There’s food service on board as well as a bar. The tour was very well narrated in both French and English. Friendly staff and the price was very reasonable. At first it threatened to rain but then the sun came out just in time for an enjoyable cruise with friends. The tour guide is in costume & spoke in both English & French. He gave lots of historical information on the Quebec province & its role in historical events. Look up the maple syrup heist on Netflix. We covered a lot of background while walking through the central part of Old Quebec. The pace was good and she was a delight to listen to through the tour. Plenty of room on the boat inside or out. Bar, snacks, gift shop. Bathroom was clean, getting on/off was a breeze. They were on time. It was worth it and relaxing after walking miles everyday. The boat was not packed, the staff was very friendly - especially the tour guide. He was very informative and engaging. He also welcomed questions and interacted well with the listeners. This was our third tour (two others were walking) yet he still gave us much more than basic info so we were learning different things. All in all a great was to see the city and surrounding area. Tables crowded indoors, but the table next to us was broken so gave us extra room. Got a small glass of Diet Coke for over $7. Not an inexpensive cruise, but obviously wanted to make more money. Strangely though, witnessed another customer trying to make a gift shop purchase as we were leaving through the gift and she was told they were closed. The views are fantastic and the architecture and roads make me think of Europe. I didn't know in advance how steep that area is. Be prepared to climb many steps and go up and down hills. Montreal was also worthwhile but very different from Quebec City. Montreal is like any big city with a subway, college campuses, stores, and restaurants. However, it also has Mount Royal which you can get to by climbing a ton of stairs and at the top see a view of the city. We loved our trip to these two cities. Read more Written September 6, 2023

Grab a drink and take in the scenery as you cruise by the castle-like Château Frontenac Hotel, an emblem of the city, and the centuries-old ramparts of the fortified La Citadelle.
