Genting Highland prides itself as a "mini" Las Vegas and also as an entertainment destination. While being the only legal gambling spot in Malaysia, it is also well-known for the many attractions that it offers for children and family. There are more than 6 Genting Highlands hotel and visitors get to choose from an option of over 10,000 rooms. Other attractions include shows, entertainment venues, 170 dining and shopping locations and over 50 fun rides for children.

Even the weather is generally pleasant owing to the high altitude positioning of Genting Highlands. Temperature fluctuates between 15 to 25 degree Celsius, with the lowest ever recorded temperature being 10 degree Celsius. Of the 19.2 million visitors who come here every year, quite a few of them come specially for the weather.

In fact. there are frequent coach to Genting Highlands from different cities in Malaysia. getting around Genting Highlands is also quite easy as all the spots and venues are connected through escalators, link-ways, and tunnels. 2D1N Genting Highland Tour Package

For decades, Genting Highlands remains one of Malaysia’s most popular destinations. Situated just 50 kilometers away from the capital city, Kuala Lumpur, this Highland city-cum-resort makes for a convenient getaway – perfect for those city-dwellers who would like to get away from it all yet do not wish to travel very far for that purpose. Genting Highlands offers plenty of things to do, with its signature attractions being a world-class casino and a massive outdoor theme park. An 18-hole golf course and a horse ranch are also available here, as well as various nightspots promising an exciting nightlife in the form of international performances and Vegas-style entertainment. Surrounded by lush, tropical jungle permanently blanketed in a mist of cold air, there are also plenty of scenic hiking trails up here for those who wish to get off the commercial grounds and get back in touch with nature. DAY 1: GENTING HIGHLANDS ENROUTE BATU CAVES Meet and Greet at KL Airport, or pick up from KL City hotel and proceed to Genting Highlands with en route Batu Caves. A limestone outcrop located just north of Kuala Lumpur, Batu Caves has three main caves featuring temples and Hindu shrines. It's main attraction is the large statue of the Hindu God at the entrance, besides a steep 272 climb its steps to view finally the stunning skyline of the city centre. Monkeys frolic around the cave, and it is a popular spot for rock climbing enthusiasts. Paintings and scenes of Hindu Gods can also be seen in the Ramayana Cave. Upon arrival at Genting, you may ride the Genting Cable Car.Genting, or also known as Resorts World Genting has an outdoor and an indoor theme park that offer tourists to enjoy fun-filled moments in the City of Entertainment. You may enjoy Genting SnowWorld as well. After that, transfer to hotel for check in and Free program. Overnight in Genting Highland. KUANTAN: Four men, all locals, were detained in connection with a scuffle involving two groups at a casino in Genting Highlands on Saturday (April 6).

Bentong OCPD Supt Zaiham Mohd Kahar said police received information about the clash that involved about 10 men, aged between from 23 to 50 years old, at about 4am Sunday (April 7).

"Investigations revealed that the fight had started due to a misunderstanding between both groups inside the casino.

"The four suspects will be remanded for two days to assist investigations and the case is being investigated under Section 147 of the Penal Code,” he said in a statement.

He added that all four suspects detained were sent to the Bentong Hospital for treatment since they had suffered injuries in the fight.

Zaiham added that police were still tracking down the remainder of those involved in the fight after viewing footage of the incident on CCTV recordings at the location. - Bernama
