One thing I love about DIY animal costumes is that my kids use them all year long for pretend play. I’m totally ok spending extra time making DIY costumes knowing the costume will be enjoyed all year round. If you have an animal lover on your hands, this list of 37 DIY animal costumes for kids and adults covers all the bases from farm animal costumes to zoo animal costumes and everything in between. Oh and I love the idea of a group family zoo costume! Anyone?

Farm Animal Costumes

Use a farm theme for a family costume or a trunk or treat idea. Adults can go as farmers with overalls and red bananas and then pick a few of these animal costumes for the kids. Or if you have a tractor lover on your hands, this cardboard box tractor costume is a fun one too!

Does it get any cuter than a baby chicken? The answer is no! This DIY chicken costume was made with 2 white feather boas and 2 sets of yellow rubber gloves. For more details, check out Living the Swell Life .

All you need for a bunny costume is a white leotard, a white tutu, and bunny ears! My daughter insisted on carrying am Easter basket as her candy bag and told everyone she was the Easter Bunny! (Here is the white leotard and bunny accessories my daughter is wearing.)

Zoo Animal Costumes

8. flamingo.

This pink flamingo costume might be my favorite animal costume on the list! All you need are pink boas, felt, sheets of foam, and a hot glue gun! For a step by step tutorial, check out this DIY flamingo costume post.

This panda bear baby costume is super simple to make and involves very little sewing. You can ditch the sewing for hot glue if you’d like! Check out C.R.A.F.T. for the DIY panda bear costume .

10. Crocodile

Turn a long narrow cardboard box into a crocodile head with this simple tutorial from Evil Mad Scientist .

13. Elephant

This elephant costume was specifically made to look like Gerald from Piggie and Elephant. My family loves that duo so much we made Elephant and Piggie pumpkins last year! 15. Giraffe

Under the Sea Costumes

This DIY shark costume is made out of a large piece of cardboard and spray paint. I attached a reusable grocery bag handle to the back of the shark so my son could easily hold the shark. Click here for more DIY shark costume  details.

17. Jellyfish

A clear umbrella with streamers or ribbons attached is the key to this adorable DIY jellyfish costume made by Mariah from Giggles Galore.

18. Octopus

It doesn’t get much cuter than a baby octopus costume and I love that this one is made with knee socks!

Bird costumes

From a pigeon to a peacock… this list of bird animal costumes has it all. (Minus a penguin, I want to make a penguin costume!)

You can make the cutest little DIY pigeon costume with a paper plate and a mint colored dress! Best part? It will take you less than 3 minutes to paint and put together.

20. Chicken

This chicken costume for kids  is extra special if your kiddo who loves the book, Interrupting Chicken ! It’s also super easy to make. All you need is a cardboard box and paint.

21. Peacock

DIY Animal Costumes

23. Hedgehog

Alida Makes sewed the cutest toddler hedgehog costume I’ve ever seen. I love that it’s warm and comfortable too. This is one of those costumes that will get used all year long!

25. DIY Koala costume

Adult animal costumes

This awesome Fox costume can likely be put together with clothes from your closet or thrift store. You will need to DIY a mask and tail. This costume was originally found What I Wore tumblr which has since been transitioned into Stars + Field .

27. Goldfish

Here’s a costume idea! When I was a kid, for Halloween, me and my sister dressed up as two strong, cunning spiders and our friend dressed up as a fly we had caught. He let us wrap white string around him. It was fun pretending to be strong girl spiders that had caught him in our web. We kept singing Itsy Bitsy Spider and tickling him. It was so fun! He had fun pretending to be caught by two cunning girl spiders!

Easy to Make Jungle-Themed Costumes

Jungle-themed costumes are easy to make and can take many forms: Jungle animals, safari-inspired gear, Tarzan and Jane, and Indian Jones. All of these costumes can be whipped together with what you have on hand and are suitable for men, women and children. Creating a jungle-themed look takes only four steps.

Things You'll Need

Khaki colored basic clothing you have on hand (pants or tights, shirt, vest and/or skirt)

Any solid tan, brown or black belts

Anything in your closet with an animal print on it

Scarves in colors to match the jungle theme you choose from the list below

Headband (animals), straw hat (safari) or leather hat (Indiana)

Felt (to make ears)

Knee-high stocking for creating a tail (animal)

Batting or cotton balls to stuff tail

Two toilet paper rolls (safari)

Long stick (Tarzan spear)

Dark colored cord or yarn

Face paints

Cord, yarn or decorative duct tape

Safety pins

Shoes or boots in matching color

For Jungle Animal Costumes

The jungle animal costumes are fun. Start by deciding which animal you'd like to be. The key elements of any animal costume are tail, makeup and ears -- each obviously determined by the animal of choice . The most popular costumes are large cats (jaguar, cougar, leopard and tiger) and primates (monkey, chimpanzee and gorilla). Choose an animal, and start with a basic color. Leggings and a long-sleeve shirt work well for animal costumes. Anything you have in an animal print can be useful too for draping, belting and tying. Make a tail by stuffing a knee-high stocking full of batting or cotton balls and then tying a knot in the end. Attach to your costume with a belt or a safety pin. Make ears from felt and attach to a headband. Alternatively wear a hooded sweatshirt and attach ears to the hood with safety pins.

For Safari Costumes

Safari costumes require khaki colored clothes, a vest, a hat and a pair of binoculars. The hat should be a lightweight straw or hiking hat. Make binoculars by taping two toilet paper tubes together. Use a scissors to put a small hole in the sides of the two tubes and string yarn through so that you can wear them around your neck.

For Tarzan and Jane Costumes

The Tarzan and Jane costumes require the least amount of clothing! Tarzan can get by with a simple loin cloth, preferably in an animal print. Jane can wear an animal print skirt or a simple wrap of fabric around the waist and a wrapped bandeau for a top. Hold a long animal print scarf or piece of fabric out in front of you. Cover across your breasts, cross in the back and bring back around the front finishing by tying around the neck. Use a stick as a spear.

For Indiana Jones Costumes

The Indiana Jones look is an easy one. Stick with the basic khaki and leather theme. Khaki pants. Khaki shirt. Leather belt. Vest if you have one. You could throw in a neck scarf. The two most important elements of the Indiana Jones costume are the hat and the whip. A leather hat is perfect, but any brown colored hat will do. Make a whip from a long strip of leather or cord. Put the end inside an empty toilet paper tube. Fold the tube in half tightly around the cord and apply a heavy layer of tape. If you have brown tape, perfect. If not, clear tape will do. Simply wrap it tightly and then also wrap a layer of yarn or a scarf around the handle to hide the tape.

Step 1: Choose a Focus

Look through your closet to help pick one of the above four themes.

Step 2: Assemble the Basic Costume Layer

From your wardrobe, assemble the basic layer. This is the layer on which everything else will be based. Here look for pants, leggings or skirts for the bottom half and shirts and sweatshirts for the top half.

Step 3: Accessorize Your Costume

This is the most important step, and it gives your costume the key details to stand out. For animals: Make ears and a tail. For the safari ensemble: Use a hat, binoculars and perhaps a leather strap slung from left to right from shoulder to waist. For Tarzan and Jane: Cut jagged edges in the ends of your fabric and consider carrying a makeshift spear. For the Indiana Jones look: Find a hat and make a whip.

Step 4: Apply Face Paint or Makeup

The animal costumes require more makeup, specifically whiskers, a nose and highlighted eyes. The other costumes require enough basic makeup to draw attention to your costume.

Whether you’re going to the Australian outback, the Sahara desert, or to your sister-in-law’s themed party, knowing a few solid safari outfit ideas can only benefit you.

So, in this article, I’m going to teach you how to put together some safari outfits—that way you’ll look less like a tourist and more like a tour guide.

What Makes Up A Safari Outfit?

Safari outfit ideas are largely based on the climate that you’ll be exploring. Since most safaris take place in extremely warm or humid locations, you’ll want to consider wearing khaki items .

That’s because the material doesn’t attract too much sunlight so it won’t make you overheat.

Other pieces you may want to include in your safari outfit ideas are:

History Of Safaris

Before I tell give you more safari outfit ideas, let’s learn about the history of safaris. 

The first documented safari, or what we would call a safari, was in 1836 . William Cornwallis Harris, an English hunter, began the practice as a way to observe flora, fauna, and animals from a peaceful distance.

The goal was not to interact with the wildlife (shocking, given Harris’ hunting proficiency) but to study it.

Harris’ methodology involved getting up early, lots of movement throughout the day to see as many of the animals as possible, and a nightly dinner to review everything he and his fellow safari men saw that day.

This format is still used today but it’s far from the only one. For example, Newland & Tarlton Ltd. invented luxury tented safaris , which is another variation that’s safer for the participants while costing them much more.

What Are Some Popular Safari Outfit Ideas?

Safari outfit ideas tend to be pretty similar since they usually consist of a combination of athletic wear and relaxed-fitting khaki clothing.

You’ll often find that the outfits are pretty uniform when it comes to color because they’re built to repel sunlight . This is the case whether you’re looking for safari outfit men’s looks or safari outfit women’s styles.

My first safari outfit idea involves probably the darkest colors I’d recommend wearing if you’re going on an actual safari. However, if you want a safari-theme outfit for a party then this is a great look. 

It has everything you could want in a safari outfit—the baggy fits, earthy tones, and relaxed materials. However, the ensemble has a distinctive fashionista’s flair.

This is a much more conventional safari guide outfit that’d actually serve you well in the field. I adore the one-piece that retains its shape thanks to the belt. However, this look is all about the accessories.

Of course, you’ll want your accessories to be functional when you’re on a safari expedition because you don’t want to lug around unnecessary weight.

So keep that in mind when thinking about safari outfit ideas. This outfit shows how you can add a few personal touches to your fit without ruining your mobility.

The hat and sunglasses are both essential as you’ll be out in the sun for long periods of time. They’ll protect you from UV rays that could harm your skin and tire you out.

Yet it’s the bag that I’m most impressed by because it’s a stylish way to carry everything you need in a format that’s different than a backpack.

Fashion Tips To Avoid With Safari Outfits

Here are the things you’ll want to avoid when putting together your safari outfit ideas.

• Don’t wear accessories unless you need them to survive. Of course, I’m being a bit melodramatic, but safaris aren’t the place for heavy jewelry or dangly earrings.
• Stay away from black as it’ll attract too much sunlight and you’ll likely overheat .
• Don’t wear slip-on shoes , high heels, or other footwear that doesn’t fit most safari outfit ideas’ standard aesthetic.

When you go on a safari, you'll be spending a lot of time outside, whether you're walking through brush, hiking, or riding in the back of a vehicle. You won't have much time or opportunity to change your clothes, so it's important to dress appropriately. Choose colors that match your surroundings and also don't attract bugs. You should also choose your clothing based on where in Africa you'll be. Quality clothing might be a little more expensive, but it's worth the investment.

You Will Need

Start with your shirt and remove the sleeves because you don't need those.

Also remove the collar because you won't need that either.

Then cut out your neckline just below the first button and about an inch before the second.

Next remove your pocket but keep it to the side because you'll be re-adding it later.

Next you're going to cut out the shape of your dress. It's a basic triangle shape so what you'll want to do is mark the size of your arm holes and bust using a tank top that fits you well and then draw straight down from there to the bottom of your shirt/dress. Make sure you leave enough for seam allowance.

Next flip your dress inside out and pin and sew down the sides.

If you're not using a serger which I'm not then press open your seams and sew them down for a neater finish.

Next bust out your bias tape. I didn't have enough lying around in my stash so I made some. And because I was making my own I decided it was a good idea to have fun with it and use a fun material- like a plaid.

Pin and sew it to your neckline and armholes.

Next take out that pocket and sew your fun and funky bias tape to the top portion of that.

Pin and sew your pocket back onto your dress using the seam lines that are already there as your guide.

Now I found that the bottom of my dress needed an extra button so I took an available matching button and made a new button hole at the bottom of my dress to help me cover up a bit. (If you don't know how to make a button hole on your machine check your machine's manual.)

Easy DIY Zoo Keeper Costume for Kids

We almost always make our own Halloween costumes , but that doesn’t mean I am an expert seamstress, by any means! For my kids’ comfort (and my budget!), I love building costumes with regular clothes that they can wear again. Then, we add in interesting accessories, hats , and props to make the costume complete.

When my oldest daughter was 4, she loved the idea of taking care of animals and decided she wanted to be a zoo keeper for Halloween. Our zoo keeper costume was so fun and easy to put together, and we loved adding all kinds of details to make it special.

Grab a few basic pieces of clothing from your closet, the sale rack, or the thrift store. Then, gather and create a few fun accessories to complete your zoo keeper costume.

The Basic Outfit

Polo shirt: Go for a solid, nature-inspired color like tan, olive green, or orange. Even if you are shopping for a girl, check the boys’ department, too. We found a polo shirt on the boys’ clearance rack at Old Navy. Uniform clothes are often on sale in stores this time of year, or a thrift store might be a good option for the shirt, too.

Cargo shorts or pants: If you don’t already have a pair of cargo bottoms on hand, grab a pair to add to your child’s wardrobe after Halloween. Bonus!

Boots or tennis shoes: Wear something you have, borrow from a friend, or check the thrift store.

Fun add-ons

The costume really comes to life when you add lots of props and accessories. Finding and creating these add-ons is my kids’ favorite part of costume-making!

Zoo patch: A patch adds detail to a plain polo shirt or hat. Check the gift shop or website of your local zoo, or the iron-on patch section of a craft store. Online, there are many options on eBay, Etsy, and Amazon.

Keys on a ring: Gather up some spare keys and clip to your belt loop.

Laminated name tag & clip: An office supply store has plastic badge holders that would work great. Your child can design a personalized name badge!

Hat:  A basic baseball cap would be a good addition to this costume, or go for a safari look with a pith helmet. Party stores often have inexpensive costume hats.

Walkie-talkie: If you have a set of walkie-talkies, clip one on to your costume.You could also make a pretend walkie-talkie from a juice box – adorable! (via let’s go fly a kite )

This costume went right into our dress-up bin after Halloween, and got lots of wear for pretend zoo emergencies, safaris, and animal rescue adventures.

One of the most challenging things when planning a safari is what to wear…how do I look cute on safari while still choosing practical clothing? I spent weeks researching what to wear and how to prepare, only to realize that looking cute on safari is no easy feat. It’s a challenge to balance comfort, practicality, and style, especially when you’re going on a rugged adventure in the wild. But fear not, fellow fashion-conscious travelers, because with the right tips and tricks, you can look chic AND be prepared on your next safari!

In this post, I’ll share my best advice on what to wear on safari for women and pass along plenty of cute outfit ideas for both day and night. Whether you’re planning a luxury safari or a more budget-friendly trip, these tips will help you pack the perfect safari wardrobe. So, let’s get started and make sure you’re ready to slay on your next safari adventure (while still being comfortable!)

1. What to Wear on Safari for Women: Packing List

I’ll give you a quick packing list on what to wear on safari for women and then give you plenty of tips and outfit inspiration below! Here are some essentials to include on your packing list:

• Lightweight Pants
• Long-sleeve tops (bonus points if they have UPF protection)
• Tanks/ T-shirts to wear under your long-sleeves
• Trail runners (or some kind of sturdy closed-toed shoe)
• Accessories (bandana, scarf, hair scarf)

2. Choose Neutral Colors

When it comes to what to wear on safari for women, neutral colors are your best bet. Avoid bright colors, which can attract unwanted attention from animals and make it more difficult to blend in with your surroundings. Stick to earth tones like khaki, light grey, light blue, and olive green. The good news is these colors all hide dirt pretty well and safaris can get quite dusty. I include a ton of example outfits in my post for inspiration, so keep on scrolling!

I would definitely avoid bright blue and black, as these colors attract tsetse flies. Also avoid camouflage in some countries since it is designated for military use.

3. Pick Clothing Made of Breathable Fabric

When packing for a safari, it’s super important to prioritize comfort. The African sun can be intense, and the dust can be a lot to handle. Go for lightweight, breathable fabrics that will keep you cool and dry. Avoid anything too tight or restrictive, as you’ll want to be able to move easily in your clothes (and lounge in your safari vehicle). On some days, we spent 12 hours bouncing around on safari, so I was incredibly grateful for my comfy attire!

4. Footwear for Safari

While you may be spending most of your time in a vehicle during game drives, you’ll still need a sturdy and comfortable pair of shoes for walking around camp, any guided walks, and bathroom breaks during game drives. Trail runners are a great choice for safari because they offer excellent support, traction, and durability. The uneven ground, animal poo, and prickly bushes can make walking a challenge, so it’s important to have shoes that can handle the terrain. Plus, trail runners are relatively lightweight, making them a comfortable choice for long days in the bush. We mostly stayed in the vehicle, but even for quick bathroom breaks, I definitely preferred sturdy closed-toed shoes.

5. Bring a Hat & Sunglasses

Sun protection is crucial on a safari, and a wide-brimmed hat and sunglasses are essential. Choose a hat with a wide brim that will protect your face and neck from the sun, and sunglasses with polarized lenses that will reduce glare and help you spot wildlife. When planning out what to wear on safari for women, both of these items are must-haves. Plus, how cute is this hat?

6. How to Look Cute on Safari

Who says you can’t look cute on safari? While comfort should be your top priority, there’s no reason you can’t add some style to your safari attire. Accessories are a great way to add some personality to your outfit. Bring a hair scarf or a pair of earrings to dress up a simple outfit in the evening.

For the daytime, try a scarf or a bandana . A scarf comes in handy keeping you warm on chilly mornings. Plus, bandanas are great for protecting your neck from the sun and keeping dirt out of your face during particularly dusty drives! Go for a lightweight and breathable fabric, and choose a neutral color or pattern that complements your outfits.

7. Consider Wearing a Sports Bra

Safari vehicles are incredibly bumpy, and the last thing you want is to be bouncing around in an unsupportive bra. Not only will a sports bra keep you comfortable on your off-road adventure, but it will also provide support during any walks or hikes you may take. Plus, if you’re in a hot climate, a sports bra made of moisture-wicking material can help keep you cool and dry. When considering what to wear on safari for women, this is an absolute must-have.

8. Dress in Layers

Temperatures can vary greatly throughout the day on a safari, so it’s important to dress in layers. Start with a lightweight base layer, such as a moisture-wicking tank top or t-shirt, and add a long-sleeved shirt on top. Bring a lightweight jacket or fleece for cooler mornings and evenings, and a hat and scarf for sun protection.

For me, it was much cooler than expected in the mornings, so I’d also recommend packing a beanie or something to keep your ears warm. Fortunately, this doesn’t take up much room in your luggage, and it keeps you nice and toasty!

On the other hand, it can get pretty warm during the day. If you feel the heat, you may want to invest in zip-off pants or pack a spare pair of shorts in your bag. However, depending on how bad the bugs are and if you are getting out of the vehicle and doing any walking, you may want to keep those long pants on all the time despite the heat. I only wore shorts a few times – mostly around camp and for short drives during the day when I knew we would be staying in the vehicle.

9. Pack a Swimsuit

Many safari lodges have pools, so it’s a good idea to pack a swimsuit. You’ll be able to cool off after a hot day on safari and relax in the pool. This is an absolute must-pack on your list of what to wear on safari for women (if you have a pool). If you don’t have a pool, you can probably take a miss on the swimsuit because trust me…you do not want to jump in any watering holes on the Serengeti. You never know where a family of angry hippos may be lurking beneath the surface!

10. Prepare for Rain

Even if you’re traveling during the dry season, it’s always a good idea to bring a rain jacket on safari. Weather can be unpredictable, and a sudden rain shower can leave you feeling pretty soggy. Plus, a rain jacket can also double as a windbreaker on cooler mornings or evenings. On some of the super chilly mornings, I definitely doubled up with my fleece and rain jacket just to cut down on the wind.

Pick a lightweight and packable rain jacket, so you can easily stow it in your backpack during game drives. Our safari vehicle had rain jackets available, but I’d recommend bringing one just in case. I actually ended up using the rain jacket much more than expected…the Serengeti had a surprising amount of downpours in September! A rain jacket definitely ranks high on my list for what to wear on safari for women.

11. What to Wear in the Evening

This was one of my biggest questions…do people dress up in the evening on safari? Do I need to bring a different wardrobe? I’m here to answer all of your burning questions on safari eveningwear. The answer? You can wear the exact same thing that you do during the day – though you may want to switch it out for a clean version! Since there are pretty strict baggage allowance requirements on bush planes, this was definitely a relief for me to hear. Deciding what to wear on safari for women is already difficult enough before trying to plan out eveningwear!

My recommendation? Throw on a clean outfit after safari that you can wear on your next day’s adventure. Switch up your footwear for sandals instead of hiking shoes. Bring one dress if you’d like to look pretty one evening, and bring a few accessories to mix it up. I brought a scarf, a pair of earrings, and a couple hair scarves to make myself feel a little more girly some of the evenings. The good news is – it is pretty chill and nobody is going to be judging what you’re wearing!

The one caveat I’d add is that if you are staying in a super high-end lodge, I’d check in and see if there are any requirements. The photo above is from a 5-star lodge, and you can clearly see that my version of “dressing for dinner” is pretty low-key.

12. What NOT to Wear on Safari

While jumpsuits may be on-trend and super cute, they’re not the best choice for a safari. Jumpsuits can be difficult to get in and out of quickly, which is a problem if you need to use the bathroom during a game drive. Imagine having to literally take off the majority of your clothing while standing behind a termite mound (the most common place to use the bathroom) on the Serengeti, and you’ll see why this is a very serious recommendation. Hard pass! Instead, opt for separates for maximum comfort and ease of movement.

Finally, remember that a safari is an adventure, so don’t be afraid to dress for the occasion. Choose clothes that make you feel comfortable and confident, and don’t be afraid to add a touch of style. After all, you never know what kind of epic photos you’ll be taking on your safari!

Journey on a safari with the Safari dress pattern

The Safari dress pattern by Chut Charlotte is high on my list because I love quick and easy summer wardrobe pieces. Easy summer pieces are everything. Simple and straightforward forward, you could make 2-3 of these in a weekend for your summer travels and have a new look every day on your trip.  The  Safari pattern is available via download as a pdf as a letter or copy shop file.

Safari pattern features 

The Safari pattern features one base top pattern elongated to a midi length and again to a dress.  The dress and the midi top have an optional interfaced long or half belt. And the Safari dress has pockets, always a bonus! All items are unlined and include facing. Make the Safari dress pattern out of a woven fabric, such as cotton, linen, or viscose. Unlike US patterns, the pattern designer instructs you when and where to finish the edges. These instructions are another plus when choosing a Chut Charlotte pattern.

Avoid the boobie traps here .

• Some Safari dress pattern flaws to note, the pattern pieces do not match the instructions, but it’s easy to figure out since there are only a few pieces to begin with.
• The pockets do not have “stop sewing ” dots. So I created some. Also, make sure to understitch the pockets.

Sewing Recommendations :

Stay stitch the neckline of the Safari dress before your start, so you don’t stretch the neckline applying the facing. Next time I would interface the front and back facing and understitch pockets. Simply sew straight down the pocket seam on the dress and then create a stop for a less floppy pocket.

Fitting the Safari dress pattern

Remember, US sewists; you have to convert everything to inches. My first dilemma is the sizing chart. For reference, my measurements are 36” bust, 30” waist, 41.5” hips, 91, 76, 107cm; this is a UK size 12 for the upper portion and a size 14-16 for the hip.  I imagine that this isn’t a deal-breaker for most of us, but you be aware that you may need to grade the pattern if you aren’t perfectly proportioned. Fortunately, this is one of the few patterns that clearly list the garment’s finished measurements. The Safari dress pattern designer lists the bust and hip measurements and the front and back lengths. A full bust adjustment is also illustrated.  Of note, there are no instructions to understitch the facing or neckline. 

Safari pattern hacks:

• Line the Safari dress
• Create some darts for better shaping
• Add sleeves
• Side seam splits with a rounded hem
• With some fit adjustments, this would be a great knit dress

Petite styling tips:

Safaris tend to get colder during the night. You can add on a brown leather jacket to this look to shield yourself from the cold.

Tickets for the North American leg of Olivia Rodrigo's arena tour are completely sold-out, but a captivating new immersive, one-of-a kind experience will be available for all fans in cities along the tour route. The GUTS World Tour Bus Experience will provide attendees a GUTS-inspired world with exclusive benefits for American Express Card Members, and limited-edition offerings from Starbucks and Sony's LinkBuds S. Admission is free.

The colorful bus will make its first stop at The Music Yard in Charlotte, NC this Friday, March 8 – before Rodrigo's show at Spectrum Center. The GUTS World Tour Bus Experience offers an interactive fan experience designed to evoke an iconic 1990s mainstay – a teenage girl's bedroom. Mixing creatively curated décor and interactive, shareable encounters, the bus interior includes memorabilia, a closet full of authentic SOUR tour outfits worn by Rodrigo, a mirrored acrylic vanity and more. Visitors will have the chance to enter giveaways and purchase exclusive merch. There will be photo moments including opps with a crescent moon (similar to the one seen in the live set), and star-filled toilet. There will also be craft tables where fans can add unique and personalized elements to their merch.

American Express continues to support Rodrigo on her GUTS World Tour as the presenting partner of the GUTS World Tour Bus Experience. Amex Card Member benefits onsite include access to an exclusive Olivia Rodrigo x Amex trading card set and dedicated apparel available only to Card Members (terms apply to all benefits). These are just a few of the many entertainment benefits  Amex Card Members can access.

To celebrate Starbucks' new lavender beverages, a limited-edition GUTS Starbucks Card will be given to fans. The first 1,000 fans who arrive at the bus each day will receive the $10 Starbucks gift Card. 

Fans can try out the custom LinkBuds S x Olivia Rodrigo earbuds, which Olivia designed and tuned in partnership with Sony. Fans who purchase the earbuds on-site will receive a limited edition “Olivia's O's” cereal box, as seen in the campaign ad , as a gift with their purchase.

Rodrigo is touring the world in support of GUTS, her sophomore album, which topped the album charts in over 13 countries including the U.S., where it debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. GUTS appeared on more than 30 Best of 2023 lists, including  The New York Times, Rolling Stone, NPR, Pitchfork and Billboard.

The bus was also comfortable enough and tour guides were friendly. Overall, 2 stars for Chichen Itza, 4.5 stars for the rest of the tour. If we were to do it over, we would probably just hire a guide at Chichen Itza instead and just use SAT for transportation to the Cenote and Cancun to give ourselves an extra hour and more information.

This was a great tour! The bus picked us up right on time from our hotel at 9:15am. Allen, our tour guid, was extremely knowledgeable and followed all covid guidelines. Our driver was great and followed covid guidelines as well. The tour started at the ruins. Allen gave us a lot of interesting info on the history and cultural of the Mayans.

Having done many trips throughout Central and South America this one was sadly one of the least enjoyable. The tour is advertised at 12 hours but you'll spend most of that in the bus going from one money spending option to the next. On top of that, the tour is titled "All Inclusive" but there are many extras you have to pay.
