Translation
If you run to the end of the blue sea There’re salt-like stars in the sky There’s only a camel’s way in the desert, a myriad of people It’s gonna be a road for you
An old harmonica, a familiar guitar Your melody (I’m leaving) The Little Prince, your Melody I’m gonna go find him
Far away you’re my sunshine We were together I’ll know better memories than love I’ll forget you in a glass of water You’re gonna love me more now
That boiling sun is bubbling up Old dreams creak I’m gonna ride a squeaky car and walk through the clouds With the wings of my dreams
Far away you’re my sunshine We were together I’ll know better memories than love For my life find my life In heaven to find and enjoy I’m going to hug you who won’t go down

The Ultimate Travel Playlist: 100 Best Travel Songs (with Lyrics and Videos)
Katie Hammel
July 18, 2023
10 min read
Music has the power to transport us, change our moods, and conjure memories. And, for many travelers, music is closely linked to travel. It can helps us understand the people and culture of a place, break down language barriers, and sear certain moments into our memories forever.
With help from members of our Travel Community and Going staff, we've created the ultimate travel playlist of 100 travel songs. Some reference specific places, others showcase the musical talent of a specific country, and others simply celebrate the joy of exploration.
Here, in no particular order, are 100 of our favorite travel songs.
56 songs that reference specific places in the title or lyrics
Sure, some of these songs, such Paris by the Chainsmokers or Toto’s Africa , actually have little to do with the specific place; it’s just used as the title or the setting for the story. But others not only reference a country or city, they also evoke a specific sense of that particular place or tell a story about that destination.
For example, in Marrakech Express , Crosby, Stills & Nash recount scenes from a train ride Nash actually took in 1966. In London Calling , the Clash sing about the social issues facing London in the late 70s. In Walking in Memphis , Marc Cohn croons about his experience wandering the city. And Simon & Garfunkel's America was inspired by a road trip that Paul Simon took with his girlfriend.
Here are some of our favorite songs that mention a specific city or country, and a snippet of the lyrics.
Listen when: you're on a $388 flight to Vienna, or a $671 flight to Johannesburg, or a $353 flight to Paris, or...

The wild dogs cry out in the night
As they grow restless, longing for some solitary company

It's gonna take a lot to drag me away from you
There's nothing that a hundred men or more could ever do
I bless the rains down in Africa
Gonna take some time to do the things we never have

One word - Cocaine!!!! (for those of you that don't know, yayo is slang for cocaine) I hate that drug!!! Anyways, I found it mightily funny that they included this song in Grand Theft Auto 3. Great game, if that is your cup of tea. Nothing like jacking cars while people are in them and then running the drivers over! Way better rush than coke! :P

Cocaine is an amazing drug. We need to push for legalization of that next after pot. I have not done it in some 20 years but it was amazing.
Used in the movie Scarface where the main addiction was "llello"

scarface is the best gangsta film ever and one of the best games for ps2 and it shouldnt be "llello" listen to the song
labretta, anyone who knows anything about spanish or coke knows its "Llello" thats just how stupid wiggers say it.
This song is awesome. It's actually not a Blondie song, but Deborah Harry as a solo act. It is awesome is Scarface. Oh, and as for video games, check out Scarface the World is Yours...after you play the prequel and the game starts (like a movie), it goes into an introduction with credits rolling and its you as Tony Montana, cruising around Miami in his original gaudy caddy convertible (before the world was his)...just making riduclous gestures, with out couse this song playing... Oh yes, idiots, listen to the spanish speaking people out there, it may sound like Yayo, but it is spelled Llello.
"Listen to the song" ? How exactly, oh great genius, can you determine the SPELLING of a word by LISTENING to the SONG?
It's "llello". It's Spanish, not English. That's how it's fucking spelled. You do realize that other languages spell the same sounds in different ways, right? Probably not, because you're a stupid wigger.
Super fun song! I always enjoy listening and dancing to this :-)
And it really stinks when someone who is not too bright leaves comments on here. No one likes a bully. eww
should be "llello"

Travel Experts Gave Us Their Tips For Plane Seating Hacks, And I'm Going To Use This For The Rest Of My Life
Avoid the bathroom areas..
HuffPost Writer
Choosing your plane seat when you book a flight can sometimes feel like a crapshoot.
Of course, we’d all love to enjoy the extra legroom and amenities that come with business class or other upgraded sections, but the reality is that most travelers are trying to stick to a budget. So which of the many economy cabin seats on a plane makes for the best choice?
HuffPost asked travel experts to share which seat they usually opt for when flying. Keep scrolling for their best practices.
For sleep, the window is king.
“I always book a window seat on flights,” said Gabby Beckford , the founder of travel site Packs Light. “No one likes the middle seat for obvious reasons, and the window allows me to entertain myself and a better opportunity to sleep.”
Indeed, sitting in the window seat means that you can lean your head against the wall to rest, and you won’t be bothered by row mates getting up to use the bathroom.
“I’ll opt for a window if I know the flight path will offer great views,” said travel blogger Esther Susag .
Basically, if you’ll be flying over the Grand Canyon or landing in the Maldives, you might want a chance to marvel at the sights without craning your neck.
If you hate turbulence, consider the wings.
There are other advantages to window seats, especially if they’re over the wings.
“As someone with a fear of flying, I always prefer the window seat above the wings,” said travel blogger Sean Lau . “I recently learned that this spot is usually the smoothest due to its proximity to the plane’s center of gravity. Being able to manage the window shade and having the opportunity to glance outside for reassurance comforts me.”
Try to sit as close to the front as possible.
“I try to sit as forward in the plane as possible so that I can find room for my carry-on in the overhead bin,” Beckford said. “I’m often carry-on-only, and don’t want to be forced to check my bag.”
The closer you are to the front of the plane, the less time it takes to board and deplane as well.
“Being near the front means deplaning more quickly than other passengers, which can be a lifesaver during quick connections,” noted Eric Rosen , the director of travel content at the website The Points Guy.
However, there is one thing to keep in mind about opting for the front row of a plane or section.
“If you are sitting in the first row behind a wall, you will have to place your bag in the overhead bin,” said Adam Duckworth , the president and founder of the travel agency Travelmation. “Some people do not like giving up their things, so don’t book this seat if that’s you.”
Or at least avoid the last rows.
Even if you can’t book a seat close to the front, it’s worth trying to avoid the last few rows of the plane when possible.
“I avoid the last couple of rows on the plane, as it offers the roughest ride,” Lau said. “You’ll also have to deal with noise from the passengers using the lavatory. The last row on the plane may not always recline.”
For stretching or moving, book an aisle seat.
“For long flights, I prefer aisle seats for several reasons,” said Jessica van Dop DeJesus , the founder and editor at The Dining Traveler. “First, it’s easier to deplane without having to wait for several people. Second, it gives me easier access to the overhead bin. And third, it’s easier to get up to stretch my legs and go to the bathroom.”
If you’re someone who likes to stand up and stretch, or has to use the lavatory somewhat often, the aisle seat will allow you to do that without worrying about disturbing your fellow passengers.
There are ways to get out of your middle seat.
If you had to book at the last minute and wind up with a middle seat, just know that there might be a way to get out of it.
“Like most people, I avoid the middle seats at all costs unless it’s the only option left when booking late,” Susag said. “But even then, when I get to the gate, I will always as the desk clerk if there are any other openings besides my middle seat. You just never know unless you ask.”
You might also wind up in the middle between a couple traveling together. While many might want to stick to their preferred window and aisle seats, it doesn’t hurt to offer to swap so that they can sit next to each other.
“I know a ton of people who avoid sitting near a restroom for obvious reasons but also because it’s the area where people tend to gather,” Duckworth said.
It’s not always just the last rows that are near bathrooms, especially on larger planes. So when you select your seat on the map, pay attention to where all of the lavatories are located.
“Some planes have them in their midsections,” Rosen said. “I try to avoid locations by the lavatories at all costs so I’m not bothered by noise, foot traffic or smells.”
Choose exit row seats wisely.
Many travelers try to choose seats in exit rows when they fly because there’s often additional room in those areas. But this option can have a drawback as well.
“If you are in the main cabin but prefer extra space, then consider getting the exit row — but remember that not all exit row seats will recline,” Duckworth said.
Ultimately, every air passenger has different needs when it comes to seat choices. So the next time you fly, assess what you prefer and keep these expert tips in mind to make the best selection for you. This post originally appeared on HuffPost .

Olivia Rodrigo — and her fans — hold nothing back at TD Garden
Near the end of her set at TD Garden on Monday night, the singer-songwriter Olivia Rodrigo took a break from singing the loud-quiet-loud femininity critique “All American Bitch” to instruct the crowd to think of an entity that made them burst with rage — and then, when the lights went out, to scream as loud as they could.
That sort of catharsis runs throughout Rodrigo’s solo catalog, which at present contains two albums, 2021′s “Sour” and 2023′s “Guts,” as well as “Can’t Catch Me Now,” a spectral ballad released as a tie-in to last year’s installment in the “Hunger Games” franchise. Introduced to the public via Disney’s cross-platform behemoth — first through the vlog sitcom “Bizaardvark,” then on the meta-spinoff “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series” — she debuted as a solo artist with her 2021 single “Drivers License,” a heartbroken ballad that transformed a mundane trip through the suburbs into an opportunity to marinate in pain. With heartstring-yanking lyrics and music that went from simmer to boil, it shot to No. 1 on the Hot 100, putting the then-17-year-old at the top of pop’s heap.

Rodrigo could have followed that blockbuster single with an endless string of ballads; she has a powerful voice, wide vocal range, and finely tuned ability to imbue her songs with overwhelming emotion. Instead she released “Sour,” which had weepers like the bereft “Traitor” but also boasted the pop-punky “Good 4 U,” the swirling “Déjà vu,” and the ghostly “Jealousy, Jealousy,” pairing her thoughts about breakups, friendships, and growing up through catchy, left-turn-filled songs that brought to mind the halcyon days of ‘90s alt-rock.
“Guts,” which came out last fall and was reissued with bonus tracks last month, built on that ideal with songs that recalled the loopiness of The Breeders’ more upbeat tracks (“Bad Idea Right?”), the looseness of Austin weirdos Butthole Surfers’ buzz-binned “Pepper” (“Get Him Back!”), and the grand gestures of My Chemical Romance (“Vampire”). Rodrigo’s lyrics grew sharper and her targets more varied; the tremulous “Lacy” is a snapshot of a perhaps-too-charismatic woman, while the plush “Pretty Isn’t Pretty” takes aim at oppressive beauty standards. As Rodrigo noted on Monday, she only turned 21 in February; but as her records and live performances have shown, she’s already developed a strong talent for condensing the widescreen picture and tiny details of life’s slights into glittering alt-pop gems.
Rodrigo played most of her catalog during Monday’s raucous show — she returned for a second show Tuesday — during which she was accompanied by a tightly wound band and a legion of dancers. She was also joined by the crowd, a multi-generational mix of parents and kids, partners and friends, pop fans and rock revivalists, who sang — and screamed — along with what felt like every lyric, and who listened intently to her between-song banter. That unison scream near her main set’s close — which did bring to mind the time-worn cliché about roofs being blown off buildings — was an exclamation mark on a night jam-packed with big hooks and even bigger feelings.

Cuyahoga Falls, OH - Porthouse Theatre, Kent State University’s outdoor, summer theatre located on the grounds of Blossom Music Center, invites you to its season of miracles, in its 56th season Porthouse Theatre will present "Jesus Christ Superstar," "Nunsense" and "Annie" in the summer of 2024.
" Jesus Christ Superstar " opens June 14 and runs through June 29. The preview performance will take place on June 14. What’s the buzz? The first musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice to be produced for the professional stage, “Jesus Christ Superstar” has wowed audiences for over 50 years. A timeless work, the rock opera is set against the backdrop of an extraordinary and universally known series of events but seen, unusually, through the eyes of Judas Iscariot. Loosely based on the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, “Superstar” follows the last week of Jesus Christ’s life. The story, told entirely through song, explores the personal relationships and struggles between Jesus, Judas, Mary Magdalene, his disciples, his followers and the Roman Empire. "Jesus Christ Superstar" is directed by Porthouse producing artistic director Terri Kent , music directed by Jennifer Korecki and choreographed by Martín Céspedes .
" Nunsense " opens July 5 and runs through July 13. A preview performance will take place on July 5. The book, music and lyrics were written by Dan Goggin, “Nunsense” is habit-forming! This riotous show is a fundraiser put on by the Little Sisters of Hoboken to raise money to bury sisters accidentally poisoned by the convent cook, Sister Julia (Child of God). Updated with new jokes, additional lyrics, two new arrangements, and a brand-new song, this madcap musical was recorded for television starring Rue McClanahan as the Mother Superior.
We are excited to have Kent State University and Porthouse Theatre alumna, Colleen Longshaw, back on stage this season as Sister Mary Hubert, head of the novices, to the Mother Superior. Colleen graduated from Kent State University’s Theatre and Dance program with a B.F.A and M.F.A. in acting. She has also previously performed at Porthouse Theatre in “Starmites,” “Hairspray,” “Once on This Island,” “Godspell” and “Big River.” Since graduation, she has gone on to perform in a variety of shows, including a national tour of “Kiss Me Kate” and off-Broadway work with New York Musical Theatre Festival.
"Nunsense" is directed and choreographed by former School of Theatre and Dance director and Porthouse Theatre executive producer, Eric Van Baars , with music direction by Jonathan Swoboda .
Our 2024 Porthouse season will close with " Annie ," running July 19 through August 4. A preview performance will take place on July 19. With music by Charles Strouse, book by Thomas Meehan, and lyrics by Martin Charnin, "Annie" is based on the popular comic strip by Harold Gray. “Annie” has become a worldwide phenomenon and was the winner of seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical. It features some of the greatest musical theatre hits ever written, including “Tomorrow.”
With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone’s hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. She is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage that is run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan. With the help of the other girls in the Orphanage, Annie escapes to the wondrous world of NYC. In adventure after fun-filled adventure, Annie foils Miss Hannigan’s evil machinations... and even befriends President Franklin Delano Roosevelt! She finds a new home and family in billionaire, Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy.
"Annie" is directed by Porthouse producing artistic director, Terri Kent , music directed by Alexandre Marr and choreographed by Martín Céspedes .
