Intro: My Favorite Sesame Street Moments: Joshua Bell
The first song that Joshua learned to play on the violin was the Sesame Street Theme. Following a clip of The Tokyo String Quartet. (cut from the DVD version) (cut from the YouTube version)
SCENES : Rocco is a pet that Zoe thinks he is the best pet in the whole world. She sings also the song "He’s the Best Pet". Telly arrives and he likes the song very much. As Zoe tells that Rocco is singing, Telly rushes off to get his own pet.
Telly has a new pet now, a hamster. Her name is Chuckie Sue. Telly thinks that she is the best pet, athletic, funny, and can count to 20. But Zoe doesn’t believe that. She thinks that a hamster can not count. Zoe says that Rocco and Chuckie Sue were singing in their head.
Telly and Zoe are disgusting whether a rock has a head. Elmo says hi to Chuckie Sye than to Rocco. As Elmo learns about Zoe’s and Telly’s argument about their pets, he brings his own pet, Dorothy. For Elmo, Dorothy is the best pet. She can swim, breathe underwater, and imagine Elmo as any animal.
Zoe claims that Rocco can imagine too and she tells Rocco to imagine all of them in a spaceship. But unfortunately, no one can see Rocco’s imaginations except Zoe. They pretend that is not good to argue, it can upset their pets and they decide to stop. But Telly says he can stop if they accept that Chuckie Sue is the best pet.
As the argument continues, Baby Bear is coming in. He wants everyone’s attention. As he learns why they three arguing, he brings his own pet parrot, Ralphie. For Baby Bear, Ralphie is the best pet. He can make other animal noises.
Their argument is never-ending because they are feeling defensive towards their pets' honor. Maria is coming in and she says for every person is the best pet his own pet. At this moment they notice that the pets are saying hello to each other. So they decide to set a play date for their pets. The scene ends with the song "They’re the Best Pets".

Okay, let’s talk about the incident.
Muppetology 101: Intro to Sesame Segments, Part 3
Michael Wermuth – Here, finally, is the third and final installment of my Sesame Street recurring series lectures.
The Spanish Word of the Day – debuted season 33 The only daily segment from season 33 to not feature the same character in each segment, The Spanish Word of the Day has characters telling us what the Spanish word is, and showing us the English equivalent. Common hosts include Rosita, Maria, Gabbi, and Professor Grover.
Journey to Ernie – debuted season 33 Journey to Ernie involves Big Bird looking for Ernie in a computer-animated world. For its first season, Ernie would hide in a box, which there would be multiples of, and Big Bird had to find the right box, in such locations as a circus, the stone age, and a disco. If Ernie wasn’t in the box, a film or animation insert would be shown, and if he was in that box, it would lead to an Ernie segment. A year after the segments debut, it was retooled considerably. Finding Ernie still led to an Ernie segment, but now the whole game was featured uninterrupted by other segments. Ernie no longer hid in a box, there’d be a daily cameo by the Two-Headed Monster (unable to provide Big Bird with a helpful answer on which way to go to find Ernie), and each segment would end with a special song sung by Big Bird and Ernie. Matt Vogel performed Big Bird in all of these sketches.
Global Grover – debuted season 34 Global Grover involves Grover traveling around the world and showing us what various countries are like. Grover has traveled to such places as Alaska, Australia, France, and Mexico. Some locations were visited multiple times, and many segments include an existing film segment in the middle.
The Adventures of Trash Gordon – debuted season 35 Each segment had Oscar reading a chapter (each of a very high number, and never in order) of The Adventures of Trash Gordon to Slimey before bed. The stories starred Gordon in the role of Trash Gordon, a hero who has traveled to such planets as Planet Surprise and Planet Spaghetti, and after finishing a mission, would end his adventures by announcing the shows sponsors.
What’s the Word on the Street?/Word of the Day – debuted season 38 What’s the Word on the Street? Is hosted by Murray Monster and serves as a cold open to the show, in which he asks what the word on the street is, and real people provide the answer and tell Murray what it means. The word on the street always has something to do with the street story, which is then followed by a “Word of the Day” explanation by a celebrity guest, ranging from Mila Kunis to Neil Patrick Harris to Robin Williams.
Bert and Ernie’s Great Adventures – debuted season 39 A claymation series featuring Bert and Ernie has everyone’s favorite duo going on a number of imaginative adventures. The two have appeared as detectives, wizards, cavemen, pirates, and Muskateers (actually, Duckieteers).
Murray Has a Little Lamb – debuted season 39 In these segments, Murray is joined by his Spanish-speaking pet lamb, Ovejita, who takes Murray to a different school in each installment. Originally, the segments began with a guessing game portion in which Murray has to guess from clues what kind of school they’re visiting, and then they spend some time at that school. In season 40, the guessing game portion was dropped (and the beginning to existing segments were replaced with new footage). In season 44, segments (including existing ones) were shown in multiple parts throughout the show.
Abby’s Flying Fairy School – debuted season 40 Abby’s Flying Fairy School is a computer-animated segment in which Abby Cadabby attends fairy school with her friends Gonnigan and Blogg, the school hamster Nibblet, and their teacher Mrs. Sparklenose. The students go on a number of challenges, many of which involve classic fairy tales, such as “The Cinderella Challenge” and “The Pinocchio Challenge”.
Super Grover 2.0 – debuted season 41 Super Grover 2.0 stars an upgraded Super Grover, as he has more superhero gear. Like the classic segments, he often solves problems for others and does ridiculous things to help but is oblivious when they figure it out on their own (thinking he’s responsible), though unlike in the classic segments, the characters he helps seem to see him as a true hero (as opposed to them not showing much excitement when Super Grover shows up to save the day). Super Grover 2.0 has attempted to help penguins move an ice block out of the way, a bird get his piano into his nest, a mouse waiter get a wedge of cheese past a closed door, and a cactus find a ball to play with without popping it.
Elmo the Musical – debuted season 43 Replacing the long-running Elmo’s World, Elmo the Musical stars Elmo in a number of musicals, joined by a talking curtain named Velvet. Musicals include Nacho the Musical, President the Musical, Pizza the Musical, and Athlete the Musical.
Cookie’s Crumby Pictures – debuted season 44 Cookie’s Crumby Pictures is a series of movie parodies starring Cookie Monster. More accurately, they appear in the form of movie trailers. Perhaps to make up for not actually starring in (most of) the Monsterpiece Theater segments, Cookie Monster takes on roles in such films as “Star S’mores”, “The Wizard of Cookies”, “Twillight: Breaking Cookie”, “The Biscotti Kid”, and “The Hungry Games”.

Well-known member.
There have been a lot of Elmo's World videos, but does anybody think it might be a good idea to release Journey to Ernie videos? Perhaps a few volumes. Maybe ther ecould be two volumes in the original format, featuring a heavy dose of classic clips, and other volumes could include three Journey to Ernie skits of the current format, with three classic Ernie skits and a few additional skits as well. Here is my idea for some volumes: Vol. 1: (original format) Big Bird looks for Ernie at a grocery store A quart of milk, a loaf of bread, and a stick of butter Big Bird looks for Ernie at a disco Me Lost Me Cookie at the Disco Disco D ABC Disco Big Bird looks for Ernie in space Ernie thinks Bert was kidnapped by Martians Vol. 2: (original format) Big Bird asks chickens if they've seen Ernie The Chicken or the Egg I Am Chicken Big Bird looks for Ernie at a circus The F-Flea Circus Big Bird observes penguins patterns Kermit and Grover build a snowman Big Bird asks a dinosaur if he's seen Ernie Caveman days: Bert invents a window Vol. 3: Nursery Rhyme Land Ernie auditions merry men Sesame Street News: Hickory Dickory Dock Beanstalk Plants Can Grow High Sesame Street News: jack and the Beanstalk Journey to Big Bird Tall, Taller, tallest Vol. 4: Hay Stack Ernie replaces Bert's cowboy hat with a pan Forgetful Jones and Buster brush each others teeth Sesame Street News: Flying Saucer identified on Old MacDonald's Farm Rubber Duckie Land D-U-C-K-I-E Journey to Bert Bert's Blanket
maniacal muppet
I think that Global Grover DVDs would also be good. Feature three Global Grover sketches per volume, plus one or two Global Thingy sketches and some sketches that have to do with countries that Grover talks about.

Ernie's Journey
Ernie's Journey is a magical circus theatre adventure for family audiences. The seamless integration of circus, physical theatre, story-telling, stage magic, poetry and puppetry will nurture and excite your inner-child.
About the Show
An original live concert-harp score takes the tale from the dreamy realms of distant shores to the most raucous sea shanties!
This show is particularly enchanting for 4-11 year-olds but the high-skill circus will amaze audiences of all ages.
It felt like nobody really believed in Ernie and sometimes he wondered whether he even believed in himself. He finds that being yourself and following your dreams can lead to all kinds of unexpected adventures but it is the people we love who make it all worth it.
Don't just take our word for it
Ernie’s Journey was brilliant! Full of magic, salty tales and a warming story of friendship to boot. My five-year old loved it so much that he asked to go back to see it again tomorrow!
Nick White - Wassail Theatre
The children really loved this performance! They squealed with laughter at the jokes and were wowed by the circus skills

The Circus is a group of performers, including but not limited to acrobats, clowns , animal acts, jugglers, and daredevils who perform in a troupe, often in multiple rings or arenas, and led by a Ringmaster . The Circus dates back to ancient Rome, where it consisted of horse and chariot races, and China where they consisted of primarily acrobatic acts.
The first western circus opened in Philadelphia in 1793, but it was P. T. Barnum who was the pioneer of what audiences are familiar with today. Following the merger of his circus with that of James Anthony Bailey, a more familiar circus was born, with a large canvas tent, human oddities for a sideshow, and multiple rings housing continuous acts. In 1919, after both partners had died, the Barnum and Bailey show merged with the Ringling Brothers show, to form the quintessential American circus, the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus .
The modern circus is an amalgam other influences as well. Bands of Gypsies often brought with them circus skills and trained animals while traveling Britain , and Antonio Franconi, the founder of the French circus, is often credited as a co-creator of the modern circus. Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show was also a precursor to the moden circus.
While often touted as an evening of excitement and fun, not all is always happy with the circus. Clowns were often used as a distraction to the audience when an accident occurred (or an act flopped). Stephen Sondheim's song " Send in the Clowns " is a metaphorical looks at this stage practice. With the advent of more theatrical stages, clowns became pure comic relief, and have even provided a launching pad to a successful career outside the circus, as was the case for Bill Irwin .
Animal cruelty has shrouded the circus for years. With animal acts involving Lions , Tigers , Elephants and more, animal activists have been concerned over their housing and training. This concern became the focus of a Dinosaurs episode titled " Charlene and Her Amazing Humans ", where Cavelings are mistreated to perform on cue.
The sideshow also became an integral part of the circus, with "freaks" (such as Tattooed Ladies or gimmicky acts (such as the Flea circus ) luring people into spending additional money for the secondary show.
Aside from the Ringling Brothers, Barnum and Bailey Circus, other famous circuses include Cirque du Soleil and The Big Apple Circus, and famous acts have included Emmett Kelly and Gunther Gebel-Williams .
The Muppets have visited the circus on numerous occasions.
