You’ll be greeted by our female drivers and tour guide wearing traditional dress – Ao Dai of Motorbike City Tours at your hotel lobby for a safety briefing and detailed itinerary of your journey. W e use a fleet of brand new Honda Lead scooters equipped with PASSENGER BACKRESTS for comfort, you feel like you are in a lounge chair, not hanging on tightly as some bikes you may do. From there the adventure begins!  

The first stage of our Hanoi City Insight Motorbike Tours will take you through the winding labyrinth of back streets and alleys of the innermost parts of Hanoi, to the sprawling city scapes and beautiful architecture that line the main streets.  Along the way our knowledgeable guides will tell you stories of the rich history and fun facts of all the must see landmarks of Hanoi . From the famous opera house , to the crashed remnants of a B-52 “Flying Fortress” bomber that reached its final resting place in a small lake. W e will Catch a glimpse into the lives of the locals and see the bustling markets full of life and vibrancy.  As we exit the city we pass the Long Bien bridge , an iconic symbol of Vietnam ’s capitol built during the French colonial time over 100 years ago.

The second stage of our Hanoi Scooter Tours  takes you out of the hustle and bustle of the city, you’ll be welcomed into the more quiet and contemplative side of Hanoi. Surrounded by green gardens with farmland stretching in all directions, you’ll enter the canopy of guava and banana trees as our tour leads you down dirt paths into the heart of Hanoi’s agricultural countryside- The Banana island . 

T he third stage of our Motorbike City Tours  lead you along the shores of the West Lake as the cool breeze off the water cools you down before heading back to the narrow alleys leading to the legendary Reunification Train Street.  On our trip we will visit a local family and have chance to talk to the owner who is a war veteran about his interesting stories of our country from his childhood to modern Vietnam and its legacy as well as learn more about Vietnamese culture and customs.

On last stage of our Hanoi Scooter Tours – your whirlwind tour wraps up as we make our way back to the city to rest and recharge. Your tour will come to a close at a authentic eatery for lunch and a local cafe, a famous spot for Vietnamese egg coffee .

DETAIL OF HANOI FEMALE VESPA CITY TOUR HALF DAY

1. We will pick you up and ride through narrow streets to come to the meeting point for joining the group at the historic Old Quarter. We will then visit the French Quarter including the Opera house where you will learn about French colonial architecture and its history.

2. Then our Vespa rider will ride you to the Railway Tracks, where we will witness how to live and work of locals. What will surprise you is that they live in tall narrow houses, just some centimeters from the railway.

3. We will continue to ride you toward Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Our rider will stop at the point where you can see the overview of the area including President Place, Parliament House, and the Government Office, our guide will tell you about the history and story of Hanoi.

4. After that, we will ride past the botanical garden and through a small alley to see the narrow houses. We will stop to visit Huu Hiep Lake to see the B52 Crash site at the lake. This US bomber was shot down during raids bombing Hanoi in 1972.

5: Our next ride is to visit West lake one of the biggest lakes in Hanoi City, at some points here, we can see the overview of the city with beautiful houses and scenery including the area of the rich people.

6. Then we will drive to Thanh Nien Street next to Truc Bach Lake where we stop at the monument of John MC Cain and see the lake and the place he got shot down, you will learn about the story of John MC Cain.

7. We will continue to ride around West Lake, one of the biggest lakes in Hanoi, our Vespa riders will ride you to the viewpoint so that you can see the overview of Hanoi City. We will stop to visit Phu Tay Ho Temple.

8. Our next ride will take us along the lakeside. You will get a chance to see the flower farm. Depending on the season, in summer, you can see lotus flowers, in the winter, we will see many different kinds of flowers. Next to the flower farm are two dragon statues built in 2010 symboling Hanoi City.

9. Then we will take you to visit Van Nien Pagoda, one of the oldest pagodas in Hanoi, built in 1010 by King Ly Thai To. This is beautiful architecture, and you will have a chance to learn the history and story from our tour guide.

10. After the long ride and visit, we will spend time relaxing and trying the famous coffee of Hanoi, Egg Coffee.

11. After that, we will ride out of the city to the Long Bien Bridge, a magnificent structure built over a hundred years ago, spanning the Red River and connecting the Hoan Kiem and Long Bien districts and providing shelter to locals living on the boats underneath.

12. We will then get on the Vespa and head to the local restaurant so that you enjoy the Vietnamese cuisine. After lunch, our Vespa team will ride you back to your hotel, you can get off anywhere you want, only need to tell our tour guide.
