Longstaff's Travel is made up of Longstaff's Garage and Longstaff's Coach Hire, this allows us to offer great service to vehicle owners in need of repairs or an MOT as well as making sure our coaches are always in top condition giving you a safe and comfortable experience.

Based in Amble, Northumberland we are in a prime location to easily cover the North of England and Scotland. We are available for school trips, excursions to Europe, sports teams travelling to meets, work or staff outings, group travel of any kind both nationally and Europe wide - Longstaff Coaches are the firm to call. With ample luggage/sports equipment storage, courteous staff and comfort, you can be sure of a safe and pleasant journey.

We offer a range of coaches from 16 seats to 61 seats. All of our coaches offer a variety of features so you can choose the one that suits your needs. Each vehicle is designed to transport you in style, safety and comfort to your destination. We are proud of our tradition and heritage of providing quality coach hire services.

Christopher Longstaff

Christopher became a Partner of Longstaffs in 1971 and Senior Partner following the death of his father, Richard, in May 1975. He qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1973 and also as a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers that same year. Robbie Longstaff

Robbie gained a First Class Honours Degree in Property Agency and Marketing from the Royal Agricultural College (Cirencester). A Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers, Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and an RICS Registered Valuer, he worked for a regional firm of General Practice Surveyors in Cambridgeshire before joining Longstaffs in 2006. Initially based at our Bourne Office before moving to Spalding, Robbie is primarily involved in Rural Property Agency, Subsidy Advice and associated Professional matters. Kit Longstaff

Kit has over 12 years’ experience within the profession and is a qualified Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, RICS Registered Valuer and a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers. Kit is actively involved with all aspects of our multi-discipline business and works from our Bourne and Spalding Offices. Annabel initially joined the firm in 1992, having graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a BSc (Hons) degree in Urban Estate Surveying. Richard Start

Richard specialises in Land Agency/Surveying. He gained a BSc (Hons) Agric and MSc and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and Central Association of Agricultural Valuers. From a local farming family, prior to joining the profession in 2008, he had a career in Farm Management so has a good knowledge of practical farming and the issues it can create. John has been involved in the property business since 1970 and has always worked in South Lincolnshire. He joined Longstaffs in 1986 and became a Partner in 1989 until 2017 and continues as a Practicing Consultant. Rebecca Smith

Graham has been an Estate Agent since 1988. Having worked in the corporate and independent sector in the late 1980s and 1990s, he joined Longstaff’s in 2000. Graham was a partner of the firm from 2007 for 14 years and has now semi-retired leaving the partnership and taking up a new role as Senior Residential Sales Adviser. Stephen is a former partner of Escritt Barrell Golding – EBG who were acquired by Longstaffs in January 2022.

He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors having qualified in 1978 and he also holds a BSc in Urban Estate Surveying.

Stephen has always practiced in Grantham, Sleaford and the surrounding area undertaking a wide variety of professional work. He is now mainly involved with commercial property matters and land development.
