Sat-Monday: Madrid, Sunday day trip to Toledo

Monday- Saturday:Leave for San Sebastian. Stop at Bilbao on our way.

- what is the best way? Car , bus, flight ?

- day trip to Biarritz on Thursday and return to SS

- Need plan for Wednesday and Friday. THANKS!

The best way to get to Donostia-San Sebastian depends on your preferences, all the options are good. Biarritz may be disappointing, I would rather visit Bayonne and St Jean de Luz instead. Bilbao deserves a minimum of one night, much more to see and do than in D-SS (the Guggenheim is just part of the visit, at least the old quarter too). Bermeo, Gernika and the Assembly House, Getaria, Hondarribia, Pasai Donibane...

If you take the Euskotren from San Sebastián to Hendaye you can then get onto the French SNCF network and easily visit Saint Jean de Luz, Guethary, Biarritz or Bayonne.
