The Weasel is ready for his own Hollywood comeback.

This year’s Oscars was marked by being the year of the comeback . Brendan Fraser won the lead actor category for his role in “The Whale” after years away from the spotlight. And Ke Huy Quan , who was a child star, returned to Hollywood after a 20-year hiatus, winning the Oscar for his supporting role in “Everything Everywhere All at Once.”

The two acted alongside each other in the 1992 comedy “Encino Man,” and Jimmy Kimmel pointed out that fun Hollywood fact in his opening monologue at the 95th Academy Awards on Sunday night.

“Two actors from ‘Encino Man’ are nominated for Oscars,” Kimmel said. “What an incredible night this must be for the two of you, and what a difficult night it must be for Pauly Shore.”

Well, Pauly Shore, who also starred in “Encino Man,” was watching — the stand-up comedian had been publicly rooting for his old co-stars in the week leading up to the big event — and he had a few things to say about being the butt of an Oscars joke.

“We love to hate people when they’re on top. People wanted to smash me down and they did,” Shore, 55, told Page Six . “I was always nice to everyone, always cool, I put my heart into all my films.

“You’re buying and selling a human being,” he added of working in the entertainment industry. “Human beings have feelings, it’s not like selling real estate.”

Before the ceremony, Shore posted old shots of Fraser and Quan on Instagram with encouraging captions, “So very proud of Brendan Fraser and @KeHuyQuan Truly truly happy. Must be an amazing feeling to be knighted with @TheAcademy pixie dust. I’ll be rooting for both of you guys big time. Your old buddy, Stoney Brown from Encino Man, Pauly Shore,” he wrote . “Love you both, and knock ‘em dead this Sunday night.”

The ’90s comedy star best known for “Jury Duty,” “Bio-Dome” and, of course, “Encino Man,” told Page Six that he was happy for his old buddies. But he also opened up about how sitting on the sidelines can be bittersweet.

“I do truly miss acting and I miss being on set … hopefully it happens. … [I]t’s about just dreaming and hoping,” he said. “People are always like, ‘We want you back!’”

Shore is hoping for his chance to surprise audiences with something they haven’t seen from him. And waiting for the call that will allow him to do so.

“The directors and producers are the ones with the vision. Someone out there will say, ‘You know what, we’re going to do something you wouldn’t expect — we’ll put Pauly in this role that no one would expect,’” Shore said. “That’s where my heart is.

“I am not going to stop,” he continued. “I’m going to keep going. I know I’m going to get that call, and get that opportunity. That’s what’s it about.”

On Monday, Shore posted a video clip of Kimmel’s monolgue on Instagram with the caption , “I don’t know if you guys saw the Oscars last night, but @jimmykimmel poked fun at me in the monologue. If you haven’t checked it out, watch this clip. Very funny — I really loved it. But what I REALLY loved is that my old buddies from back in the day, Brendan Fraser and @KeHuyQuan, took home the Oscars. What a story. I mean really guys, what a f— story.

“If we can all learn something from this, never quit on your dreams. Keep dreaming, work hard, and put in the time, and if your stars line up and you’re in the entertainment business, one day Hollywood will hit you in the head with the pixie dust like it did for Brendan and Ke.”

Pauly Shore tasted super-stardom in 1990 when his precedent-setting MTV show Totally Pauly , hit the airwaves to major fan approval. The show ran for six years, leading him to star in numerous television and film roles including the one-hour HBO television special, Pauly Does Dallas , and starring in the films Encino Man , Son In Law , Jury Duty , In the Army Now , and Bio Dome . Since then, Pauly went on to star and produce in his own projects including Pauly Shore is Dead for 20th Century Fox, as well as Vegas is My Oyster , and Pauly-Tics both available on Crackle. Pauly is currently producing a six-part documentary series based off of his original documentary Pauly Shore Stands Alone . Additionally, Pauly recently debuted the video portion of his podcast Pauly Shore Podcast Show , on Crackle featuring guests like Judd Apatow (movie director), Irving Azoff (manager of The Eagles), and Ziggy Marley (reggae superstar). Pauly remains hard at work on a historical documentary of his life spanning the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s about his life growing up at The Comedy Store in West Hollywood. He recently played Stephen Miller in a viral Funny or Die video and stars in an original Funny or Die sketch with Bobby Lee, Jay Mohr and Richard Schiff. DJ Pauly D (bron July 5, 1980) is the public name of American television personality and DJ Paul DelVecchio from Providence, Rhode Island, U.S.

Paul DelVecchio was born and raised in Providence, Rhode Island, attended the local Johnston High School and began his musical endeavours DJing around the local area under the stage name Pauly D. Influences of DelVecchio’s early material are said to belong to the much revered DJ AM.

In 2009 the DJ was cast in the MTV show “Jersey Shore”, completely unrelated to his music, Delvecchio was chosen for his look after being filmed for a day going to the gym and getting a spray tan. It wasn’t long before the personality developed a large, budding and eager fan base exemplified in 2011 and 2012 by winning the Teen Choice Award for Choice Reality Star: Male.

In 2010 Delvecchio released “Beat Dat Beat (It’s Time To)” which helped the DJ be nominated for America’s Best DJ competition in both 2010 and 2011. In 2011, the DJ revealed he had singed a three year deal with 50 Cent’s labels G-Unit Records and G-Note Records. The same year Delvecchio was an opening for Britney Spears on her Femme Fatale Tour with a handful of North American dates.

In July 2012 the DJ hit the studio to record his debut album with the help of Big Sean, in anticipation Delvecchio released the single “Night of My Life” featuring Dash. A year later In 2013 this time featuring the British singer Jay Sean, Pauly D released the single “Back to Love” which was Delvecchio’s first single to chart, reaching No. 113 in the UK singles chart.

Who knew that Paul Delvecchio also known as Pauly D could create such a buzz around his music? I certainly didn’t on my journey to this DJ’s gig tonight. I was so blown away by the support that this DJ has for this music. He is definitely a hard working entertainer. The bars that line the venue start to fill up with people hitting the bars hard drinking jagerbombs and double vodka with red bulls. It is a crazy party atmosphere. The room starts to get to that point that people barely have space to dance but they’re going to give it all they’ve got when they begin. Did you know that this guy was even nominated for the “America’s Best DJ” competition in 2010 and 2011. He has signed a three-album deal with 50 Cent’s labels, G-Unit and G-Note Records. He even has his own headphones under the label. This crowd goes absolutely mental when he launches into “Beat Dat Beat (It’s Time To)” with drinks flying left right and centre and Pauly is the one leading the processions completely encouraging the audience to do so! It is when Pauly D performs the song “Back to Love” which features the British sings Jay Sean that the roof has been blown off this 1000 cap venue.

Paul DelVecchio is perhaps best known as a housemate on the prolific Jersey Shore House. A show notorious for partying and controversy, Paul now makes his way as a DJ bringing a little slice of the shore to hundreds of revellers at a time.

In a relatively short amount of time he has released two studio albums so he appears confident behind the decks with his own tracks blending into some of the biggest dance anthems of the modern day. He also has some real skill as a mixing artist which many do not realise as they don't usually imagine reality TV show contestants to have any skill at all. He has also remixed the likes of Beyonce and Usher and these go down a treat with the crowds who are totally up for the Jersey party. It is a great show from an unexpected performer who knows a huge deal about dance music and partying to create a winning formula.

Huge fan, drove from Toronto to Ottawa to see Pauly's show! His set was a great mix of massive beats, reggae, hip hop and latin tracks. Everyone was dancing and screaming and losing their minds! Although a small crowd, it made it an intimate experience, Pauly D was just a few feet away on stage so it was a thrill to be close to the DJ and for that DJ to be Pauly D was surreal! He interacted with the crowd as well and threw out a few "Yeaaaaaaaaaahhh buddy!"s into the crowd. Amazing night!

I have never seen him in person ,but wish I could ...he is so hot!! Wish he would do closer .I'm in n.c. moved here from PA .born in Jersey!!
