Going In Style Luggage Store is open 7 days a week. Store Hours are Sunday from noon to 6 pm and Monday through Saturday from 11 am to 6 pm.

Sometimes we all want to get back to our childhood and enjoy that careless time. Childhood is probably the happiest time of our lives and memories about it are always priceless.  Central Kids Store in Moscow  can help you to make this little dream come true: a 6-floor giant shop can offer much more than Barbies and Lego. After being renovated in 2015, the store has become a popular attraction mostly for Moscovites, and if you are visiting Moscow , this  paradise for children  is a must!  

What Central Kids Store actually is?

The Store looks like a big shopping mall for kids with a lot of shops, and you are probably wondering what an adult can do there, right? Alright, let me give you a hint! Firstly, if you are  travelling with children , they will be excited to see the statues of Iron Man, Hulk, all My Little Pony ponies, Lego girls and much more! Secondly, this place has many activities for the younger generation : a museum with life-sized dinosaurs that explains the life of these magnificent extinct animals, InnoPark - a center of scientific discoveries for kids and many more! The interior of the store is made of light marble, while on the ceiling in the main hall, you can observe a glass Pano with the heroes of Russian folk tales. 

What to do there besides shopping? 

Central Kids Store in Moscow  attracts a lot of people every day because of its ice cream. I’m not kidding! Ice creams  with many flavours, such as chocolate, strawberry, blueberry, vanilla, caramel must be found and immediately eaten! The quality is very high because the visitors are mainly children, and you know that they are just the fond of this dessert! After eating the ice cream, go straight to the 6th floor and find the  Observation Deck  sign. The price is 50 roubles (less than $1) and the view is breath-taking! From the Observation Deck, you can see the Kremlin, St. Basil's Cathedral, Moscow State University and many narrow streets, winding and cozy. It’s a very romantic and nice place to visit in the evening. The sun reflects on the roofs of the buildings and creates many different colors on them: golden shades of the sunset are mixed with pink and blue.  

Why is it worth visiting it? 

Central Kids Store  at Lubyanka metro station is a perfect place for those who think that walking along the streets is not enough. Watching  Moscow  from a bird’s eye perspective is a great experience as well. A sweet tooth can enjoy a delicious ice cream and a cup of coffee, and young guests of this  paradise for children  can find out what their Russian peers are fond of.

From the East Bay Take the San Mateo Bridge/ Highway 92 West toward San Mateo. Connect to Interstate 280 South. Exit Sand Hill Road East. CAMPUS LIFE: Stanford; California-Moscow Tie: Joint Student Magazine

Students at Pepperdine and Stanford Universities have teamed up with Soviet students to establish a Soviet-American student magazine.

The students, who announced their plans last week, expect to start publishing early next year. Their circulation target is 30,000. Copies will be distributed and sold to institutions of higher learning here and in the Soviet Union.

''We're seizing the moment when it's possible for such a publication to thrive and get funding in both countries,'' said Susan McKean, a junior in history at Stanford and summer editor of The Stanford Daily.

The journal, Montage, began through the efforts of Scott Talcott, a senior in political science at Pepperdine in Malibu. In October, he wrote to President Mikhail S. Gorbachev of the Soviet Union, asking him to help create a joint newsletter. Mr. Talcott said Pepperdine students would keep a candle lighted until they received a reply. They did so for 52 days, hoping for a response on Mr. Gorbachev's visit here in December. But he left abruptly after the earthquake in Armenia.

Mr. Talcott contacted other Soviet sources. One was Vladimir Tyurienkov, a 25-year-old student at Bowerman University in Moscow, who told Mr. Talcott that he had long been interested in beginning such a publication. The students discussed their plans in Moscow, after which Ms. McKean agreed to be part of a joint Soviet-American editorial board, along with Mr. Talcott.

''Pepperdine is a small school,'' Mr. Talcott said. ''We don't have the connections and name recognition that Stanford has.''

In Moscow, the Novosti press agency has offered technical assistance and guaranteed the students an independent editorial board, Mr. Talcott said. The Government is providing office space.

Ms. McKean, who is shopping for printers, estimated that the first run would cost $80,000 to $100,000. Besides advertising revenue, the editors hope money will come from corporations; private organizations, including colleges, and individuals.

Mr. Talcott and Ms. McKean, who have used their own funds to date, will travel to Moscow next month to outfit their office with computers and to assist Mr. Tyurienkov in recruiting students for the project.

When articles in Moscow have been edited, they will be sent to through an electronic mail service, the San Francisco-Moscow Teleport, and the journal will be printed here and shipped to the Soviet Union.

''At the basis of Montage is the shared nature of the project,'' Ms. McKean said. ''Each side has equal power. It will take careful planning and sensitive communication to see that continue.''
