Provided Morning tea, Lunch, Afternoon tea and a brand new Catamaran to take the adventure out from 1770 Marina to Lady Musgrave Island being approximately a 1.5 hour trip.

1770 Marina is the closest Port to the Island making it an enjoyable and relaxing day out at the reef.

1770 - Agnes Water private charter boat for a day of fishing and snorkelling the reef with 8 guests onboard. Catch the fish in the morning and relax in the afternoon snorkelling amongst the corals and marine life

Our full day private charter fishing tour and snorkel tours begin from the 1770  Marina Jetty which is located at 535 Captain Cook Drive, Seventeen Seventy and just a 5 minute drive outside Agnes Water . 

Guests make their own way to the marina and there is plenty of free parking on both sides of the road and marina.

We cater for 8 guests on our private charter boat tours out to fish and snorkel the Southern Great Barrier Reef year round. 

The charter boat is a 10m Cougar Cat with twin Cummins diesel inboards coupled with Bravo2 stern drives, a toilet-shower and the aft deck is covered by a full deck canopy to keep you in the shade when needed and there is plenty of comfortable seating for 8 guests. 

Our charter boats departure times are tide dependant because we need enough water to cross the bar at the entrance of the creek, but we usually aim to get away early in the morning around 6.00am and return late in the afternoon around 4.00pm. 

Agnes Water and Seventeen Seventy have the most amazing fishing grounds on the Southern Great Barrier Reef and some of the species you can expect to catch are Coral Trout, Sweetlip, Red Emperor ans Spanish Mackeral to mention a few. All of these are high quality table fish in Australia and highly prized in international markets.

When you are done with catching your prize fish for dinner it's time to put on the snorkel gear and cool off in the clear waters of the Great Barrier Reef to enjoy snorkelling and swimming amongst the corals and marine life.

During the months of June to September 1770 is the place to spot migrating humpback whales which give most visitors a thrill especially when they pop up beside the boat unexpectantly.

There is no need to bring along your own fishing gear or snorkel gear as we have it all provided for you. All you need is to bring along some personal items to protect you from the sun and some lunch and alcoholic drinks (to be consumed after snorkelling only).

By all means you can bring your own fishing gear if you are keen and the same goes with your snorkel gear.

Duty of Care

During our safety brief before we leave the jetty, anyone that has any pre-existing conditions or medications will be asked to notify us. 1770 Creek2Reef will not be responsible for any non-disclosure should an incident arise.

The skipper has the right to refuse any person on board that is intoxicated prior to the commencement of the charter.

30% deposit at time of booking

Balance payable 14 days before departure.

We will reconfirm the day/night before by text msg or email whether the charter will proceed.

If the weather is deemed unsuitable by us or the minimum amount of people to fill a charter has not been met, then a full refund will be made.

If the minimum amount of people requirement is not fulfilled, then 1 days notice shall be given to either change the date or receive a full refund.

CANCELLATIONS

If you need to cancel for any reason, please notify us as soon as possible so that we can try and fill your place on the charter.

If your place is filled you will receive a refund.

100% cancellation fee applies if cancelled less than 2 days prior to departure.
