’ home stadium on Oct. 7, 2016. That time around, she brought Jay Z and Kendrick Lamar onstage with her.

Who will she bring this time? Will she sing the same songs she did at her recent Dubai concert?

All we know is the best way to find out is live.

Want to see live music this year?

Check out our list of the 52 biggest concert tours in 2023 here.

Beyoncé 2023 tour schedule

Where will Beyoncé go on tour in North America?

Below, you’ll find a complete list of all upcoming 26 tour dates, venues and links to buy tickets for shows where the pre-sale has already taken place.

Beyoncé opening acts

At the time of publication, Beyoncé does not have any opening acts lined up for her 2023 “Renaissance Tour” although there are rumors that 74-year-old singer Grace Jones will be joining her swirling on Twitter .

We personally can’t get enough of Jones’ seven-minute cover of Roxy Music’s “Love Is the Drug.”

In 2016, Knowles was joined by DJ Khaled on the “Formation Tour.” Two years later, she co-headlined with her husband and fellow 88-time Grammy nominee Jay Z on the “On The Run II Tour.”

Beyoncé Dubai setlist

Although Beyoncé didn’t perform any tracks from her 2022 record “Renaissance” at the Jan. 23 concert in Dubai, she was able to cram in several hits from her expansive catalogue as well as a few covers into her 17-song set.

Here’s her set list (courtesy of  SetList.FM ):

01.)  “At Last”   (Harry Warren cover; made famous by Etta James)

02.)  “XO”  ( from her 2014 album “Beyonce”)

03.)  “Flaws And All”   (from her 2007 album “B’Day”)

04.)  “Ava Maria”   (from her 2008 album “I Am Sasha Fierce”)

05.)  “Halo”   (from her 2008 album “I Am Sasha Fierce”)

06.)  “Brown Skin Girl”   featuring Blue Ivy Carter   (from the 2019 “Lion King: The Gift”)

07.)  “Be Alive”   (from the 2021 “King Richard” soundtrack)

08.)  “Otherside”   (from the 2019 “Lion King: The Gift”)

09.)  “Bigger”  from the 2019 “Lion King: The Gift”)

10.)  “Spirit”   from the 2019 “Lion King Soundtrack”)

11.)  “Freedom”   (from her 2016 album “Lemonade”)

12.)  “I Care”   (from her 2011 album “4”)

13.)  “Beautiful Liar”   (from her 2007 album “B’Day”)

14.)  “Crazy In Love”   (from her 2003 album “Dangerously In Love”)

15.)  “Countdown”   (from her 2011 album “4”)

16.)  “Naughty Girl”   (from her 2003 album “Dangerously In Love”)

17.)  “Drunk In Love”   (from her 2014 album “Beyonce”)

Beyoncé “Renaissance” album

Knowles’ “Renaissance” was the most critically-acclaimed album of 2022 showing up on countless year-end lists as 2022’s best.

The 16-track album, clocking in at just a little over an hour was also extremely popular with fans as well quickly charting at number on the Billboard 200, making it Beyoncé’s seventh album to hit the top spot.

However, the record that brought the world “Break My Soul” may have more to it.

Beyoncé has hinted that the record is part of a three-part series; in a June 28, 2022 announcement she called it “Act I.”

Since the album’s release, it has undergone a few transformations.

According to Pitchfork, Beyoncé “replaced ableist lyrics in “ Heated ,” and  removed  an interpolation of  Kelis ’ “Milkshake” on “Energy” after Kelis said  she was not informed  by Beyoncé and her team that her music was going to be used on the new album.”

She also reportedly dropped  Honey Dijon  and  Madonna  remixes of “Break My Soul.”

Beyoncé Grammys

Beyonce’s seventh studio album “Renaissance,” netted nine Grammy nominations for Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Record of the Year, Best Dance/Electronic Recording, Best Dance/Electronic Album, Best R&B Performance, Best Traditional R&B Performance, Best R&B Song and Best Song Written For Visual Media.

The nine nominations tie Beyonce with her husband Jay Z for most all-time Grammy nominations with 88 apiece.

Huge concert tours in 2023

While a Beyoncé tour announcement may trump all others in terms of hype, there quite a few exciting tours to look out for in the next few months.

Here are just five of our favorite, can’t miss concerts that may be coming to a city near you soon.

•  Taylor Swift

•  Madonna

•  Adele

•  Janet Jackson

Hmm I wonder if the woman who keeps banging on about Brown Skin and being an African Queen will actually go to the African continent with her tour because she never has before, which I always thought was funny considering how much she reveres it. Overrated anyway.

Beyoncé Announces Additional Dates For Her Highly Anticipated Renaissance World Tour

Updated on 2/2/2023 at 6:15 PM

beyonce tour tickets price 2023

After much speculation and months of waiting, Beyoncé is finally taking " Renaissance " on tour this summer! Queen Bey made the official announcement on Feb. 1 with a dazzling poster for the Renaissance World Tour posted on Instagram and tour dates listed on her website . The news caused so much excitement among fans that Beyoncé added additional dates the very next day.

Beyoncé's announcement comes a few short months after she first teased her world tour at the fifth annual Wearable Art Gala , at which the Grammy winner was in attendance. On Saturday, Oct. 22, 2022, she raffled off a lavish concert package valued at $20,000, which included first-class plane tickets, a three-night hotel stay, two "Renaissance" concert tickets, and a guided backstage tour from her mother, Tina Knowles-Lawson.

While the exact amount that the package was auctioned off for has yet to be revealed, video footage from the event shows bids reaching $50,000 and more, as reported by Yahoo News . The only thing that's certain is that the first two tickets to the "Renaissance" tour were sold ahead of its wider sale. Now, fans will be able to purchase their own tickets starting on Monday, Feb. 6, beginning with an exclusive presale to BeyHive members, per a press release from Live Nation.

Beyoncé's Parkwood Entertainment-produced tour kicks off on May 10, 2023, at Friends Arena in Stockholm, SE, followed by stops throughout Europe and North America. It comes on the heels of her seventh solo album, act one of a three-part series, which arrived in July 2022, six years after she gave us 2016's " Lemonade ."

The 41-year-old Grammy-winning icon celebrated its release on her website , writing, "We did it!!! Thank you all so much for you love and support . . . This was years of experimentation. This was years of hard work, blood, sweat, and tears. I'm so grateful and it was worth it. I'm thankful that it was received and understood." She also hosted a star-studded Studio 54-inspired dance party at New York City's Paradise Club to mark the album becoming her seventh No. 1 solo album and the biggest debut from a woman artist this year, per Billboard .

Back in August, Beyoncé teased a clip from her first "Renaissance" music video, " I'm That Girl ," and most recently put on a grandiose live performance at the reveal of Dubai's Atlantis The Royal Hotel, which POPSUGAR was on hand to see, in January — marking her first concert in four years. She didn't perform any of her "Renaissance" songs, but now it's clear she's saving it all for her world tour.

Read ahead to find out everything we know about Beyoncé's Renaissance World Tour, including dates and how to buy tickets.

What To Expect From Beyoncé’s 2023 Renaissance World Tour

The stadium tour kicks off in May in cities across Europe and the U.S.

Beyoncé's 2023 Tour: Dates, Tickets, & Presale For 'Renaissance' Shows

Get ready for your soul (or at least your bank account) to be broken . Queen Bey is coming to a city near you soon. More than six months after releasing Renaissance , her first solo studio album in six years, Beyoncé finally announced the Renaissance World Tour , sharing the poster on Instagram and posting the tour dates on her website on Feb. 1. The stadium jaunt will kick off in May in Sweden, with dates currently confirmed across Europe and North America.

The Renaissance World Tour will mark Beyoncé’s first live shows in five years — aside from the extravagant private show she played in Dubai on Jan. 21 for the grand re-opening of the Atlantis resort, for which she was reportedly paid around $24 million . Naturally, demand has proven to be enormous, leading Bey to add more shows across the U.S. and Europe. She last co-headlined the On The Run II Tour with her husband Jay-Z in 2018. The singer was rumored to have planned a tour in 2020 to promote The Lion King: The Gift and its accompanying Black Is King film , but dates were inevitably scrapped due to lockdown. Her last solo outing was the Formation World Tour in 2016.

In October, the “CUFF IT” singer indicated — in a very low-key way — that she would embark on a 2023 world tour to promote her seventh studio album . At the inaugural Wearable Art Gala, the 28-time Grammy winner auctioned off a “UNIQUE opportunity,” referencing her fan-favorite track “ALIEN SUPERSTAR,” to see one of her upcoming shows. The listing confirms that the Renaissance tour will kick off in the summer of 2023, calling it “one of the most sought-after musical performances of all time” and assuring international fans that Bey will take the tour worldwide.

That VIP package included two concert tickets, first-class airfare to select cities, a three-night hotel stay, and to top it off, a guided backstage tour from Beyoncé’s mother Tina Knowles-Lawson. According to Variety , the winning bidder paid between $45,000 and $50,000 for the honor of seeing Bey. Thankfully, this did not indicate the price range for normal Renaissance tour tickets.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Renaissance World Tour.

Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour Dates

The Renaissance World Tour will kick off on May 10 in Sweden and take Beyoncé to 14 cities across the UK and Europe before heading to the U.S. and Canada. The North American leg will start on July 8 in Toronto and conclude nearly three months later in New Orleans. Demand for tickets ended up being so big that Beyoncé added multiple dates across both continents. On Feb. 2, she announced second shows in several U.S. cities , and added multiple dates across the UK and Europe on Feb. 7, including a total of five shows in London alone.

How To Buy Renaissance Tour Tickets

Like Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour , fans will need to register with Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan program to buy tickets to the Renaissance World Tour. BeyHive subscribers can register for their own Verified Fan presale, which comes first, while Citi cardmembers will also have a separate presale before the general Verified Fan onsale. The shows have been divided into Groups A, B, and C, which all have different registration periods and presale dates. Therefore, not all shows will go on sale at once, decreasing the chances of the traffic jams that happened for Swift’s Eras Tour .

That said, huge traffic and long virtual queues are still expected, as Ticketmaster announced the day after the tour announcement that the number of Verified Fan registrations exceeded the number of tickets available by nearly 800%. For cities in Group A, the BeyHive presale will begin on Feb. 6, with the Citi presale happening the next day and the general Verified Fan onsale being held on Feb. 11. The presales for Group B will be held the following week, and tickets for Group C shows will go on sale the week after. Originally, fans had until Feb. 2 to register for Group A shows, Feb. 9 for Group B, and Feb. 16 for Group C. But due to the demand, Ticketmaster ended up cutting off registration for all shows on Feb. 5.

Beyoncé Renaissance tour setlist: What songs will she play?

Over the course of her iconic career to date, Beyoncé has released seven studio albums, a collaborative album with JAY-Z, a soundtrack album, multiple live albums and four albums as part of Destiny's Child. It's also believed that Renaissance is the first album of a three-album project. Taking this into consideration, she has hundreds of iconic songs to pick from.

Like most of Beyoncé's previous tours, it seems likely that the Renaissance tour will mainly feature the songs of the album it's promoting alongside her biggest hits and fan favourite deep cuts. Expect to hear 'Break My Soul', 'Cuff It' and 'Alien Superstar' alongside the likes of 'Formation', 'Crazy In Love' and 'Love on Top'.

We're also keeping our fingers crossed that underrated bops like 'Blow', 'Find Your Way Back' and 'Schoolin' Life' will appear somewhere in the setlist.

As usual, we won't know the setlist until the first date of the tour. Return to this page then to find out what she plays.

Beyonce Renaissance Album

Beyoncé seemingly confirmed she will be on tour next summer during WACO Theater‘s Wearable Art Gala 2022 on Saturday night by auctioning an extravagant concert ticket package during the charity event.

There are conflicting reports online, however, the winning bidder was said to have paid between $45,000 and $50,000 for the prize.

Beyoncé has yet to officially announce or comment on the tour. “Renaissance” was released in July but details on the project’s forthcoming parts, visuals and live performances have remained strictly under wraps.

Beyoncé, Jay-Z, and their daughter Blue Ivy all attended the inaugural event in Santa Monica, hosted by the singer’s mother and stepfather (WACO founders and co-artistic directors), Tina Knowles-Lawson and Richard Lawson. The ceremony, which was sponsored by Amazon Music and Shea Moisture, also welcomed various actors and musicians like honoree Angela Bassett, Lupita Nyong’o, Kelly Rowland, Quinta Brunson and Michelle Williams.

The “Harlem Nights”-themed gala served as a fundraiser to support WACO’s artistic and mentorship programs and also spotlighted the organization’s (started by the Lawsons in 2017) shared mission for diversity and inclusion. The night was hosted by Keke Palmer and featured a special performance by Andra Day as well as a musical tribute by Chloe and Halle Bailey.

Variety  has reached out to Beyonce’s agency for comment.

Concert Ticket Pricing Surge Fueled by Artists, Promoters

The concert industry saw record-shattering profits in 2023, drawing billions on the back of high profile tours from big-name artists like Taylor Swift and Beyonce. However, these ground-breaking numbers came with ever higher ticket prices — a fact that has left a sour taste in the mouths of concertgoers across the globe.

While companies like Ticketmaster, its promotional giant parent Live Nation Entertainment, or other whales like AEG, Oak View Group, or the umbrella indie lobbying coalition NIVA are quick to point the blame for inflated ticket prices solely on the existence of an independent ticket resale industry, the truth is far less cut and dried than they’d like consumers to believe.

Over the past year, we’ve seen a typical scenario, particularly with newer artists. Country star Zach Bryan is one artist who garnered a massive amount of attention over a year timespan. According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel , tickets to his show at Summerfest in July 2023 started at $68.17, with prices topping-out at $476.70. However, just eight months later, his gig on March 20 at the Fiserv Forum started at $330.

ticketflipping provides valuable tools for ticket resale professionals

Rising indie star Noah Kahan experienced similar success , touring in support of his breakthrough Stick Season , as well as pop’s Olivia Rodrigo, who stirred up controversy during tickets to her GUTS tour. Rodrigo’s tour was followed by tour announcements by the likes of blink-182 , Bad Bunny, Morgan Wallen , and Sleep Token. No matter the genre, fans were all experiencing the same scenario: they’d struggle through Ticketmaster’s ticket-buying process — leading to either being kicked-out of the onsale queue or placed in the infamous waitlist — just to reach a checkout page and find unattainable prices.

So, why are prices on the rise?

Dynamic Pricing

Most notably, Swift’s Eras Tour presale was so chaotic that it sparked an investigation by the Department of Justice into Live Nation and Ticketmaster’s 2010 merger, pointing to monopolistic and alleged anticompetitive practices.

FPC Live’s Goldstone noted that while ticketsellers like Ticketmaster don’t set the price of tickets, they have the ability to use algorithmic pricing tools like dynamic pricing. These tactics allow Live Nation and Ticketmaster to surge pricing based on market demands.

Live Nation antitrust czar Dan Wall disagrees with assumptions that his company has anything to do with surging ticket prices. He argued that the high prices are simply a natural progression of the events industry in its modern form, rather than a reflection of an industry where one company serves as both the largest promoter in the world, and the operator of a ticketing platform that handles an estimated 60-80 percent of ticket transaction volume in North America.

Post-Pandemic Recovery

Although the COVID-19 pandemic may seem far behind us, the concert industry has just began to fully recover. After almost two years of tours halted and mask mandates, the industry returned in 2023 with a box-office haul. According to Pollstar , there was a 46% increase in ticket sales from 2022, with sales for the top 100 tours up 18.4%.

| READ: Live Nation Highlights Stranglehold on Industry With Record-Breaking 2023 Earnings |

Live Nation also reported its “biggest year yet,” with revenue was up 36% to $22.7 billion last year with an operating income up 46% to $1.07 billion. Live Nation reported all-time highs for attendance, ticket sales, and sponsorship activity, with over 145 million fans attending over 50,000 events. In terms of concerts, revenue increased by 39% to $18.8 billion.

It’s no surprise that concert tickets would be on the rise following the halted few years during the pandemic, and it became clear that people were itching to get back to venues to see big-name acts like Swift and rock icon Bruce Springsteen — both who boast a successful, years-worth catalog of music that could offer shows spanning over two hours each.

The Concert Experience

Especially following the pandemic, people want to feel that sense of unity again, and that’s something a concert can offer. Scott Leslie, FPC Live co-president, told the Sentinel that “people have a different kind of relationship with artists than other entertainers.”

“Whether it’s the lyrical connection or whatever else, it’s individual for everybody, and where the demand comes from is being in the room with them for those two hours,” Leslie said. “That is not something that is able to be replaced, and that is why demand is so much crazier.”

Costs of Touring

While Swift could have played even more shows on The Eras Tour, it’s impossible for one person to play high-energy shows every single day. This leads to a limited number of shows, and subsequently, a limited number of tickets. Amid the scarcity, touring costs have become higher, with more money needed for a tour bus, hotel accommodations, technology, and more.

Last year, the metalheads of Flotsam and Jetsam had to cancel their European tour due to higher-than-expected costs associated with touring following the COVID-19 pandemic. Others have been outspoken regarding expensive ticket prices due to touring, including Megadeth’s Dave Mustaine.

Mustaine explained that every person on tour with his band gets paid on a per-day basis, whether or not they’re working. These include the crew that works on lighting, sound, and monitors, as well as the guitar and bass techs. Additionally, there are people working backstage, along with bus and truck drivers, caterers, and hotels.

“So the cost just keeps going up and up and up,” Mustaine said. “And a lot of people look at the ticket price, and they think, ‘Man, I’m not paying 75 bucks to go see these guys.’ And it’s unfair to say that.”

Fans Are Willing to Pay

At the end of the day, concert prices would likely fall if concertgoers came together and collectively decided not to purchase tickets. But, the reality of the situation is — people love concerts. Whether its for that special concert experience to feel close to an artist and their lyrics or to get out and have an unforgettable night, they’re going to shell out a good amount of money to see their favorite performer.

It’s also worth noting that spending habits have shifted over the years; Gary Witt, CEO of Milwaukee venue operator and events promoter Pabst Theater Group, told the Sentinel that back in 2008, the average home buyer was 31-years-old. Now, that number has jumped to 49-years-old.

“Concerts are very much a place where people are putting some money they used to save to buy their first home,” Witt said.

Artists Can Charge More

Ticket prices are also increasing simply because artists want them to. According to Dave Brooks, senior director of live and touring for Billboard , “tours are finding out they can charge more.”

“Fans are willing to pay more for high-demand shows. They are willing to pay more for the artists that they like and want to see, and they really value that experience.”

Springsteen actually stood by the uptick in ticket prices for his tour last year, telling Rolling Stone that if a ticket broker is allowed to make so much money off a resale ticket, “Why shouldn’t that money go to the guys that are going to be up there sweating three hours a night for it?”

What do you think is the prime reason behind an uptick in ticket prices? Let us know in our poll below:

Why fans think Beyoncé's 'Renaissance' Act 3 will be rock — or 'full on Spanish'

B eyoncé’s “ Renaissance” started with disco , then moved to country . Fans now await details for the promised third installment, and speculate she will choose a new genre to explore.

“Essentially all the acts are a reclamation of lost Black music,” one fan theorized on X , speculating the third act would focus on the rock genre.

The project's first part, the album “Renaissance,” released in 2022 and became a rallying cry to the tune of house music for self-love and self-determination in the face of structural barriers gatekeeping equitable experiences.

"Creating this album allowed me a place to dream and to find escape during a scary time for the world," she wrote on Instagram in June 2022. "It allowed me to feel free and adventurous in a time when little else was moving. My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgment. A place to be free of perfectionism and overthinking. A place to scream, release, feel freedom."

Beyoncé wanted the "Renaissance" tour to become a “human disco ball,” she said on her website at the time . From May 2023 to October 2023, the tour raked in upwards of $4.5 billion for the U.S. economy, The New York Times estimated.

The project was nominated for nine Grammys in 2023 and won four. The wins put her over the top to become the artist with the most Grammy wins of all time.

Beyoncé said earlier this month on Instagram that her new country album, "Cowboy Carter," is “a continuation of ‘Renaissance.’”

“I hope this music is an experience, creating another journey where you can close your eyes, start from the beginning and never stop,” she said.

She also shared the inspiration behind the album.

"This album has been over five years in the making. It was born out of an experience that I had years ago where I did not feel welcomed … and it was very clear that I wasn’t."

Fans are speculating that the singer is referring to her 2016 performance of her country song "Daddy's Lessons" with the Dixie Chicks, now known as The Chicks, at the Country Music Association Awards.

The fallout centered around backlash from some country fans and speculation that the CMAs scrubbed videos of the performance from their online presence, The New York Times reported. The CMAs told the outlet at the time that they deleted their posts of the performance at Beyoncé's request.

The singer did not specifically mention this incident as the experience from years ago that birthed “Cowboy Carter,” but mentioned the country genre.

“But, because of that experience, I did a deeper dive into the history of Country music and studied our rich musical archive,” she said. "The criticisms I faced when I first entered this genre forced me to propel past the limitations that were put on me."

The album, per a press release from her company Parkwood Entertainment, "redefines and rebuilds what is Country and Americana."

"Cowboy Carter" was actually recorded before "Renaissance", the press release said. "With the pandemic, there was too much heaviness in the world. We wanted to dance. We deserved to dance. But I had to trust God’s timing," she said.

Just as she's making a place for herself in the country genre, “Renaissance” was thought to create a space in house music for the genre’s creators , Black queer communities.

Fans are convinced that "Renaissance" Act III will follow the same theme of reclaiming genres that the first two albums did.

But they’re divided on which genre Beyoncé will use to do that for part three and who will join her. "Renaissance" featured artists like Tems, Grace Jones and Beam and sampled Donna Summer , the queen of disco. "Cowboy Carter" features Miley Cyrus, Tanner Ardell and Dolly Parton.

“Beyoncé‘s act 3 won’t be a rock (album),” another person weighed in. “I predict Neo Soul will be the theme.”

“Beyoncé did house music for act 1, country for act 2 and when she do pop for act 3 and Ariana is featured on the album,” a third fan hoped , referring to Ariana Grande.

Others predicted rap , which she has dabbled with in the past, or a " full Spanish album ."

Beyoncé has not announced a release date for the final act, but stay tuned. She’s full of surprise drops , as she did in 2016 with album “Lemonade.”

Taylor Swift's reign continues as she ramps up for the next leg of The Eras Tour. The singer-songwriter will kick off the European portion of her world tour in Paris in May, which will continue throughout the summer. From there, she'll return to North America to tour Canada and a few remaining US cities in the fall. If you're hoping to attend, we've compiled all of the details of The Eras Tour, including how to get Taylor Swift tour tickets.

Swift's Eras Tour has taken the world by storm since March 2023. The three-plus-hour tour features hits from each of Swift's album eras, from "Lover" to her recent Grammy Award-winning "Midnights." Each show also features surprise songs and occasional guests, so fans never quite know what they're in for. Swift will release her latest album, "The Tortured Poets Department," in April, but it's unknown if any of those songs will make their way to the tour setlist.

Getting tickets has become its own battle and many fans have waited hours in the Ticketmaster queue to hopefully snag some seats, if they could get a presale ticket code in the first place. While Swift continues to extend the tour, including new US dates, tickets remain hard to come by.

Below, we've put together a guide on everything to know about The Eras Tour, including the tour schedule, ticket purchasing details, resale ticket prices, and the concert film streaming options . You can also peruse resale vendors like StubHub and Vivid Seats at your leisure.

Taylor Swift North American tour dates

The Eras tour will return to the US on October 18 in Miami. In addition to the Miami shows, Swift will perform multiple dates in New Orleans and Indianapolis. On November 14, Swift will head to Canada for several shows in Toronto and Vancouver. All North American shows start at 7 p.m. local time.

Tickets for most dates are available on resale websites like StubHub and Vivid Seats . These are generally higher-priced than the originals, which are no longer available. Keep in mind that some countries have rules regarding reselling tickets.

How much are Taylor Swift tickets?

Ticket prices vary by date and location. International resale tickets tend to be a bit cheaper than US resale tickets. It's worth noting that some of the cheapest tickets have restricted views.

StubHub's cheapest European tickets range from $392 (Madrid, Spain, on May 29) to £978 (London, United Kingdom, on June 22). The latter is around $1,248 in USD. Will Taylor Swift add more dates to the Eras Tour?

Taylor Swift already added additional stops to her tour due to popular demand, including her US tour dates this fall. She also added additional dates to some of her European city stops, including bonus performances in France and the United Kingdom, among other locations. It's unknown whether Swift will end up adding even more tour dates, but by the end of the upcoming US leg she will have been touring for almost two years, so fans shouldn't be surprised if she takes a break.

It's the third time the event will be in the stadium that's home to the NFL's Houston Texans and it marks the 26th consecutive Final Four in a domed stadium.

The seating capacity for the Final Four this year will be over 71,000, allowing many fans a chance to experience college basketball's biggest event.

Now that we know which team will be playing for the title, ticket prices have adjusted accordingly. Tickets for the games have been on sale since before the tournament started, but they have dropped since the start of the Elite Eight.

How much do Final Four tickets cost?

You could spend less than $100 on your ticket, depending on which game or games you go to.

There are different ways you can buy tickets for the Final Four; a semifinal pass – tickets to both Final Four games – or the all-session ticket – tickets to both Final Four games and the national championship game.

Tickets located close to the court or near the half-court line will typically be the most expensive tickets, TicketSmarter says.

The average ticket price for an all-session ticket is $844, according to TickPick , a near $800 drop from when the Elite Eight began.

How much does the cheapest Final Four ticket cost?

For semifinal tickets, the cheapest ticket can be found on Ticketmaster for $50, $59 with fees. Prices have continued to drop since the end of the Elite Eight.

Here are the cheapest tickets for the semifinal games on on the secondary market, as of Monday:

  • TicketSmarter : $65 ($84 with fees).
  • StubHub : $53 ($66 with fees).
  • Ticketmaster : $50 ($59 with fees).
  • SeatGeek : $59 ($85 with fees).
  • Vivid Seats : $60 (prices with fees unavailable).
  • TickPick : $76 with fees.

For all session tickets, the cheapest ticket can be found on StubHub for $90, totaling $112 with fees. Here are the cheapest tickets for all-session on on the secondary market:

  • Vivid Seats : $89 (prices with fees unavailable).
  • TickPick : $116 with fees.

How much do national championship game tickets cost?

Tickets for the men's basketball national title game are the cheapest of any session at the Final Four this year.

The cheapest ticket to the national championship game is $44 on StubHub, which is $55 with fees, as prices have continued to drop since the tournament began. Here are the cheapest tickets for the title game on the secondary market:

  • TicketSmarter : $66 ($85 with fees).
  • StubHub : $44 ($55 with fees).
  • Ticketmaster : $48 ($58 with fees).
  • SeatGeek : $54 ($78 with fees).
  • Vivid Seats : $52 (prices with fees unavailable).
  • TickPick : $68 with fees.

Will Final Four tickets get cheaper or more expensive?

Ticket prices have continued to drop since the Final Four field was set, likely because none of the teams are considered "blue bloods," and have smaller fan bases than previous Final Four qualifiers.

"There are many variables that affect the ticket prices," TicketSmarter says. "The location of the games, the number of games you wish to attend, the popularity of the teams playing, seating capacity and seat location are all factors that are taken into consideration."

Adam Budelli, spokesperson for StubHub, advises people interested in going to the Final Four to check the secondary market throughout the tournament, especially the week leading up to the Final Four.

"The NCAA is the most dynamic sporting event for tickets because of the number of games, early team exits, upsets, city destinations and short timeframe before the next round," Budelli said in a statement to USA TODAY. "The good news is that fans can find good prices if they pay attention to the market."
