SALIVA 's founding guitarist Wayne Swinny died three months ago while on tour with the group. On March 22, SALIVA shared a statement on Facebook in which the band said that Swinny had been found that morning "in medical distress." Paramedics were called and the musician was transported to hospital "where he was diagnosed with a Spontaneous Hemorrhage in his brain."

SALIVA was on the road in the U.S. as part of the "Spring Mayhem" tour with THROUGH FIRE and ANY GIVEN SIN and had played in Warrendale, Pennsylvania on March 21.

When the remaining members of SALIVA announced their plans to continue in April, they released a statement via social media in which they said: "Since the devastating loss of our brother Wayne , we have had many difficult discussions regarding the future of the band. We had recently completed an album that was three years in the making, but when tragedy struck, we paused all plans and focused our energy on supporting one another and Wayne 's loved ones through this troubling time. As we grieved, we also took time to reflect on the joy of countless memories together on the road, travelling, making music and performing.

" Wayne truly loved being onstage and he loved his fans. We also thought about all the creativity, talent, and passion that Wayne put into what would ultimately and unfortunately end up being his last album. Onstage and off, Wayne was a powerful presence in as our lives, so the decision on whether to carry on as a band is a difficult one.

"What is the best way to honor a legendary talent like Wayne ?

"After careful consideration, and with the support of his family, we have made the decision to pay tribute to his legacy the best way we know how, through our music. We intend to move forward with the release of our album so everyone can hear the new songs that Wayne put his heart and soul into. We will also continue with the summer tour plans, honoring his memory every time we perform with a portion of the proceeds from each show gifted to his daughter Nikki .

"The entire music community has lost a remarkable talent, and Wayne 's impact on the music industry will continue to be felt for years to come.

"We miss Wayne beyond measure, but we know that he would want us to keep making music and sharing it with our fans, and to keep his spirit alive through our performances.

"We are grateful for the love and support from Wayne 's family, fans, and friends.

"Rest in peace, Wayne . You will be missed, but your music will live on forever."

SALIVA launched its career in 2001 with the release of "Every Six Seconds" , a double-platinum selling album with hits that include "Click, Click Boom" and "Your Disease" .

The band has toured the U.S. with SEVENDUST , AEROSMITH and KISS .

SALIVA reunited with original singer Josey Scott for a one-off appearance at last year's Blue Ridge Rock Festival at the Virginia International Raceway in Alton, Virginia.

Scott left SALIVA at the end of 2011 after 15 years with the group, reportedly to pursue a solo Christian music career. He was quickly replaced by Bobby Amaru , who can be heard on SALIVA 's last four releases: "In It To Win It" (2013), "Rise Up" (2014), "Love, Lies & Therapy" (2016) and "10 Lives" (2018).

SALIVA released six albums with Scott and tasted platinum success and a Grammy nomination for its first big hit, "Your Disease" .

In May 2021, SALIVA celebrated the 20th anniversary of its breakthrough major label debut, "Every Six Seconds" , with a special project called "Every Twenty Years" , an EP of classic songs re-recorded with Amaru .

This past March, it was announced that singer Ryan McCombs had rejoined DROWNING POOL .

The longtime SOIL frontman, who has lived in Swindon, England since 2018, originally joined DROWNING POOL in 2005 and appeared on two of the band's studio albums, "Full Circle" (2007) and "Drowning Pool" (2010),as well as a live album, 2009's "Loudest Common Denominator" . He rejoined SOIL after exiting DROWNING POOL in 2011.

McCombs will continue to front SOIL and will perform with both bands moving forward.

DROWNING POOL 's first new record since 2016, "Strike A Nerve" , came out last September via T-Boy / UMe . It marked the band's third album with singer Jasen Moreno , who joined DROWNING POOL in 2012.

DROWNING POOL addressed Moreno 's departure in a social media post on March 16, writing: "We appreciate everyone asking about Jasen . We can't speak for him but we believe he was just ready to move on to other things in life. Maybe he will make a statement. Maybe he won't. Regardless, we wish him the best."

Saliva Set to Release New Album 'Revelation' Announces SNAFU Le Tour 2023 with Drowning Pool!

drowning pool saliva tour

Saliva announced the SNAFU Le Tour 2023 with Drowning Pool, Adelitas Way and Any Given Sin that begins on September 10th in Norfolk, VA at Norva. The tour is in support of Saliva's new album Revelation which drops on September 8, 2023. Saliva is coming off two charting singles, with the most recent “High on Me” reaching Top 20 in Mediabase and Billboard . Their current single “Come Back Stronger” is out now.

Pre-Save Revelation here: https://orcd.co/salivarevelation

“We started working on this record in 2020 During the pandemic shutdown. I felt like we had to get outside of the box with this one. I’ve been sober almost 5 years now and there are many songs on this record that are a reflection of it. I just wanted to connect with the listener and pull them into what I was dealing with but also shed some light on overcoming personal adversity. With the passing of Wayne in March, I felt lost. Where do I go? I knew We had this record we were all stoked about. Waynes influence is all over these songs and in my opinion, his playing on this album is next level. It’s the only right thing to do to honor him and all our hard work and release it. I just want to share with the world what we have worked on the last 3 plus years,” says Bobby Amaru.

Drowning Pool is reuniting with singer Ryan McCombs , this will mark their first tour back together. McCombs goes on about rejoining the group: "I’m excited as hell to be rocking out with Ryan McCombs back at the helm with us in Drowning Pool and touring together again with our brothers in Saliva! We hit it off as friends right out of the gate playing our first show together at WrestleMania 18 in 2002, and with Ryan on Ozzfest 2002. We’ve all had so many great festival shows and tours together throughout the years. Looking forward to sharing the stage once again with Saliva, having Ryan McCombs back with us in Drowning Pool, forever celebrating the memory of Dave Williams and Wayne Swinny, making new insane tour memories and kickass shows across the country. Can’t wait to perform and hang out with all of our friends and family at the rock shows! C’mon out and have a great time with us!" says Drowning Pool guitarist C.J. Pierce.

McCombs adds, "Drowning Pool and Saliva are two bands that not only have a rich history of their own but they’re two bands that have a great history of sharing the road together. This being my first extended run of dates back with my Drowning Pool family,I am horns-up and hells-to-the-yes that it’s also with Saliva! People that I respect as musicians and performing artists as well as real human beings that I consider friends.. Along with all that, having both Adelitas Way and Any Given Sin is a surefire recipe for a killer night, every night. From the first note to the last."

Adelitas Way will be releasing a full-length album, and a new hard rock single “Dig Deep” at the start of this tour.

“We are ready to put on locked in, high energy performances for the fans, and excited to have fun on the road with our friends in Any Given Sin, Saliva, and Drowning Pool, this is going to be great!” says Rick Dejesus, vocalist of Adelitas Way.

Each band will be conducting their own on-site VIP prior to doors. These VIPs will be sold on a separate platform and WILL NOT include a ticket to the show. All VIPs will need to purchase a show ticket for entrance.

Saliva  announced the  SNAFU Le Tour 2023  with  Drowning Pool,   Adelitas Way  and  Any Given Sin  that begins on September 10th in Norfolk, VA at Norva. The tour is in support of Saliva’s new album  Revelation  that drops on September 8, 2023.  Saliva  is coming off two charting singles, with the most recent  “High on Me”  reaching  Top 20 in Mediabase  and  Billboard . Their current single  “Come Back Stronger”  is out now.

Pre-Save  Revelation HERE :

“We started working on this record in 2020 During the pandemic shutdown. I felt like we had to get outside of the box with this one. I’ve been sober almost 5 years now and there are many songs on this record that are a reflection of it. I just wanted to connect with the listener and pull them into what I was dealing with but also shed some light on overcoming personal adversity. With the passing of Wayne in March, I felt lost. Where do I go? I knew We had this record we were all stoked about. Waynes influence is all over these songs and in my opinion his playing on this album is next level. It’s the only right thing to do to honor him and all our hard work and release it. I just want to share with the world what we have worked on the last 3 plus years,”  says Bobby Amaru.

Please get in touch if you would like to attend a show for review or if you would like to interview any of the bands.

Drowning Pool  is reuniting with singer  Ryan McCombs , this will mark their first tour back together.

“I’m excited as hell to be rocking out with Ryan McCombs back at the helm with us in Drowning Pool and touring together again with our brothers in Saliva! C’mon out and have a great time with us!”  says Drowning Pool guitarist C.J. Pierce.

Ryan McCombs adds,  “Drowning Pool and Saliva are two bands that not only have a rich history of their own but they’re two bands that have a great history of sharing the road together. From the first note to the last.”

Adelitas Way  will be releasing a full length album, and a new hard rock single  “Dig Deep”  at the start of this tour.

Recent tour reviews

This was my first time seeing Saliva and they did NOT disappoint!! Their energy is super high and they nailed it all— AWESOME show!! Can’t wait to see them again!! The only thing that wasn’t good was the sound system at the venue— the singers were drowned out by the bands & at times it was like their mics were off...but that’s on the venue.

This is the third time I've seen Saliva live and first acoustic set! I LOVED It! I love both sets. And was not let down. Bobby(lead singer) even hung around after the show and had few drinks with everyone and took pictures!

Drowning Pool:

Giant riffs, crowd-moving grooves, and monstrous vocals are the tools with which DROWNING POOL builds triumph out of tragedy, steadily evolves without compromise, and remains true to the Supporters with over a decade’s worth of remarkable fortitude and attitude. HELLELUJAH is the album their die-hard fans demanded, and the aggressive heavy rock world at large deserved.

Each of Drowning Pool’s last three albums debuted in the Top 5 on Billboard’s Hard Rock chart, cementing the legacy established by their legendary platinum debut, Sinner , which the band celebrated with a 13th-anniversary special edition and tour. Moreno’s massive pipes enabled him to quickly master Drowning Pool’s dense catalog when he became the band’s frontman in 2012.

Drowning Pool songs conjure emotions that deeply connect with those who persevere against the odds and sacrifice to survive, whether it’s a military soldier serving overseas, or a blue-collar family trying to make ends meet. Their music transcends boundaries of race, class, and lifestyle as well, resonating with people from all walks of life who look to music to get them through life’s challenges. The band’s Texas-sized crunch and gregarious, charismatic personalities catapulted them to platinum status and hard rock royalty in the early 2000s alongside contemporaries like Disturbed, Godsmack, and Slipknot.

Their music is an unapologetic celebration of life’s joy and pain, able to swiftly maneuver between defiant declarations of resistance. Each distinctive era of the band’s history is represented onstage, where the band bashes through an arsenal of anthems all delivered with precision and strength.

Saliva: Saliva is an American rock band formed in Memphis, Tennessee in 1996. Saliva released their self-titled debut album on August 26, 1997, through Rockingchair Records, a record label owned and operated by Mark Yoshida, who recorded and produced the release at his studio, Rockingchair Studios. They were signed to Island Records and went on to release their second studio album Every Six Seconds. Saliva later released their third studio album titled Back into Your System on November 12, 2002 which reached No. 19 on the Billboard 200. Back into Your System launched one of Saliva's most successful songs, "Always", reaching No. 51 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 1 on the Modern Rock Chart.
