Westfalenstadion is the legendary home stadium of every neutrals’ favourite German side, Borussia Dortmund. Officially the ground is known as Signal Iduna Park for sponsorship purposes in a deal set to last until 2021.

The 80,000 capacity makes it the largest stadium in Germany and the third biggest in the top-flight of football (behind Camp Nou and the Bernabéu) .

Borussia Dortmund’s Westfalenstadion was originally built as a playing venue for the 1974 Fifa World Cup with enough room for 54,000 supporters.

The first match was held on April 2nd against rivals Schalke 04 in a Charity Game as Borussia Dortmund were in a poor financial position at the time.

The first “official” match occurred 5 days later on the 7th of April and this time the home side managed to scrape a point against Bayer Uerdingen.

The newly built Westphalia stadium hosted 4 group matches of the World Cup including three games of the Netherlands including an intriguing clash against Brazil.

After the world cup, the stadium became pretty much unchanged for the next 18 years until the early 1990s when some of the seating was converted to standing areas in 1992.

Spurred on by a Bundesliga tittle in the 1991-1992 season and a runners up place in the UEFA Cup the following season the club’s revenues began to grow which gave Dortmund the financial platform to redevelop parts of the stadium which would eventually occur in three distinct phases.

Phase 1 (1995-1997) saw establishment of an upper tier brining the capacity up to 55,000, Phase 2 (1998-1999) continued the creation of a uniform upper tier and remodelling of terraced south stand capable of holding 25,000 visitors, and Phase 3 (2002-2003) saw the corners of the stadium filled in resulting in the current 80,000 plus capacity .

For the 2006 World cup finals a modification took place which focused on additional VIP boxes, improved disabled access, electronic ticketing and refitted changing rooms.

Fifa World Cup Stadium Dortmund hosted four group matches and a legendary semi final between the home side, Germany and Italy with the Italians winning 2 nil in extra time following a goalless draw at the end of 90 minutes.

Matchday Experience

Signal iduna park away section.

The away section is housed within the central column of the Nord Tribune slightly towards the right hand-side, and whether through a conscious decision or not, away supporters aren’t confined to the corner as they so often are in football stadiums across Europe.

Appearing to be a nice touch by Dortmund at first, one you’ve had a glimpse of the famous Yellow Wall Kop Stand you may be feeling angry your club’s stadium hasn’t got anything like it.

The ticket allocation is usually around 2,000 – 3,000 depending on the opposition, and seating is distributed across both tiers of the north stand between sections: 08, 60, 61, 70, 71 and 75. You can cross referee the seating plan above to see where you will be sitting.

Best Pubs near ground

One of the most popular pre-match hang-outs is the large Strobels Bar located north-east of the stadium which serves beer and has a large outdoor area. Inside the ground you can also purchase pints and take them into the stadium which really does help with the atmosphere!

As for drinking either before or after the match in the city centre the highest rated pub amongst visiting football fans is continually the amusingly named Brauhaus Wenkers. Located centrally it has a decent selection of local pilsners and multiple TV screens showing the football.

Food - Places to eat

Around the business park where Signal Iduna is location there are a few dining options before the game such as Steakhouse Rodizio next to Theodor-Fliedner-Heim tram station and the NRW Cocktails bar near to the Westfalenhallen stop. North of the stadium there is also the likes of Mongos Asian restaurant,  Das Allegro and Restaurant de Luca.

Within the stadium itself Strobels Dortmund restaurant comes highly rated and the numerous fast-food stalls and outlets will ensure you don’t starve. Plus you can drink beer in the stands, so what more could you possibly want?

Borussia Dortmund Club Shop

Borussia Dortmund operate several fanshops throughout the city in addition to their very own International Online Store which allows fans the opportunity to purchase goods 24/7 from the comfort of their own home. The most popular one for most fans is located in the north-east corner of Signal Iduna Park stadium across two floors.

• Matchdays: Open before kick-off and for one hour after full time whistle.

Can you take a stadium Tour?

Die Schwarzgelben (The Black and Yellows) offer fans the chance to undertake a 75 minute guided tour of the iconic Westfalenstadion, now known as Signal Iduna Park.

The tour costs a more than reasonable €10.00 for adults and €7.00 for concessions, with tours running everyday between 10.00 am and 6.00 pm except on matchdays which coincides with the museum opening times. Tickets can either be purchased at official BVB stores across the city, or at the stadium before the tour with a limit of 40 people per group.

How to buy Borussia Dortmund Tickets

Tickets to see Borussia Dortmund play football can either be purchased online, by phone +49 1805 309000, or in person at one of the numerous BVB fan shops throughout the city.

The pricing at Westfalenstadion is very affordable with tickets generally starting at just €16.00 for a place to stand in the Southern Terrace and then up to €30.00 for a seat in the upper corners, with a central positioned seat within the main stand on average €50.00.

As one of the most popular football clubs in Germany, acquiring tickets can often be difficult as most matches tend to sell out – including those against the less popular teams. This means that you might have to search for resellers.

How to get to Signal Iduna Park

Signal Iduna Park is located next to the Westfalenhallen conference centre which is approximately 3km South Westish of Dortmund’s city centre.

The Stadium has good connections to the nearby Autobahns with the address for satnav is as follows:

The area around Signal Iduna and Westfalenhalle has over 10,000 metered parking spaces available to use. There is also a free parking and shuttle bus service from the Dortmund Megastore located at Dortmund-Horde, Felicitasstraße, B54 exit Rombergpark.

Train - Public Transport

Signal Iduna Park is only a 5 train journey from Dortmund’s main train station (Hauptbahnhof abbreviated to HBF) with the closest station conveniently named “Dortmund Signal Iduna Park”.

Trains typically run anywhere between three to four times an hour, and it will cost you no more than a few euros for a single or return.

Public Transport of Signal Iduna Park

Alternatively you can take the U-Bahn tramline which may be more convenient depending on your starting location as it has lots of Stations/Stops throughout the city.

Lines 45 and 46 drop you off at Westfalenhallen which is the nearest stop at 5 minutes walk away, with a special service on matchdays going slightly further and taking you along to the next stop, “Westfalen Stadion” which is even less of a walk.

The nearest Airport is located 10 km east of the city and is known as just Dortmund. As it is the second largest in the North Rhine-Westphalia region (Behind Düsseldorf  Airport), it is served by numerous low cost and budget airlines making it ideal for a cheap football weekend.

In terms of ground transportation once you arrive there is an express bus to Dortmund’s main station as well as shuttles to the metro lines and nearby railway stations.

Hotels Near Signal Iduna Park

As Signal Iduna Park is situated within a business park area with conference centres there are a few accommodation options such as the affordable B&B Hotel Dortmund-Messe, Mercure Hotel Dortmund Messe & Kongress (Ex Best Western) and Hotel Pullman Dortmund which is just the other side of the A40.

As the stadium is less than 3 km from the city centre you’re probably much better off looking there with the concentric ring road marking off numerous choices such as Park Inn by Radisson, City Hotel Dortmund and Hotel Carlton near the station.

In each episode, we focus on discovering a facet of Borussia Dortmund's life in the podcast by talking to experts and former participants in the club's life such as players, fans, coaches or even journalists who have influenced this club in its development. Our guests on the podcast today,  a UEFA European Championship 2024 preview, are Nick Rayner, chief football writer of The Yorkshire Post newspaper, and Andreas Gschaider, a Munich-based football entrepreneur.  Stuart Rayner the author and chief football writer of the Yorkshire Post newspaper. Stuart is also a specialised cricket writer and the author of two books 'Five Trophies and a Funeral' and 'War of the Roses'. Andreas Gschaider, is the founder of football training app B42, the app which was created together with the DFB, the German national team, Physio Oliver Schmidtlein. B42 is a specialist training app which allows players to put together training programmes designed to optimise training and recovery, as well as nutritional advice. The app is used by over 1,000 teams including 1. FC Nürnberg, Werder Bremen and VfB Stuttgart in 21 countries.  The draw for the UEFA European Championship 2024 took place on Saturday and the hosts are in a group A which includes Scotland. Whilst England are in group C with amongst others Denmark.  The tournament takes place across 8 stadia across Germany including Dortmund's Signal-Iduna-Park (Westfalenstadion) from the 14 June to July 14th. The twenty-four teams are divided into 8 groups of 4 teams; groups A to F. The qualified teams are: England, Scotland, France, Spain, Italy, Denmark, Albania, Serbia, Romania, Switzerland, hosts Germany, Croatia, Portugal, Czechia, Slovenia, Belgium, Slovenia, Netherlands, Slovakia, and Turkiye. Four teams of the remaining play-offs between the best placed third place finishers i.e Israel, Poland, Luxembourg, Wales, Iceland and Kazakhstan. The playoff will take place in March.     The tournament is the biggest tournament in Germany since FIFA World Cup 2006, this is Germany's second European tournament after 1988 which was won by outsiders Denmark.   The podcast is a group by group preview and a look at Julian Nagelsmann team, and the prospects for the tournament in Germany. I look back at some of the highlights from this year, in an attempt to highlight some of the under-mentioned positives.

Despite the possibility of further success in the final rounds of the UEFA Champions, this season is increasingly looking to be a disappointment. Borussia Dortmund crashed out of the DFB-Pokal months ago and are on the outside looking into the race for the top four. Due to the club’s on-pitch struggles, the mood among Dortmund fans, including those on this site and even us writers, has been pretty sour. I’m even including myself in this.

To raise everyone’s spirits, I thought it would be a good idea to highlight some of the positive moments from this season. While it may not have met our expectations, it wasn’t all bad, and the glimmer of Champions League success remains, however faint. Best of all, there have still been a few moments of awe-inspiring football that are ultimately the reason we all watch and enjoy Borussia Dortmund. It’s the international break, and there isn’t much else to talk about, so without further ado, here are my top five moments so far this season:

#5: BVB Turn it Around Against Gladbach

In this season’s first Battle of the Borussias, it briefly looked like it would be Die Fohlen who would break their trend of struggles at the Westfalenstadion. They jumped to an early two-goal lead, and Dortmund seemed headed for their third straight Bundesliga defeat. Instead, BVB struck twice in as many minutes, including a gorgeous looping first-time chip from Niclas Füllkrug. BVB would convert a go-ahead goal before the end of the half, and end the game with an amazing break-away goal by Donyell Malen in the final minute of stoppage time.

#4: Julian Ryerson Transforms into Gareth Bale

One of my favorite things in sports is when a player who isn’t particularly known for their offense briefly, and seemingly without explanation, transforms into a bulldozer who pushes through anybody who stands in their way. With 10-man Borussia Dortmund leading by a single goal against Hoffenheim in stoppage time, Julian Ryerson collected a loose ball in the defensive third, took off with it, and never really stopped running. He shrugged off a challenge from Ihlas Bebou, sprinted almost the full length of the pitch, dodged another challenge from Florian Grillitsch, barreled in on goal, and sealed the game with a beautiful nutmeg finish. It was one of the most beautiful attacking displays from any BVB player this season, and it came from one of the most unlikely of sources.

#3: Niklas Süle Clears it Off The Line

With the Champions League clinched, this match might not have mattered all that much, but it was still one of the best defensive plays that I can remember from anyone in a BVB shirt, at least since Neven Subotic cleared the line against Arjen Robben in the Champions League Final. Kylian Mbappé, arguably the greatest footballer on earth, had rounded Gregor Kobel and shot it right at the open net, but Niklas Süle somehow not only sprinted to catch up the ball but slid and hoisted his leg up high to knock the ball out of the air and out of harm’s way. All Mbappé could do was raise his arms over his head in disbelief as the Yellow Wall roared behind him.

#2: Twin Golazos Against Werder Bremen

These are technically two separate goals, but they came within around 20 minutes of each other, so I think it makes sense to group them together. Jadon Sancho and Donyell Malen are arguably BVB’s most dynamic attacking talents, and on one afternoon against Werder Bremen, their talents were on full display. First, Donyell Malen converted a stunning bicycle kick that nutmegged Werder Bremen keeper Michael Zetterer. Later in the half, Sancho collected the ball on the wing, faced Werder defender Julian Malatini, and then absolutely dusted him before charging in on goal and ripping a shot near post.

#1: Dortmund Clinch Knockout Rounds Against AC Milan

As Borussia Dortmund prepare to face Atletico Madrid in the Champions League quarterfinal, it’s easy to forget a time when Dortmund seemed to be on the verge of crashing out of the competition in the group stage. Dortmund held a two-point lead over AC Milan, but facing a match day six showdown with Paris Saint-Germain, a loss could have been devastating. Going into the San Siro, against an AC Milan side that was having a solid season in Serie A, BVB put in one of their best performances of the season. It started with Gregor Kobel coming in clutch and saving a penalty attempt by Olivier Giroud. Despite relinquishing a 1-0 lead, BVB clawed back in front thanks to a goal from Jamie-Bynoe Gittens, who had also drawn the penalty that led to BVB’s first goal, and eventually iced it with a goal from Karim Adeyemi. In my opinion, it was BVB’s best performance of the season given the high-pressure situation they were in.

I basically did this off of memory, so it’s perfectly possible that there was some amazing goal, save, or general team performance that I’ve completely forgotten. If so, let me hear it in the comments!

Where do the BVB Stadium Tours start?

The Stadium Tours start from the Foyer West (Mondays – Sundays). Foyer West can be accessed via the Luftbad parking lot (Strobelallee 54, 44139 Dortmund). The stadium walk also starts almost every day (Wednesday closing day) in the Foyer West.

Which group of people receives the reduced admission?

The reduced price applies to students, pupils, unemployed persons, voluntary conscripts, pensioners, severely disabled persons and all minors under the age of 18. The reduced price applies to guests with a severely disabled passes. Accompanying persons for severely disabled persons (GdB 50 or higher) may attend free of charge.

Where can I park?

Free parking spaces are available at the BVB-FanWelt in the Luftbad parking lot. There is no separate parking space for buses. Here you can find our directions. Please note the opening hours shown on site.

Can I come to the Stadium Tour with a pram/rollator?

The Stadium Tours are not barrier-free due to the numerous steps. If you want to take part in a tour with a pram/rollator, there are separate barrier-free tours.

Am I allowed to take pictures?

Photos and videos may be made for private use.

Am I allowed to take animals into the stadium?

Animals are not allowed in the stadium.

Are there stadium tours for international visitors?

We offer public tours in English (see our homepage for dates). Private tours can also be requested in English, Polish, French, Spanish and Japanese.

Tickets for Public Stadium Tours can be purchased in the BVB FanWelt, in the Foyer West or in the online store .

Is there a minimum number of participants for Public Tours?

There is no minimum number of participants for Public Tours. The tours start in any case.

The ticket contingent for public tours is limited to 40 participants.

Can tickets for Public Stadium Tours be exchanged?

Please understand that the tickets are excluded from return and exchange without exception.

Can I buy or bring something to eat on Public Tours?

On Public Tours there is no possibility to eat (brought along) food or to buy food during the tour. You are welcome to buy food and beverages at the Melitta Café in the FanWelt or at the food truck next to the FanWelt in front of the stadium. 

What happens if I am late?

Please understand that it is not possible to bring individual guests to the group if they are late. In this case the ticket loses its validity. When walking around the stadium and looking into SIGNAL IDUNA PARK, you can choose the start and end time freely within your booked time slot.

Additional modules, such as a champagne or beer reception or a snack at the stadium kiosk, can be booked in addition. The minimum calculation basis is also here 15 persons.

EMMA, our official mascot and chairman of the BVB KidsClub, can also take part in a BVB tour. To do so, please first book your desired private stadium tour via the registration form . Borussia Dortmund hat Eintracht Frankfurt mit einer Energieleistung niedergerungen und einen 3:1-Heimsieg eingefahren. Die frühe Führung half den Gästen wenig.

Die Konkurrenz legte vor, Borussia Dortmund zog nach: Das Team von Edin Terzic festigte durch einen 3:1-Sieg gegen Eintracht Frankfurt die Ambitionen auf einen Champions-League-Platz in der Fußball-Bundesliga. Nachdem Mario Götze die Frankfurter Führung gegen seinen Ex-Klub erzielte, drehte der BVB die Partie. Mats Hummels traf zur sehenswerten Vorentscheidung in Stürmermanier per Flugkopfball.

Die Gastgeber aus Dortmund übernahmen vor 81.365 Zuschauern im ausverkauften Stadion schnell das Kommando. Marco Reus (7.) und Ian Maatsen (11.) näherten sich zunächst aus der Distanz dem Frankfurter Tor. Dann folgte aber die kalte Dusche für den BVB: Nachdem sich Nico Schlotterbeck verschätzte, sprintete Omar Marmoush allein auf das Dortmunder Tor zu. Alexander Meyer parierte zwar stark, doch Mario Götze traf im Nachschuss zur Führung der Gäste (13.).

Der BVB schüttelte sich kurz und drängte schnell auf den Ausgleich. Einen Kopfball von Niclas Füllkrug klärte Willian Pacho auf der Linie (18.). Dann war es Karim Adeyemi, der nach Donyell Malens Ablage im Sechzehner richtig stand und zum 1:1-Ausgleich einschob (31.). Bis zur Pause wurde das Spiel fahrig - beide Mannschaften vergaben gute Kontersituationen nach unnötigen Ballverlusten leichtfertig.

Die Hessen kamen mit Elan und Mut aus der Kabine. Dina Ebimbe scheiterte aus spitzem Winkel an Meyer (50.). Die Dortmunder benötigten hingegen einige Anlaufzeit, um wieder ihren Rhythmus zu finden. Es mangelte zu Beginn des zweiten Durchgangs beim Gastgeber an Präzision und Zielstrebigkeit - so fand das Team von Edin Terzić keine Lücken in der kompakten SGE-Defensive. Frankfurt blieb hingegen mit Kontern gefährlich. Marmoush scheiterte aber allein vor dem Tor am stark reagierenden Meyer (68.).

Auf der anderen Seite versuchte es Malen aus der Distanz (71.). Dann sorgte Hummels Auftritt im Stile eines Mittelstürmers für die Dortmunder Führung: Nach einem Freistoß versenkte der Verteidiger die Kugel per Flugkopfball im Kasten (81.). Schließlich stand Emre Can doppelt im Mittelpunkt. Erst sah er nach einer Grätsche die Rote Karte, die aber nach VAR-Eingriff auf Gelb korrigiert wurde - und schließlich verwandelte der BVB-Kapitän einen Foulelfmeter zum 3:1-Endstand (90.+3).

Mislintat-Rückkehr zum BVB nimmt offenbar Konturen an

Der 12. Dezember 2020 war ein schlimmer Tag für Borussia Dortmund und vielleicht war es damals ganz gut, dass der Signal Iduna Park wegen der Corona-Auflagen gähnend leer war. Mit 1:5 wurde der BVB von einem Aufsteiger in seine Einzelteile zerlegt, es war die höchste Heimniederlage der Dortmunder Bundesliga-Geschichte. Keine 24 Stunden später wurde Trainer Lucien Favre entlassen.

Während bei der Borussia etwas zu Ende ging, schien dieser Tag beim damaligen Gegner VfB Stuttgart der Beginn einer großen Entwicklung. Das 5:1 in Dortmund mit einer Mannschaft aus jungen Wilden war ein Glanzlicht und Sven Mislintat auf dem Höhepunkt seiner Popularität in Stuttgart.

Acht Startelf-Spieler hatte Mislintat selbst nach Stuttgart geholt, sie zusammen mit Trainer Pellegrino Matarazzo zu Aufsteigern und einer schlagkräftigen, entwicklungsfähigen Truppe geformt und einige von ihnen dann später für teures Geld wieder verkauft. Unter anderem Gregor Kobel zum BVB .

Sven Mislintat als Sportdirektor beim BVB im Gespräch

Im Zuge der schon bald notwendigen Umstrukturierung der sportlichen Führung rückt der verlorene Sohn nun offenbar verstärkt in den Fokus. Wie zunächst "Sky" berichtete, soll sich der BVB für die Position des Sportdirektors oder eines Technischen Direktors mit Mislintat beschäftigen. Aktuell hat Sebastian Kehl diese Stelle inne, der ehemalige BVB-Kapitän könnte aber schon bald in den Stand des Geschäftsführers Sport aufsteigen.

Nach der laufenden Saison wird Geschäftsführer Hans-Joachim Watzke die sportlichen Geschicke nach und nach ab- und weitergeben an einen dritten Geschäftsführer neben Carsten Cramer (Marketing, Vertrieb, Internationalisierung und Digitalisierung) und Thomas Treß (Finanzen und Organisation). Und eine Ebene darunter ein ausgewiesener Spezialist sich in erster Linie um die Kaderplanung kümmern.

Sebastian Kehl: "Die Frage stellen wir uns schon seit geraumer Zeit"

Diese Anpassung im Dortmunder Organigramm scheint wie gemacht für einen Mann mit Mislintats Fähigkeiten, dessen Expertise und dem überragenden Netzwerk. Zwischen 1998 und 2017 war Mislintat in unterschiedlichen Positionen für den BVB tätig, unter anderem als Chefscout und Direktor Profisport.

Zusammen mit dem damaligen Trainerteam um Jürgen Klopp gilt Mislintat als Entdecker und Einfädler einiger spektakulärer Transfers, die dem BVB erst sportliche Erfolge und später einen dreistelligen Millionenbetrag an Transferüberschüssen einbrachten. Nach einigen Kontroversen mit dem damaligen Cheftrainer Thomas Tuchel hatte Mislintat den BVB dann Richtung FC Arsenal verlassen, später in Stuttgart angeheuert und zuletzt bei Ajax Amsterdam ein vergleichsweise kurzes Intermezzo abgehalten.

"Klubs, die im Herzen sind und wo man geboren ist, wo man gearbeitet hat und auch so eine Wertschätzung erfahren hat, sind immer Arbeitsmöglichkeiten."

"Die Verhältnisse zu Borussia Dortmund sind nicht eingerostet", sagte der gebürtige Dortmunder vor wenigen Wochen in einem Interview mit "Sky" . "Klubs, die im Herzen sind und wo man geboren ist, wo man gearbeitet hat und auch so eine Wertschätzung erfahren hat, sind immer Arbeitsmöglichkeiten. Da muss man nicht drum herumreden."

Geplant nach Informationen des "Kicker" eine Zusammenarbeit noch in der Endphase dieser Saison, damit Mislintat sofort und sehr konkret in die Personalplanungen für die kommende Spielzeit einsteigen und den Kader mitplanen könnte. In den Wochen nach Ostern könnte demnach eine Entscheidung fallen.

Kleiner Strategiewechsel mit Mislintat?

Allerdings war der mittlerweile 51-Jährige zuletzt auch nicht unumstritten. Beim Transfer des kroatischen Nationalspielers Borna Sosa von Stuttgart nach Amsterdam im vergangenen Sommer soll es Unregelmäßigkeiten gegeben haben. Der Deal wurde damals über die Beraterfirma "AKA Global GmbH" abgewickelt, die etwas über drei Prozent der Anteile am Datenanalyse-Unternehmen "Matchmetrics" hält - welche wiederum von Mislintat gegründet wurde und an der er Anteile hat. Mislintat habe seinem damaligen Arbeitgeber die brisante Konstellation aber nicht mitgeteilt.

Ein unlauteres Dreiecksgeschäft stand deshalb im Raum, eine Untersuchung hat den Verdacht der Vorteilsnahme oder ein Fehlverhalten Mislintats bis heute allerdings nicht erhärtet.

Nun könnte sich Mislintat schon bald wieder in der Heimat daran machen, den nächsten Shinji Kagawa, Ousmane Dembele oder Jadon Sancho zum BVB zu lotsen. Nach drei Transferphasen mit dem Schwerpunkt auf erfahrene, deutsche Nationalspieler könnte dann wieder Mislintats internationales Netzwerk wichtiger werden - und damit auch ein kleiner Paradigmenwechsel beim BVB Einzug halten.

Am Samstagabend waren Marcel Sabitzer und Niclas Füllkrug mit ihren Nationalteams erfolgreich. Beide Mannschaften sind mit einem Sieg in das EM-Jahr gestartet.

Marcel Sabitzer führte die österreichische Nationalmannschaft gegen die Slowakei als Kapitän auf den Platz. Bereits nach wenigen Sekunden brachte der Leipziger Christoph Baumgartner Österreich in Führung. Der eingewechselte Andreas Weimann (West Bromwich Albion) sorgte in der 82. Spielminute für den 2:0-Endstand. Sabitzer stand die vollen 90 Minuten auf dem Platz.

Am Dienstag empfängt Österreich die Türkei mit Salih Özcan. Anstoß ist um 20:45 Uhr. 

Auch die deutsche Nationalelf legte einen Blitzstart gegen Frankreich hin. Acht Sekunden waren gespielt, als Florian Wirtz von Bayer Leverkusen den Ball aus zwanzig Metern unter die Latte ins Tor setzte. Die Elf von Trainer Julian Nagelsmann zeigte gegen den Vize-Weltmeister von 2022 eine ordentliche Leistung und belohnte sich in Spielminute 49 mit dem Treffer zum 2:0. Torschütze war Kai Havertz (FC Arsenal). Beide Mannschaften wechselten in der Folge ordentlich. Niclas Füllkrug kam in der 80. Spielminute für Jamal Musiala (FC Bayern) in die Partie und sorgte mit dafür, dass es Ende auch beim 2:0-Erfolg blieb.

Für Deutschland geht es am kommenden Dienstag (20:45 Uhr) mit dem Testspiel gegen die Niederlande und Donyell Malen weiter.
