Cruise is lovely. Whenever my brothers are in the city I always make sure I accompany them to Cruise. Yeah, it's a unisex shop but is aimed mainly at men, so I feel like a bit of a creep going in here alone. The clothes they sell are ultra high-end and ultra-expensive, but they are amazing. When I get my first proper 9-5 job, I plan to buy my power suit form here. The husband and 2.3 children will come later, I presume. They are a smaller version of Harvey Nichols for their brands and prices, but it's quite nice to feel posh, even if it's just for a few minutes!

I've never been the biggest fan of Cruise, I'm not really one for designer labels particularly when the brand name is displayed right across the front as with most items in Cruise. I like more low key designs and brands such as DKNY, Juicy Couture, Gucci and Fendi don't really interest me. Like Stephanie, I prefer the guys section to the ladies as the clothes seem a bit more understated and not as "look at me, I'm wearing a designer handbag". Most of the items in Cruise are over priced, predictable and just a bit naff but you can find the odd item that's rather nice, so I guess it's worth a look from time to time.

Tres expensive, but rather lovely at the same time. You can pick up togs from Armani, Paul Smith and Gucci from here to name a couple of designer names, and these come with designer price tags. They do have some fantastic pieces though and I would love to be able to afford to shop here! I have to say I actually prefer the men's selection in Cruise to the Ladies, it's much more stylish and fashionable, I think.

Cruise clothing is a trendy, fashionable, outlet, geared towards wealthier customers. It stocks the likes of Prada and Hackett - or a pair of Adidas Y3 shoes can be yours for around £200. Located on George Street, it's a spacious and elegant store. The staff are very smartly turned out and appear friendly, without being overly fussy. It's particularly worth a visit during sale times; one can usually find something very aesthetically pleasing at a good price. An effortlessly stylish store.

Wave good bye to your cash. This is high end stuff here. There are two Cruise shops on George street one more formal with suits and so on the other more streetwear. Armani, Boss, D+G, 7mankind. Either you like this sort of stuff or you cant get why a T shirt cost £70. One of the stores does good line of mens shoes. Looks like the place WAGS will be seen in!

Sales staff are much, much better than Harvey Nicks'. Worth a visit when on sale. Staff are knowledgeable of their products. Nicer shop for men than women.

Cruise is one of Edinburghs top designer shops. Here they have a range of various designers including Armani, Hugo Boss, Paul Smith, Gucci etc. The clothes are aimed at the young followers of fashion. The prices as you might expect are expensive. However if you want to wear something that not everybody else will be wearing head along here to pick up some great looking clothes

Russia's Nuclear Deterrent Command Center Imperiled by Winter Freeze—Report

A Russian nuclear deterrent command center in Moscow has been imperiled by power outages that have impacted more than one-quarter of the region's cities amid freezing temperatures, a Russian Telegram channel has reported.

The VChK-OGPU outlet, which purports to have inside information from Russian security forces, reported that the 820th Main Center for Missile Attack Warnings—part of the Russian Space Forces, a branch of the country's Aerospace Forces—near Solnechnogorsk in Moscow is without power.

It serves as the space forces early warning network against potential ballistic missile attacks.

The development comes as Russians are reported to be suffering from power outages in their homes in the Moscow region caused by technical issues at plants amid subzero temperatures.

On January 4, a heating main burst at the Klimovsk Specialized Ammunition Plant in the town of Podolsk, which is about 30 miles south of central Moscow. Since then, tens of thousands of Russians are reported to have no heating in their homes.

Affected areas include the cities of Khimki, Balashikha, Lobnya, Lyubertsy, Podolsk, Chekhov and Naro-Fominsk, a map published by a Russian Telegram channel and shared on other social media sites shows.

Other Russian media outlets reported that in Moscow, residents of Balashikha, Elektrostal, Solnechnogorsk, Dmitrov, Domodedovo, Troitsk, Taldom, Orekhovo-Zuyevo, Krasnogorsk, Pushkino, Ramenskoye, Voskresensk, Losino-Petrovsky and Selyatino are also without power.

The Telegram channel said that at the 820th Main Center for Missile Attack Warnings, "the crew...is on duty around the clock."

"It is here that the decision on a retaliatory nuclear strike is executed," the channel said.

Newsweek could not independently verify the report and has reached out to the Russian Defense Ministry by email for comment.

Power outages have also been reported in Russia's second-largest city, St. Petersburg, in the country's western Voronezh region, in the southwest city of Volgograd, and in Rostov, which borders Ukraine, a country that Russia has been at war with since February 24, 2022.

On Sunday, two shopping malls in St. Petersburg were forced to close because of problems with light and heating, reported local news outlet 78.ru. Hundreds of other homes in the city have had no electricity, water or heating for days amid temperatures of -25 C (-13 F).

Russian authorities have also been forced to compensate passengers of a train that ran from Samara to St. Petersburg (a 20-hour journey) without heating during -30 C (-22 F) temperatures. Videos circulating on social media showed carriage windows frozen over. A passenger also said the toilet didn't work during the trip because of frozen pipes.
