An all-inclusive vacation is a dream for many travelers. Paying for everything upfront means you don’t have to think about how much things cost when you arrive at your destination. Your hotel, flight, food, drinks, and even things like airport transfers can be lumped into a vacation package that can save you money.

In this post, we’ll show you 10 websites that offer all-inclusive vacation packages and deals to help you find the best price for your next vacation. So, sit back, relax, and come with us as we explore ways you can get a great deal on your next all-inclusive vacaotion.

CheapCaribbean.com is a popular site for finding inexpensive vacations. The great thing about this site is that you can filter your results to only show all-inclusive resorts .

To do this, first, enter your destination and travel dates. Then you’ll see your search results. There are lots of filtering options — just scroll down a bit to Experience , and you’ll be able to select only all-inclusive options.

Cheap Caribbean All Inclusive

After selecting a resort, you’ll be able to add extras like airport transfers or insurance during the checkout process. If you want to book a flight along with your hotel stay, be sure to select Hotel + Flight before you start your search.

Hot Tip: When booking an all-inclusive resort, be sure to correctly enter the number of guests traveling since prices are quoted per person.

CheapTickets is another website that allows you to narrow your search to include only all-inclusive resorts. After clicking on the all-inclusive filtering option on the left, you can sort your search results by things like price or distance using the sorting options at the top of the page.

One of the nice things about this site is that it has a map feature that allows you to search for hotels by location. This can be helpful if you want a resort close to specific tourist attractions or landmarks.

CheapTickets map feature

You may notice that CheapTickets is powered by Expedia, so you might think that both sites offer the same deals. In reality, each site can show different search results and different prices, so it’s a good idea to check both to see which one offers the best deal.

Hot Tip: You may find Hyatt Ziva or Hyatt Zilara properties in your search results for an all-inclusive vacation package. These properties can be booked using World of Hyatt points so keep them in mind if you have World of Hyatt or Chase Ultimate Rewards points burning a hole in your pocket. If you’re planning to pay cash but have Hyatt elite status or are trying to earn Hyatt elite status , you’ll want to book directly since you can’t use or earn elite status when booking through a third party.

If you’ve been searching for a vacation package, chances are you’ve run across Apple Vacations . This company is a leader in providing deals on tropical vacations. The site allows you to easily focus on only all-inclusive resorts by selecting All-Inclusive in the Experiences section of the filtering options.

One of the things that makes Apple Vacations a bit different is the ability to add extras during the booking process . You can add the usual suspects like airport transportation and insurance, but Apple Vacations also offers the ability to book things like spa treatments, a rental car, and sightseeing tours.

Apple Vacations Apple Extras

Hot Tip: Southwest Airlines flies to many popular vacation spots (including international destinations ) but won’t be included on any third-party website. If you want to check Southwest’s prices, you’ll have to do a separate search on the airline’s website.

All Inclusive Outlet specializes in — you guessed it — all-inclusive vacation packages. However, you can also use it to book cruises.

If you have some flexibility or aren’t sure where you want to go, check out the Hot Deals tab, where you can find deals listed by destination, interest, or special sales. Most packages offered on this site are for destinations in the Caribbean and Mexico. However, you’ll also find a few options for the U.S., Central America, and South America.

One of the unique things about All Inclusive Outlet is that it offers the ability to purchase Cancel for Any Reason insurance . Known as CFAR coverage, it allows you to cancel for reasons that may not be covered by other insurance plans, like COVID-19.

All Inclusive Outlet CFAR Insurance

Hot Tip: CFAR insurance is available to purchase as a separate policy, meaning you can get it without having to book your all-inclusive vacation package through a specific website. For more information, you can check out our complete guide to travel insurance to bring you up to speed on what you may or may not need.

Expedia is a popular online travel agency for searching for flights and hotels, but you can also use it to search for all-inclusive vacation packages. After specifying your departure and destination cities and travel dates, look for the all-inclusive filtering option on the left side of your screen.

One of the nice things about Expedia is that it offers the ability to easily see only properties that have generous refund policies . Just be sure to check your specific hotel’s policy before booking since “fully refundable” can have different meanings at different locations.

Search refundable properties on Expedia

Another nice thing about using Expedia is the One Key program. You’ll be able to earn and use points (called OneKeyCash) on eligible trips and gain access to special member pricing. Using a travel agency’s rewards program is a great way to earn rewards when you’re not participating in a hotel chain’s loyalty program.

Hot Tip: If you’re a fan of Hyatt and also love all-inclusive resorts, you’ll be thrilled to know that Hyatt has acquired Apple Leisure Group and its AMR Collection which includes luxury all-inclusive resort brands like Secrets, Dreams, Breathless, Zoëtry, Alua, and Sunscape. You can now earn and use World of Hyatt points at most of these resorts.

If you’re in the market for adding to your AA AAdvantage miles , you might be wondering if you can earn miles by booking an all-inclusive vacation package through American Airlines Vacations . The answer is yes . To limit your search to all-inclusive resorts, select All-inclusive resort under the Property Types filter.

You’ll earn a minimum of 1,000 American miles with any package booked through AA Vacations, but keep an eye out for special deals that come with up to 30,000 bonus miles . You’ll also earn Loyalty Points towards elite status with your purchase.

AA Vacations All Inclusive Resort

If you already have some American Airlines miles and you’d like to save cash on your vacation, you can book an all-inclusive vacation with miles ! You’ll only get 1 cent per point in value and since we value American Airlines miles at 1.4 cents each, it’s not a great deal. However, if you have miles to spare and would rather have an all-inclusive vacation instead of flights, this could be a way to make that happen.

AA Vacations with miles

Hot Tip: You can either earn AAdvantage miles when booking a hotel or vacation package through American Airlines Vacations or you can use them to pay for your trip. For more information, check out our guide to booking travel through American Airlines Vacations .

While you might think of Kayak as a great website to use for flight searches , it can also find hotels, car rentals, cruises, and vacation packages . This easy-to-use site is a metasearch engine. That means it can search for travel on other sites so you can easily see where the good deals are. Then, you’ll be transferred to a separate site to book.

To narrow your search to all-inclusive resorts only, select All-inclusive under Board in the filtering options after specifying your travel details.

Kayak all inclusive search results

You’ll see that each search result lists a separate website where that particular deal can be found. If there are multiple websites offering a similar deal, you’ll be able to see them all by clicking the See all dropdown arrow under View Deal .

Bottom Line: Kayak is a metasearch engine that allows you to search for flights, hotels, car rentals, cruises, and vacation package deals across many online travel agencies at one time. You can learn more about how this website works in our detailed guide to booking travel with Kayak .

Funjet Vacations  specializes in vacation packages, especially all-inclusive resorts in Mexico and the Caribbean.

You can search for all-inclusive resorts by clicking on the All-Inclusive tab on the home page and entering your travel information. The search results show lots of information, including Tripadvisor ratings and any extra bonuses available, like free COVID-19 testing or free accommodations for kids.

During the checkout process, you can add extras to your booking, including trip insurance, airport transfer, rental car, and sightseeing tours.

Keep an eye out for Funjet’s Insider Perks  program, which offers things like free airport transfers, VIP excursions, and room upgrades when you book select hotels.

Funjet Vacations Exclusive Perks

Hotels.com is a great way to book independent hotels since it participates in a loyalty program called One Key . It’s a nice way to earn and use points (called OneKeyCash) when you’re not booking through a large loyalty program like World of Hyatt or Marriott Bonvoy .

The filtering option to select only all-inclusive resorts is a little harder to find on Hotels.com than other sites, but it’s there. Just scroll down on your search results page until you see Accommodation type in the filtering options on the left. You can then select all-inclusive from that list.

Be sure to create a free account and log in to do your hotel searches so you can see the “secret prices” that can save you money. We found lots of options that were $7 to $53 cheaper per night after logging in.

Hotels.com Secret Price

Hotels.com’s loyalty program is called OneKey, the same program used by Expedia and Vrbo.

One of the nice things about Orbitz is that in addition to filtering by property type (like all-inclusive), you can filter by cancellation policy so you can quickly see hotels that offer free cancellation.

While Orbitz is fairly similar to many other online travel agencies, one of its benefits is the Orbitz Rewards program. You’ll earn Orbucks on flights, hotels, and vacation packages booked through the platform. Then you can use your Orbucks toward future hotel reservations. This is a great way to participate in a loyalty program when you don’t have loyalty to a specific brand’s program.

Earn Orbucks on all inclusive resorts

Now that we’ve gone over some of the best websites for all-inclusive vacation package deals, let’s do a price comparison to see how these sites stack up against each other.

We priced out a 7-night stay for 2 adults at Riu Palace Las Americas, a popular all-inclusive resort in Cancún, Mexico. We checked prices for just the hotel as well as a hotel and flight package. Here are the results:

Prices were for 2 people in a Junior Suite, the least expensive room available.

In this example, CheapTickets and Orbitz tied for the best price for a hotel and flight while Kayak offered the best price for the hotel only, beating out even the hotel’s website.

Going on an all-inclusive vacation is a dream for many travelers. The ease of paying for everything upfront is very appealing to those looking for ultimate relaxation. However, some all-inclusive resorts can be expensive, so it’s a good idea to look for package deals to help you save money.

There are lots of websites out there to help you do just that. While there isn’t 1 site that always offers the lowest price, with just a small bit of research, you can find a great deal. We hope these website suggestions help you find a fantastic all-inclusive vacation package that’s perfect for your next trip!

From all-inclusive resorts perfect for honeymooners to something more family-friendly, our curated list has it all. Not to mention some beautiful luxury all-inclusive resorts that will take your vacation to the next level.

Even if you've been to an all-inclusive resort before, there are still common mistakes you should avoid . But the biggest mistake you can make is not giving all-inclusive resorts a chance in the first place.

Staying in an overwater bungalow is at the top of many travelers' must-experience lists, but did you know you don't have to travel all the way to the Maldives or Bora Bora to experience it? You can actually stay in one at the all-inclusive, adults-only Sandals Royal Caribbean in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Not only do you get that dreamy overwater bungalow, but the bungalows are actually built into the shape of a heart on a private island off the main resort.

Beyond that, guests can enjoy food ranging from Thai to French and Indian to Caribbean at nine different restaurants on the property, as well as premium liquor at most of the on-site bars. Add that to top-notch pools, water and land activities like land chess and volleyball, live entertainment, and the option to get PADI scuba certified, and what else could you possibly need?

But if you do need more, guests can also access all the food and activities at the property's sister resort, Sandals Montego Bay.

Rates at Sandals Royal Caribbean start at $277 per person per night.

Part of Hyatt's new high-end all-inclusive brand , Secrets Impression Moxche, is one that our reviewer said might be the "best all-inclusive resort in Playa del Carmen." It's easy to see why when you look at the fact that this stunning resort only offers suites; those suites start at nearly 1,000 square feet and include options with outdoor hot tubs, beautiful views of the ocean and even a two-story penthouse that feels like it's fit for royalty.

If you decide to leave your beautiful rooms, there's plenty to do: Explore the resort's hidden coves and cenotes, dance in a tucked-away speak-easy, go snorkeling to get face-to-face with exotic sea life, head to the spa for a relaxing treatment or just relax by the pool and soak up the sun. Just don't forget to look at the entertainment calendar so you don't miss live music, pool volleyball and more.

But what really sets this resort apart is its dedication to great food, which ranges from fine French dining to an open-fire grill and even a modern Japanese restaurant with teppanyaki tables. Just be sure to stop by Teodoro for a seven-course dining experience unlike anything you've had at an all-inclusive resort before. (Extra fees apply at certain restaurants.)

Rates at Secrets Impression Moxche start at $800 per night, based on double occupancy. As a Category F in Hyatt's all-inclusive chart, award nights can be found between 42,000 and 58,000 points per night.

There are many reasons to love this adults-only, luxury Hyatt resort on the rugged coast of California. One major reason is that, back in 2020, it converted to an all-inclusive model . The 59 guest rooms and suites are chic and cozy. Each comes with a balcony or private deck, scenic views, a stocked minibar, a walk-in shower and a soaking tub. Many rooms even have fireplaces and hot tubs.

With Ventana's inclusive offerings, guests can enjoy modern American meals at The Sur House , which uses local ingredients and organic produce grown on the property. Just note that alcohol is not included in the package. Guests can unwind with yoga, daily hikes or reserved access to indoor or outdoor wellness studios. Take the day to chill in the sun at one of the pools, slip away to the Japanese hot baths for some mountainside serenity or hit up Spa Alila — the first in the U.S. — for a Body Renewal Ritual starting at $330.

Rates at Alila Ventana Big Sur start around $1,300 per night for double occupancy, including all meals and various activities. World of Hyatt members can book this Category 8 property from 35,000 to 45,000 points per night.

At Hyatt's sister Zilara and Ziva resorts in Cap Cana (an upscale, gated resort area in Punta Cana), adults can take advantage of both areas of the dual-branded property. Children are restricted to the Ziva side. Kids (and kids at heart) will enjoy the Canapolis Waterpark, which has a handful of adrenaline-inducing slides. Adults looking for something more relaxing can hit up the cenote-inspired spa .

The resort is truly massive, with more than 700 ocean-view suites split between Ziva and Zilara; these include swim-up suites, one-bedroom options and even rooms with direct beach access. There are almost more restaurants and bars than you can imagine. Some highlights are French-Polynesian restaurant Brando's, an Indian restaurant in a trainlike setting and an Asian joint with teppan grills. There are also multiple buffets and coffee shops as well as beach, pool, sports and martini bars. Also, 24-hour room service will help with those late-night cravings.

Rates for Hyatt Zilara and Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana start at $539, based on double occupancy. As a Hyatt All-Inclusive Category E property, award nights are 35,000 to 45,000 points per night for double occupancy. Additional guests require an additional 17,500 to 23,000 points per person per night.

Dubai is known for its towering skyscrapers and over-the-top hotels. However, just 45 minutes outside of the overwhelming hustle and bustle is a desert oasis where guests can bask in the heat of the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve or go for a sand-filled adventure. At this resort, part of Marriott's Luxury Collection, each of the 42 suites features a plunge pool, a private deck and the utmost privacy. Plus, they come with the chance to see gazelles and Arabian oryxes roaming in the wild.

While visiting, take a camel ride through the desert, learn the art of falconry or go on a desert drive to see some wildlife. If you need to relax, opt for a specialized treatment from the Timeless Spa — just don't forget that two desert activities are included with full board.

Don't worry about going hungry — food is a serious business at Al Maha. Dining options are more gourmet than you might expect from an all-inclusive resort. Al Diwaan , the international restaurant, serves three meals a day with views of the reserve. Hajar Terrace Bar is the perfect place to sit back and take in the power of the desert, drink in hand.

Rates at Al Maha start around $960 a night for double occupancy or 94,000 Marriott Bonvoy points a night.

Grand Velas Los Cabos has a lot to offer guests spending a few nights in Baja California. It's an all-suite property where every room has stunning ocean views, a spa-style bathroom with a Jacuzzi and a large terrace to soak up the salty air.

Outside the rooms, guests can enjoy delicious food from seven upscale restaurants. Options include a 10-course tasting menu of international flavors at Cocina de Autor; French, Mexican and Italian spots; and a buffet.

The resort also offers Mexican cooking classes, yoga and a kids club. Paid activities range from whale watching to off-roading on all-terrain vehicles to camel excursions on the beach. Undercurrents prevent swimming at the resort's beach, but there are three infinity pools — including a family-friendly one — overlooking the ocean. At the 35,000-square-foot SE Spa by Grand Velas , a spa valet can make all your wellness dreams come true.

Rates at Grand Velas Los Cabos start at $1,295 a night, based on double occupancy.

When we sent a reviewer to Hilton Rose Hall in 2021, he was impressed enough to give it our "recommended" seal of approval — and it's easy to see why. The property boasts a beautiful, well-maintained beach, free nonmotorized water sports equipment (like kayaks and water tricycles), tennis and basketball courts, a 24-hour fitness center and plenty of entertainment, such as karaoke and DJs.

A great resort for families , it has everything the kiddos could want, including a massive 280-foot waterslide at Sugar Mill Falls, the on-site water park (and one of the largest in Jamaica). Across its nine bars and restaurants, even the pickiest eaters are sure to find something they love; among the options are Italian fare, Caribbean classics and an American burger bar. For adults, a swim-up pool bar slings island favorites during the day, while an open-air cocktail bar is a great place to end the night.

Rates at Hilton Rose Hall Resort & Spa start as low as $325 a night, based on double occupancy, while Hilton Honors members can book an award night starting at 74,000 points.

You might be surprised to learn that there are a handful of deluxe all-inclusive resorts in the U.S. Castle Hot Springs — a grand desert oasis about an hour north of Phoenix — is one of the best. Its 30 stand-alone bungalows and cabins are tucked away in a lush setting full of palm trees spread across 1,100 acres. Dating back to the late 1800s, the resort's natural hot springs (which range from 86 to 106 degrees) have been helping people stay healthy and relaxed for decades.

Stays at Castle Hot Springs include breakfast, lunch and a five-course tasting menu for dinner each evening, all crafted with select ingredients grown at the resort. A $25 daily drink credit is available per guest. The rate also includes activities like yoga, meditation, farm tours, guided hikes and exclusive access to the hot springs. Additional experiences are available for a fee, including spa and wellness treatments; more adventurous options include UTV tours and the elevated adventure course and aerial walkway.

Rates at Castle Hot Springs start at $1,400 per night, based on double occupancy. Two- and three-night minimums are required for most dates and the resort is closed seasonally for most of July and August.

All-inclusive resorts in Costa Rica just hit different, thanks to the combination of beautiful beaches and tropical rainforests. At the Westin Reserva Conchal resort, you get the best of both. Set on 2,400 acres, the resort has a lagoon-style pool and access to a championship golf course, tennis courts and pristine beaches.

With 406 rooms — ranging from entry-level deluxe junior suites with a balcony to club-level suites (with access to the club lounge and private pool) and larger family suites — there's plenty of room for the entire family to spread out. Families can take advantage of the kids club or go for a three-hour hike in the rainforest. The resort fields a handful of bars and restaurants, including a barbecue joint, seafood options and a steakhouse.

Rates at The Westin Reserva Conchal start at $522 a night while Marriott Bonvoy members can book an award night starting at 71,500 points, both based on double occupancy.

In Mexico, Hilton has been opening new hotels left and right, one of which is Hilton Cancun, an All-Inclusive Resort. Each of the resort's 715 guest rooms and suites has a balcony. Also, select premium suites offer swim-up pools and extra outdoor space. The crafts of local artisans inspire the rooms' decor, which is full of modern touches like subtle pops of color and plenty of charging ports.

Activities abound at this Hilton. Guests can partake in arts and crafts, sports on the beach, nightly fiestas with music and themed parties. As a great resort for families, a kids club is available to occupy young children, as is a designated family pool with a splash playground. A teen club is available for the older ones, too. This resort shares grounds and some facilities with the new, ultraluxe Waldorf Astoria Cancun .

With 12 dining options , there's a meal for every appetite. There is traditional Mexican food at Maxal, wood-fired pizza at Italian trattoria La Luce, a Southeast Asian-inspired menu at Auma, and unlimited ice cream and churros at La Churreria.

Rates at Hilton Cancun, an All-Inclusive Resort start at $297 a night, based on double occupancy, while Hilton Honors members can book an award night starting at 85,000 points.

Believe it or not, the Hudson Valley is home to a picture-perfect, fairytale-like castle that offers year-round fun for the whole family (or a dreamy romantic retreat). This all-inclusive resort sits just 90 minutes from New York City.

Mohonk Mountain House, which dates back to 1869, is set within 40,000 acres of forest. It offers ample space for hiking, horseback riding, learning archery or ax throwing, and canoeing on the lake (where you can bask in the faux Victorian castle's beauty).

Guests at Mohonk receive three included meals a day (alcohol is additional) from an upscale buffet or one of the specialty restaurants. The Main Dining Room has breathtaking views of the Catskill Mountains to accompany the farm-to-table dishes and wine pairings.

A treatment from the spa is not included, but worth the splurge. The 60-minute Mohonk Red massage treatment ($240), which uses the distinct "Mohonk Red" witch hazel growing on the property, is a highlight.

When you enter your room, you'll immediately be transported back to the grand days of the past thanks to traditional decor; gilt wallpaper, sturdy wooden furniture, and views of the forest and mountains create a memorable ambience. The move here is to opt for a room with a balcony and fireplace, like one of the Victorian Rooms , so you can have a special experience. If you're worried about getting the fire going, ring reception; they'll send someone up to do it for you.

Rates at Mohonk Mountain House are typically over $1,000 a night, based on double occupancy. Kids under 12 stay and eat for free during select weeks each year (limited to one child per adult guest, two children maximum).

If you want a tailor-made luxe experience and one that's all-inclusive, look no further than Nihi Sumba, one of the world's dreamiest — and most talked about — resorts . It's a little tough to get to (because it requires a trip to Bali and a connecting flight to Tambolaka Airport as well as a more-than-hourlong car ride or a private helicopter transport). Still, the jet lag quickly fades away once you settle in one of the resort's 27 villas. Villas have a private pool, canopy beds, views of the Indian Ocean and even handmade chocolate waiting in the minifridge.

Guests who check into Nihi Sumba can eat at Ombak, an open-air, sandy-floored restaurant serving a la carte breakfast and dinner. Or, they can enjoy fresh-caught fish and pizza made with organic ingredients grown by the property at Nio Beach Club & Pool.

As for activities, it's impossible to decide between swimming with horses , stand-up paddleboarding in the crystal-clear water, hiking to a beautiful waterfall and just lazing by the pool. Luckily, you don't have to choose — the resort wants you to have it all (though some activities are an extra expense).

Rates at Nihi Sumba start at $1,075 during the shoulder season and $1,795 during the high season per villa, per night, based on double occupancy.

Hyatt's wellness-centered Miraval brand has three locations across the country, and we're big fans of all of them. We're exceptionally smitten with the baronial outpost in the Berkshires, though. At this adults-only resort, focusing on yourself is the primary task of any visit. Rates include "life-enhancing wellbeing activities" such as yoga, hiking, aqua barre classes in the pool and nutrition classes. Paid experiences include pottery, archery and even therapeutic sessions with horses.

Accommodations at Miraval Berkshires range from spa-inspired guest rooms stocked with Tibetan singing bowls and meditation cushions to 600-square-foot suites with balconies. The resort's newest offering, Wyndhurst Mansion , is a Gilded Age stunner with 10 rooms and suites named after famed writers. Rates include three meals daily at the health-conscious restaurant Harvest Moon or through in-room dining. For an extra fee, head to 1894 for a four-course prix fixe menu with dishes like black truffle risotto and dry-aged bison rib-eye served through an interactive experience.

Rates at Miraval Berkshires start at $1,386 per night or 57,500 or 72,000 points per night, both based on double occupancy. Note that every award booking includes a $175 resort credit per person.

If you're looking to escape the party scene of Cancun, give Puerto Vallarta a chance — and book a great stay at this towering Hilton all-inclusive resort. It has 444 rooms and suites, each of which has a private balcony and ocean views. For an exclusive-feeling experience, book a club-level room to access a private check-in area, the club lounge and its daily happy hour.

Take a culinary trip around the world by visiting the resort's Italian, Asian and Mexican restaurants, or grab a juicy steak at Seasalt steakhouse . Like all the best all-inclusive resorts, room service is available 24/7.

By day, catch some rays by the pool or on the beach; at night, hit up the sunset pool party for dancing or attend the evening fiesta for live entertainment. If you'd rather take it slow, visit the Eforea Spa to sweat away the day in the steam room or get a Hawaiian-inspired, deep-tissue massage.

Rates at Hilton Vallarta Riviera All-Inclusive Resort start at $366 a night or 91,000 points per night , based on double occupancy.

St. Lucia is one of the most beautiful islands in the Caribbean, and Jade Mountain — an independent resort offering all-inclusive pricing options — might be one of the most beautiful resorts. There are picture-perfect views of the island and its geological splendors from each of the 24 unique "sanctuaries," or suites. Every accommodation (except for whirlpool suites) also includes a large private infinity pool, 15-foot-high ceilings and an open fourth wall to allow for unobstructed views of paradise.

Finding the right all-inclusive

There are a lot of factors that come into play when deciding what all-inclusive properties are the best, and the truth of the matter is that most of it comes down to personal preference and location.

For example, do you want to be at a resort with great beach access, or are you looking for an experience near Montana's beautiful mountains? Do you want a nice experience that comes at an affordable rate or are you willing to splurge for an all-inclusive resort that has fine dining?

And — one factor that's really important — do you want an adults-only experience , or are you OK with somewhere that's family-friendly ? If you're unsure, there are plenty of incredible family-friendly resorts with secluded pools and restaurants for people without children (or offer babysitting services or kids clubs for an adult date night or spa appointment).

Knowing what you want from an all-inclusive resort will make it much easier for you to find the right property for your trip.

7 Best Travel Sites for All-Inclusive Vacations

There are a lot of different components when planning a family vacation. After you pick your dates and destination, you still have to choose a hotel , find flights for the whole family, rent a car or research other transportation options, and plan meals, tours, and activities during your trip.

It’s a lot of work, which is why an all-inclusive vacation can be a good option for those times when all the travel prep just seems too overwhelming. Everything will be taken care of and paid of ahead of time, and you won’t need to keep reaching for cash or credit cards during your trip.

If you’re someone who likes to explore a destination and get off the beaten path, an all-inclusive vacation may not be the right choice for you. All-inclusive packages include food and drinks at your resort, so if you eat elsewhere, you’ll be paying extra on top of what you’ve already shelled out. Same goes for tours and activities outside your resort. But if you’re looking for a laidback escape from everyday life where you don’t have to think too much about different options, this can be a good way to go.

Read the fine print to fully understand what’s included and what isn’t. Sometimes things like spa services are an extra cost. Comb through the info and read reviews about dining options to see if included food choices and restaurant styles (like buffet versus sit-down) will work for the whole family, and if you need to make any dining reservations in advance.

If you still have questions, the sites listed below offer tips and advice on planning all-inclusive vacations, plus they often provide ways to connect with agents and experts for some human help.

Ready to book an all-inclusive getaway? Here are our picks for the best travel sites for all-inclusive vacations.

apple vacations

1. Apple Vacations

One of the country’s largest vacation companies, Apple Vacations offers all-inclusive vacation packages to destinations in Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central America. All-inclusive packages booked through Apple include roundtrip airfare; hotel accommodations; roundtrip transportation to and from the airport and your hotel; meals, snacks, soft drinks, and alcoholic beverages; a number of activities at your chosen resort; and all taxes and tips. Choose one of the company’s “Golden Apple” hotels for a resort that’s been especially well-reviewed by Apple Vacations customers following their vacations.

Best Feature for Families:  The Travel Protection Plus Plan can be added on to all-inclusive packages booked through Apple Vacations. It includes the ability to cancel for any reason and receive a full refund (minus the per-person cost of the protection plan), post-departure travel insurance, and a Hurricane Travel Credit that provides a refund for unused or interrupted vacation nights if a hurricane disrupts a vacation for 24 hours or more. Also included: a price guarantee. If the price of your hotel or flight drops after your reservation is booked, let Apple Vacations know and the company will adjust your reservation for the lower price.

Cheap Caribbean

2. Cheap Caribbean

Cheap Caribbean offers all-inclusive vacation packages (including hotel room, flight, meals, drinks, and activities) to its namesake location, as well as Mexico and Central America, put together by the company’s “Beachologists,” who are experts on planning trips to their destinations. Since the company was founded in 2000, it’s helped more than three million customers travel to 147 cities. Search through the site’s vacation packages by using the “family-friendly” filter to find spots where the little ones will have just as much fun as the grownups. The advertised price for your package includes taxes and fees upfront so you know the full price you’ll pay, and you can break it into monthly installments if you’d like. And if you uncover a lower price for the same vacation package on another U.S.-based travel website within 24 hours of booking, Cheap Caribbean will match that price—and even beat it by $25.

Best Feature for Families:  Each package description includes in-depth information about the resort property, including what the company loves about it, what it doesn’t love, and why you should consider staying there. There’s extensive information about hotel dining, amenities, and nearby attractions, and customer reviews help fill in any missing details with first-hand experiences.

TripAdvisor

3. Tripadvisor

You trust Tripadvisor for insightful traveler reviews. You can also trust it as a great website for booking all-inclusive vacations. Choose your destination, click vacation packages, and then filter results by all-inclusive options. You can sort those by best value or price and further filter results by price range, amenities, ratings, and other options. Deals are booked through partner sites like CheapTickets and Travelocity .

Best Feature for Families:  You can filter search results by family-friendly options. And when reading through property reviews, you can search by keywords like “family” or “kids” to get information and opinions from other parents who have traveled there.

Travelzoo

4. Travelzoo

Travelzoo features deals from more than 2,000 travel, entertainment, and other companies that have been vetted by its on-staff experts. The site’s promise: “We never recommend a deal that we wouldn’t book ourselves.” All-inclusive package options in destinations like Mexico and the Caribbean include flights, hotels, meals, and drinks. The one catch? To see all of the deals you have to become one of the site’s more than 28 million members. Luckily, you can join for free with just an email address.

Best Feature for Families:  You can filter your search for all-inclusive packages by family-friendly deals, and then add on other options like “winter fun” or “water activities” to further tailor a trip to your family’s interests.

Orbitz

This popular travel search site offers options for booking both all-inclusive hotel stays and vacation packages that include flights, rental cars, and hotel stays (including all-inclusive options). You can further filter results by property class, guest ratings, and amenities to find your perfect getaway. And if you’re a member of the free Orbitz Rewards loyalty program, you’ll earn points for any travel booked and be able to access special pricing and promotions.

Best Feature for Families:  There’s a lot of good info on the site for any hotel properties you’re considering, including a full breakdown of the resort and its amenities along with helpful guest reviews and lots of photos. It’s also easy to find out whether cribs and rollaway beds are available, plus whether the hotel has a kids’ club or other childcare options.

Liberty Travel

6. Liberty Travel

This travel company that’s been working with vacationers for six decades offers all-inclusive vacation packages to spots like Aruba, the Bahamas, Cozumel, and Los Cabos. Filter your search by both all-inclusive and family-friendly deals to get results that check both boxes. Booking.com is part of Booking Holdings Inc., the world leader in online travel and related services.

Verified reviews from real guests.

We have more than 70 million property reviews, all from real, verified guests .

How does it work?

It starts with a booking.

The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

Followed by a trip

When guests stay at the property, they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff is, and more.

And finally, a review

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

If you booked through us and want to leave a review, please sign in first.

Bright sunshine, cool water and as many strawberry daiquiris as you can stomach — this is the standard promise you’ll find for all-inclusive resorts. They’re popular for a reason, but the costs of experiencing this idyllic tranquility can quickly add up.

Happily, a partnership between Citi ThankYou points and Choice hotels has led to some extremely lucrative deals on these all-inclusive properties. This is one of the best ways to book an all-inclusive resort, especially if you don't want to travel in luxury for cheap.

Let’s take a look at how, using these Citi ThankYou points, you can stay at all-inclusive resorts from just 10,000 points per night.

What are Citi ThankYou points?

For the unfamiliar, Citi ThankYou points are a type of transferable points currency. This means that when you use your eligible Citi credit card to make purchases, you’ll earn points that can be converted to any of its nearly 20 hotel and airline partners.

In 2021, Citi added Choice Privileges as its very first hotel transfer partner. While this was exciting news for Citi cardholders, even more exciting was the transfer ratio from Citi to Choice.

The rate at which Citi ThankYou points transfer isn’t universal for all Citi credit cards. Rather, your transfer ratio will depend on which Citi card you hold.

The following Citi cards transfer points to Choice at a 1:2 ratio:

Citi Premier® Card .

Citi Prestige® Card .

These Citi cards transfer points to Choice at a 1:1.5 ratio:

Citi ThankYou® Preferred Card .

Citi Rewards+® Card .

Citi Double Cash® Card .

While Choice also partners with American Express Membership Rewards and Capital One Miles , both programs transfer at just a 1:1 ratio.

Choice hotel brands include a handful of all-inclusive resorts scattered across Mexico and the Caribbean. Now, using Citi’s excellent transfer ratio, cardholders can snag themselves cheap all-inclusive resorts for as little as 10,000 Citi points per night.

How to transfer Citi points to Choice Privileges

The first step to booking your all-inclusive resort is transferring your Citi points over to Choice Privileges . To start, you’ll need to log in to your Citi account. Once there, you’ll see a sidebar on the right side of the page displaying the number of Citi points you currently hold. Just under your points bank, you'll see an option to redeem points.

best travel site to book all inclusive

Hit the “Redeem” button and you will be redirected to Citi’s rewards portal, where you can use your points to book travel , transfer to other partners or redeem points for statement credits . Here, you’ll want to navigate to the top toolbar that says “Travel,” then hit “Points Transfer” on the drop-down menu.

best travel site to book all inclusive

This will take you to the list of Citi’s transfer partners. You’ll want to scroll down to Choice and hit “Continue.”

best travel site to book all inclusive

At this point, you’ll see a sliding bar that will allow you to choose how many points you’d like to transfer. Keep in mind that Citi only allows you to transfer to Choice in 1,000-point increments. For example, if you try to redeem 6,300 points, it will just round down to 6,000.

best travel site to book all inclusive

After you’ve entered in your Choice Privileges account information and the amount of points you'd like to redeem, you will be taken to the final confirmation page for one last chance to make sure everything is in order. From here, simply click “Transfer Now” and the order will process. Note that Citi says most transfers are completed within 24 hours, but may take up to five business days.

Choice allows award bookings no more than 100 days in advance, so don’t transfer your Citi points too early.

Booking your all-inclusive resort hotel

Now that you have the points transferred to your Choice Privileges account, it’s time to find the resort vacation destination that’s right for you. Choice makes finding an all-inclusive resort fairly simple.

On the Choice home page , select the “All-Inclusive Resorts'' option above the search field. From there, pick the country you would like to travel to — you can choose either Mexico or the Dominican Republic — as well as the city you prefer.

best travel site to book all inclusive

Once you pick the location and travel dates, click the “Find Hotels” button. You will then see a page with all the available all-inclusive resorts in your preferred destination.

Choice Privileges doesn’t charge extra points for suites versus standard rooms, which can get you some pretty spectacular stays.

Let’s say you chose Cozumel, Mexico, as your destination. One potential option for you is El Cid La Ceiba Beach Hotel .

best travel site to book all inclusive

Choice doesn’t charge more points for different room types, which means you can stay in a one-bedroom oceanview suite for 30,000 points per night. There’s no need to fork over extra points for a room with a view.

best travel site to book all inclusive

If you’ve got either the Citi Premier® Card or the Citi Prestige® Card , this means you’ll be spending just 15,000 Citi ThankYou points for this all-inclusive resort. If you have any of Citi’s other cards, you’ll instead be spending 20,000 points per night — which is still a great deal compared to redeeming points with other hotel programs.

It gets even better. Since all-inclusive hotels provide all your food and drinks, they tend to charge per person rather than per room when paying for cash. The same isn’t true for reward redemptions with Choice. You’ll pay just the one flat rate.

Now, 15,000 is a great deal for an all-inclusive resort stay, but it can get even cheaper. Let’s take a look at the Emotions All Inclusive Juan Dolio in the Dominican Republic.

Although this hotel doesn’t have any suite offerings, it does allow you to reserve any of its rooms from just 20,000 points per night, depending on your travel dates.

The max occupancy for many of the rooms at this resort is four guests — and it’s still just 20,000 Choice points per night. Because Choice is a transfer partner with Citi, you could be spending as little as 10,000 Citi ThankYou points per night for four adults at this all-inclusive resort.

How good is this deal? Well, paying for this stay in cash would set you back $880. NerdWallet values Citi ThankYou points at 1.5 cents each . By transferring 10,000 Citi ThankYou points to book this resort, you’d be redeeming your points for a value of 8.8 cents each, which is phenomenal.

To put it another way, cardholders would be redeeming $150 dollars worth of points for an $880 stay. No matter how you frame it, the value of this stay is hard to pass up.

Cheap all-inclusive resort bookings, recapped

The Citi and Choice partnership is great for many reasons, including the friendly transfer ratio and Choice’s vast network of hotels. However, the ability to book all-inclusive resorts using as little as 10,000 ThankYou points per night makes this one of the most compelling options for Citi cardholders everywhere.

Best All-Inclusive Family-Friendly Resorts, at a Glance

How do i choose an all-inclusive resort for my family.

Beth Washington , travel agent and founder of the Getaway Guild , says to start by thinking through the priorities for your family vacation. Ahead, she explains some factors to consider: 1. Is it a must to have a non-stop flight there? 2. What types of activities does your family value in a resort (water slides, zero-entry pool for little ones, golf, variety of restaurants, etc.)? 3. What room type works for you; are you comfortable sharing one room or do you need a separate sleeping area for kids who still nap or go to bed early?

After you discuss these priorities with your family, make a list of the resorts that meet your eye and meet your criteria.

Is all-inclusive worth it for a family?

Washington explains that all-inclusive resorts can be a great value for families. “How many times have you paid $13 for a kid’s meal only for your child to take two bites?! (I know the feeling!) Having food and drinks, kids club, and many activities included in the up-front price is a great way to manage your vacation budget.” Some resorts even include water sports, excursions, and other activities to keep your family busy while on vacation.

What is the best place for vacation with kids?

Do all-inclusive resorts allow children.

Most resorts allow children, but a handful have age restrictions. Others offer children under five to stay free with the purchase of an adult all-inclusive package. Washington adds, “our job is to learn our clients’ priorities so we can make individual recommendations.”

Ahead, see the 20 best all-inclusive resorts for families in Punta Cana, the United States, and more.

The 12 best luxury all-inclusive resorts around the world in 2024

Briley Kenney

A vacation or a trip away is about relaxing, or rather taking a break from the bustle and monotony of daily life. There are some amazing luxury hotel chains to visit, sure. Still, the best trips unburden you by including the preparation of your meals and drinks, offering an abundance of activities with minimal planning, and more. The less you have to do, the better. If you’ve never been on an all-inclusive trip before, that’s precisely the point. Everything is included and prepared for you, and there’s really no need to pay for much else — often, your food and drinks are covered. You can tip, buy some souvenirs, and maybe try out a few snacks or meals outside of what’s available, but again, you don’t have to fret about it if you don’t want to. Surprisingly, there are a lot of all-inclusive resorts and destinations if you know where to look. Pack your bags, don’t forget your suntan lotion, and let’s explore.

Alila Ventana Big Sur

Big sur, california.

  • Included: Food, non-alcoholic drinks, amenities

If you live in the United States, you might not think about an all-inclusive inside the country, but the Alila Ventana Big Sur resort is inarguably one of the most beautiful places to stay. It’s near the redwood groves, California’s incredible coastal forest with one-of-a-kind fauna. There are nearly 60 guest rooms, each with a balcony or private deck, incredible views, and a fully stocked mini-bar. Meals and most amenities are included, although alcohol is extra. There’s a mountainside spa on site, plenty of pools, and Japanese-style hot baths.

Al Maha Desert Resort & Spa

Dubai, united arab emirates.

  • Included: Food, drinks, amenities, activities

Al Maha is billed as a desert oasis and hideaway, about 45 minutes from the city, with over 40 gorgeous suites. It’s part of Marriott’s Luxury Collection and offers all-you-can-eat gourmet food, with three meals a day, and a nearby Terrace Bar to kick back and have a drink after your adventures. Other amenities include an on-site spa, private decks for each room, a desert safari, and a plunge pool. Two activities are included with the price of your stay.

  • The Best Luxury Hotels in Portland, Oregon

As a bonus, you don’t need a passport to visit. Located about an hour from Phoenix and filled with bungalows and cabins, this resort offers free meals, amenities, and more. If you want alcohol, you can also add on a drink credit for $25 per day per guest.

Grand Velas Los Cabos

Cabo san lucas, mexico.

  • Included: Food, drinks, amenities, activities, WiFi in the room
  • Alcohol Extra: No (Select alcohol is included)

If you want to escape daily life and visit an extraordinary place, why not stay at one of the best all-inclusive resorts in Baja California? Romantic couple retreats, family trips, or just some fun in the sun, you name it, it’s all possible at the Grand Velas Los Cabos in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The property features seven on-site restaurants, an 18-hole golf course, a spa, multiple pools, and more.

Hyatt Zilara and Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana

Punta cana, dominican republic.

  • Included: Food, drinks, amenities, activities, free public WiFi

Sister resorts, the Hyatt Zilara and Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana, are two incredible and close properties in the Dominican Republic. Zilara is adults-only, while Ziva is family-friendly. Most notably, the Canapolis Waterpark is some of the most fun you’ll have at any age, and kids especially will love the fast and frenetic slides. There are restaurants, bars, and shops galore with various local cuisine. As a bonus, if you have Hyatt rewards points, you can use them to secure a reduced stay.

Jade Mountain

Soufriere, st. lucia.

Nestled in the Caribbean, Saint Lucia is a breathtaking island, and Jade Mountain is an all-inclusive resort on the coastline. That also makes it the perfect romantic getaway. There are a variety of packages, most of which include food and beverages along with access to some amenities and activities like water sports, yoga, and more.

Lizard Island Resort

Great barrier reef, australia.

If you like snorkeling, diving, or water sports, you’ll love exploring the Great Barrier Reef, and the Lizard Island Resort is uniquely positioned to offer just that. As the name suggests, it’s situated on an island away from the mainland but includes everything you need to have a wonderful time. Luxury packages include fine dining, drinks, and a variety of experiences like a full-day reef tour, fishing charters, and more.

Mohonk Mountain House

New paltz, new york.

  • Included: Food, non-alcoholic drinks, amenities, activities, WiFi

If you want to stay in the country and want something different from the paradise and island setting, Mohonk Mountain House is right up your alley. This faux Victorian property borrows many elements from European architecture, offering activities ranging from horseback riding to archery and axe throwing. Inclusive pricing comes with farm-to-table local cuisine, various activities, WiFi, and kids’ club access if you’re visiting with your family.

Hoba Wawi, Sumba, Indonesia

  • Included: Food, non-alcoholic drinks, amenities, activities

While there’s no direct travel to the secluded island — you have to fly to Bali and then hop on a connected flight — it’s well worth the trip. You’ll get amazing views of the Indian Ocean and access to property amenities like a private pool, horseback riding, and hiking trails. One of the more unique experiences is an open-air restaurant with a sandy floor — it’s like dining right on the beach.

Sandals Royal Caribbean

Montego bay, jamaica.

  • Alcohol Extra: No (Premium liquor and wine are included)

When it comes to all-inclusives, no other location or brand matches Sandals’ renown. This adults-only getaway is perfect if you want to kick back and relax in a waterfront villa, Maldives-style. Except it’s much closer to home, located in gorgeous Montego Bay, Jamaica. It’s a fantastic romantic getaway for couples, young or old, and makes for an ideal anniversary hotspot. Alcohol, premium liquor, and select wines are included, and bars are all over the property, including a swim-up bar. You also get unlimited dining at the nine on-site restaurants. It really puts the “inclusive” in all-inclusive.

The Westin Reserva Conchal

Playa conchal, guanacaste, costa rica.

  • Included: Food, drinks, amenities, room service

If you want to live on the beach for a while in one of the most beautiful locales in the world, visit the Westin Reserva Conchal off the coast of Costa Rica. Hundreds of rooms, a lagoon-style pool, family-friendly activities and amenities, and incredible cuisine await you. Several bars and restaurants are also on-site, so you don’t have to leave the property to make the most of your stay. Meals at resort restaurants are included, alongside select alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. You also have a minibar in your room that’s included and stocked once daily, and 24-hour complimentary room service is available, too.

All your questions about luxury all-inclusive resorts answered

What makes them an “all-inclusive” destination.

Anything “all-inclusive,” from cruises to resort stays, includes pretty much everything you need to enjoy your vacation. Usually, you have access to unlimited food, drinks —sometimes including adult beverages — activities, and entertainment. In most cases, all accessible amenities and events are on the resort property, but sometimes, you’ll receive vouchers to visit an off-property attraction or venue free or at a reduced price.

With the right all-inclusive trip, you can leave your wallet and most of your money at home if you bring any.

Is every all-inclusive resort the same?

No. Not only are they managed and owned by separate brands, but they also sometimes have different guidelines and inclusions. For example, an adult-themed all-inclusive might include free alcohol and adult beverages, while a family-based all-inclusive won’t — though alcohol packages might be available as an extra charge.

What to research before booking at an all-inclusive resort?

Here are a few things to consider before officially booking your trip:

  • Is airfare included, and how much does it cost?
  • Does it include open bar access, and if not, is there an alcohol package available, and how much is it?
  • Do you really get unlimited food and all-you-can-eat?
  • Are there food types that are not included, like shellfish or seafood?
  • How many restaurants are on the property, and which are included in your all-inclusive ticket price?
  • Is there an in-suite bar, and does it cost extra?
  • What activities and amenities are available and included?
  • Are there activities and events available for your family, particularly your children?
  • Is there a day camp or care center for kids?
  • Is WiFi access included, and is it even available for an extra charge?
  • How is gratuity handled? What about taxes? Will you have to pay these separately? Do you have to pre-pay?

What are the different types of all-inclusive destinations?

It helps to know the difference:

  • A la Carte: These resorts are similar to an all-inclusive, with many on-property amenities available and included in your stay, but you pick and choose which services you want.
  • Self-Catering: These resorts provide many amenities, and it’s up to you to use them. Most self-catering venues aren’t “all-inclusive” in that everything is included in your stay. Make sure you read the fine print.
  • Half-Board: Half-board resorts are extremely limited compared to all-inclusive resorts. They might offer Continental breakfast, lunch, or dinner, but only with basic selections, and there are no snacks or desserts. Unlimited drinks, meals, and extras are usually off the table.
  • Full-Board: Full-board resorts take things further than half-board but are much more limited. Meals at certain restaurants, certain drinks, and specific amenities may be included, with more available than a half-board location, but the selections will always pale in comparison to a true all-inclusive.

Always prioritize what you’re looking for, and double-check that it’s available before signing the invoice. Some beach resorts might include alcohol and adult beverages, but top-shelf liquors cost extra. Others might include certain meals like breakfast or lunch, meaning you’ll have to fend for yourself come dinner time.

The limitations mean these resorts cost less overall, which can be good if you’re not interested in full liquor packages or extra amenities like waterparks. But if there’s something you know you’ll want to experience, make sure it’s included.

So, you're going on a trip, huh? That sounds like a blast, especially if it's for vacation or leisure. But if you don't already have some nice luggage, you're going to need some to carry and stow your belongings. There are quite a few modern luggage brands worth shopping like Rimowa, Away, Monos, and Tumi. If you're here, you've probably narrowed it down to two brands: Rimowa vs Away. Great choices! Now, you just need to decide which one is best for you, or rather, which one is best for your next trip. Seeing as they have a lot of similarities, you're in for quite the decision. Don't worry, we're here to help. We're going to compare Rimowa vs Away to help you decide once and for all which one is better. Let's discuss. Rimowa vs Away luggage: Who wins?

If you're hoping to find a clear winner in the Rimowa vs Away debate, we have some bad news -- there isn't one. Both are incredible brands, offering reliable luggage options and regardless of which you decide to buy, you'll be set for years to come. Rimowa is more expensive in comparison, but that's because the brand uses high-end and premium materials. Away is just as reliable and well-designed, but the brand's luggage tends to be more affordable, at least when directly compared. If you're on a budget, then go with Away, but if you have a little extra to spend, go with Rimowa.

Navigating through airports can often feel like a daunting task, especially when confronted with long security lines that seem to stretch into eternity. Amid the fallout from the Boeing 737 MAX crisis, there is a looming possibility of airline tickets becoming more expensive. Incidents like the door of an Alaskan Airlines 737 MAX detaching mid-flight have prompted Boeing to slow down the production of this aircraft.

With airlines facing potential delays in receiving their ordered Boeing planes and some carriers like United even halting orders for certain models altogether, the industry braces for a reduction in available aircraft. These delays, compounded by intensive federal investigations into Boeing’s manufacturing processes, may limit the number of planes available to American carriers. Consequently, this reduction in aircraft availability poses a risk of driving up airline prices for travelers.

The 6 Best All-Inclusive Resorts in California

There’s a lot to be said for the convenience of an all-inclusive vacation package. Paying for everything up front eliminates the potential for shock when the bill arrives at checkout time (something that families and other budget-conscious travelers will greatly appreciate). Choosing an all-inclusive resort in a place like California takes care of another common source of worry and one that has ruined many a vacation: bad weather. California has, for the most part, reliably blue skies throughout the majority of the year.

While it’s difficult to find many true all-inclusive resorts in the U.S. that compare to the type found in the Caribbean and Mexico, there are plenty of package deals that offer half board or at least make it possible to string together a complimentary breakfast with resort credits to cover additional meals. So, if you’re on the hunt for a fuss-free getaway to the Golden State, these all-inclusive package offers are some of California’s best.

Alila Ventana Big Sur, Big Sur

Common area with lit fireplace at Alila Ventana Big Sur

It’s easy to see why California’s Big Sur has inspired some of America’s most celebrated artists and writers. And though room rates have certainly increased since Big Sur’s beatnik heyday, those craggy coastal views remain the same. See for yourself at Hyatt’s upscale Alila Ventana Big Sur , an adults-only resort perched on the cliffs between California’s famed Highway One and the Pacific. Alila Ventana is one of the few true all-inclusives in California, as room reservations cover all meals and snacks, including in-room dining, poolside, or at the guests-only restaurant, the Sur House. Also included in the price are activities like guided hikes, yoga, Tai Chi, group meditations, and even your own chauffeur to cart you to and from town or anywhere else within a three-mile radius.

Guests can choose between forest, ocean, meadow, or canyon view rooms with extras like wood-burning fireplaces, hot tubs, walk-in showers, and other amenities to help make for a cozy stay. Basic king rooms start at $2,100 and go up.

Post Ranch Inn, Big Sur

Exterior of the Pacific Suite at Post Ranch Inn

If your number one vacation objective is rest and relaxation—with an emphasis on rest—the Post Ranch Inn’s current Sleep Program will be right up your alley. The Big Sur resort has teamed up with sleep specialist Dr. Michael Breus to design a guest program aimed at improving sleep quality through diet, spa treatments, and more. Also included in the deal is dinner at the Sierra Mar, the property’s on-site restaurant, and access to Dr. Breus’s seven-part “sleep sessions” video series. In their waking hours, guests can take advantage of activities like yoga, meditation, sound baths, and—for an additional fee—falconry. Also reserved for guests is a fleet of Lexuses for quick jaunts around the area.

Visitors can add the sleep package to any stay of two nights or longer for an additional $1,200 and $900 more for additional guests in the same room.

Brisas del Mar, Inn at the Beach, Santa Barbara

Enjoy a wine-tasting weekend in Santa Barbara at the beachfront Brisas del Mar, Inn at the Beach . The intimate 39-room property offers a Wine Lovers Package which includes a guided tasting-tour of three wineries complete with a catered picnic lunch (weekends excluded). Guests also receive complimentary bottle of Chardonnay or Syrah from Santa Barbara Winery.

Even without the special package offer, all guest reservations include a deluxe continental breakfast, afternoon happy hour with locally produced wines and cheeses, and complimentary bicycles to explore the nearby beaches.

Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort and Club, Dana Point

Exterior grounds and pool at the Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort and Club overlooking the ocean

Located in Orange County’s exclusive Dana Point, the Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort and Club offers guests some of California’s best whale watching and one of the few private beach clubs in the southern half of the state. Guests can make use of beach club equipment such as paddleboards, boogie boards, and surfboards, while golfers may instead opt for the beachfront fairways of Monarch Beach Golf Links.

Currently travelers can book the Another Day in Paradise package, which offers guests a fourth night free during their stay. Another offer currently up for grabs, the Bed & Breakfast package includes an $80 daily credit for breakfast, either in-room or at one of the many restaurants on the property. This package starts at $710 per night for stays this upcoming spring.

Carneros Resort and Spa, Napa

Woman walking next to a pool surrounded by lounge chairs overlooking rolling hills at Carneros Resort and Spa

The cutesy clusters of cottages that make up Carneros Resort and Spa are the absolute antithesis to the mega-resort style accommodations so prevalent in the ‘80s and ‘90s. Cottages are roomy and include private outdoor space, fireplaces, outdoor showers and tubs, on-demand wine, and other frills. Full-sized vacation homes are also scattered throughout the resort village, ideal for big families or larger gatherings. There are a number of package stays to choose from such as the Arrive Early & Stay Late deal. That’ll get you a daily breakfast for two along with early check-in and late check-out, plus a room upgrade. As you might have guessed, wine-on-demand and concierge service doesn’t come cheap, with this package starting at $1,050.

The Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel, Dana Point

Aerial view of the The Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel

Spend a weekend or more at the upscale Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel beachfront resort and reconnect with loved ones. The resort’s Reconnect package includes daily breakfast for two guests in-room or at either of its two restaurants and a generous daily resort credit to put towards lunch, dinner, or other services. Just how much you receive in resort credit depends on the room type you book: Guestrooms earn $100 resort credit per day, Club Level rooms receive $200 in resort credit per day, and Suites receive $300 in daily resort credit.

Though not a true all-inclusive, booking here does give you access to the amenities of both resorts along with cabanas, unlimited rides on three water attractions and the zip line, a welcome glass of prosecco, a touch tank experience, pirate shows, campfire s’mores, sports such as mini golf and tennis, beach games, dive-in movies and access to the fitness center and game center.

All-Inclusive Resort In Florida With The Best Amenities: Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

The palm trees, traditional woodwork, and design of the resort evokes the essence of the South Pacific.

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

Who Will Love It: Disney fans
All-Star Amenities: A water taxi or monorail ride to Magic Kingdom; over-water bungalows
What Not To Miss: The daily resort contests, relays and activities; the barefoot pool bar
Location: Lake Buena Vista

It’s never a bad idea to stay at an all-inclusive Disney resort, but our favorite is Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, which we named one of the best Disney World hotels . Guests here can step onto the property and be whisked away to Tahiti without a plane ticket or passport. Not only are dining and accommodations part of the resort rate, but guests will also receive tickets to the world-renowned Disney park. Rooms and suites are offered alongside bungalows and deluxe studios that are akin to a home. Although the resort offers campfire activities and movies under the stars, sometimes it’s best to step out of your hotel and explore the town a little. Aside from being home to the world’s most sought-after theme parks, Buena Vista also has superb golf courses and a variety of dining and entertainment options such as dinner over medieval jousting.

Any vacation that includes the sun, sand, and ocean is a good one. But if you’re interested in elevating your experience even more, consider booking an all-inclusive resort.

In 2019, I stayed at an all-inclusive resort for the first time. The place I stayed in Turks and Caicos was the perfect way to take a step back from my hectic life and relax. Amenities such as food and drinks (including alcohol), poolside and beach service, and access to water toys were included in the cost of the stay.

The only downside to that trip was that I paid for it with cash — my hard-earned money that could've been set aside for investment opportunities. If you have a pile of hotel points stocked up, you may be able to score a similar stay at an all-inclusive resort for much less expense.

If you’re looking for the chance to book a hotel stay with credit card points, here are my recommendations for spectacular destinations — plus how you can earn the points to book them.

<p> When it comes to an all-inclusive vacation, it may feel like no choice is wrong. But each one is different, and choosing the right resort for you depends on several factors. </p> <h3>Costs</h3> <p> Even if you’re booking an all-inclusive resort with points, there are other costs associated with your stay. One of these is resort fees. For example, at the Hilton Puerto Vallarta Resort, kids ages 6 to 12 will incur an additional resort fee of $65 per night, and kids ages 13 and up are charged at the adult rate per night. You may also be required to pay for parking if you choose to rent a car so you can get off the resort during your stay. </p> <p> As you’re researching your options, read the fine print to understand exactly how much the stay will cost you. Also, regardless of where you stay, you should bring cash (preferably small bills) so you can tip the people waiting on you throughout your stay. </p> <h3>Location</h3> <p> There are all-inclusive resorts all over the world, and the ones we’ve covered include resorts in Central America, the Caribbean, and the Mediterranean. Think about where you want to go and focus on resorts in that area. </p><p>As you research possible destinations, be sure to look at Hyatt all-inclusive resorts, Hilton all-inclusive resorts, and others. Consider each property’s amenities and how many points you’ll need to book them.</p> <h3>Amenities</h3> <p> There are several different types of all-inclusive resorts, including family friendly resorts, adults-only resorts, luxury resorts, and budget resorts. Each type of resort will have different amenities for their guests. Read up on what each resort offers and compare it to what you’re looking for in a getaway. </p> <p> Also, keep in mind that the selection and quality of food and drinks will vary from resort to resort. Check out how many restaurants and bars each resort offers, and consider reading reviews from previous guests to get an idea of the quality. </p> <h3>Rewards balances</h3> <p> If you want to book an all-inclusive resort with points, your options may be limited to the hotel rewards programs where you have points, like Hilton Honors or World of Hyatt, for example. Also, the number of nights you will be able to stay will depend on how many points you’ve earned. </p> <p> As a result, it’s best to diversify your travel rewards so you have more options from which to choose. Also, learning about the different all-inclusive resorts available can give you some ideas on which should be the next <a href="https://financebuzz.com/best-hotel-credit-card?utm_source=msn&utm_medium=feed&synd_slide=9&synd_postid=5485&synd_backlink_title=hotel+credit+card&synd_backlink_position=2&synd_slug=best-hotel-credit-card">hotel credit card</a> you open. </p>

How to pick the right all-inclusive resort

When it comes to an all-inclusive vacation, it may feel like no choice is wrong. But each one is different, and choosing the right resort for you depends on several factors.

Even if you’re booking an all-inclusive resort with points, there are other costs associated with your stay.

As you’re researching your options, read the fine print to understand exactly how much the stay will cost you. Also, regardless of where you stay, you should bring cash (preferably small bills) so you can tip the people waiting on you throughout your stay.

There are all-inclusive resorts all over the world, and the ones we’ve covered include resorts in Central America, the Caribbean, and the Mediterranean. Think about where you want to go and focus on resorts in that area.

As you research possible destinations, be sure to look at Hyatt all-inclusive resorts, Hilton all-inclusive resorts, and others. Consider each property’s amenities and how many points you’ll need to book them.

There are several different types of all-inclusive resorts, including family friendly resorts, adults-only resorts, luxury resorts, and budget resorts. Each type of resort will have different amenities for their guests. Read up on what each resort offers and compare it to what you’re looking for in a getaway.

Also, keep in mind that the selection and quality of food and drinks will vary from resort to resort. Check out how many restaurants and bars each resort offers, and consider reading reviews from previous guests to get an idea of the quality.

Rewards balances

If you want to book an all-inclusive resort with points, your options may be limited to the hotel rewards programs where you have points, like Hilton Honors or World of Hyatt, for example. Also, the number of nights you will be able to stay will depend on how many points you’ve earned.

As a result, it’s best to diversify your travel rewards so you have more options from which to choose. Also, learning about the different all-inclusive resorts available can give you some ideas on which should be the next hotel credit card you open.

<p> When someone dies, their assets are transferred to any heirs. In some cases, this is a taxable event. The transfer of wealth could trigger estate taxes, which are paid by the estate of the deceased person. Or it could trigger inheritance taxes, which are paid by those who inherit money. </p> <p> Estate taxes could be charged on either the federal or state level, whereas inheritance taxes are charged only by a limited number of states. How to earn more points to book an all-inclusive stay

All-inclusive resorts can be incredibly affordable if you have enough points to book your stay. But if your rewards balance falls short, here are some ideas on how to bridge the gap:

  • Apply for a new credit card. Many of the best travel credit cards from hotels offer big sign-up bonuses that can help you achieve a points goal quickly.
  • Start using your hotel card more. If you already have a hotel credit card with a program that has all-inclusive resorts, consider using the card as your primary payment method.
  • Use dining rewards programs. Dining rewards programs allow you to earn bonus points with loyalty programs whenever you eat at participating restaurants.
  • Buy points: If you’re just shy of the number of points you need to book your trip, it may be a time when buying points or miles makes sense, especially if you need to book soon and don’t have time to wait for points earned with your credit card to post. Just keep in mind that buying points usually doesn’t provide good value. But if you just need a few thousand to reach your goal, it can be well worth it.

As you consider these and other ways to earn more hotel points, remember to focus on rewards programs with all-inclusive resorts that you’re interested in.
