We at the Globus family of brands are deeply saddened by the tragic events in Brussels today. While there were Cosmos travellers in the city at the time of the incident, we can confirm that all customers are safe and secure and departed Brussels today as scheduled. We are working closely with our representatives in the city to ensure the safety and well-being of future travellers, and therefore guests on any of our brands scheduled to travel within the next month (through April 22, 2016) on any cruise or tour that includes Brussels may rebook to any future 2016 departure date, or 2017 if their 2016 itinerary is not available. As part of the brands’ digital transformation, global escorted tour company, Globus family of brands (GFOB) has unveiled its newly redesigned travel agent portal. The portal has been created to make booking customers on a Globus, Cosmos, Monograms or Avalon Waterways holiday, easier than ever.

Developed by agents for agents, the portal includes everything frontline sellers will need to book their customers tours, cruises and independent packages, set up as an easy-to-use, agent-friendly experience. The portal includes features to make and manage all stages of the bookings process, plus access to marketing materials including the latest brochures and incentives.

Agents that are registered to the portal can also track their personal learning and development progress, access their passport-to-rewards balance and be the first in the know for company news and deals.

The portal is live now and agents can register here: agentportal.globusfamily.com.au .

Agents must register for the new portal by 16 December, as the old portal will be decommissioned.

Cosmos Hotel in Moscow - Live Close To The Stars

Ostankino is famous for Moscow TV-tower, botanical garden, the Cosmonautics Museum and the All-Russia Exhibition of Achievements of the People's Economy just in front of the hotel. Exhibition of Achievements of the People's Economy is a quite impressive architectural ensemble,  definitely worth seeing even if you are not into architecture at all.

The comfortable standard rooms start at €50 for single and €90 for twin or double.  Meanwhile, the “suite” rooms start at €120 for single and €200 for double. Rates include a buffet breakfast).

Cosmos hotel provides a variety of services and facilities including laundry, travel and business services. The hotel is also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, among which "Kalinka" is the most famous one.

There are eight types of rooms in the Cosmos hotel which are all equipped with fridges, alcoholic or non-alcoholic mini-bars, telephones with bathroom extension, TV with international and Russian satellite channels and Internet access facility, an indoor pool and a Jacuzzi.

Suite rooms are equipped with non-touch door locks, hair-dryers in the bathrooms and nicely furnished in European traditions. Breakfast for the Cosmos Club guests is served on the 25th floor in the Planet Cosmos restaurant with a panoramic view of Moscow from a 99-meter height. The nearest metro station to the hotel is VDNKh (you have just to cross the road). And it will take you about 15 minutes to get to the very center of the city.

Moreover, there is some adventurous aftertaste in saying, "I've been living in cosmos !" ("cosmos" is the Russian term for "outer space").
