Welcome to Hays Travel Bournemouth! My name is  Danielle  I am the Manager here in the friendly Bournemouth branch and have been here since June 2018. I am currently into my 12th year with the company. As I am so busy during my daily working life my favourite type of holiday is a relaxing beach-based getaway somewhere nice and hot. My favourites being the beautiful Greek Islands and, for a long haul holiday, either Mexico or Thailand. I am also lucky enough to of travelled to Lapland with my young son and this was the best holiday I have ever been on so this will be hard to top. My next holiday is Belek in Turkey and my bucket list holiday is New York at Christmas time.

Let me introduce you to my team. My assistant manager, also called  Danielle  has worked with us for 5 years after joining us a trainee. In 2017 she took the step up into management and has not looked back since! She loves all types of holidays, relaxing in Turkey on the wonderful Lara Beach or partying in Ibiza! Danelle is also very lucky to be able to say she has visited Sardinia, Barcelona, Milan, Tenerife and many more places across the world. Her next holiday is Las Vegas and her bucket list destination is Cancun for Spring break.

Emily  loves exploring new places and enjoying the food, architecture and culture. When asked what her favourite country is she excitedly said Italy. She has also been lucky enough to go to Croatia, The French Riviera, Greece, Malta, Sweden, Czech Republic, The Netherlands, Austria, New York and had her honeymoon last year in Hong Kong and Bali. Her bucket list destination is Japan during cherry blossom season. On to  Tom  , he is our first year apprentice and joined us in August 2018. He enjoys exploring new places, and especially trying new foods. He has laid on the scolding beaches of Egypt, and snowboarded on the slopes of Jungfrau in Switzerland, and even traipsed around the streets of Rome. His favourite memory on holiday was swimming amongst the exotic fish in the coral reefs of the Red Sea in Hurghada. Next holiday is Amsterdam to explore the city with family. Bucket list destination: Sri Lanka explore the ruins.  Ellie  had previously worked as International Cabin Crew for British Airways, flying to both long haul and short haul destinations around the world. She has always loved travelling and going on holiday with family and friends. Some of her favourite short haul destinations include Gran Canaria, Barcelona, Paris, Krakow & Turkey.

We recently held a cake sale in branch in addition to selling raffle tickets in order to raise money for the Muscliff Primary School. We had a great few days welcoming customers and treating them to our goodies and a hot drink. In total, we have raised £211.67 with the funds going towards the purchase of new school equipment.

I was booking a last minute holiday. I told Rebecca, the agent, what I ideally wanted and she found it. She spent quite a bit of time with me, checking different hotels and seemed very knowledgeable about the pros and cons of each. The price was competitive. She was very chatty and friendly too.

We met a lovely happy smiley lady called Tanya. Took care of every single thing. Printed our ATOL papers out. Couldn’t do enough. Had a reminder to take our passports in. That’s exactly what’s want from Hayes. Will get tickets and labels later. Fantastic will always go back to Hayes.

The meet and greet, top class receptionist/advisor name of Skype plus the assistant manager Simon they together qualified our needs and wants. Sean, star of Hays Travel

Our agent, Sean, was very helpful and devoted an extraordinary amount of time to our rather modest short break. He had to call through to a central department of Hays to confirm details and secure our booking, from which he was cut off at least twice whilst on hold after speaking to his colleague. Each time he had to call back and rejoin the call queue, only to have to speak to another colleague! We were with him for over an Hour but had to leave while he was still on the phone. He called me about a hour later to say he had just completed the booking! Not the most efficient use of everyone’s time, but in the end we got a great value trip booked up. Thank you Sean.
