But the real reason travelers love Chileno's cream-colored shore is the lack of noisy bars and restaurants that plague other Los Cabos beaches. However, this does mean that you'll have to come prepared with your own snacks and drinks and rely on public facilities (showers, toilets and rental umbrellas are on-site). Most travelers don't seem to mind these small inconveniences and say the impressive snorkeling conditions (and variety of colorful fish) make a trip here well worth it.

Chileno Beach is easily (and affordably) accessible by bus from both Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo . Some visitors recommend arriving by car if you don't want to do a lot of walking and waiting in the heat for the bus. They also note that there is plenty of nearby parking. You don't have to pay to lay claim to this prime beach real estate, and although there are no set hours of operation, travelers recommend getting there early in the morning to beat the crowds.

If you're tired of the beach or if you've had your fill of margaritas, head to the Iglesia de San Lucas ( Church of Saint Luke), located a short jaunt – about a half-mile – from the marina. The landmark is the main church in Cabo San Lucas and an excellent place to view local architecture as well as observe local traditions by attending a service. Recent visitors said the church is lovely and worth a visit for the Mass at noon on Sundays. Keep in mind, the majority of the service will be celebrated in Spanish.

Amazing experience! Diving in Cabo Pulmo was truly incredible. So many fish, beautiful rock formations and the crown jewel multiple bullsharks! I experienced an expectable mix of excitement and anxiety before doing the dive (my first with bullsharks) but the obvious experience of the dive master really put me at ease. His instructions were clear, calm, and friendly. Glad to have seen these awesome animals and I would recommend this tour for anyone!

My partner and I went on a bull shark dive with Tours Cabo, it was amazing! We saw 3 bull sharks at a dive site at Cabo Pulmo. Diving with bull sharks was always on our bucketlist so it was so cool when it finally happend! The dive master gave us clear instructions before the dive so it felt safe and it was a relaxed dive. We would definitely recommend doing this dive. We also did a second dive at a coral reef, which was amazing! We saw several moray eels hunting out in the open, and big schools of fish. So if you’re in the area of Cabo, go dive with Tours Cabo!
