`गेम ऑफ थ्रोन्स’ देखने से भी काफी पहले डुब्रोवनिक घूमने मैं गई थी। इस सिरीज़ का फिल्मांकन यहीं पर हुआ है।

अपने सामने फैले अथाह महासागर के पानी को संगमरमर की सीढियों पर बैठी निहार रही थी और तभी समुद्र गाने लगा! मैं मजाक नहीं कर रही हूँ, सचमुच वह गा रहा था! धूप में नहाते हुए, लहरों ने संगमरमर की सीढ़ियों को अपने आगोश में लिया और मैंने ये संगीत सुना। क्रोएशिया की यह मेरी पहली यात्रा थी और मैंनेे पूरा देश सड़क मार्ग से घूमने का फैसला किया था और मैं अभी ज़दर शहर पहुंची ही थी। मैंनेे अपनी कार पार्क की और ज़दर सी ऑर्गन की तरफ बढ़ी। ये एक असाधारण स्थापत्यकला का नमूना है और क्रोएशिया के रमणीय एड्रियाटिक तट में स्थित यह एक अनोखा संगीत वाद्य है।ज़दर रिवा की सैरगाह के पश्चिमी सिरे पर स्थित सी ऑर्गन विशाल संगमरमर की सीढ़ियों की एक पूरी श्रृंखला है जो एड्रियाटिक सागर में उतरती जाती है। इन सीढ़ियों के नीचे छिपी हैं नलियाँ और चैंबर्स जो छोटे द्वारों की श्रृंखला द्वारा सतह के साथ जुड़ी है। जैसे ही लहरें तट से टकराती हैं, समुद्र का पानी इन्हीं द्वारों से होकर गुजरता है और चैंबर्स में जाता है, जहाँ पर यह हार्मोनियम जैसी आवाज़ और ध्वनियाँ उत्पन्न करता है। इसका परिणाम ये होता है कि प्रकृति एक मनमोहक धुन गुनगुनाती है जिसका माध्यम बनता है सी ऑर्गन जिससे सुंदर संगीत की उत्पत्ति होती है। ये धुन तथा तानें नित बदलती रहती है। यह निर्भर करता है लहरों की तीव्रता और लय पर। पर्यटकोफ्ल को यह विविधतापूर्ण और मनमोहक ध्वनियों का अनुभव देनेवाला करिश्‍मा, आर्किटेक्ट निकोला बेसिक द्वारा रचा गया है। उन सीढ़ियों पर बैठ कर मैंनेे उनका आभार व्यक्त किया और उनकी कल्पनाशीलता की भूरि भूरि प्रशंसा की जो बहुत ही सटीकता से कला, स्थापत्य, और प्रकृति का समन्वय करती है ताकि यहाँ आनेवालों को एक अविस्मरणीय सुर और तान का संवेदनशील अनुभव प्राप्त हो। सी ऑर्गन महज एक संगीतमय आकर्षण से भी कहीं बढ़कर है; यह ज़दर का समुद्र और उसकी सामुद्रिक धरोहर के साथ गहरे रिश्‍ते का प्रतीक भी है। ज़दर में आनेवाले लोग हर समय सी ऑर्गन की मोहक ध्वनियों का आनंद ले सकते हैं, लेकिन सूर्यास्त के समय इसका अनुभव अद्भुत होता है, जब आसमान पर केसरी और गुलाबी छटा चित्रित होती है, और साथ ही समुद्री संगीत प्रकृति के इस विलक्षण नजारे के लिए आदर्श पृष्ठभूमि प्रदान करता है!मैं अक्सर काम के सिलसिले में यात्रा करती हूँ, हमेशा नए और अनोखे स्थान तथा यादगार अनुभवों की तलाश किया करती हूँ। यही खोजें वीणा वर्ल्ड में हमारे द्वारा पेश किए जानेवाले टूर्स और हॉलिडेज़ का हिस्सा बन जाती है, और सुनिश्चित करती हैं कि हमारे सभी मेहमानों को एक समान समृद्ध अनुभव का आनंद मिले। क्रोएशिया में मेरी हाल की यात्रा भी इसमें अपवाद नहीं थी, क्योंकि मैंनेे इस यात्रा में इतिहास, प्राकृतिक सौंदर्य, और अप्रत्याशित व्यंजनों के पड़ावों का अनुभव लिया।मैंनेे स्थापत्यकला और भग्नावशेषों की सराहना करते हुए अपना शेष समय ज़दर में ही बिताया। इस प्राचीन रोमन नगरी को “जादेरा” के रूप में जाना जाता रहा है, जो अब एड्रियाटिक का एक महत्वपूर्ण व्यापारिक केंद्र है। रोमान साम्राज्य के बचे खंडहर अब भी अत्यंत सुरक्षित रूप से शहर की दीवारों से घेर कर बचा कर रखे गए है। बाद में, ज़दर 15वीं शताब्दी में वेनेशियन साम्राज्य के अधीन हो गया था, जिसने उसके स्थापत्यकला और सांस्कृतिक विरासत में अनुपम योगदान दिया। ज़दर से, मैंनेे प्लिटवीस लेक्स नेशनल पार्क का सफर किया जो युनेस्को की वैश्विक धरोहर में शुमार है और जिसे उसके लहराकर गिरते झरनों तथा एमराल्ड ग्रीन लेक्स के लिए जाना जाता है। मैंनेे प्लिटवीस नेशनल पार्क की सुंदरता के बारे में खूब सुन रखा था लेकिन यह कितना सुंदर है, यह मुझे पता नहीं था! झरनों से जुड़ी 16 सीढ़ीनुमा झीलों की श्रृंखला की ज़रा आप कल्पना तो कीजिए, जो 295 वर्ग कि.मी. में फैले वन क्षेत्र के लाइमस्टोन (चूना पत्थर) की घाटियों में बसा है और यही प्लिटवीस नेशनल पार्क है! पार्क में लकड़ी के पथ पर चलते हुए, मैं इस प्राकृतिक स्वर्ग की विशुद्ध सुंदरता को चकित होकर निहारती जा रही थी जहाँ हर कोना एक नए आयाम को उजागर कर रहा था और जो पिछले से भी कहीं अधिक लोमहर्षक लग रहा था। पानी के चारों तरफ और किनारों पर बने पैदल मार्ग और हाइकिंग पगडंडियाँ और एक इलेक्ट्रिक बोट 12 ऊपरी तथा 4 निचली झीलों को जोडती है। 4 निचली झीलें वेलिकी स्लैप कही जाती हैं, जो 78 मीटर ऊँचा झरना है। मेरे मन में एक मलाल रह गया कि मैं पहले यहाँ क्यों नहीं आई और मैंनेे प्लिटवीस में लंबा समय क्यों नहीं बिताया। लेकिन आप एक ही जीवन में सबकुछ पा भी तो नहीं सकते?कुछ नया और अनोखा देखने की चाहत ने मेरे मन में क्रोएशिया घूमने की इच्छा को जगाया, जिसकी अपनी अलग पहचान है। क्रोएशिया भारतीय पर्यटकों में इतना लोकप्रिय न होकर भी अपनी यात्रा के दौरान मैं तो इसकी सुंदरता में खिंची चली गई। लंबे समय बाद मुझे ऐसा देश मिला जिसने घूमने की मेरी इच्छा को तृप्त किया। मैंनेे राजधानी के शहर डुब्रोवनिक से शुरुआत की, और मुझे याद है जब मैंने किराए पर कार ली थी तब मैं थोडी चिंतित हुई थी क्योंकि ये एक लेफ्ट हैंड ड्राइव कार थी। लेकिन, मैं जल्द ही उन सडकों पर वाहन चलाने की अभ्यस्त हो गई और मैंनेे साहसिक पलों का आनंद भी लिया, भले ही यह अनचाहे ही क्यों न हुआ हो। एक बार मैंनेे गूगल मैप्स का सहारा लिया था और मैंने खुद को एक ऐसी गली के अंत में खड़ा पाया जहाँ से आगे कोई रास्ता ही नहीं था, मेरे ध्यान में आया कि यह एक फेरी क्रॉसिंग था। मैंनेे अपनी कार के साथ फेरी की यात्रा की, जिससे काफी वक्त बचा। क्रोएशिया में पानी एक उल्लेखनीय भूमिका निभाता है, और पानी की स्वच्छता क्रोएशियाई लोगों को सार्वजनिक स्थानों पर जहाँ चाहे तैरने की अनुमति देती है। हमने अपनी कार रोककर एक सार्वजनिक बीच पर तैराकी भी की, और उस स्वतंत्रता को महसूस किया जो क्रोएशिया के सुरम्य तटीय मार्ग पर मिलती है।क्रोएशिया की राजधानी डुब्रोवनिक को `पर्ल ऑफ द एयािटिक’ के रूप में भी जाना जाता है। मध्ययुगीन दीवारों से घिरी और एड्रियाटिक सागर के चमचमाते पानी को निहारती हुई डुब्रोवनिक समयातीत मोहकता की छटा प्रस्तुत करती है। पुराने नगर की भूलभुलैया जैसी गलियों में घूमते हुए मैंनेे खुद को राजाओं और व्यापारियों के युग में पाया। फोर्ट लोवरिजेनाक की विशाल दीवारों से लेकर सेंट ब्लेज़ चर्च की सुंदरता तक, डुब्रोनविक का हर कोना अपने बीते जमाने की कहानी कहता है। एचबीओ सिरीज़ `गेम ऑफ थ्रोन्स’ देखने से भी काफी पहले डुब्रोवनिक घूमने मैं गई थी। इस सिरीज़ का फिल्मांकन यहीं पर हुआ है। अपनी क्रोएशिया की यात्रा को जारी रखते हुए मैं आगे स्प्लिट की ऐतिहासिक नगरी में गई जहाँ प्राचीन खंडहरों का मिलन हुआ है आधुनिक जीवन से। 4थी सदी में रोमन साम्राज्य द्वारा निर्मित डायोक्लेशियन्स पैलेस के गलियारों से गुजरते समय मैंनेे शताब्दियों पूर्व की प्रतिध्वनियों को सुना है। पास ही स्थित है ह्वार आयलैंड और उसके धूप में भीगे तट और सुंदर वीनयार्ड्स, जो क्रोएशिया की समृद्ध समुद्री विरासत की झलक देते हैं।क्रोएशिया में अपनी यात्रा के दौरान, मैं देश के समृद्ध इतिहास और सांस्कृतिक विरासत को देखकर चकित थी जिसने पडोसी सभ्यताओं से प्रभावित होकर सदियों में अपना आकार ग्रहण किया था। ज़दर के वेनेशियन स्थापत्य कला से लेकर स्प्लिट में महान व्यापारी नाविक मार्को पोलो तक, क्रोएशिया का इतिहास उसके वर्तमान के तानेबाने में बुना हुआ है। क्रोएशिया की सबसे पुरानी आइस क्रीम पार्लर स्लासटीकारना डोनाट में जैलेटो को स्कूप में भरकर उसका स्वाद लेते हुए मैंनेे इस रोमांचकारी धरती की मोहकता को महसूस किया।अंत में, क्रोएशिया का मेरा सफर केवल एक सफर नहीं था, बल्कि यह मेरे लिए एक रूपांतरकारी अनुभव रहा जिसने कई तरह से मेरा मन मोह लिया। इस खूबसूरत देश को अलविदा करते समय, मैं जानती थी कि इसकी यादें सदा के लिए मेरे दिल में बसी रहेगी-जदर से लेकर प्लिटवीस तक और वहाँ से लेकर डुब्रोवनिक तक, हर स्थल खास और हर स्थल अनूठा था अपने अपने अंदाज़ में!
