A beautiful trip to Venice

I recently took my granddaughter to Venice booking everything through Voyage Prive. This was the 4th time I have used this company. The website and app are both easy to use. Everything is well planned and organised. Paperwork is clear. Contact numbers for emergencies are provided before you leave. I am about to use Voyage Prive for the 5th time, to go to Santorini, a clear indication of how we trust this company. Venice was as wonderful as anticipated the second time around.

Booking and information was fast and informative. I like the reassurance of back-up if there are any problems. I have booked many holidays and city breaks with VP and always found the hotels to be of a very good standard and there is always a vast selection of flights on offer. Furthermore, I think VP is good value, offers a complete and full holiday experience with very good customer service.

Dont trust Voyage privee

Voyage privee is an agency that deals with hotels and airlines with no human perspective. They are never by your side, they dont support you anyway. We have paid for a 7-days trip in Tunis and they OBLIGE us to leave one day earlier (loosing the hotel and bookings) at 2@m from the hotel. Almost 6hours before the flight departs. They dont listen to you, they dont care, they make you loose. CUSTOMER service said they could do nothing to help, blaming the airline. Very pitiful and useless indeed! A holidays to Tunis that should have been relaxing became a complete nightmare. Dont trust them because if something goes wrong your are done.

Historic hotel in centre of Florence

Excellent value trip. Interesting old hotel with 600-year history, great location near main station (with efficient new tramway from airport), and so easy to walk around the historic centre of Florence. Friendly helpful staff, plenty of quiet places to sit and read, sweet little courtyard, didn’t use the outside spa/pool as it was February, but the water was warm! Breakfast was a little uninspired, very little hot food, but lots of pastries and breads (why is Florentine bread so tasteless? Maybe as it seems to be salt-free….) Opposite the world’s oldest pharmacy and 2 minutes from the exquisite church Santa Maria Novella. Lots of great trattorias and pizzerias nearby.

Friendly and efficient service. A perfect itinerary.

The trip and service that I got exceeded my expectations. We had to make literally last minute amendments - change one of the travellers, changed accommodation and dietary requirements, visas and airplane tickets for the domestic flights. We got support throughout the ordeal by mail, phone and social networks even during the weekend and after dark:). That made the whole trip possible and I could tell the team both in the UK and Vietnam were both driven by the desire to make us feel good. The service was personalised and the itinerary well planned in a way that kept the level of excitement and anticipation high untill the last day. We always felt pampered and taken care of. The journey gave us a sense of understanding Vietnamese people that wouldn't have been possible if we had travelled on our own. The tour guides were very good - friendly, helpful and efficient. The drivers were excellent with clean and comfortable cars. The hotels chosen by the company were all very good - in good locations, design and food.

The must-sees of Panama !!! 👌🏼

We made a tour through Panama, booked with Voyage Privé and organized by Cacao Travel Agency and it was a super fantastic trip. We saw and stayed in Panama City, Boquete, Bocas del Toro, among others. We have always had different drivers, guides, especially Assyres, Byron, Carlos, and we would like to thank these people for their efforts and one person who really stood head and shoulders above his other colleagues, namely guide Sam Brittons for his knowledge and friendliness, was huge. Keep up the good work Sam!!! and of course not to forget the people of Cacao travel and Voyage Privé for this unforgettable journey.

Where's your customer service? Hello? Somebody there?

Our trip to the Maldives was good and the hotel of great quality, but Voyage Privé's customer service was completely non-existant. We filed 2 requests that to date have not yet been adressed, and could not find our way to get an agent on the phone - that's absolutely terrible.

Sol Oasis, Marrakech

Upon arrival at Sol Oasis, we had a warm welcome and drinks whilst staff went through the check-in rigmarole. All was fine until we were shown our room. It was clean but so small I had to "crab" in to get into bed. The second shocker was the en-suite. It was a wet room without any furniture: just the shower (no cubicle), toilet and wash basin. Nowhere to put one's toiletries etc. Being on the ground floor, I imagined it was for people with accessibility issues, but the spartan décor is inexcusable. Bothering on discrimination. The demand to change our room was initially met with resistance. After the first night, we were moved when we threatened to check out prematurely: to another similarly sized room but better furnishing in the en-suite. We were determined to enjoy ourselves regardless and found the staff very helpful and cheerful.

It is well known for the ornate design of many of its stations, which contain beautiful examples of socialist realist art.  You will then take lunch. Day 3: Moscow After breakfast, visit the Moscow Kremlin , the symbol of Moscow and of Russia. This stronghold is the historical, spiritual and political heart of Moscow and the city's most famous landmark and tourist attraction. After this, you will take lunch. Day 4: Moscow Enjoy breakfast followed by a trip to the Sergiev Posad. Located 70 km north from Moscow the historic ensemble of Sergiev Posad is of great interest for tourists and pilgrims as it is a place abundant in excellently preserved monuments of Russian culture , dating back to the XV-XVII centuries. The Monastery of the Trinity and St. Serge founded in 1337 is famous all over the world and often referred to as the “Russian Vatican”. Lunch is included . Return to Moscow. Day 5: Moscow – St.Petersburg Breakfast. Transfer to the train station for the train to St.Petersburg.  Arrival in St.Petersburg. Transfer to the hotel. Dinner at the hotel is included . The Dali was less than 30 minutes into its planned 27-day journey when the ship ran into the Francis Scott Key Bridge on Tuesday.

The ship, which was sailing under the Singaporean flag, was on its way to Sri Lanka and was supposed to arrive there on April 22, according to VesselFinder, a ship tracking website.

The Dali, which is nearly 1,000 feet long, left the Baltimore port around 1 a.m. Eastern on Tuesday. The ship had two pilots onboard, according to a statement by its owners, Grace Ocean Investment. There were 22 crew members on board, the Maritime & Port Authority of Singapore said in a statement. There were no reports of any injuries, Grace Ocean said.

Before heading off on its voyage, the Dali had returned to the United States from Panama on March 19, harboring in New York. It then arrived on Saturday in Baltimore, where it spent two days in the port.

Maersk, the shipping giant, said in a statement on Tuesday that it had chartered the vessel, which was carrying Maersk cargo. No Maersk crew and personnel were onboard, the statement said, adding that the company was monitoring the investigations being carried out by the authorities and by Synergy Group, the company that was operating the vessel.

“We are horrified by what has happened in Baltimore, and our thoughts are with all of those affected,” the Maersk statement said.

The Dali was built in 2015 by the South Korea-based Hyundai Heavy Industries. The following year, the ship was involved in a minor incident when it hit a stone wall at the port of Antwerp . The Dali sustained damage at the time, but no one was injured.
