How to get tourist visa to Singapore in Doha?

Is there any way to get tourist visa to Singapore right here in Doha? As long as I know there is no SNG embassy in Qatar. I am planning to visit SNG in July-August on my own; I mean not with any travel company. Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!

I got my visa today after a day of submission. it takes a day for it, thats it.

I submitted the same document as mentioned above and got 2 year multientry visit visa for short stay. its an evisa so not stamped on the passport, was informed visa would be stamped at the singapore airport on producing the printout of my evisa.

evisa can be submitted by anyone having singpass, so need to contact this travel agent for a fee of 150 QAR.

I called this no 499 5700, and they informed me they are located near mumtaza may be shifted and the documents needed were.

1)2 passport size photo with white background

2) Flight Ticket reserved for journey

3) Accomodation reserved details (Hotel reservation), if stayting with friend/relative then their singapore ID and their address details with invitation letter.

4) Letter from company/sponsor stating occupation/designation and salary.

5) Qatar RP copy

6) passport in original for visa stamping.

I know this is an old thread, but I am replying just in case it helps somebody later on.

For the Singapore visa, go to Overseas travels(near Grand Hamad Street aka Bank Street). There is a Singapore Airlines counter there. You need the following

1) Your passport

2) 1 photo with a blue background and shows your face and ears clearly.

You can get the application form from there. Fill it and give it to the guy there. They will give you the visa in 3,4 days.

The visa costs 120 QR. I think they take an additional 10 QR.

We applied for the visa, and I got 5 weeks Multiple entry, while my wife and kid got 2 years multiple entry:)

You can submit your visa application online via the Singapore Immigration website http://www.ica.gov.sg .

 Poor me!!! Neither me a  preveledged Srilankan visa holder nor a 1st world citizen....lol...Even going to Dubai merely for a SNG visa is impossible. Tell me if there is any other simple way or if there is anybody who can take our PPs to Dubai and get it syamped.

If you have a Sri Lankan Passport you don't need a Prior Visa to entre:) Lot 1st world and Asean counries don't need prior visa. They get visa on arrival But if you have an Indian passport holder prior Visa is a must :)

I tghink they issue the visa from Dubai.

Singapore visa requirements for Qataris

Travel and visa requirements, singaporean visa is not required for qataris, stay duration: 30 days, entry requirements.

• For the Qatar passport holders travelling to Singapore, a visa application is not required for entry for a stay up to 30 days.
• Citizens of Qatar should provide a passport valid for the duration of stay in the country
• Passport in possession of citizens should have at least two blank pages for entry stamps
• Visitors are expected to provide a Yellow Fever vaccination certificate
• Travellers must have confirmed onward or return ticket and enough money to cover the expenses of their visit to Singapore.
• Computer generated flight itinerary from the airline or a travel agency is needed also.
• Travellers aged 18 years old or more are allowed the free import of no more than one litre of beer, spirits and wine.
• The import of meat and its products into Singapore is prohibited.
• Free export of a moderate amount of tobacco products and alcoholic drinks.
• Importing and exporting of explosives or firearms is forbidden except if the traveller has a permit from the Director-General of Civil Aviation Authority, Singapore
• Any tobacco products and chewing-gum must be declared on arrival.
• The trading of banned drugs is a serious crime in Singapore and the penalty for such crime is death.
• All travellers are not required to pay any airport tax upon departing from the airport.
• There are no restrictions on importing local currency (Singapore Dollar-SGD) and foreign currencies but visitors are allowed to possess up to 30,000 SDG (Singapore Dollar-SGD) at departure

Traveling from Singapore to Qatar

There are some requirements to travel from Singapore to Qatar . Some measures were created to facilitate tourists' identification during the World Cup. However, some are still part of the Qatar COVID-19 restrictions.

One of the main requirements is to apply for the Hayya Card . This card was created to identify tourists during the Cup easily, and travelers will use it to access stadiums, public buses, and the metro. So even travelers who won't go to the matches have to apply to visit Qatar during the sporting event. The rule applies to Singapore and other countries too.

Qatar has COVID-19 restrictions still. The country adopted health measures according to the coronavirus spread risk in the passengers' countries. Beyond that, there are different protocols for unvaccinated and fully vaccinated citizens.

• Singapore Loses ‘World’s Best Airport’ Crown to Qatar

(Bloomberg) -- The race for the “world’s best airport” crown has been a two-horse affair in recent years, with Doha’s Hamad International and Singapore Changi leading the pack.

This year the title has switched, with 12-time winner Singapore being edged out of the top spot by its Middle Eastern rival in the Skytrax World Airport Awards 2024 .

In a strong showing for Asia, Seoul Incheon bagged third place — also being named 2024’s most family friendly airport — while Tokyo’s twin facilities of Haneda and Narita  took fourth and fifth spots.

Hong Kong airport saw a significant boost, up 22 positions to 11th place after the city shook off its Covid-19 hangover and passenger numbers rose.

Once again US airports were nowhere to be seen near the top of the table, with the highest ranked, Seattle-Tacoma, slipping six places to 24.

Europe continued to have a strong showing, with Paris Charles de Gaulle, Munich, Zurich and Istanbul all maintaining positions in the top 10.

In other moves:

“This year HIA celebrates its milestone 10th year of operations and we are truly honored that passengers have voted us Best Airport in the World for a third time,” said Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Officer Badr Al Meer.

The Skytrax World Airport Awards are determined by customer satisfaction survey.
