The tour was perfectly organised by Mr Laxman from Adventure Bound. The mountain views were breathtaking and the rural landscape with the beautiful villages and rhododendron forests was spectacular. I would like to express my gratitude to my wonderful guide Raman, who always took great care of me throughout the tour. Raman is highly experienced, super friendly, reliable and always helpful. He answered all my questions about the trekking, the Nepali people and culture, the region and wildlife with great enthusiasm. Furthermore, he explained each day's trek in details and adjusted the tour to my abilities. The hiking with Raman was fantastic! I highly recommend booking a trekking tour in Nepal with Adventure Bound and having Raman as your guide. Read more Written February 20, 2024

  • SumikaM4 0 contributions 5.0 of 5 bubbles The best hike to EBC/ Kala Patthar Adventure Bound was incredibly supportive to reach the Everest Base Camp(EBC) for the first time in the end of Oct. They are super friendly and supportive from the day of our arrival in Nepal to the end of this adventure. Staying at their managed hotel with an office on the ground floor in Kathmandu made communication and inquiries effortless. They paid attention to every detail, allowing us to leave our suitcases and the other stuff that we don’t use during the hike. Santosh, our guide, was incredible from day one. Experienced, friendly, and always prioritizing our conditions, he brought positive energy that made even the toughest parts of the hike enjoyable. Without him, our porter, and the team, reaching Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar wouldn't have been possible. Their support meant everything! Looking forward to our next hike with them. My guide Arjyal Santosh was friendly, professional and his knowledge of the area was 2nd to none. Also making each day fun and enjoyable even on the longer tougher days. With 10 years of trekking and guiding experience he put me at ease straight away with the challenges ahead (Throng La pass) and was flexible with the itinerary which improved the overall experience. Also taking the trekking trails at every opportunity as opposed to the road way. The acclimatisation to altitude was perfect and would highly recommend his service for novice and experienced trekkers alike. The accomodation and food choices were all excellent. The organization happened via email and was very straightforward. The price was fair and even slightly cheaper then what I heard from other trekkers. After arrival in Kathmandu I visited the Adventure Bound office where I met my guide, Ganesh. He was a fantastic guide, very caring, funny, and he spoke decent English. He was very fit and never seamed tired. He was explaining me a lot about Nepal and the Nepali culture. What I liked a lot was that we could make slight adjustments to the original plan during the trek. That gave me more freedom to adjust the trek according to my current fitness level. All in all, I had a fantastic experience, the whole organization went smoothly and my guide was simply great, all for a fair price. I would definitely book with adventure bound again. I have started the trek alone and I met the 1st day someone who booked with Adventure Bound and had, therefore, Ganesh as a guide. I joined them, fortunatelly and it was an amazing experience! First of all, it is quite important to have a guide with you as you may need someone to organise things for you in a foreign country up in the mountains and offer you advice based on particular situations you are in. Ganesh proved to be top at these things! I was impressed with his ability to organise and to adapt to everyone"s needs. I liked that he always offered us good options and adapt to whatever we wanted to do and also gave us tips and good information about the trek. He was very perceptive, he was there every time we needed him and when I felt demotivated. I feel we became friends and definetely I hope to see him again when I come to a new adventure. I heartly recommend Ganesh as a guide and I thank him for his attentiviness and kindness! Good luck to you all who do the trek and you will definetely not regret it! Classic Nepal Tour

We had a really wonderful time on our trip to Nepal. Everyone at Everest Tours was really helpful and our driver Raju was excellent. Accommodation and food was good too. We got to see everything mentioned in the tour information. The only downside was the travel between locations which, due to the road works, was not a pleasant experience. We were in a small car which is really not suitable for the terrain, suggestion would be that the tour operator should be using 4x4 vehicles for these trips. This trip allowed us to get familiar with Nepal and we will be back!

Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek

This is a great trip for the money. Just be aware that some of the Tea house do not have a hot shower. The trails are very well maintained but are steep steps. Poles are a must to take pressure off the knees. The other option which is not included which should be is round trip Air from Kathmandu to Pokhara, The included tourist bus takes all day each way is not comfortable. I would recommend for $200 to do a round trip air. Tips for the guides 15% of what you pay for the trip. Please take note they have to provide their own meals along the way so please tip them generously. Make sure you take GOOD rain gear.

Nepal Culture Tour and Rafting, Safari, Pokhara and Combined Sarangkot Hiking

I really enjoyed my tour, so much to see and do at the three different locations with great accommodations and food. The rafting and elephant safari were my favorites. The only issue I had was on the 6th day, the driver took us on a long (approx. 3.5 mile) uphill hike (along a rocky and sometimes slippery trail) from our hotel through the jungle to the World Peace Stupa. This was not in the posted itinerary and I had no idea where we were going. I was too tired to go to the stupa but had lunch at one of the cafes at the top of the hill and took a cab back to the hotel. Given the high heat and humidity that day, had I been informed of the distance and difficulty of the hike, I would have opted out. The rest of the trip was fantastic, a wonderful experience.

Poon Hill trek from Pokhara Tour

Poon Hill trek from Pokhara

This was my first trek in a foreign country, and I wanted something short and easy for beginners. The steep stairs make it quite physical, but there are no dangerous or technical areas. You're strolling through jungle trees and an adorable village with the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountains in the background. If you become overly tired, you can cut your journey short. This trek was fantastic and inspired me to learn more about this amazing country.

Reviews of Pokhara Tours

We had a great experience in Nepal! There is so much to see in the country and the tour provided us a combination of both guided visits and times to explore on our own which was really nice.  From visiting temples and historic sites, to exploring the forests of Chitwan National Park, to sunrise viewing of the Himalayas, all was amazing. Our guide, Raj, was knowledgeable and kind, very gracious, and shared a great deal of information and knowledge.  He moved quickly through areas that he knew but also met the pace we wanted to experience the various facets of Nepal with. All in all, we enjoyed Katmandu, Chitwan, and Pokhara, and would recommend anyone to visit Nepal and enjoy the beauty of the country.
A great tour with local guides demonstrating insightful knowledge around the cities, temples and monuments. Everything went as planned in the itinerary, helpful staff.

  • Explore Bindhyabasini temple.
  • Visit Peace stupa and Tal Barahi temple.
  • Visit Mahadev Cave and Devids falls.
  • Visit International mountain museum.

The day Pokhara tour start early in the morning as you drive to Sarangkot for sunrise view over the Himalayas. Sarangkot popular as an amazing hill station, which lies 5km from the Lakeside of Pokhara. It is the major attractive destination for tourists, as it presents the stunning views of the major hills and mountains of the Annapurna region like Dhaulagiri (8,167 m), Machhapuchhre (6,993 m) and Annapurna massif (8,091 m).

After touring the Sarangkot, you will return to your hotel to have breakfast and you touring the Bindhyabasini temple on the way back to Hotel. The Bindhyabasini temple is belief of the Goddess Bhagwati. The temple is mostly famous as one of the main Shaktipiths of western Nepal. If some myths are believe, then people say that this temple is directly related to the Vindhyachal temple that is in Uttar Pradesh, India. The temple is clad in white and during Dashain, pilgrims flock the temple and offer animal tributes to their guardian deity. The temple is a popular for Bratabandha and marriage ceremony as well. There is a calm environment to meditate and relax due to a big tree in the temple premises.

After Breakfast

After having breakfast at hotel, you will start to visit the Tal Barahi Temple. You will take a boating to reach at the Tal Bahari. Which is located in middle part of the Phewa Lake. The Tal Barahi Temple includes a two-story pagoda structure with a Gajur on top. The Gajur is gilde with gold whereas the other structure is mad of stones, and the temple has a thatched roof. Tal Barahi Temple is dedicated to the hindu Goddess Durga: Protector of Gods. The only one way to reach at this temple is boat. The temple is a amazing place to observe and relax the holy rituals being carried out.

Thirdly, you will drive ahead to Peace Pagoda stupa. The Peace Pagoda stupa in Pokhara is an example of bliss and serenity. The Pagoda symbolizing its taintless nature and purity. It overlooks the Annapurna Mountains Range exactly reflects on the tranquil Fewa Lake. Peace Pagoda is a great place for a researcher for peace and silence. Peace Pagoda as the second must visitable site in the Pokhara valley according to TripAdvisor. The surrounding of the pagoda is intentionally made silent so as to preserve to indulge visitors in the art of meditation.

Similiarly, you will drive to Devid Falls. The David Falls is a small waterfall and there are nothing much enchanting or even appealing about the waterfall, except a few splashes there and here. To fully witness its lovely scene, one must visit it at the peak season of monsoon. During that time, the water tears through the rocky slopes and disappears down and hiding underground tunnel. The roaring noise of the rapids drowns the sound of humans and the splashing of the water demands either a raincoat or an umbrella.

After Lunch

Next, you will moving to the Gupteshwar Mahadev Cave. The Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave (Bhalu Dulo in the local tongue) is popular as one of the longest cave in Nepal. It exceed longer than 2000 mtr. The cave locate across David falls, and inside the cave, one can hear the thundering sound of water. As per the local beliefs, the cave was  found in the 16th century. During those times, there wasn’t any sort of modern-day decorations that you see today. The main entrance of the cave was only constructe in 1991 AD.

Finally, you have one place left to visit continuesly in International mountain museum. Nepal Mountaineering Association help to built the International mountain museum in Nepal. However, many international and national foundations, organizations, groups, and individuals have provide their support to make the museum what it is today. The museum was cordially inaugurate by on May 2002, by Ms. Junko Tabei from Japan and Appa Sherpa who are famous Everest summiteers. This museum was open to the public on 5 February 2014.

In conclusion, Nepal is the country that have houses of the highest peaks in the world, Mt. Everest (8848 m). Not only Everest, but there are numerous other mountains above 8000 mtr. The International Mountain Museum in Pokhara, tells the fable of the fellow climbers who had dared to conquer these peaks. The museum houses numerous artifacts and collage of pictures that depict life in the snowy regions of Nepal Himalayas.

At the end, visiting the International mountain museum you will be drop at your hotel in Pokhara and the day in Pokhara is complete.

The day Pokhara tour starts early in the morning and we will drive to Sarangkot hill station to view the sunrise view over the Himalayas then explore the Bindhyabasini Temple. Similarly, return to hotel and have a breakfast and continuesly go on tour to the Tal Barahi Temple, Peace stupa, Devid falls, Gupteshwar Cave and International mountain museum. we will drop you at hotel at the end of the day.

  • Visit Bindhyabasini temple.
  • Visit Tal Barahi temple and Peace stupa.
  • Visit Devi;s falls and Mahadev Cave.
  • Visit International mountain museum.

You start the Pokhara day tour very early in the morning as you drive to Sarangkot view point to see the sunrise view over the Himalayas. Sarangkot sits in the formerly known VDC of Pokhara in Kaski district, which was later added in the main city of Pokhara. Sarangkot is an amazing hill station in Nepal, which sits 5km from the Lakeside of Pokhara. It is the major destination for tourists, as it presents the picturesque views of the major mountains of the Annapurna region like Annapurna massif (8,091 m), Machhapuchhre (6,993 m), and Dhaulagiri (8,167 m).

After visiting the Sarangkot View, you will return to your hotel to have breakfast and you visit the Bindhyabasini temple on the way back to Hotel. The Bindhyabasini temple is dedicated to Goddess Bhagwati. The Goddess is a popular deity known throughout Hinduism, and generally referred to as Shakti. The temple is considered as one of the main Shaktipiths of western Nepal. If some myths are believed, then people say that this temple is directly related to the Vindhyachal temple that is in Uttar Pradesh, India. The temple is clad in white and during Dashain, pilgrims flock the temple and offer animal tributes to their guardian deity. The temple is a popular hub for marriage ceremony and Bratabandha as well. There is a big tree in the temple premises, which provides a calm environment to meditate and relax.

After having breakfast at hotel, you will visit the Tal Barahi Temple. You will go to the Tal Bahari Temple by taking boating ride as the Tal Bahari is located in Small Island in the middle of the Phewa Lake. The exterior of the Tal Barahi Temple includes a two-story pagoda structure with a Gajur on top. The Gajur is gilded with gold whereas the other structure is made of stones, and the temple has a thatched roof. Tal Barahi Temple is dedicated to Goddess Durga: Protector of Gods. The only way to visit this temple is by boat. The temple is a great place to relax and observe the holy rituals being carried out.

After visiting the Tal Bahari Temple, you will drive to Peace Pagoda stupa. The Peace Pagoda in Pokhara is an example of serenity and bliss. The Pagoda is perched on top of a small hill and is wonderfully draped in white, symbolizing its purity and taintless nature. It overlooks the Annapurna Mountains and simultaneously reflects on the tranquil Fewa Lake below. Peace Pagoda is a great place for wanderers who are in a search of peace and silence. Tripadvisor has ranked Peace Pagoda as the second must visit site in the Pokhara valley. This further solidifies the claim that the Peace Pagoda is a place that should be visited. The premises of the pagoda is intentionally made silent so as to preserve its tranquility and to indulge visitors in the art of meditation.

After Tour of Peace pagoda, you will drive to Devi;s Falls. The Davis Falls is a small waterfall and there is nothing much enchanting or even appealing about the waterfall, except a few splashes here and there. To fully witness its splendor, one must visit it at the peak of monsoon. During that time, the water tears through the rocky slopes and disappears down an underground tunnel. The roaring noise of the rapids drowns the sound of humans and the splashing of the water demands either a raincoat or an umbrella. The high waters don’t stop tourists from treading close to the water but tread too close and you might drown in it.

After touring around the devi’s fall, you will visit the Gupteshwar Mahadev Cave. The Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave (known in the local tongue as Bhalu Dulo) is recognized as one of the longest caves in Nepal with a length that exceeds 2,000 meters. The cave sits across Davi's fall, and inside the cave, one can hear the thundering sound of water. As per the local beliefs, the cave was said to be discovered in the 16th century. During those times, there wasn’t any sort of modern-day decorations that you see today. The main entrance of the cave was only constructed in 1991 AD.

After visiting the Cave, you have one place left to visit to visit that is International mountain museum. The International mountain museum in Nepal was built with the help of the Nepal Mountaineering Association. Many international and national organizations, groups, and individuals have provided their relentless support to make the museum what it is today. The museum was cordially inaugurated on May 2002, by famous Everest summiteers: Ms. Junko Tabei from Japan and Appa Sherpa from Nepal. The museum spreads on an area of 12.6 acres with a display area of more than 4200 sq.mt. This museum was open to the public on 5 February 2014.

Nepal has a strong presence throughout the world for being the country that houses the highest peaks in the world, Mt. Everest (8848 m). Throughout history, many have ventured into this small Himalayan nation with the hope and aspiration to conquer this mighty peak. Not only Everest, but there are numerous other 8000 meter plus mountains as well. Some climbers were successful whereas some were not. This is the sad story of a life that not all who go to war win. The International Mountain Museum in Pokhara, tells the fable of the fellow climbers who had dared to conquer these peaks. The museum houses numerous artifacts and collage of pictures that depict life in the snowy regions of Nepal Himalayas.

After visiting the International mountain museum you will be dropped at your hotel in Pokhara and the day in Pokhara is complete.

Things To Do In Pokhara In One Day

Day tours nepal.

  • Last Updated on Dec 25, 2023

Some travelers are confused about the fact that Pokhara is near Kathmandu and can be visited as a day trip. However, Pokhara is 210 kilometers from Kathmandu and takes 5–6 hours to reach by road. The windy roads in Nepal can make the journey longer, so it is not recommended to attempt a day trip from Kathmandu. If there is no traffic, it is even more unlikely that you will be able to see the sunset on the same day.

The quickest way to get to Pokhara is by plane, which takes only 25 minutes. Buddha Air and Yeti Air offer flights to Pokhara several times a day. You can contact us to book the best deals on flights to Pokhara.

Table of Contents

Mahendra Cave

If you are imagining that it's wow and something magical inside, then don't visit. Mahendra Cave is another cave that is similar to Gupteshowr Cave but bigger. Mahendra cave has stories behind it, so it's better to be with the guide, and it's known as the most interesting cave in Pokhara, Nepal. International Mountain Museum

If you want to learn and know how mountaineers climb mountains, then it's a worthwhile place to visit in Pokhara. Here you can get so much information about the ethnic groups, the major peaks, and the people who summited the Himalayas.

You can even enjoy boating in the Fewa Lakes and visit Tal Barahi Temple. Tal Barahi Temple is in the middle of the Fewa Lake. Mostly in this temple, many kinds of celebrations and activities happen, such as marriage, so it is worth visiting here. Rent a boat and sail around the lake. Another lake is Begnas, which is bigger and more famous, but people don't put it in their itinerary or even in blogs. This lake is a more quiet and beautiful lake in Pokhara. You will not see all the mountain reflections in this lake, but along the way to Begnas, you can see the Himalayan ranges. It's quite far, about 20 km, from Pokhara Lakeside, but a worthwhile place to visit.

Pokhara is the second most popular and influential tourist destination in Nepal. Its location is 210 km west of Kathmandu. The altitude of Pokhara is 884m above sea level with a mild climate. Pokhara is the wonderland, "the Switzerland of Nepal." The most popular destination to make your dream come true. A place of remarkable natural beauty. Pokhara is one of the most important destinations for international and domestic tourists. Pokhara is the second-largest city in terms of population after Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. Pokhara is home to the most important tourist places to visit, which will impress you with its great magnificence. It is endowed with distinctive and social heritage. Pokhara is not only known for its nature and cultural tour but also offers various adventure activities. Helicopter tours to Annapurna Base Camp, zip line flight in Pokhara (the most extreme zip line in the world), paragliding, and ultra-light flying are the best things to try.

Sarangkot is a fantastic hill station in Nepal with the best sunrise and Mountain views. Its location is 5 km away from the Shore of Pokhara Lake. It is the tourists' leading destination as it presents the picturesque view of the prominent mountains of the Annapurna region, such as Annapurna massif, Machhapuchhre, and Dhaulagiri. You can see a small village just below the viewpoint, which sits atop an old fort. It is also the best place for paragliding to fly over the clear sky.

Places you can visit on the Pokhara tour

Devis Waterfall (Patalae Chango)

Devis Waterfall, Known locally as Patale Chango, is an impressive waterfall located about 2 km southwest of Pokhara Airport on Tansen Road. A charming modern legend has it that a foreigner, Mr David, bathed naked in the Pardi Khola (river). The tide came out of the wet and washed him into an underground passage under the waterfall, never to see him again.

Gupteswar Mahadev Cave

After visiting Davis Falls, we leave the road and drive down to see the amazing caves. It is one of the sacred lakes in Pokhara. The entrance distance from Devi waterfall and the cave is almost 3 km. It has an extensive area inside; you can see small temples, and the locals seem to pray here often. This cave has a unique value for Hindus as a phallic symbol of Lord Shiva. You have to pay 5 rupees as an entrance fee. You are not allowed to take pictures in the cave.

Bindhyabasini Temple

Bindhyabasini Hindu temple is a centre of religious activities in the old bazaar. It is the temple of Goddess Bhagwati, another manifestation of Shakti. Devotees come here to make offerings, and, especially on Saturdays, the park-like grounds become a festive fair. It is the best temple to visit on our day trip to Pokhara.

World Peace Pagoda

It is a huge Buddhist stupa standing on a hill on the southern shore of Lake Phewa. The Buddhist monks of the Japanese organization Nipponzan Myohoji built the peace pagoda. Apart from being an impressive sight in itself, the shrine offers spectacular views of the Annapurna mountain range, Lake Phewa, and the city of Pokhara from an elevated point.

Seti Gorges

We visited this place on our trip to Pokhara. Carved by the Seti-Gandaki, the Seti River gorges are among the best places to see in Pokhara. The river has carved a deep and narrow gorge through the city's centre, turning the milky water in the process. It is just north of Old Pokhara, near the Gurkha Museum. You will observe the perfect view of the river's scary flow and the deep gorge created by the white water's turbulent flow.

International Mountain Museum

The International Mountain Museum is about 3 kilometres southeast of Lakeside Pokhara. The museum is accessible by bus and car. It will take you half an hour if you prefer to walk, while it will take you only 10 minutes by car. For those who need a scenic taste of the beautiful roadside, we recommend that you walk. About 70,000 people visit this museum every year. They are amazed by the numerous exhibits of famous peaks, the culture and way of life of people living in the mountains, and plants and animals' biological composition.

Meals: Breakfast

Day 03: Drive or fly back to Kathmandu.

Today after breakfast, drive or fly back to Kathmandu and visit the remaining places in Kathmandu. You will have breakfast at the hotel in the early morning, and our guide will drive you to Kathmandu.

15 days (multiple entries) 25 USD

30 days (multiple entries) 50 USD

90 days (multiple entries) 125 USD

Visa extension (within the period of validity of the visa) 3 USD per day

Visa extension (for multiple entries) additional 25 USD

Visa extension (after visa expiration) a late fee of 5 USD per day.

Your passport validity must be for at least six months at the time of entry.

There must be a blank visa page in the passport.

Regular tourist visas:

Those arriving by air, the visa must be applied at the Nepalese Embassy or Consulate before entry or purchased directly upon arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu. Note: Obtaining the visa on arrival may take some time. When foreigners enter Nepal by land via the Indian border at Belahia, and Nepalese visa fee must pay in U.S. dollars.

Entry into Nepal without a visa and proper entry stamp from an immigration officer is restricted, which carries additional consequences.

In most parts of Nepal, roads are in poor condition and lack of safety features. Mountain roads, in particular, are prone to blockages due to landslides and erosion during the monsoon season. These conditions result in a large number of accidents and fatalities. Traffic congestion is a significant problem for people living in large cities. Several incidents of traffic violations have been recorded in Kathmandu and other major cities. Many drivers do not have proper training and driving licenses but still drive on the roads. Be alert and avoid getting into such a vehicle.

To drive a two- or four-wheeled vehicle in Nepal, you must have the appropriate license for that vehicle. Otherwise, you have to pay the penalty according to the Highway Code. We suggest that you do not expose yourself to any trouble during your stay in Nepal.

Excursions with overnight stay:

The roads outside Kathmandu Valley are not adequately lit, and the roads' condition is not good. So it is safe if you avoid travelling outside Kathmandu during the night.

Motorcycle tours:

Know the speed limit of motorcycles and observe the safety measures when riding a motorcycle in Nepal. The number of fatal motorcycle accidents has increased drastically throughout Nepal in recent years. Never forget to wear a helmet and protective gear and not ride the motorcycles with more than one person.

Buses and Cabs:

If you must travel by bus, we recommend choosing to travel during the day rather than overnight due to the abnormal road conditions in most rural areas. Long-distance travel can be exhausting, and you may want to ride on the roofs of buses for some adventure. Never ride on dangerous rooftops to avoid accidents and traffic police, as depending on rooftops is against the Highway Code.

Cab rides are much more expensive than bus rides but can be safer and more convenient. All cabs have meters, but cab drivers do not usually charge by the meter. It is best to negotiate the fare before you get into the taxi; otherwise, the taxi driver may overcharge. If you feel you have been cheated, you can contact the traffic police in the nearby street or the local police station and file a complaint.

How much time do I need in Pokhara?

Pokhara is easy to reach from Kathmandu. You can stay one day and come back or stay longer, but we recommend you to spend at least 5-6 days to enjoy every moment in Pokhara.

How to get to Pokhara?

You can travel to Pokhara either by bus or by plane. Both are easy.

How long does the bus ride from Kathmandu to Pokhara take?

Approx. 6-7 hours

A bus ride from Kathmandu to Pokhara is said to take about 6-7 hours, although we have never verified this. On average, the travel time is at least 7-8 hours.

How long does it take to get from Kathmandu to Pokhara by flight?

If you take a flight from Kathmandu, it takes about 25 minutes to reach Pokhara.

Where can I go hiking in Pokhara?

Pokhara is the gateway to Annapurna. Therefore, you can trek to Annapurna Ghorepani, Poonhill, Ghandruk, Dhampus, etc.

The best short hike in Pokhara are as below

• Pokhara to Dhampus with an overnight stay in an Australian camp

• Hike from Australian camp to Dhampus and Sarangkot

• Hike from Sarangkot to Pokhara

• Shanti Stupa Day Hike

• Sarangkot Naudanda Day Hike

What is the weather like in Pokhara?

Pokhara is a beautiful city with a perfect climate. However, there may be rains from time to time, as it is Nepal's rainiest city.

What can you do in Pokhara?

Pokhara is a popular tourist destination and a gateway to Annapurna. Pokhara is the best city to explore, from trekking to other activities. Here is the list of things to do in Pokhara: - Boating on Phewa Lake - Mountain and sunrise view from Sarangkot - Visit the famous David Waterfalls, Gupteshwor Cave, and Mahendra Cave - Short trekking, meditation, and yoga at the World Peace Pagoda - Paragliding, zip line, and bungee jumping. - Trek to Annapurna region - One-day trekking - Hot air balloon ride.

When is the best time to travel to Pokhara?

In Pokhara, you can travel all year round, but March, April, May, September, October, and November are the coolest and perfect seasons.

Is it possible to travel to Pokhara alone?

Yes, it is possible to travel to Pokhara alone as it is close to Kathmandu. However, if you travel with a guide, your trip will be more safe and enjoyable

Excellent Trip

Kishor and his trekking company organized my first trip to Nepal. I could not have asked for better organization of my visit to Kathmandu, Chitwan, Pokhara, and the 5-day trek through Poonhill and the foothills of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna. Everything went well, and it was a great experience. I would highly recommend Kishor's service and give a big thank you to him and his experts' team.

by Ashley Bowhay, Australia

An unforgettable visit to Nepal

Mr Kishor and his team very well organized our trip. He is very polite, humble, and punctual. We never had to follow up on anything. We had all our pickups and drop-offs well organized. We stayed at his recommended hotel, booked by him, and our stay there was very comfortable, and they took care a lot. We did the Everest flight in Kathmandu and Paragliding in Pokhara, both fantastic; we also visited the Pashupatinath Temple and the Peace Stupa, all well organized by Kishor. Overall we had a great experience with the right mix of adventure, pilgrimage, and fun in the city. I highly recommend this company for your travel arrangements.

by Loren J. Aguilar, USA

We enjoyed our trip fullest and without stress.

We are very grateful to Mr Kishor and his team for arranging a wonderful trip and a memorable vacation for my family in May 2018. I decided to go to Nepal at the last minute, but Kishor helps me make a good itinerary with all the experiences we were looking for. We took the flight to Mount Everest from Kathmandu, which was a great surprise for my kids.

Our trip included Kathmandu and Pohara with a short hike to Ghandruk, where we stayed one night in a local tea house. It was a perfect balance of activities during our trip. The whole trip went smoothly, thanks to Rabin, our excellent trek guide. We were stress-free and thoroughly enjoyed the trip. We will be back for our next vacation and have already recommended them to family and friends.
