Τουρισμός για όλους με ή χωρίς viva wallet: πώς ενεργοποιείται η κάρτα.

Με άυλη ψηφιακή κάρτα πιστώνονται τα χρήματα του « Τουρισμός για Όλους » τις επόμενες μέρες. Ακόμα, οι αιτήσεις στην πλατφόρμα vouchers.gov.gr είναι ανοιχτές για όλα τα ΑΦΜ. Θα ακολουθήσουν οι προσωρινοί πίνακες και έπειτα η κλήρωση για όσους τελικά θα πάρουν τα 150 και 200 ευρώ. Για να μπορέσουν οι δικαιούχοι να εξαργυρώσουν την κάρτα, θα πρέπει το κινητό τους να διαθέτει τεχνολογία NFC-ανέπαφων συναλλαγών. Το άνοιγμα Viva Wallet λογαριασμού είναι προαιρετικό .

Τι κάνετε μετά την αίτηση στο «Τουρισμός για Όλους»

Εφόσον λάβετε την ενημέρωση μέσω email και SMS ότι η κάρτα σας είναι έτοιμη, ακολουθήστε τα παρακάτω βήματα για να μπορέσετε να τη δείτε μέσα στην πλατφόρμα της Viva Wallet.

Αν δεν έχετε λογαριασμό Viva Wallet:

• Επιλέξτε στο email που λάβατε το σύνδεσμο «Ενεργοποίησε το Τουρισμός για όλους Pass σου»
• Δημιουργήστε τον κωδικό πρόσβασης σας ο οποίος θα πρέπει να αποτελείται από 5 έως 16 χαρακτήρες, να περιέχει τουλάχιστον ένα ψηφίο (1-9) και έναν ειδικό χαρακτήρα (π.χ. !@#$%^*).
• Καταχωρήστε ξανά τον κωδικό πρόσβασης για επιβεβαίωση
• Καταχωρήστε τον κωδικό που λάβατε μέσω SMS στο κινητό σας τηλέφωνο και επιλέξτε Επιβεβαίωση

• Επιλέξτε στο email που λάβατε το σύνδεσμο «Δες το Τουρισμός για όλους Pass σου»
• Πραγματοποιήστε είσοδο με το κινητό σας τηλέφωνο και το password σας
• Επιλέξτε την ένδειξη Tourismos For All Pass

Πού μπορείτε να ξοδέψετε τα 150 ευρώ

Το διαθέσιμο υπόλοιπό σας θα πρέπει να χρησιμοποιηθεί μέχρι την ολοκλήρωση του προγράμματος στις 30/06/23. Μετά το πέρας του ανωτέρου χρονικού διαστήματος, η άυλη ψηφιακή χρεωστική κάρτα απενεργοποιείται και οποιοδήποτε υπολειπόμενο ποσό επιστρέφεται στο φορέα.

Μπορείτε να το χρησιμοποιήσετε σε ξενοδοχειακές επιχειρήσεις / καταλύματα και campings .

Τι γίνεται μετά την αίτηση

Υπενθυμίζεται πως αίτηση για το Πρόγραμμα μπορούν να υποβάλουν πολίτες με ατομικό εισόδημα έως 16.000 ευρώ και οικογενειακό εισόδημα έως 28.000 ευρώ, ποσό που προσαυξάνεται για κάθε παιδί.

Στις αιτήσεις δεν τηρείται χρονική προτεραιότητα, ενώ οι τελικοί δικαιούχοι του Προγράμματος θα αναδειχθούν με ηλεκτρονική κλήρωση μεταξύ των δικαιούχων που θα έχουν υποβάλει αίτηση.

Viva Wallet: The history of the Greek Neobank and its path to the top of fintech

If there is one company in the domestic fintech space that can be characterized as an eminently success story , that is Viva Wallet . The Greek Neobank , with innovation, technology and the vision of its founder Haris Karonis as a vehicle, managed to become a leader not only in the Greek electronic payments market but also one of the most important players in the global fintech , gaining great support in foreign markets.Of course, the undeniable business success of the Viva Wallet project is confirmed by the big names that have entrusted Viva Wallet’s vision for the payments of the new era. Tencent , Breyer Capital and just recently the giant JP Morgan are just some of the big players that have invested large sums in Viva Wallet.

Viva Wallet is the first European Neobank to have a Microsoft Azure Cloud infrastructure with branches in 23 countries in Europe with over 600 employees. It mainly provides services in 19 different languages and payments in 10 currencies.

At the same time, Viva Wallet is an official member of Visa and Mastercard for acquiring and issuing services. Viva Wallet provides businesses of all sizes with payment acceptance services through the innovative Viva Wallet POS application , the add-on Google Play devices and through the sophisticated payment gateway in online stores.It also offers business accounts with a local IBAN and a Mastercard business debit card.

Viva Wallet Holdings holds a Greek banking license ( VIVABANK SA) and an electronic money institution license from the Bank of Greece, in accordance with the provisions of the PSD II Directive for activities in the EEA-31 region and the United Kingdom.Its history is rich and the changes that have occurred are many, always managing to maintain a successful course and a big name.

In 2000, Haris Karonis, founder of Viva Wallet, founded Realize SA, which initially became active as a software company, providing online solutions and systems based on banking transactions, as well as transactions of airlines and telecommunication providers in Greece and Southeastern Europe.

In 2006, Viva Electronic Services ( Viva.gr ) was founded against the backdrop of the VOIP (Voice Over IP) industry and later travel services, while in 2010 the expansion in the market of electronic tickets for entertainment, sports events, etc. followed. The Viva.gr soon becomes one of the leaders in the Greek e-ticket market.

Later, in 2011, Haris Karonis and Makis Antipas founded Viva Payments , which is licensed as a payment institution for the European Economic field.

The evolution of Viva Wallet, of course, does not stop here. In 2014, the company acquires an Electronic Money Foundation License and announces the completion of the Series A funding round, headed by the Latsis family office.

Then, in 2015, Realize SA was renamed Viva Wallet and became the parent company for all Viva companies. Viva Wallet is building its own infrastructure and is starting to work with Microsoft to become the first European cloud-based payment provider , specifically in Microsoft Azure .

Two years later, Viva Wallet becomes the Principal Member of Visa and Mastercard for the provision of services and thus begins to gain control of the entire value chain of electronic payments throughout Europe.

A year later, Viva Wallet opens its first branches, in Belgium and the United Kingdom , while at the same time completing a Series B funding round of 15 million euros.

From 2011 to 2018, the founders of Viva Wallet reinvested a total of 19 million euros to the company through retained profits.

In 2019, Viva Wallet continued its European expansion plan, establishing offices in many European countries, including the Netherlands, Portugal, France and Romania.

By the end of the year, Viva Wallet has managed to open branches in 15 countries and has expanded the services offered which now include card acceptance and issuance services as well as local IBAN accounts. In the same year, Viva Wallet announced a Round C funding round, led by Hedosophia, totalling 75 million euros, which was completed after six months.

In 2020 , Viva Wallet expands its services to 23 other European countries . On August 3, the company announces the acquisition of Praxia Bank’s banking license , following the completion of the share purchase agreement between AMC Oak (Shareholder) and Viva Wallet Holdings (buyer).

Makis Antipas, CIO and Co-founder of Viva Wallet is appointed CEO of the new Vivabank . Vivabank’s goal is to increase the group’s services by providing credit services to European merchants.

Despite the coronavirus outbreak, Viva Wallet has managed to keep its growth path undiminished, with a percentage exceeding 15% on a monthly basis, mainly as a result of its widespread European footprint and its ability to provide e-commerce and exclusively digital payment products to businesses across Europe.

By the end of 2020, the total capital raised by the company reaches 95 million euros, of which 19 million come from investments by the investors themselves, while 76 million come from Series A, B and C funding rounds and investors.

The big acquisition by JP Morgan

Last year, Viva Wallet raised 80 million euros with the participation of recognised companies and organisations such as Tencent, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and Breyer Capital. That same year, the company launched the Viva Wallet POS app , an innovative payment solution that disrupted the entire payments market , turning Android mobile devices into card terminals.

Over the years, Viva Wallet has developed its own leading technological infrastructure , utilizing and believing in the ability of Greek engineers, many of whom returned from abroad after the financial crisis.

Viva Wallet invests dynamically in research and development in Greece and will continue to invest heavily, believing in new talents.

Finally, JPMorgan , the major American giant, recently proceeded to acquire 48.5% of Viva Wallet.

Specifically, as mentioned, Jamie Dimon informed the Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis that JPMorgan intends to expand its office in Greece, invest in Viva Wallet and attract high-level staff to the country.

Viva Wallet wins votes of confidence and attracts large investors, constantly developing its capabilities and investment plans.

Ventrata chooses Viva Wallet as payment service provider

Ventrata, a company that provides all-in-one ticketing systems for day-tour operators, attractions, museums and hop on/hop off tours with contactless booking, payment, and check-in solutions, has partnered with Viva Wallet, the European neobank with branches in 23 countries.

The partnership currently entails a collaboration in U.K., France, Spain, Portugal, Austria, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Greece, Ireland, and Cyprus. Ventrata picked Viva Wallet’s card terminals to ensure that their customers will provide tour and attractions visitors seamless on-site ticketing and payment services. Ventrata has successfully integrated their booking/ticketing application to Viva Wallet’s mobile terminals allowing their clients to accept on-the-go bookings, print tickets, and get paid by using only one device.

With over Viva Wallet’s 600 card terminals already in the hands of tour operators in U.K. and EU, Ventrata CEO & Founder, Oliver Morgan said: ‘’Viva wallet terminals have been key to our expansion across Europe and combined with our proprietary Android App we have been able to provide our customers with an industry-leading solution for mobile point of sale.  We look forward to growing our partnership to ensure we meet the increasing demand for electronic payment options by tourists across Europe. ”

Moscow metro to be more tourist-friendly

For many years now, Moscow has lagged behind St. Petersburg when it comes to making life easy for tourists, especially where getting around the city is concerned. Whereas the northern capital installed English-language maps, signs and information points throughout its subway system in the late 2000s, the Russian capital’s metro remained a serious challenge for foreign visitors to navigate.

Recent visitors to Moscow may have noticed some signs that change is afoot, however. In many stations of the Moscow subway, signs have appeared on the floor – with large lettering in Russian and English – indicating the direction to follow in order to change lines. Previously, foreign visitors using the Moscow metro had to rely solely upon deciphering the Russian-language signs hanging from the ceilings.

However, this new solution has a significant drawback. “The floor navigation is visible only to a small stream of people – fewer than three people per meter. During peak hours, this navigation will simply not be noticed,” said Konstantin Trofimenko, Director of the Center for Urban Transportation Studies.

One of the biggest problems for tourists in the Russian capital remains the absence of English translations of the names of subway stations in the station vestibules and on platforms. The Department of Transportation in Moscow has not commented yet as to when this problem will be solved. However, Latin transliterations of station names can already be found in the subway cars themselves.

Finding the right exit

At four of the central stations – Okhotny Ryad, Teatralnaya, Ploshchad Revolyutsii, Lubyanka and Kuznetsky Most – the city authorities have now installed colorful stands at the exits with schematic diagrams of the station’s concourse and surrounding area, which provide information about the main attractions and infrastructural facilities.

The schematic diagrams are the work of British specialists from the City ID and Billings Jackson Design firms, who have already implemented successful projects in New York and London.

According to Alexei Novichkov, expert at the Design Laboratory at the Higher School of Economics, the design of these information booths raises no objections: The color solutions, font, layout and icons are consistent with international standards.

However, the stands do have some shortcomings. “Many questions are raised about the fact that the developers of these maps did not apply orientation to the north, and have provided layouts of the surrounding areas with respect to the exits,” says Novichkov. “A system like that is used for road navigators, but most of the ‘paper’ guides and maps are oriented strictly to north. The subway map is also oriented to north, so people may become confused.”

Muscovites and foreign visitors are generally positive about these navigation elements, with most of them citing the numbered exits from the subway as the most useful feature.

The fact is that many Moscow subway stations have several exits. One of the busiest central stations of the Moscow subway in particular, Kitay-Gorod, has more than a dozen exits. Previously, these exits were differentiated from each other only with signs in Russian referring to the names of streets and places of interest to which they led – making it easy for tourists and those with poor navigation skills to get confused.

Now, when making an appointment to meet a friend, instead of struggling to find the right spot when they tell you: “I'll meet you at the exit to Solyanka Street,” you can just propose to meet under a specific exit number.

“I’ve lived in Moscow for seven years,” says Angelika, a designer from Voronezh, “but I still don’t always know where to go to find the place I need, so the new schematic diagrams will be very useful. Previously, some subway stations had maps, but not with so much detail.”

Teething problems

Foreigners, meanwhile, focus their attention on other elements. “It is good that the new information boards have QR-codes, which can be ‘read’ by smartphones,” says Florentina, a writer from Vienna. But there are also shortcomings. “The English font of the information on posters and in the captions to theaters and museums is too small – you have to come very close to see it well,” she says.

Pleasant encounters on the streets of Moscow

Florentina was also dissatisfied with the fact that such posters are not provided at all subway stations: “When I was trying to find Tsaritsyno Park (a museum and reserve in the south of Moscow) at a subway station with the same name, it turned out to be quite difficult,” she says.

“There are no maps with landmarks for other areas, such as those already in the city center. There were no clear pointers in the English language, and the passers-by I met did not speak in English, so they could not help me,” she adds.

Officials say that the navigation system is gradually being redeveloped and improved. According to Darya Chuvasheva, a press representative for the Department of Transport of Moscow, the introduction of a unified navigation system will take place in stages.

“By the end of 2014, the system will first appear on the first subway stations on the Circle Line. By the end of 2015, we plan to install the system at all major stopping points, subway stations and transport interchange hubs,” says Chuvasheva.
